Feyre  pulled herself out of the water with his help and smiled at the feeling of water drops rolling off her skin. With a twitch of her pointed ears, she called at Vis.

"I'm going on a short walk. I'll be back" She yelled out quietly but loud enough for him to hear her. "It's a Fae thing"

She quickly turned and darted across the clearing and into the woods, breathing in deeply at the feeling of grass between her toes. She clutched the sword tightly in her hands for it was the only measure of protection she had.

Feyre ran between trees reaching her hands up to run them through the leaves. She circled back closer to the camp and leaned against an old oak, the camp still in view. Lost deep in thought and ecstatic from the nature, she didn't notice the bat above her until it landed on top of her with a vile shriek.

He stroked her cheek smiling, "surprisingly no, your shield really saved me in this fight" he replied kissing her longing her before wrapping an arm around her waist to keep her close, "I'm starting to think Julia is more important than just a trader's daughter, something that the bats want and something I couldn't deal with alone" glancing at her smirking easily pulling her onto his lap allowing himself to kiss her easier, "Plus I don't think having a hired merc would be this fun" he finished pushing against her with a sultry look.

A hour later he got out the pond with a slight shiver, "Maybe we should of waited after getting to the tent to do that" he dried off with his old shirt before offering a hand to Fey, "Not saying it wasn't worth it but unlike you I'm use to the desert not the never ending chill of autumn" allowing a smirk to escape him, before walking away with a wink, "Meet you in the tent" he chuckled a few days ago he wouldn't have imagined this to be one of the best weeks he could have imagined.

She cringed for him when he told her what the child said.

"Ouch. Let's hope she remembers her real father" She said, subconsciously moving towards Vis.

Feyre dipped her her hands into the water and ran them down her sides before wiping a spot of blood off of his face. She trailed a fingertip down his jaw and towards his neck, moving closer to him.

"Are you hurt?" She said, inspecting him with sultry eyes.

Running a small hand down his chest, she leaned in, her forehead resting against his chest before looking up at him, due to the large height difference.

Rolling his eyes with a small smile, he looked down to the young girl, her hair dirty and matted her head tilting up with tired eyes, Viserys chuckled "Lets get you to bed kid" he said picking the girl up with a small yelp escaping her mouth as he put her down in a sleeping bag in the tent, tucking her in Julia allowed her self to let out a loud yawn before saying, "Tomorrow can I learn how to use a knife?" Vis was shocked by her request but decided to nod kindly, she smiled drifting off slowly, "Night Night Daddy" she muttered causing the Gladiator to wince before standing at the tent door, "Night Kid".

He undressed walking slowly into the pond, walking up behind Fey allowing his hand the run through her hair, "She's asleep" he whispered close to her ear allowing his hot breath to run across her cheek before slowly sliding down into the water and beginning to wash the blood off his skin, watching with a smile as her pink hair floated in the water then his mind went back to the previous thought, "She called me her Dad… A simple mistake Im sure" his face with a look of distraught unable to be hidden the world.

Feyre was still breathing hard from the fighting, exhilaration bubbling in her stomach. She looked down when Vis spoke and let out a small laugh as she realized she was still naked and splattered in blood.

"I am rather comfortable" She said with a wink, picking up a stray throwing knife. "I believe it's time to put the girl to bed"

She nodded her head towards the child, who was starting to droop with exhaustion. Feyre walked to the pond once again, dissapearing from sight between the bushes. She knelt at the edge and began to wash her blades one by one.

"Join me when you're done playing nanny" She called out in a teasing tone. "You're covered in blood"

Feyre finally relaxed and dropped the magic shields she had put up around the two, already feeling lighter without the strain on her energy.

"Lycan!" he shouted as a hairless pale beast that looked more like a hunched wolf than a man crawled out from the bushes growling at Julia before charging, drool flowing from its jaw as it teeth met with hard leather as it bit down on Vis's fore arm dragging him into a pond, Julia's high pitched scream travelled far as the Lycan held the Gladiator down under the water, it only took a few minutes until a large sword pierced the beast's arm making it hiss in pain jumping back out far into the distance, allowing a beaten and torn Visery's to drag himself out the water.

He stared at the Crimson eyes of the beat before it yelled forming back into a man with pale skin and long dark hair, "You must understand Mr Serpentine" the man walked closer which resulted to the girl's guard to raise his weapon at the organised man, "People are like cattle and without order it all falls into chaos, Give us the Noble girl and we will pay you dearly" The gladiator seemed to wince but kept his sword up with a steeled look, "I don't know what the Traders daughter is so important but hell if I'm giving her over to you" he charged as the beast formed with bones cracking as its muscles ripped to grow larger allowing itself to retreat back from the slash getting cut deeply before walking back into the bushes with henchmen taking his place.

