She smiled at the thought that he would love to next time she was in town. She would be putting his advice into practice as she intended on going to the pirate haven. She would be looking forward to there next sparing and the new moon. "Yes i'm quite easy to find if not in the streets I'll be here. Until we meat again." she said and stood up. "Good luck with your training" she said and left the tavern. soon she would be home and asleep but she had fun and will strive to take the advice she had learned.

- "I will be looking forward to it" - Rugal said, most happy about an idea of aided training, perhaps even concluded with another sparring match, which he had expected to be so much different from the one he had earlier this day, with all the new knowledge put into practice. Until the next New Moon, as Vinsue had described, should be enough time for the young apprentice to develop most of the advised skills, especially considering his continuous strive for perfecting himself. Her weariness did not go amiss on him - moreover, it had reminded him that he himself could use some rest, before continuing with his training.- "I take it that concludes our meeting" - the young apprentice went on to speak - "Especially as we both seem to have business to attend. That being said, I will be looking forward to seeing you again. I presume it will not be difficult for us to find each other, once you make your return. That being said, it has been a pleasure to meet you, Vinsue, and I wish you best of luck on your journey."Having noticed that the woman had finished her own drink as well, he stood up from his seat, expecting her to do the same, before the two were to proceed to leave the quiet tavern.

"Truthfully it was safer for me to use flames for it is the element i have the most control with, and I did not mean to worry you with it." she took the last sip of her drink and placed it on the table. "It would be fun to train together for a bit. Just i got to leave tomorrow and will not be back tell the next new moon." she said.  it was nice to see him thinking of her tips.

the spells she had used to give her energy and speed had by now wore off making her a bit sleepy. but she stayed alert for she knows that once she lets her guard down she would be open for attack or chastising and wanted to avoid that. Thing was she did not have enough money for a room or the energy to switch forms and sleep in her nearest cave. "but once I return I would love to train a bit with you." Course she thought that if he knew why she was always in fights or her reputation he would most likely not want to be seen near her.

Seeing Vinsue willing to put his advice into consideration, Rugal felt most satisfied. He felt that he was part of a mutually assisted strive for perfection, with experts in different arts advising each other. That is, assuming he could call himself an expert at his young age. He went on to sip his tea, as he digested the woman's own advice. He nodded along as she went on to give the young apprentice ideas on how he could use his reserves of magical energy. Augumenting his bodily performance was magic sounded like a great idea, and he could not wait to move on with his training and work on this particular method Vinsue had described.

Then she went on to give him pointers on improving his defense, encouraging to involve even more of his energy in aiding his defensive stance. It was a universal truth that defence was not to be neglected, and he was more than happy to digest additional advice on that. If he were to learn that, as well as to constrain himself from showing pain in fights, he would make for a feared combatant, appearing invincible to his opponents. Then, the woman had mentioned Rugal's reaction to her fire attack, in face of which he appeared scared.

- "Fear it was not" - the young man went on to answer - "More of a surprise, if anything. I had not expected such a destructive element being cast against me in what we agreed to be a sparring match. Again, I had to make sure that our little fight was still fought in a friendly spirit. That being said, I would be delighted to have a chance to train with you, so we could put each other's advice into practice."

Rugal then went on to finish his tea, while awaiting the woman's response.

Vinsue was not the kind that would pass up a free drink so she let him pay. She had bought a cup of ale knowing that she would not be affected by it unlike the humans where. than she followed him to the table and took a seat.

Rugal was quick to pull up a quote and explain it as she lessened and sipped her drink. it was a good tip and the man knew technique well as she had learned. then he started breaking down the flows she had made. her hits were what gave him an opportunity to land a solid strike on her. that is something she will improve before they fight again. He liked her stance which she quickly learned in her first few fights.

Now it was her turn to give him tips. "when it comes to hand to hand combat you may want to learn the lesser agility spell which would have helped you match my speed. Besides that you are quite skilled in that aspect and on it i could give little advice besides show no pain. its not easy and took me years to learn but once you master that your opponent will likely lose hope as you did. No hope and one will quickly lose" that was a fun hand on hand which was almost flawless but is magic could use some help.

