Even got the PM system to work with the name-linking (I was just… not doing it right when I tried this weekend; Telly told me how I needed to do it, and here we are). Now, it there is a name, you can probably click on it and view that person's profile.

To do this, it's a matter of going in to all the templates and adding links when names appear. This is pretty easy for the forums, but I don't think it's quite so simple for the PM system (the code for which BUUUUUUURNS) as I don't think it's really linked to profiles the way the forum code is linked to profiles, and linking the two is beyond what I know how to do (I think).

But, just wanted to clarify, clickable names isn't exactly possible in the way I think you're thinking; rather, we need to edit templates to make user names link to profiles, and that's a bit of a piecemeal process as it's easier to add profile links in some places than in others.

Oh neat!!  And the View Profile option seems to be working now so yay @_@ I still think in the future, low on the list in comparison, clickable names could be good because say someone sent an rp request via pm and you want to check out the profile.  If they aren't online you'd pretty much have to root through threads to find them or go through the entire member list to do so.  I know it's not high priority of course but still something to chew on :D

Actually, now on my phone none of that is there: no stats, no character information, no avatar, nothing….just the signature and usual header information 

Google Chrome on my phone and Internet Explorer on the computer for browser that won't work

What phone and browser(s) are you using where it's not working? I just tested the view profile link on my phone, and that's fixed for me (though it wasn't working in the past, just fixed recently).

I could make usernames clickable, too, but the code to do it would be pretty much the same as the View Profile link, which might not help you if the View Profile link still doesn't work for you.

I'm sure that clickable actual names are doable, but there are a lot of other items higher on the priority list for the time being.  Sorry!

Nope >_<  It doesn't work on every device at least, like it simply will not work on my phone and doesn't work on every browser either.  I'm thinking about like in PMs and whatnot if we would be able to click on the name of the person who sends it as well as just in threads in general if you wanted to click on someone's name.  It seems like the coding for "View User Profile" doesn't work across all devices and browsers.

I thought it would be helpful if we could click user names and be taken to their profiles.  So far I've only been able to do this from the list of people currently online at the bottom of the screen, or from the memberlist.

As we have yet to get a Friends List I think this could be helpful in the mean time :3  If this was already suggested then I apologize for doubling up @_@
