The aurora that has spread across the sky originating somewhere in the region of the Jasumin Plains has grown brighter and more vibrant, seen even during the daytime as Parvpora enters her longest stage of fullness for the year. Now as the sister moons enter singular time of year that they are full together, the magical energies that typically lay dormant during the rest of the year flood the lands as if they entire world was left in the wake of a massive Void Storm, without the negative effects. Mages, Sorcerers and anyone else who harnesses this natural energy knows that this is a boon from the one who controls the floor of the raw mana. As a confirmation of this, symbols of The Keeper, the triangle with the eye inside, have been seen lingering in the aftermath of spells and appearing etched in magical items. All across the world black stone circles etched with glowing runes have appeared, standing upright of unknown construction. Inside these circles swirls a portal of colors that mimic the aurora seen in the sky.
As one approaches these mysterious gates, a voice can be heard, speaking to both the heart and mind.
“The Days of Hebheka are at hand, and I, Adraejen Porthyrius, personally invite you to Tar Eisalae to celebrate with me. Magical and Mundane come and test your skills of wit and ingenuity against the challenges I have personally prepared!”

To accept the invitation, one merely needs to step through the gate, and find them transported across land and sea to the grounds of Tar Eisalae the Temple Library. This is the source of the aurora which radiates out from the great crystal Occulus as a beacon inviting visitors.

Situated in a triangle around Tar Eisalae are the three challenge areas created for the Keeper’s debut:

The Shtahu Labyrinth:
Designed to test the wit and intellect of the challenger, this shifting maze with walls of thick black and purpled veined hedges is full of creatures and tricks and puzzles to hinder the advancement of each individual. Guarding the exit of the labyrinth is an elegant sphinx. To get past her, one must correctly answer her riddles, or find a way around her without getting her attention. Should one choose to answer a riddle, and answer incorrectly, they will find themselves teleported back to the beginning of the labyrinth.

Heka Arena

Crafted of the same black stone as the Keeper’s Gates, the Heka Arena is a massive amphitheater where individuals can showcase their magical abilities and prowess by way of duels and displays of talent. The Keeper has even provided live sources of entertainment of various sorts to pass the time. All around the Arena, vendors of all sorts have set up stalls to peddle their wares, magical and non to those who many wish to show off their abilities in the eye of the public.


Hemut Workshop
As a final offer of challenge a massive wall-less longhouse has been constructed of the hardest most durable wood. The Hemut Workshop is filled with various crafting and forging stations that would make even the most prestigious Artificers ripe with envy. Stocked with any raw materials a mage could want to forge, sew, enchant or build their own magical artifact, mages and warriors like are encouraged to try their hand at crafting their own magical items.

Hebheka Writing Contest
Week 1: Shtahu Labyrinth - Copper Token of the Keeper
500 Word minimum.
Write about how your character solves the labyrinth without flying above or tunneling beneath the maze, or teleporting. How will your character escape using their by using their wit and intellect? Participants will be pmed a unique monster and riddle that will be asked them by the sphinx. Answering the riddle the correct way the first time will give a bonus to the participant score. Do not spoil the fun by sharing your riddle until AFTER selections for the next phase are done.

Week 2: Best of Show in the Heka Arena - Silver Token of the Keeper (5 Participants)
500 Word Minimum
Utilize your character’s showmanship to demonstrate your magical abilities in a visual display for an audience. Be imaginative present your special talents in a way unique to you and wow Lord Drae, the audience and the judges.

Week 3: Design an Artifact in the Heka Workshop- Gold Token of the Keeper (3 Participants)
500 word minimum
Your character must design and craft a unique magical item. This entry must include an ingredient lists made up of synth and alchemy items found around Revaliir.