"As of when we began with the magic you started with a good one. but you may want to turn away from your appoint a bit more as to make yourself a smaller target. It is also good in a magic fight to know your opponent you liked to use energy which is counted by earth just be glad i do not know the art of earth weaving." she took a sip of her drink and looked back at him. "Never give up. one there were more orbs than you could handle try a strong wall or shield of energy as it would stop anything weaker than it and weaken anything stronger than it. Once I used fire you showed great fear. also a mistake once your opponent knows your weak against something they will use it more. If flames bother you learn to control water." she took another sip of her drink as she remembered the fight. "Practice helps with speed which you will want for others would have taken advantage of your distraction."

With a smile plastered over his youthful face, Rugal let Vinsue help him up. It was one thing that the woman was approving of his skills - another was all the knowledge he was enlightened with over the duration of their sparring, despite it being rather brief. What sparked the apprentice's curiosity was Vinsue's mention of the many attackers she had fought over time. How come so many would choose to harm her? He tried his best not to show this question trouble him too much on their way back to the City.

Back within the walls of Iria, Rugal led Vinsue towards his favourite tavern. Having offered to pay for their drinks, he himself ordered a cup of herbal tea, while allowing the woman to pick the drink of her choice before they sat down by the table in the corner he considered the quietest.

- "You can never defeat another, if you do not know how to defeat yourself" - at one point of their conversation, when Rugal went on to give his pointers, he had brought up the quote he found fitting - "It means to know the strenghts and the limitations - these of your own and of your opponent. As for myself, as soon as I learned that I cannot match either your speed or strength, let alone your magical prowess, I figured that I could only count on my martial technique. I had to remain on defensive while I was figuring the safest way to strike you. I took my time to study your reactions, movements and stance…" - he paused for a brief moment to recall the opportunities he took to land an effective, accurate strike on her - "And that's what I caught onto - you start off good, for initially you do not leave yourself open. You tend to slightly miss the mark after you strike, though. Your arms go a little wider apart than they should… That is how I could land that kick, and these few jabs. For that brief while we had sparred, I think that your footwork was fine, as well - you kept your feet nice and wide apart, and so I would not be able to push you over, even if I were stronger. Perhaps later on we could come to the beach again, so I could study your form more in depth, to see whether there is more I could catch up to… that, and to try to put some of your advice in practice."

The apprentice went back to sipping his tea, as he went on to cautiously listen to Vinsue's advice.

"Half the fight is part strength, part strategy, and part mind games." she said now stretching. "needles to say those who challenge me only attack once. and most only do so with a group." she than said about the fools that fight her.

his request was a good one as she had planned on doing when they started. "Let's talk over a glass of ale. I know a good tavern and we have lots to discuss." she said as she offered a hand to help Rugal up to a standing position. he was a good fighter who quickly adapted to best tackle the situation. "Your one of the better fighters i have gone against to tell you the truth, and I would not mind a few pointers." she said not quite happy the fight had ended so soon. she would have loved to see him try to punch with his arm out of joint.

Author: _h0rseradish, Posted: Tue Apr 11, 2017 1:53 PM, Post Subject: [Private] New Arrival, New Acquaintance.

Rugal was surprised to hear Vinsue compliment him on his own strength. When she told him that he indeed struck her with a solid kick, he answered:

- "Yet you took it as if it had no effect on you. Most admirable. I pity a fool who would dare to challenge you to an actual fight"

He remained sat down, and glanced at his limp hand, which did not give him anymore pain, but still inconvienencing him, nonetheless. Their sparring match served as an encouragment for the young apprentice to keep practicing. Indeed, the arcane arts held many secrets which he had not yet discovered, and it seemed that his bodily strength was not at its peak, either.

- "Yes, I would appreciate that greatly. Thank you" - Rugal said in answer to Vinsue's offer to patch him up. He wondered whether she would even consider giving some advice on improving one's capabilities to a person who was still a stranger to her, for it would be of much value to him. Having briefly thought of how to word his request in an appropriate manner, he finally went on to ask.

- "I have been wondering whether you would agree on giving me some advice on how may I improve. Shall you wish so, I could perhaps offer some of my own pointers on strategy and body positioning, which helped me stand against you for as long as I did."

Having asked his question, he wondered whether it was not foolish of him to offer his advice to the being which had overpowered him with such ease. He grew slightly tense and secretly hoped that the woman would not take offense for his offer.

the strikes did hurt but she held the pain and acted as if it did not she was not affected. that in itself angered those she let fight her and she prefered it that way. though it took years to master it was still hard to do. The fact that she had one made her smile and step off of her opponent. than she sat down. and let the pain show. "You got a good kick in you you know." she said than whispered the words to a healing spell. after a minute she got back up.