The fighting was long and tiresome but a beaten and damp looked over at Fey with a smirk before turning red on his face and covering the young girls eyes, "Fey, Honey you may have rushed to our side a bit fast" allowing his other hand to point at her predicament, his smirking returning winking.

Feyres ears twitched underwater as she picked up the faint sounds of battling. A shiver of thrill ran down her spine as she heard the sound of a blade piercing flesh. She rose from the water as silently as possible, and finally decided to use the magic abilities she was born with. Risking a glance at Vis and the girl, she threw up weak shields that would only protect them from flying weaponry. At least it was something.

Creeping beneath the ferns, water rolling of her bare skin, she focused her energy on her tent. Slowly using telekinesis, she lifted her sword and throwing knives. Keeping them low to the floor she brought them closer and strapped the small knives to her thigh. Still hiding in the bushes, she let two throwing knives fly, landing with a dull thunk in the skulls of tow vampires.

Feyre came flying out of the bushes, a wild grin on her face, as she slashed, hacked, and threw knives. This is the most fun she's had in weeks.

He sat leaning against a moist stump sighing in relief as he watched Fey walk out the tent sauntering towards the pond his smirk grew to look at her legs in adoration before noticing she was looking at him as she undid her dress, he quickly took a glance as Julia but she seemed not be able to see the ongoings, he looked back memorising her movements and shape, smiling back at her before she disappeared into the pond, he wished to follow her but if anything happened to the kid he would lose a lot of money from the job. With that, the sound of a branch breaking in the distance echoed through the clearing as crimson eyes looked back at him he sighed looking down at Julia, "get behind me" before he looked to the pond "Honey I think we have vistors?" he drew his bastard sword holding it with both arms, smiling into the darkness.

The first Vampire sprinted out teeth bared not even trying to capture the girl but going for her neck just as Viserys cut him in half mid jump allowing his torso to hit the floor and roll away before chanting the incantation and glowing slightly as his strength increases as he swings the bastard sword with one arm taking another one out, "How many are there dammit?" almost like karma even more Crimson eyes seemed to appear in the distance as the Gladiator let out a prolonged sigh.

Snatching a morsel of food from the hot pan with her fingertips, she popped it into her mouth earning a scowl from the girl. With a smirk of satisfaction, Feyre sauntered into the bigger of the two tents, stripping out of her armor and boots. She stepped back out in just her dress and began to scan the clearing.

Spotting what she was searching for, she made her way to the small pond hidden from view behind some ferns and cat tails, enjoying the feeling of the grass between her toes. She flashed Vis a sultry smile before slipping behind the greenery. Making sure she was where Vis could see her but the girl couldn't, Feyre shed her dress, and dived smoothly into the pond, lean muscles rippling as she broke the surface.

She allowed herself to sink to the bottom and stare up, enjoying the feeling of the water. Her heightened Fae senses helped her enjoy the water even more, allowing her to stay under for up to 5 minutes. She settled herself on the pond floor and began to count down the minutes.

He turned to stroke her cheek with a small smile before lightly kissing her, "I hope it will be, I just hope the Trader is there after all this" he spoke before his eyes going back to the daughter with a torn look, "It's been maybe a few weeks since I was given a Job and anything could have happened, She could be going home to an empty house" his mind drifted back to the Arena seeing the young boy clad in leather and cloth trying to lift a small steel sword to defend himself against his opponent, the heat that day was hot and the wind blew sand into everyone's faces he trained that boy till he was decent enough to fight gave him the name Jacob grew to think of him as a son of sorts but it was cut short, he winced at the memory of the boy clawing at his throat as a large man held him in the air, Vis shook his head wiping a hand down his face to remove the memory going back to looking out for danger.

The next hour was uneventful till the sun dipped over the mountain ranges in the distance and Vis suggested camping out in a large field that allows sight in all directions, he sat teaching Julia how to light a fire using a flint and steel and asking her to cook the food he provided to her before walking over to Fey and gently pulling her hood down whispering, "I've set up two tents" he smirked before kissing her cheek standing up scanning the area around the campsite he saw nothing of danger before he unbuckled his armour letting it drop with a sigh of relief.

She frowned as his hand intertwined with hers expecting something to follow before realizing that was it. He just wanted to hold her hand. The concept confused her but she had to admit she did enjoy the rough feel of his hands. Feyres eyes followed the smitten girl to the flower field. After an hour of listening to her fawn over Vis in her language, which Feyre still hasn't admitted to knowing, she was ready to throttle the girl.

Jealousy was not an emotion she was accustomed too, and only ever felt it when large sums of money were involved. She quickly learned that she hated the rabid emotion. Shaking her head and strolling towards the field with Vis, a smirk curled her lips as a rather crude thought passed her mind. She had the handsome gladiator warm in her bed all night and the smitten child slept alone.

Feyre turned her head and grinned up at Vis, her small fangs glinting in the light. "This will be quite the journey" She mused.

