PMs are the only option that currently require a staff member to turn on and off. If your desire is for emails on active threads, remember that you only get emails for threads you're watching. Your watchlist is located under your name in the navigation bar, so you can go there to remove individual threads if you want to stop being notified for them. If you simply want to turn off emails on replies alltogether, there's an option for that under your profile edit menu.

I would actually like that to stop getting emails wherever one of my threads is answered, if that is possible :)

If you guys want emails that you got pms to come to you please tell me. I have to manually turn it on for you guys if you aren't getting them. We're working on it so you can turn it on yourself but it will be a while.