"So need some help putting your arm back in place and removing the bruises?" once given permission she would take his arm and rotate it into place then grab his hands and whisper the healing spell tell his buses where gone.

Author: _h0rseradish, Posted: Tue Apr 11, 2017 12:26 PM, Post Subject: [Private] New Arrival, New Acquaintance.

Rugal went on to grow more and more frustrated, seeing that none of his tactics seemed to have a notable effect on Vinsue. Even if he managed to slip a strike past her guard, his powerful opponent had only shrugged it off. His well placed kick to the liver did not yield much more than a groan from the woman. Not unlike himself, she went on to dive aside instead of making a useless attempt to remain stood up.

As the apprentice attempted to step in with another jab, Vinsue, having sidestepped, had done something he was not prepared for. Having grabbed hold of him, the woman held him pinned to the ground with her own foot before pulling his arm out of its socket with a quick movement. At that point, the only thing that kept him from screaming in a pathetic manner, was his surprise. While the young man was already aware that Vinsue intended to go hard on him, he did not expect this.

- "Ack!" - Rugal audibly grunted in pain, which was becoming more intense once he looked up to see his limp, ineffectual arm - "I… yield. My goodness, never in my life I had imagined that I would be outmatched to such a degree…"

He looked up at Vinsue, expecting her to let the man go, thus concluding their little sparring they have had.

She had forgotten her strength tell she saw how he had shook his arms. she was surprised that she only caught one leg but he did make the better decision of rolling away rather than staggering. he was close to the glass edge and if she could simply get him out the round would be over and they would need to restart. yet she stood there and let him gather himself. she smiled at his statement and took stance.

she blocked his strikes for the most part as he stroked than backed away to keep her from having the chance to counterattack. she was struck in the side by one of his kicks and fell to the side. quickly she rolled over and got up before charging at him. just before reaching him she stepped to the side and behind him turning in time to push on his shoulder and pull on his arm in hopes of popping it out of place. in the same motion stopping down on his calf to hopefully git him to fall. Her side hurt a bit as it was a strong kick he had did which slowed her a bit but she was still quick.

With Vinsue's strikes being fast as they were, Rugal found dodging them very diffucult - as a matter of fact, he found himself even unable to do so for most of the time. Thankfully, with his form well practiced, the man did not neglect to keep his face and torso shielded and so each of the woman's jabs struck Rugal's guard. However, they did so with powerful impact, quickly rendering him unable to continue protecting himself. The young apprentice was quick to again appreciate the knowledge he derived from his reading and basic training he got, for now he was certain that had he taken a risk and tried to overpower her, he would be deeply regretting that.

Just as Rugal was about to step back and rethink his strategy, he was caught by a spinning kick to his front leg. Had he not moved, no doubt he would have both of his legs swept from beneath him, resulting in an embarassing and maybe even painful fall. Being caught by one leg however, the young man was indeed kicked off balance. Knowing full well that being staggered, he was giving his opponent a wide window for an attack, he had dropped onto the ground and rolled away from Vinsue instead, springing back onto his feet just next to the rim of the glass circle the two were fighting in.

- "You are showing incredible strength, too. I am truly amazed" - Rugal exclaimed, shaking his still aching arms, before bringing them up into a guard again. Still having plenty of stamina and will to fight, he went back to observing the woman he sparred with, this time keeping his distance and only hopping forward and back to swing either a jab with his fist or a kick to her leg instead. If there was anything he had learned from the past moment, it was that remaining in close quarters would be suicidal for him, had it not been for the friendly spirit of the fight.

"That was not the test. I was seeing how much you knew which i'm a bit impressed by." she said. she then took stance. This was not a bar fight and her opponent was no danger to her as far as she could tell so she smiled. this was going to be fun and her head was not on the chopping block if she lost. She relaxed and focused this was going to be a fun one on one.

She watched as He approached. She circled him as he did her and dodged the jabs. she was hit a couple of times but it did not faze her much. she than returned a couple of her own before dropping into a spin with her leg outstretched. her intent was to trip him and stand up.

Author: _h0rseradish, Posted: Tue Apr 11, 2017 1:34 AM, Post Subject: [Private] New Arrival, New Acquaintance.