He nodded at her command, looking down at the kid from the corner of his eye, "Stay close to Julia" Julia smiled brightly pronouncing yes in her natural language before taking hold of Vis's hand, the gladiator shot Feyre a worried look mouthing to her "What do I do?" before looking around into the clearings making sure there was no metal reflecting or sounds of branches breaking, he may be used to the sound of cheering crowds or weapons smashing together but after years of eavesdropping for news of the outside world his ears have grown accustomed to quiet whispers and things not wanting to be seen.

An hour passes quickly frequented by small talk and Julia trying to teach Viserys her language resulting in poor results and badly pronounced words, before she spotted wild flowers on the side of the path and looking at the Fae and Gladiator with a sigh he spoke "Keep an ear out for anything dangerous and if you hear ANYTHING run as fast as you can to us" she nodded smiling brightly before skipping to up ahead, he walked forwards sliding his hand into Feyre's with a smile "If any chance this could be a peaceful journey to the Trader" he frowned glancing at Julia.

Feyre walked listening to their banter and smiled softly. The cobblestone roads soon gave way to dirt paths and she pulled her hood up over her head, focusing her hearing. Her pointed ears twitched, the rings in them clinking together, as she listened for any sounds of danger. Feyre kept her head down and one arm on her dagger, the other resting by the throwing knives strapped to her thigh.

She subconsciously threw up small shields around the group, giving them minor damage protection. You never know when a knife or arrow would find itself flying towards you, she thought.

"Stay alert Vis. We never know what sort of fun things are roaming these parts" She said throwing him a grin over her shoulder.

"Oh already calling me pet names now" he'd wink before continuing "Oh and I know your can Sailor speak from last night" the young girl look confused as she helped Vis put his armour on that had been repaired early that morning adding to the makeshift repairs done to the old chest piece, he looked at the young girl "I never asked you for your name kid?" he was curious since saving her he never asked once, she smiled tilting her head letting her chestnut hair fall to the side "Oui, Je'mapple Julia" she giggled from the confused look Viserys was giving her and repeated "Yes my name is Julia, I forget not a lot of people know my language" Vis chuckled simply helping the girl up with a hand messing her hair.

The scowl he had was quickly replaced with a smirk as she sauntered away from him he looked down at Julia smiling widely at him making a love heart with her fingers before being flicked in the head by the Gladiator "Shush it kid" he laughed as she giggled letting Julia run after Fey he checked everything was out the room before walking down to meet them outside the Inn, "It's a couple day walk down south, plus the kid made me promise to teach her how to fish, so two a half at most" Julia stuck her tongue out as she squeaked "Shouldn't be so bad at cards then" Viserys rolled his eyes hiding his smile before heading off down the road towards the forest.

"Honey, I'm fluent in sailor speak" Feyre said raising a brow and smiling.

She was all strapped up in her armor, hair put into a loose and messy bun, and cloak over it all. She strapped on her knives and walked to the door.

"I guess I could tag along for a while, until I find som work at least" She says smiling at him and the girl. "And you're both gonna need someone to protect you of course"

Feyre laughed and the scowl that plastered itself on his face and sauntered out of the room.

Vis walked towards her giving a pout before smiling "I preferred the other outfit" he whispered kissing her cheek before turning to see the yawning girl "Good morning, I expect your hungry after sleeping till Noon" the man smirked before handing her a plate of the food he just cooked, "We did a ton of stuff that should have woken you up, like sheathing my sword or jumping on the bed a Ton" he spoke before looking back at Fey with a wink, "But how about we get you home to your father?" the girl looked like she was about to cry before she clapped her hands and shouted "Oui! I would love to see him again" she quickly jumped out of the bed as Vis covered his eyes to protect him from the squeal and running to her clothes, he sighed "Jeez, I get all the hard work".

an hour later she was ready to go and Vis putting his backpack on looked at Fey "You are coming with us right?" he asked with a smile, "Nights sure do get cold and lonely around these parts" he said in a suggestive manner which went right over the Daughters head before he added "Plus if I spent a couple days walk with her she may need some woman to protect her from Sailor speak" he chuckled as the girl looked confused asking what Sailor Speak was.

Feyre laughed and walked back over to the mess of clothes on the floor, pulling out her dress and throwing it back on. She walked over to Vis and stole a piece of meat off the plate before walking over to where her armor lay.

"Don't worry. I have no interest in tainting the poor girls innocence." She said, throwing a glance at the sleeping child. "I still don't get how she slept through all that"

Still laughing to herself, she began to strap her armor back on, making sure to clang it so the girl would wake up and eat.

"Just some dried meat and bread I had in my backpack" he said while walking over kissing the back of her neck, running a finger down her spine "I remember having lashes, it wasn't the most enjoyable part, someone must have been a rebel" he whispered into her ear with smirk before walking back over to the fire taking glances at her slender body, even as he put the food on the plates handing her one he couldn't keep his eyes off her. "I guess this week is my lucky week" he chuckled at her before realizing "However I don't really want the Trader's daughter to have a heart attack" his smirk growing back "Or turn her into a lesbian, don't think the father would be too happy". The air in the room was peaceful a mixture of the charcoals smoke he was using and her perfume all mixed into one he wished it would never end let alone never smelling it again.

