Veronica had never seen such a city before, filled with beasts and outcasts like her. So many werewolves walked the streets as if their affliction was nothing and normal. She didn't know if she loved it or hated it. Sure she could relate to these people on some level but it would also make hunting people since they'd know what she was up to and how to stop her. Veronica had stayed in a musty tavern, inside it was so joyful and loud. Vampires, werewolves, elves and humans all drank and sang. She had slept all day long as she had arrived at the tavern a few hours before sunrise and was exhausted from traveling. She sat down at the bar where a few empty stools were. She didn't feel like talking to anyone at the moment. Her whole life she had no one but herself and since her…situation she had found it even harder to be happy or to feel any connection to anyone else. She had completely forgotten what it felt like to truly care about others. Perhaps here she could relearn all of that after all those people were so similar to her it was like there was a whole world of people like her. 

The bartender walked up a plump man with a large mustache. "What can I get for you?" He asked holding a mug he was cleaning off with a rag. "Ale." she said dryly. She rested her head on her hand. He walked off and her eyes slowly followed him as he walked off to grab her a drink. She let her eyes drift around the tavern. She analyzed each person her eyes landed on her wondering how easy it would be for them to become her next meal. It wasn't like she was going to kill them but it was more of a force of habit than anything.