Rugal did not think much of his opponent blasting his own projectiles away - having already seen her skill in the arcane arts, he would have been more surprised  if his attacks had connected. As such, he did not let many worries hinder his rapid advance. Having found himself in range he found suitable, he let both of his feet leave the ground as he readied the jumping kick aimed at Vinsue's stomach. However, the woman had sidestepped his attack with superhuman speed, while also attempting to push him off balance. Despite that, he still managed to land on his feet, albeit not as gracefully as he would have liked to.

It was at that moment when Vinsue had conjured a strange magical effect, which took Rugal a moment to comprehend. A ring of searing flames had erupted around them, before giving way to a ring of smooth glass. Could she be possibly willing to test his skill in close combat? By no means she looked like a martial arts practitioner, but to be fair, neither was he, for both had their bodies clad in cloth.

- "I presume that we had concluded that your knowledge of the arcane is far superior to mine" - Rugal stated, giving an approving nod. From there, as the man went on to adjust his stance, he took time to think of possible strategies he could employ against Vinsue. Seeing the ease with which she had avoided his attack, he figured that trying to match her in speed was out of question. Whether to try and match her in strength, he could not be sure - she did not look like much, but again, neither was he. The young man could end up regretting an attempt to grapple her. His best bet was to give himself time to learn about any additional strengths or weaknesses Vinsue might have. He cautiously closed his distance and went on to circle her, swinging a light jab at her every second or two. While he was at that, he eyed her from head to toe, gauging her reactions and seeking flaws in her form he could possibly exploit.

She was ready as he spun and threw his energy. The orbs came quite fast so she sent the two she had to stop them. they hit with a small crash and went out. She than recharged her hands and watched as he advanced. she whispered the words to the agility spell and sidestepped last second. in the same instance she gave a push and stepped back. she than completely neutralized all the extra stdic in the air.

She than lit a flame circle around tham a good 15 feet in diameter and put it out. where there was flame now stood a circle of glass where the sand had melted.

The woman's statement was enough to reassure the young man, who had sighed in relief. Having nodded approvingly, Rugal spun around, engaging every cubic inch of his body to give his projectiles momentum, hurling them at great speeds in Vinsue's direction. Being no longer under effect of a malignant spell, Rugal thought he could try his chances in close combat again. He went on to charge his hands with energy once again, but the length of the sparring session he was having, seemed to slowly take its toll on him, for he felt that he had spent much of his magical reserves.

As such, Rugal only held an energy orb in each of his hands and advanced upon his opponents by running, rather than by an energy-aided jump. His white clothing kept doing a decent job at deflecting the sunlight, and as such, he was far from being physically exhausted. The man had brought his hands up, ready to deflect an eventual magical attack Vinsue could launch at him, before finding himself in a comfortable range to engage in physical combat.

She watched the energy and fire collide. The blue and red explosion was quite beautiful and for sure would have hurt if it did hid someone. She thought it was nice how quickly he had reacted though he now looked less willing to fight and more willing to run. guess he did not like fire. "yes, you have nothing to fear this is still just a friendly practice. And you can actually give more effort. even if i were to get hurt i know quite a few healing spells and all damage done would disappear."

she said hopping he would give a bit more of a challenge as she took stance. ready for whatever he tried next. besides fire and energy she did not really know many other elemental spells or attacks. "I would not have hit you with the flames and truthfully i have better control over them." She said as she summoned a charge into her hands. seeing flames consumed her opponent she decided to stick to energy. she did not attack but simply weighted.

Author: _h0rseradish, Posted: Mon Apr 10, 2017 9:36 AM, Post Subject: [Private] New Arrival, New Acquaintance.

Rugal grew tense, seeing Vinsue dispelling his projectiles and standing idly while he focused on the malignant aura surrounding him. However, he was quick to figure that in yet another sportsmanly gesture, the woman gave him time to work his way out of his tricky situation. Soon enough, Rugal was able to break down the electric field into glowing blue particles of raw magical energy he could use. Having done that, he was quick to shape it into yet another, fairly sizable orb.

His determination was quick to turn into fear, as he saw a ball of flame being hurled against him. Speeding as it was, Rugal could only muster to hurl an orb he was already holding in his hands against a fiery projectile, before hopping backwards in an attempt to avoid getting caught in the blast of heat and kinetic energy. The feeling of fear put the man on high alert, and, with all the adrenaline surging through his body, he was able to quickly conjure yet another pair of orbs he had wielded in his hands, ready to strike back, shall he need to.

