It could have been DNS issues. Not sure though. shouldn't have been an issue. But glad that it managed to resolve itself.

Just got through using the site on internet explorer for about an hour or so. Haven't ran into anything yet, used this account along with another one, navigated around a bit with both accounts and posted with the latter. I'll be keeping tabs on this just in case.

On lunch away from my desk right now.  It happens upon accessing the site but I made it onto the site and then it happened again when I tried to log in.  It basically just says there's no connection and no cached information, but my job is Internet based and the connection in the building is fine.  With the blocks they have up in doubt I'd be able to save a screenshot anywhere and upload it.

What specifically are you trying to do when you get the error? (Access the portal, submit a post, log in, etc.)

This is the browser at work unfortunately.  I'm having problems accessing the site though for some reason but it was working earlier T_T it says theres no cached information from the site but I am a humble rper and don't know what to do with that information lol