She woke up to the clattering sounds of the kitchen. Feyre yawned waking up and held the blanket to cover herself. She slowly got out of bed, still sore from the night before, and padded her way to the kitchen, dropping the blanket along the way.

Fae never had much shame anyways. She walked past Vis to her satchel, back full of scars on full display. The long, pink scars were about 6 inches long and there was 4 of them. On lashing for each time she disobeyed the slave master.

"Whatcha cooking?" She asked while digging some peppermint leaves for her breath out of the bag.

He smiled whispering in her ear "If you keeping doing that Fey, I might go Bezerk" he smiled slowly carrying her to the bed before dropping her on the bed kissing her holding her hands glancing at the reflection in window with his scars on show he didn't feel nervous or anxious because they went through basically the same thing as he cupped her cheek he undressed with a smirk.

He awoke the next morning with a groan looking over at the traders daughter still asleep, "Well I'm glad she slept through that" he chuckled to himself before getting up and dressing looking back at Fey's pink hair covering the pillows before walking putting the tea on the fire and gathering some food from his knapsack, with a smile he started preparing a simple breakfast enough for the day's work before waking the daughter so she could start eating and cleaning herself.

Her hands wrap around his neck as he lifts her up and she gasps when she feels his lips on her neck.

"You're very strong Vis" She says softly."It'll be easier in time"

Feyre snaked her hands up into his hair, her nails lightly brushing his scalp. She moved her hands curiously taking in his face and jaw. She put her hands on either side of his face and pulled him away so she could see his face better. With the tip of her fingernail she traced his nose, then his eyes, then his mouth.

"Fascinating" She whispers, as if in a trance.

Following her fingertips down to his scars he stroked her cheek with his thumb, "I had a teacher that was part Wyvern, he had me train under him, teaching me about magic and abilities beyond my age, when I started fighting he told me that to survive such attacks I had to let the Wyvern side of me out even if I didn't have the blood of one I could be like one, which gained me the name Bezerker, never taking my eyes off the opponent even after so many wounds were plastered on my body" he took her hand guiding it to a burn scar leading down the side of his torso "That's the last fight I had to under take to win my freedom, I fought my teacher, the man who taught me everything I knew and yet he didn't let me win he had me earn it like all the other battles I won".

He ran his other hand through her hair before lifting her up with one arm smiling at her, "They way heavy on me, knowing that the people I've killed had families maybe even kids but I stand here today because of that Old Wyvern and now I've gotten to meet you" he finished by kissing her neck allowing his hands to hold her by the waist.

She froze, unsure of what to do. Where should she put her hands? What does she do with her mouth? She's never done this before.

Finally Feyre relaxes and allows one of her hands to move up to his arm and trace a long, white scar with her fingernail.

"How did you survive all of this?" She asks, tracing another scar.

Sure Feyre had scars too, but they were small. Mostly knicks and bruises. Her true scars were hidden on her back, out of sight and memory.

He watched as she slipped from his arm letting out a little sigh before watching her walk to the stove, "I've heard people say one life for many" he looked at his hand looking at where the sword chaffs against it where it blistered and hardened over years of continuous use "But I'm starting to think I should have died in that Arena" he stood up shaking his head and walking over with his confidence back he shook his head "If I drink anymore I think I wont sleep" slowly taking her cup from her hands placing it down on the smooth counter before leaning closer to her placing a hand on her cheek, "Because as you said Freedom is a lot more expensive these days" he said before kissing her lightly allowing his forehead to lean on hers looking into her eyes.

Feyres cool demeanor was slipping. Fast. She could smell Vis with how close he was too her. The only time she's ever been this close to a man was to slit his threat. She clenched her fists, took a deep breath, and focused.

"Freedom is always worth more than we want to give" She said, slipping off the table and heading to the stove.

Feyre poured herself another cup of tea and looked back at him.

"Would you like another?" She asked holding up the teacup and raising a brow.

Vis leant over taking her hand and running his thumb over the back of it, "No one likes killing, but it's a duty some people have to do to survive, I kill because I need money or im in danger same goes for you since Fae find it difficult to get manual labour jobs this day and age im guessing odd jobs like bodyguarding and assassinations are really all that's left out there for you to get your money intake" he continued holding her hand looking into her pure black eyes with a smirk "I didn't escape, I was given one wish if I won a gladiatorial Competition, I killed over 100 men in the pits with no reward just for the entertainment of rich pigs just so I could win freedom, Who knew freedom costs 100 lives of good men" he put an arm around her not to try anything just to keep her close, he didn't like thinking about the lives he took that year some of them even helped him train or gave him extra food when he was younger the grimace of his face showed his pain at the memory.

