Going forward with events in 2017 we are changing the way we do certain things. Our goal is to learn what you guys need and what we can do to make things easier. SO without further ado here are some of our changes coming up in the new year:

1. Less Vague Events: We’ve learned a lot about the way we do events and we know that sometimes we’re not the best at saying the whys, whos, or whats. We’re looking to change that in 2017 and hope that if we miss the mark you guys will tell us!

2. Longer Admin Events: You saw it with the way we did the Murder Mystery in August, Halloween in October, and the recent Wings of Winter in December. Our goal is to have better Admin events that last a whole month so everyone can enjoy. These do not count Deity events since we have to fit all of them into the year. However, we’ll be offering more ways for Deities to pull out all the punches to give you an enjoyable experience in 2017.

3. New Item Drop System: It’s in the works. We just have to finish setting it up. Our goal is for the problems with drop system to be fixed. I can’t go into too much detail about how we’re doing it. Just know we know it’s a problem and we’re fixing it. We’re hoping to launch it live within the first half of the year barring there are no problems. Our goal is to make the first drop 100% for everyone posting for events.

4. Event Locations: We know it’s hard to find the location we’re hosting the event in. From now on when the event is in one location say Arri, for example, we’ll be moving it to the front page like we do for custom event areas. During this time none of the links linking to this spot will work. However, it will make finding the area a lot easier. Once we move it back to its respective area all the links will work again.

5. The Wiki: We will be booting the wiki back up and hopefully into full gear. Our goal is to have new articles every week barring nothing occurs within the team itself. (I.E. sickness, school, normal human things) This is to expand on the lore of Revaliir so you have a better idea of the world around you.