- "Our practice is still in a friendly spirit, is it not?!" - the man asked aloud, even considering a retreat before a sparring event could turn fatal. But of course, he will never know where he stands unless he asks…

she almost laughed at how crazy he looked but only smiled. She watched as quickly decided to go back to throwing orbs at her. She stopped them in front of her and watched as he slowly discharged the energy around him. She decided to do the same with the orbs and they quickly disappeared. She was glad for the heat the sun brought for it gave her energy and most two leggeds would quickly suffer heat stroke or where down from it. which gave her another advantage.

once he was done neutralizing her spell she formed a ball of flame in her hand and sint it towards him. flame was her first element and also her strongest for she had trained with it for over 150 years. She also liked to diversify the fight and was curious how he would react. if it his him he would get a good burn for sure but she was good with the art of healing so if he was hurt she could undo it.

Author: _h0rseradish, Posted: Mon Apr 10, 2017 12:06 AM, Post Subject: [Private] New Arrival, New Acquaintance.

Rugal was quick to realise he had found himself in a static field of sorts, effectively keeping him from engaging in close combat. That and he looked idiotic, with his medium-long hair standing up as they were. He was quick to whip up a brainstorm, as he went on to think of possible ways to circumvent the disadvantage he was put in. Would he still be conducting electricity if he were airborne, rather than grounded? Perhaps his leather boots would be able to insulate the electricity present in the field he was surrounded with? One part of him was curious what would happen if he were to land a jump kick on his opponent - his other part, however, thought against taking the risk, for the magical nature of his disadvantage made its effects unpredictable…

That was it, magic! Perhaps with enough focus, Rugal would be able to dispel the negative effects of the enchantment that was cast upon him? However, he had to be smart about it - if Vinsue was actively maintaining its effect, his attempts of dispelling it would likely result in a battle of wills, one he could never hope to win, against such a powerful spellcaster. And so he dediced to once again make distance between himself and his opponent and return to throwing orbs of energy at her. Perhaps if Vinsue were to be occupied by protecting herself, he would be able to freely manipulate the electric field surrounding him… Not keeping his eyes from the woman, Rugal put his hands in front of himself, attempting to break down the electricity surrounding him into particles of raw magical energy he learned to wield.

She watched as he countered the first set with a large orb and went defensive on the other. She thought it was quite funny how he did not try to dodge it. Vinsue quickly cault the two orbs as he jumped. she tossed the energy at him as he landed and stepped back to keep room between them as she would want to test he hand on hand abilities tell he was nice and tired from making and using his own magic.

she willed an electric field around him tell his hair was fully on end. anything he touched would shock him. though she kept the field at low power where te energy will do little damage to him if he does not neutralize or redirect the energy. as the field was made she returned to returned to her stance ready to defend his next attack.

Rugal was amazed at Vinsue's ability to take control of his own magical projectiles and turn them against him. And not before giving him a complimentary speech, which the man found most sporstmanly of her. Seeing two clusters of his own energy orbs speeding towards him, he used both of his hands to conjure a larger projectile, which he had hurled against the first one of the orb clusters. The large orb effectively absorbed the energy of the opposing projectiles before disappearing in a burst of bluish light.

Rugal had no time to launch another orb against the second of the clusters. However, quick of mind as he was, the man had near-immediately brought into a crouch, bringing his arms up in order to shield his face and body. A number of orbs had smashed against his guard in a rapid succession, but did not manage to wear him down.

Having given Vinsue a nod of approval, the man had let his energy course to his feet, giving him the strength to leap several feet high. While airborne, Rugal chucked another two orbs her way, before landing just near her. With energy coursing through the man's arms, he was ready either to take an opportunity to engage in hand-to-hand combat, or protect himself from Vinsue's eventual magical offensive.

Vinsue took a bow as he did as he did and quickly took her stance. she stood with her legs spread about shoulder width apart and her body turned mostly to the side to make herself harder to hit. She stopped the orbs in front of her tell he stopped mostly to see how well he could aim. energy may be her newest element but she was by no means weak with it. "I must admit your aim is quite impressive if I were to stand here but chances are if you're using this your targit i moving."

She than realigned the orbs in front of her to where they were in a straight line and took a bit of the power out of them so if they hit him, he would still be able to move. She than sint them back in groups of two a half second apart. in doing this he should have time to dodge or catch them. but if they hit he will fill less than a hard slap and a bit more than a tickle. for she had no intentions of hurting him.

