Charnear knew his sister would be angry with him for quite some time after the stunt he had pulled with the lasses he had bedded. Leaving her to deal with the angry mob probably wouldn't put her in the best of moods. Still…totally worth it.

Deciding space and time was needed he hired on as added protection for a cargo ship headed somewhere called Kurayo and was disappointed to found the captain hadn't brought his wife along for the trip. Cabin Boy it is then.

The trip was a long one. Long boring days broken only by sudden flurries of action where he got to show off his swordsmanship both in air and on ship. The nights were filled with different rotations of crewmen he had seduced warming his bed and keeping him in very good company.

They were just a couple of days out from port when like all good things his nightly bed rotation plans came crashing down around his ears. One of the midshipmen saw the cabin boy, cabin man really, leaving his room with a huge smile on his face and decided to get jealous. There would have been a serious fight on board if he hadn't demanded the rest of his pay and taken to the air and just flown the rest of the way to the port. Damn but that had been fun while it lasted.

Wandering the streets he checked out the many taverns but the ones he found were all too tame for his tastes, where was the raucous laughter? And why was it so dark?

He finally found what he was looking for down a side street. A slightly seedy tavern with the dulcet tones of loud feminine laughter coming from it. Finally. He barely jingled his coin purse and headed in that direction his step noticeably lighter a cocky smile already spreading across his luscious mouth.

Opening the door it was even louder inside tavern. He made note of the ladies watching him strut to the bar and order the finest ale. Turning his pale blue eyes scanned the room finally meeting the eyes of the finest lass in the place. She blushed at being caught looking but didn't look away and he smirked at her indicating his empty seat in invitation.

Life is a party. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad, oftentimes you're just drunk barely holding onto your lunch.
