So, since I got the main item I wanted from the event and I don't have enough leftover to make another item, I'd like to donate all of the event drops I have left to whoever needs them - if that's possible.

Well, if it's any consolation, your post about getting so many ash is why I checked the drop rates and realized they were off! (But probably not, so trade your ash for something else and you can make one or more of the prizes.)

Teh items were agreed upon prior to the icons being made, ho that's a non issue for the future. I had wanted the drops to go more evenly as well, so perhaps in the future the division of -where- what drops will allow for greater gathering of items. I also hadn't intended people to want to make every- one, but rather have something for everyone :) (The ranger, the rogue, the healer…etc) Lesson learned on that front. As it is I only got enough drops to make my dagger lol.

We knew it would be a problem but she already had her stuff made so we made an exception. (she paid someone to draw her stuff). We've limited it to 3 prizes and are talking about limiting the number of synth down to 2 and possibly how much is required to get the prizes.

In my opinion the amount of items or the amount of synth required to make all items was pretty unrealistic for the time span. Members would have had to post double digit times assuming they got all the right synth and not a bunch of one like you. Much more if they didn't. It just wasn't realistic in my opinion. The Halloween one was much more realistic. And you could even up it from there just not THAT much.

So we just had our first real official event. I already know that perhaps we could have done the drops better. Probably the drops in different places and then you could have had a better chance to do it. (I know I ended up with 8 ash! xD) So I feel ya.

On the Administrative side as the person who handles the event and God Items what input do you guys have? I have a feeling 500,000 works well. In hindsight the event shouldn't have been on a holiday week (But we are all new to this so bear with us! We are learning).

So next time when we have a free clear shop for 2 weeks I am thinking 1,000,000 if nothing else is going on. I want to have like at least a week min. in between our events. Gives  you guys a break and allows the staff to prepare for the next. Realize that somethings I will have to say no to. Like extending how long events last. Realistically an event past 2 weeks gets boring to the majority of the site. Instead of 2 events a month we would be looking at 1. They would all be back to back. We're looking to avoid that. 8 deities means 8 events throughout the year. Not counting the extra event they can do if they want. Plus any Admin events we are planning because we are sneaky bastards like that. Realistically to us it's not possible for 3 week event unless it deals with major plot to the development of Revaliir's lore.