She looked down at her empty hand and scowled.

"Well, I don't remember much but I was trained as an assassin. I used to work with an assassins guild until boss got too greedy. I didn't let him take my money so he sold me off to some slave monger-er. After a few weeks in that place I could hardly remember my own name" She said with a shudder.

Feyre was never shy with sharing her own story. Of course she didn't spill any details but the general image normally scared people far away from her.

"I never liked killing you know. But it's the only thing I know how to do…" She said before downing the rest of her tea and looking at Vis. "So how'd you manage to escape your Dominus?

Author: sircrumpet, Posted: Wed Aug 30, 2017 10:02 PM, Post Subject: A Visitor [O,R]

He looked down at his hand even it wasn't safe from the tally of scars on his body, her question shocked him at first but then again he felt like he wanted to tell her, "At bit of everything, When I was young I got forced into Slave Gladiator fights managing to survive and winning my freedom which is where I get most of my training from, since leaving I've managed to get a few manual labour jobs or Merc requests, sure I've been hurt a lot and I know the stories of all my wounds but the real issue is going half way across the known world alone" he chuckled "I know that sounds corny".

Vis sat up on the end of his bed looking at her "what about you? a simple street liver doesn't throw knives that well let alone have the courage to do it" he already knew the answer from the armour she wore down to the weapons she used she was the same as him a merc just looking for another job to allow her some food for the day, he stood leaning on the table next to her looking down at her hands "The hardened skin on your palms shows me you've trained with weapons" allowing a smirk to grow.

Feyre scooched farther onto the table and pulled her legs up under her, criss cross style, careful to make sure her dress doesn't hike up.

"Are you trying to make me jealous?" She teases, scowling at him playfully. "And thank you..again"

She studies him as he lays there, letting her eyes roam over him, noticing the many scars littering his body.

"So what exactly do you do for a living?"She asks, suddenly wary of her travelling companion and his mysterious scars.

As she waits for him to answer, Feyre runs a hand through her hair pulling it over one shoulder and sipped some more of her tea.

Viserys rolled his eyes drinking his tea with a smirk leaning back staring her up and down before putting his cup down running his hand through her hair carefully "I was thinking of way we both could survive back ache in the morning" he chuckled before gazing into her solid eyes "I know im not use to them, but your eyes are the most amazing things ive seen in this city so far, Well second to you" he allowed a wink to escape him before turning back to the bed laying down on it with a sigh, "and I have to say, I paid quite alot for the soft beds" he laughed kicking his boots to the bottom of the bed.

Feyre reached for the cup of tea and took a small sip.

"Thank you. For the tea and the compliment." She said smiling at him, surprised to see the big bad warrior feeling shy.

She looked at the bed and then back at him.

"I can take the floor. I'm used to it by now. You payed for the room, you take the bed." She suggested, sitting on top of the small kitchen table and crossing her legs. "I'll just ask for some extra blankets."

Taking another sip from her tea, Feyre allowed herself to look the man up and down.

"Oh and, keep the shirt off" She said playfully.

Author: sircrumpet, Posted: Wed Aug 30, 2017 6:18 PM, Post Subject: A Visitor [O,R]

He watched her with a smirk "If me being shirtless is so bad, I can always put the shirt back on?" he went back to making the teas pouring in the water and looking up to see her slide off the cloak she had been wearing all day Vis looked down to notice the tea was over filling putting it back on the fire, he kept watching entranced with her, the way her armour fitted or the way she moved with her hands with ease to undo the armour, he continued watching her hair being taken out of its bun letting it wave down to her shoulders, even the way she almost skipped towards him was beyond amazing allowing her hair to bob repeatedly.

Vis heard her say "is it ready" causing to panic and looking at the ceiling quickly almost spilling "Of course its ready, Yep here you go" he almost shouted before breathing calmly and looking back at her with a smile, "May I say I prefer your her without the bun" the gladiator said almost confidently "it makes you look alot more beautiful" he said the words with thinking and rose his hand to his neck rubbing it awkwardly "But of course, There are only two beds here" gazing into her eyes.

Feyre felt a blush spread over her cheeks and ears at his statement, and kept her chin down to hide it."Green tea?" He asked, and she lifted her hood and followed his voice. Her eyes widened as she realized he wasn't wearing a shirt and she quickly averted her eyes. "Oh…uh yeah. Please." She mumbled out, tucking her knife back into her cloak pocket. While waiting for him to make the tea, Feyre stood up, doing her best to not stare at him, and unbuttoned the brass clasp of her heavy dark cloak. For the first time that day, she removed the long fabric that kept her hidden. Beneath it, she wore the traditional Fae armor she left home in. An ornate silver chest plate that reached up to cover her throats rests over a dark green cotton dress. The dress reached her lower thigh in the front and brushes her calf in the back. Her legs are clad in armor that clasps around her calves. The sleeves of the dress reach her elbows and the rest of her arms are covered in silver gauntlets. The shoulder plates connect to the chest plate and a garter of throwing knives wraps itself around her thigh. Feyre drops the cloak onto the chair and begins unstrapping the armor and placing it on top of the cloak. Left only in her dress and bare feet, she pulls a pair of soft leather slippers out of her satchel and puts them on, sighing in relief. Finally free from the heavy armor, she practically skips to where Vis stands and reached up to pull her pale pink hair out of the bun it was in, letting it cascade over her shoulders. "Is it ready?"

