Some of you may have noticed that, when you view a thread, there's a new button:


Watching a thread does two things. First, it allows you to view the thread on your Watchlist. This appears when you click on your username in the navbar, just below My Threads:


The threads with the most recent replies appear at the top of the list, making it easy to see what you haven't read yet.

Also, if you have email notifications enabled, you'll receive an email any time there's a reply to a thread you're watching, so you know to check on it. Going forward, you will only receive emails for posts on your Watchlist. This lets you be selective about what you're notified about, and only get the notifications you really want.

This feature is really handy for staying on top of your roleplay and important OOC threads, or for stalking your friends' threads!

If you decide you no longer want to watch a thread, view it, then click on the Unwatch Thread button:
