By order of Queen Qendresa Fiona Thema the First, of the Adelinian House of Adeluna and the Akuri House of Mamlak, by the grace of the gods Queen of Adeluna, Apoy, Egjora, and Vilpamolan, the following has been decreed:

With the repair of the great clock in Arri complete, time has stabilized and the dangers of Timedeath are at an end. Our glorious Queen can now be confident that all of her subjects are united not only under one crown, but also under one calendar. However, Timedeath presented a problem, in that for so long, people could not agree on the date. When the moon Parvpora completely disappears from the sky, as it will tonight, it marks the beginning of a new year. This system has been in use for centuries, since the early years of the Adeluna Kingdom, and for this reason, we number our years beginning with the year this kingdom was founded. Timedeath has made it difficult for royal chroniclers to determine the precise date, and so historians and representatives from numerous nations across both continents were consulted, all to solve this difficult problem. They have concluded that it has been 527 years since Queen Adelaide married Attius the Conqueror, merging her ancient bloodline with the territory he seized from the dying Kelonian empire, and thereby founded a kingdom unlike any the world has ever seen.

Many consider this to be an auspicious year, one which promises wealth, prosperity, and general good fortune. May the gods bless the Kingdom, its Queen, and all the people of Revaliir this year, and all the years to come.

Signed this First day of Primum, in the year 527.