Vis raised his eyebrow at her as she requested it, "What? Are you expecting me to strip naked or something, that's very forward of you Miss Feyre" he smirked before laughing taking his Armour and Shirt off dropping it over the chair and laying back on the chair in front of the window "And Trust me if it was that you wouldn't be the one giving the commands" he said calmly before watching the moon hang in the sky.

Thinking about how to present the daughter back to her father he got lost in thought going through the many options since it had been maybe two weeks since he last saw her, he should get her clothes repaired and new shoes to show that she wasn't harmed by him or anyone else and maybe even pay to let her use a bathhouse for only a few silver his thoughts were broken when a kettle whistled as he got up to pour himself a drink he asked calmly "Green Tea?".

Feyre slumped into the chair in the corner of the room, throwing her satchel onto the floor and kicking off her boots.

"Yeah, I can take first watch" She said, completely oblivious to his intentions, and hoisted her feet onto the small, round table.

Tucking her chin into her chest so that the brown hood covers her face almost completely, Feyre waved her hand at Vis in a "hurry up" motion.

"Go on and change or whatever you need to do. I can't see anything" She says, voice muffled by the thick fabric.

While she waited for him to start moving, she pulled the small throwing knife out of her cloak pocket and blindly twirled it between her fingers.

"Viserys Serpentine, First of his name, Son to a murdered man, Gladiator to the sands and all those titles really don't mean anything important" he smirked before continuing "But you can call me Vis like those magic crystals found in the caves around here"  he continued talking until he saw the moon start to rise in the sky out the window before standing offering the Fairy his hand "Well Feyre how about we take the kid and head to our room" nodding to the girl who had long since fallen asleep on the table allowing Vis to mutter the words lightweight before lifting her up onto his back as well.

When he walked in the room he laid the girl down tucking her into the thick blanket before turning to look at the woman with a smile "Fancy staying up to keep watch for Vampires?" his excuse to keep her awake was cringe-worthy even for him but he did want to learn more about the Fairy called Feyre even if it was a boring tale he wanted to know more about the person who saved his life.

Feyre dug into her food as soon as her butt hit the seat. At first, she was ready to tear off her hood and fight whoever questioned her, but soon realized it was more trouble then it's worth, so she kept the hood on and her head down.

She listened to the man talked and watched the girl giggle at his comment, resisting the urge to roll her eyes.

"Fey-ruh" She said annunciating both syllables. "My name is Feyre. Oh, and thanks for the food."

Feyre reached into her bag and pulled out a gold coin, placing it next to the mans bowl. She eyed her drink and reconsidered her earlier decision. With all the commotion in this place, she'll need all the help she could get to fall asleep.

"Whats your name warrior?" She asked, gazing up at him from under her hood.

Vis entered the bar hearing the commotion about fights, Vampire hating and drinking, the walls smelt of sweat and old beer he looked back at the Fairy before yanking her hood back up to cover her ears and hair "Just for safety, they might mistake you for a creature of the night, however the eyes are too cute to cover" he smirked before ordering drinks for him and the girl and plates of Stew of the day.

He sat in silence watching a brawl take place before drinking his rum with content "Sometimes I use to come here to do what them lot of men are doing, to show I was better than them all" he chuckled before looking at the fairy "You know you've yet to tell me your name and calling you out in front of a whole pub would cause quite a stir" his comment got a giggle out of the traders daughter before she went back to eating, it looked like the young girl had calmed down a lot since being kidnapped then saved in a rather gory method, he tapped the table "I didn't have enough gold for a proper room but there's a bench inside the room I'll use" he nodded almost politely even though his accent would never hide his rough upbringing.

Feyre let loose a playful grows at his sentence.

"I'm not a princess. Nor do I drink." She said.

Although she enjoyed the taste of alcohol, she never allowed herself to muffle her senses with the stuff. Too many enemies. She needs to be constantly alert, as she was now. Always bouncing on the balls of her feet, ready to strike or defend. Hands never stilling and always hovering over her dagger or straying to her satchel.

"But I can definitely go for some food" Feyre says with a smile, trying to lighten the mood and avoid scaring the girl.