Rugal went on to grow more and more tense at the prospect of sparring with a being as powerful as Vinsue - chances are, it would be one of the greatest challenges he would get to face in a long time. Having heard her request to show her the fruit of his learnings, he had made distance, before proceeding to prepare himself. Having performed a brief kata, which displayed his athletic prowess and control over his body, he had effectively cleared his mind, too - as such, it was where it was needed, fuelling his senses and movements of his body. A faint hum of energy could be heard, as Rugal, having given a respectful bow towards Vinsue, assumed his fighting stance.

- "Very well, then. Defend yourself!" - the man exclaimed. With rapid movements of both his hands, he launched a barrage of glowing orbs of bluish energy her way, each of which packing an amount of energy equal to a strong punch, perhaps. Having attacked, he observed his opponent carefully, intent on seeing the countermeasures she intended to deploy.

with as well as he could read her aura she thought he was a bit more of a master at the art but he was quite new. yet i would be fun to show some of her tricks. and she was glad he seen learning in a similar way as she did. she lead the way to the beach as they talked. and as they seen the beach she stopped "So show me what you know."

- "I can imagine that versatility may be of great help" - Rugal went on to answer, nodding to the woman's statement on her willing to learn all there is to be learned - "I myself had not yet come to possess power such as yours, so I seek to perfect the few spells I already know. When I come to grow more powerful, I will seek new ways to manipulate the arcane energies."

Then the man went on to listen to the woman's offer. A beach was not what most people would describe as "not too far away", but…

- "Everywhere is within the walking distance, if you have time and determination, is it not?" - a smile widened on Rugal's face, as he took an opportunity to quote one of the many authors, whose works he studied. Having then listened to Vinsue's views on prefered learning methods, the man yet again went on to speak:

- "While your statement is most true, let us not forget that it is thanks to the basics passed through books and teachers that many of us have what to experiment with. That being said, I am looking forward to seeing our diverse methods being put to practice, in one way or another."

she agreed to go for a walk outside the city. As she did love nature and the lack of noise. "well i can channel magic rather freely but there are all types of tricks I want to learn. But control is what i would like to get better at." She was still new to the galvanizing art and needed more control in it.  well 200 years on the run would be a great reason to know magic as well as she does. It really helps when she wants out of a fight.

"Well the beach is not to far from here so maybe i can help you in that aspect. Though i am more specialised in fire and electricity i do know some other tricks. As of experimenting, well it is one of my favorite ways to learn for books and teachers can only take you so far. yet your imagination combined with past knowledge can be quite amazing."  she loved training and would not mind teaching the man a few things. course he may end up teaching her something.

- "With all the noisy folk within the City walls, I find it safe to assume that it is most peaceful and quiet outside. That, and the weather seems well suited for a walk. Unless you have another preference?" - Rugal asked, eyeing the woman expectantly. He hoped that she will not find his offer overwhelming, for he would much appreciate the chance to contemplate the colourful landscape of the City's countryside - so far, it worked wonders on his still-developing mind. Having finally agreed to move, either outside the City Walls, or wherever would Vinsue prefer, the young man continued to speak out:

- "Now, I do realise that in its entirety, magic and its applications will likely never be fully discovered. Still, I fail to imagine what else could you possibly seek to learn. The feedback I got from your aura was very intense, perhaps more so than I have read from any other individual before. As for me, I chose to experiment. In addition to honing my knowledge of the arcane arts, I dedicated myself to an intense physical training as well, seeking to make my body a capable vessel for magical energy. In theory, this shall allow my body and mind to compliment each other. I still have yet to test my capabilities in practice, though."

Having finished, he awaited Vinsue's response - chances are, Rugal could derive plenty of inspiration from her choice of learning methods and so he was very attentive.

"Nice to meet you too" she said then again looked over the packed streets. as before they were still packed. She knew that a lot of people in this town could detect the magic flow in people so it did not surprise her that he made the statement. "Thankyou, but I still have a lot to learn." she said pulling her eyes from the crowd and back on him. so far no one after her had appeared and the crowd was slightly thinning.

"Fair enough." She said to his question. She had no worries of getting overpowered if he intended to do so. She was strong and knew many types of attacks after all she survived making a god and a few pirate lords mad. She also liked the thought of being able to possibly learn new magic. She was gitting a bit tired not causing trouble and all so it could do he a bit of good. "Lead the way." if he would rather her lead she would go to a tavern near by. if not she would gladly follow.

