The event has been upped from 100,000 to 500,000 because the system for some reason was doing 4k damage at 660 words – I'm going to have that fixed after the event but for now it's fine.

Update: I'm well aware that the damage isn't working but have no fear! BRITTLEZ SENT MESSAGES TO CODE MONKEYS! We'll make sure it's fixed for you. I'll extend the event depending on how long it takes to fix the problem. The drop rates are working though! CHEERS!

In order for the world to continue its current existence, a proper balance must be maintained: the  balance between light and darkness - the balance between good and evil.  Dalanesca has been granted the title of the Justiciar, being tasked with keeping this delicate balance in Revaliir.  From the Blinded Scales, Dalanesca oversees all that goes on in Revaliir, swaying its dwellers into light or darkness whenever necessary.  These sways come from Malum, the dark side of the scales; or from Sanctus, the side of light.  

Something has gone wrong in the Blinded Scales.

A crack has split the streets of Malum right down the middle, and unending streams of dark energy have been seeping out of the Blinded Scales and into the mortal planes of Revaliir.  Darkness has descended upon the world.  A strange sickness has been rumored to be popping up in numerous areas.  Reports of the afflicted having extreme strength coupled with dark black veins running through their skin have been heard. The afflicted seem focused on nothing but destruction and eradication, attacking anyone who they come across.

Dalanesca has come to the people of Revaliir with a plea - and the plea is to help rid Revaliir of the evil that has overtaken it, and restore the balance between darkness and light.

Objective/How to Participate: Restore balance to Revaliir!  Every IC post will lower the amount of darkness (the HP bar) present in Revaliir. This means that you may passively participate, but of course the event is more fun if you actively participate!