Vis chuckled at her statement he always remembered being sarcastic in his younger days trying to get one foot ahead of the competition by tricking or annoying them enough they would make mistakes, he took note how her face seemed to become softer with the last part of the sentence he decided that even the sarcastic kind of person can have lapses of kindness his eyes grew focused onto her brow smiling at her struggle to stop herself from becoming embarrassed.

He rose his head looking at her with his Velvet eyes "Oh did I say that again?" he chuckled while helping the daughter up before starting to walk away signaling to the Fae to follow "Basically my mentor who taught me the art of magic was part Wyvern, he had a tale about how his mother bred a dragon I think when he finally died he was over 300 years old witnessed the fall of the Empires to the East" he was deep in thought walking towards the nearest Inn "Perhaps that's why I have an affinity with fire, it's because the person who taught me was a Wyvern, but no that wouldn't explain why I can't use Fire Spells" he looked up with a large grin "But before that, How about I drink you under the table princess?"

Feyres eyes narrowed at the tooth fairy comment and she was about to snidely comment back, but the man kept talking.

She heard him out and turned around to face him, mulling over his offer.

"I'm not exactly known for my smart decisions, but I've survived thus far. And as for why I was sleeping in the alley; it was dark, empty, and those cobblestones looked awfully comfy" Feyre said, voice laced with sarcasm. "But, I would appreciate a place to sleep"

The last bit came out softer than Feyre expected and she furrowed her brows and straightened up to gain some of her dignity back. Then her mind caught on something else he said.

"What do you mean by 'Wyvern Hide'?"

He rose his eyebrow when she mentioned the word Fae, weren't they fairies or something, he continued thinking how he's never seen a Fae before or even Fairy magic before looking back up at her walking away before mentioning "Pointy Ears and the eyes are very close to looks the Elven people share with your kind, a easy mistake to make for someone who has never seen a Fae" he smirked at her before following her towards the way she beckoned looking at the traders daughter making sure she wasn't wounded or bitten in any way before helping her up mentioning to her calmly that it was a long trip back to her a father.

Vis looked at the Pink Haired Fae "Why were you even sleeping in an alley way? can't you just magic yourself up some money? you know tooth fairy style" he smirk grew hoping to watch her grow annoyed at his connection to a kids myth before his face grew serious in the cold wind of the night "However what you did was rather dumb for someone of your age you should know to stay out of fights that could risk the innocents around them" he said finally realizing his wounds were still open and wincing as the adrenaline finally wore off allowing the pain to flood over his body causing him to curse deeply under his voice, "But since you did save my Wyvern hide back there, would you like an Inn room to stay in for the night?"

"Should I worry about you being an elf? Or something different?" The mysterious man asked gruffly after the fight ended.

Feyre rolled her eyes, slightly offended that he thought she was an elf of all things.

"Last time I checked, elves were tiny and pathetic. I'm Fae, though I wish I wasn't out in these streets." She growled out with a narcissistic smirk on her face.  "And you're welcome for saving your life, and the humans too."

Feyre took a few steps back and lined herself up with the alley entrance, she waved her hand and beckoned the human over, dropping her shields off the girl and placing them once again around herself.

"Oh, and thanks a ton for interrupting my nap" Feyre snaps with a roll of her eyes and a smirk that shows how much she truly loves to fight, or any trouble really.

He saw the glint of silver fly past his face hitting the bat making it scream in pain as it tried to leap away Vis slammed the sword down through its back making it squeals loudly into the night sky covered in wounds and grazes Viserys reached back getting the one handed war hammer from his back slamming it into the side of a Bats head making it collapse inwards at the sheer force wielding it. with a new found anger in his eyes, he stared at the girl nodding quickly then glaring at her "Stay with the girl, I can't risk someone being hurt by doing something stupid like you just did".

With that said he steel glare turned towards the remaining foes as he slowly dragged his hammer across the cobbled road, Gerad tried to scrape at the walls getting as far away from him as the lackeys jumped and dodged blows that caused cracks in the path, the more blows he suffered the stronger the swipes he seemed to take until one connected to the bats leg causing it to go a fall right angle before he finished it off with a sword to the chest, the wounds were taking their toll as the next strike made him stumble but still enough to kill the bat.

Putting his foot on Gerad his glare cold and unforgiving "I want you to go meet the deities and tell them, This was your fault" as Gerad begging continued Vis slammed the sword into his chest causing him to squeal in pain thrashing around until dropping loose to the floor, Vis turned facing the girl whose hood had fallen down why she saved him from an untimely death which he very quickly frowned at before smiling "That was risky and you should know better as a street urchin to be doing that thing" he looked her up and down taking notice of her pointed ears and bright pink hair, "Should I worry about you being an elf? or something different?" he asked almost nonchalantly taking a guess at her race.

It wasn't the yelp of pain or bat's growls that caused Feyre to stop in her tracks, it was the groan of pain from the good man.

She spun pun around and saw a stupid bat clawing into his wound. Feyre turned back to the daughter and made a split second decision. She removed half the magic shields from herself and placed them around the girl, and hid her in the back of a grimy alley.