- "The name is Rugal. Nice meeting you, Vinsue" - the young man answered the woman's introduction, giving her a complemenary nod. Judging from her remark on the traffic at that time, he assumed that the woman knew the city at least to a desirable extent. There was one more thing that had sparked Rugal's interest. He sensed a magical aura around Vinsue, and as far as he could tell, it was quite a strong one, too. Even though he might not have been showing it, he even felt slightly intimidated at first. He was quick to relax, however, considering it a good thing in the end. If anything, that was at the very least a sign of one common interest being shared - and it was magic. Yet another subject to discuss while waiting for the crowd to thin out.

- "The strength of your aura is very impressive" - the young man spoke, visibly excited - "I presume it took you much of your life to achieve such mastery over arcane arts?"

Rugal's excitement took over his good sense, which he was quick to realise after he asked his last question, which he believed was a bit too snoopy for anyone's comfort, especially so soon after making acquaintances. Intent on rectifying the mistake he had make, the young man went on to speak:

- "My apologies, I did not intend to be this nosy. See, I only recently had begun researching the arcane arts and I became greatly interested in its different aspects since then. That being said, how about we take our first chance to walk past the crowd and find ourselves an isolated place where we could discuss our studies?" - he looked expectantly at Vinsue, having asked his question.

She looked at the man closed in white and blue. If she was not from this town she may have thought him a student studying in the academy. "Just that time of day. though it only lasts a good hour or so." she said. "I'm Vinsue. Might you have a name?" She said wanting to know who she was talking to. it was funny how packed the streets could get. perhaps she missed something perhaps there was something happening yet she did not remember anything epic happening today and the streets almost always seemed packed at this time of day.

Slightly disgruntled at his failure at finding employment, the young man quietly finished his tea before once again looking over a bulletin. One of the notices posted here caught his particular attention - a wanted poster. Unfortunately, someone must have carelessly spilled their drink over it, for it was badly stained - to the point the portrait was not at all recognizable and further details were difficult to read as well. Having failed to find any other noteworthy notice, the man walked outside onto the busy alleyway.

Strangely enough, for an alleyway obscure as it was, it sure had its share of traffic. Nonetheless, wearing his strange outfit, the young man still stood out, even in a crowd as sizable as it was. After a while of waiting, he considered muscling through them, but finally, seeing a few burly men carrying crates of what seemed to be an expensive merchandise, he finally decided against doing so, and instead waiting for the crowd to thin out a bit.

While he was waiting, one person drew his attention. A lone, seemingly young woman standing leaned against a wall was also looking different from the rest of the crowd, wearing just a plain, hooded brown robe. And she stood just near him, so having assumed that he would not be going far out of his way to make some small talk, he chose to do exactly this. Having approached the woman, who was standing only a few steps away from him, he asked:

- "A busy day, is it not? Any clue where they all might be going?"

Today seamed great for the moment. no bounty hunters, no fights, no beer. She for once did not come to go get a drink at the bar as she usually did. But had came to simply see the busy streets and the markets. She wore a simple brown robe as she always did when she did not want trouble. Her pure white hair was covered by its hood. her face and hands were all that showed as she walked around.

She had thought about going to the library but decided against that as she remembered the last time she had gone in and still had a lot of work to do with her newest abilities. she shook the thought as she noticed how packed the streets were getting and walked to an alleyway to stand tell the crowd would die down. She leaned against the wall and watched the crowd.

It was yet another busy day in the City of Iria. Plenty of folk going about their business, whatever that might be, made for a sizable crowd in the streets, occasionally pouring into an alleyway or a large doorway of the City's many facilities. One of the relatively quiet of the alleyways was where one unremarkable inn stood. Albeit quite a distance away from the City Centre, its affordable prices attracted many customers, who wanted to save some money and did not mind taking a walk.

Among one such customers was a young, dark-haired man, whose strange, mostly white and blue outfit, consisting of a sleeveless, hooded tunic worn over his linen shirt and trousers, suggested that he was dabbling in the arcane arts, although the fabrics he wore were less fancy than one would expect from a mage, and were more on a sturdy, practical side instead. Helping himself to a cup of tea, he looked around in search for someone, who could potentially employ him for doing some odd jobs - after all, his classes costed money.

While he was most aware of importance of the rigorous life he led - after all, he had made the choice himself, when he left his family home - he also knew that a person could stand only so much of the daily grind. Although actively searching for somebody to employ him for the time being, he was willing to deviate from his daily grind for a while to relieve himself. Where would he look for that, though?