Then, as fast as she could, Feyre ran back to help the mysterious man. Pulling the small, silver throwing knives from her thigh garter beneath her dress, she threw them one by one at the bat holding the man, all but one hitting the target.

He darted at the first armed Gutter Vampire striking through the poorly made weapons with his sword, his decision was not to maim or kill but if they kept pushing him any further and getting in the way of his goals, Vis knew he had made a mistake by rushing in using his spell and now only had a few minutes to defeat or silence the vampires due to his lack of mana.

Sparks flew lighting his face underneath his hood as he recoiled from Gerad's sword, the sparks lit up the shadows for the briefest of moments seeing a glimpse of light pink hair leaking out from strangers hood, Viserys panicked before noticing the Traders daughter was no longer bound but this lapse of concentration allowed the head bat to slice deeply into his upper arm which Vis responded to with slashing his leg open. With a cry of pain into the night, Gerad moved back with his lackeys taking up arms with fresh blood covering their mouths seemingly energized.

The fight stayed on in this stalemate with both sides showing tiredness, Vis knew all he had to do was distract the beasts enough so this mysterious stranger could get the daughter far enough away from the battle so he could make his escape, however as he was making his plan a shock of pain shot up from his forearm to find a thumb in it as he wrestled a vampire off his body, weak and the strength running out he was starting rely on skill and luck to keep himself from being injured mortality

Feyre jolted awake at the sound of voices, her pointed and pierced ears twitching causing the rings in them to clink together. She tuned into the conversation and her heart picked up pace when she heard the raspy voice of a vampire.

"Not so fast, I want to see them"  She heard the bat chuckle. "However, I have grown to be fond of this girl and might make her one of us"

Feyre's blood chilled and she slowly turned her head towards the voices, making eye contact  with a bound and tied young girl. Bringing her finger up to her lips, Feyre motioned for the girl to be quiet.

"All I need is the daughter"  A deeper voice mumbled. Feyre moved her eyes from the bound girl and focused on the tall male, who breathed a few words and his sword started glowing.

At first she feared she would be seen, but she breathed a sigh of relief when she realized that the glow didn't quite reach her shadows. It was at that moment that she decided to help out, only for the sake of the poor girl. Feyre slowly stood up and crept her way to the young girl while the man kept the gladiator busy. She pulled her silver dagger out of her boot and cut through the ropes, but left the gag in her mouth to prevent her from crying or speaking.

Viserys hated wearing this hooded cloak to hide his face but he was given a job that must be done to put food on the table, walking down the alley with the last of the flickering lights going out in houses, he knew that the man was supposed to be here and he detested that he was given the job not because the buyer was a Vampire more to the fact they had forced his boss into this deal by kidnapping his daughter.

He caught glimpse of the Vampire by the name of Gerad standing in the darker area of the alley his skin white against the moonlight and eyes tinted red from the hunger he had, Vis checked around him for sight of the daughter of the trader seeing her gagged and tied leaning on the wall, he winced knowing that his only mission was to get her home safely with or without the product "Okay Gerad, I'm here with what you requested, Weapons for your damn underlings and the food so let the girl go" Vis commanded with bravado and hand lying on his sword hilt.

"Not so fast, I want to see them" Gerad let out a chuckle as Vis threw the large sack of Red meat and New weapons with obvious disgust in his face at the sound they both made, Gerald clapped his hands eagerly with a smirk plaster across his pale complexion "However, I have grown to be fond of this girl and might make her one of us" He bared his teeth as his lackeys picked up the weapons and meat holding them menacingly aimed at Vis. "All I need is the daughter" Viserys then muttered something allowing his sword hilt to glow a dull yellow using the strength spell to increase his attack power and lighting the alleyway enough to see his attackers.

Feyre slipped past the looming sandstone cathedral and into a semi clean alleyway. Her heart pounded so wildly that she was sure it would break through her ribcage. She crept into the shadows, caused by the moon in this impossibly dark city. She has no idea where she is, but it's not the confusion that scares Feyre. It's the amount of wolves and vampires (or bats as she calls them) that she's seen. Fae have never truly gotten along with the more beastly species, although the aggression levels are the same in all.

Feyre didn't know where she was going, but she knew she didn't want to be here. She just wanted to find a new city to make some money in. Her heart begins to slow as she sinks to the floor and pulls her black cloak tighter around her, hiding her pale pink hair with the hood, and praying that she blended in amongst the shadows.

It was only once she sat down that the exhaustion hit her. Normally, Feyre could go a few days without much rest or food, but lately, she has always been tired and hungry. Maybe it's the fact that she's depleting her power and energy by keeping unseen shields around her.

With thoughts of wolves and bats on her mind, fear on her tongue, and a dagger clutched in her hand, she closed her eyes and fell asleep, completely unaware of the approaching footsteps.
