She smiled at the boy. "Its still me just in a humanish form. It will make it so i can show you as i teach." 

She started to stretch. "Though you may like to know how to make fire and hunt at least."

When Belphegor woke, the first thing he saw was the branches of berries. He stomach chose that time to make itself known, and he immediately tore into it. The fact that it could've been poisoned, came as an afterthought but he didn't particularly care. 

When he noticed the newcomer though, he barely managed to keep himself from choking.

"You startled me! Who are you?!" He asked in a rush as he wiped the juices from his mouth.

she was up before the sun and streached before leaving the cave. she eat some small animal covered in fer and found a berry bush and ripped a branch off before returning. she carefully placed it near the kid so he would have it when he awoke than backed up. She than turned to her human form with pure white skin and hair. she wore a simple robe with its hood up. she than crossed her legs and relit the fire and watched it as she wanted him to awake.

Belphegor nodded slowly with a yawn. He curled himself into a fetus position more out of comfort than practicality and watched the dragon until he slept. He had a dreamless sleep though that didn't discomfort him.

"your no truble to me and i am more than happy to help one that has a past like mine. tomorrow i'll teach you a few things but or tonight we sleep." the kid would need help learning how the world worked but she knew a few tricks. if nothing else the kid will be able to make fire and fish by the next moon. 

she was quick to sleep. her sleep was dreamless but it was strengthening.

"thats sad. trust me i know how being abandoned fills. cold nights and no food. but i survived and im sure you will aswell." she said than closed her eyes. "your welcome hear as long as you need."

Belphegor nodded solemnly before thinking back to the last few weeks.

"My mother took me out in the forest and left me alone. We traveled pretty far into the forest before she took the only horde in the dead of the night and left me with nothing. I was expecting her to abandon me eventually but that was….. abrupt you could say. I didn't think she'd ever leave me in the wilderness to die."

"there are few of us and it has been a long time since i have interacted with others so i do not know what they are like." she laid her head down. "as of family i never had one. i was taken as a pet when i was young but that was years ago and that was not a family relationship."

What happened to you hat got you lost in the woods cold and hungry" she asked it was one of the few questans she had.

Belphegor rolled over onto his stomach before staring at the dragon curiously.

"Are there a lot more of you? What are they like? Do you have family?" He asked cautiously in case he questions were deemed rude. He probably shouldn't have been asking personal questions right off the bat, but he couldn't help but sate his brimming curiosity.

"Its not that easy to explain. Treasure calls to us and we store it. its just what we do. Its in our blood." She watched as he laid down. She had never thought of the why cause it was just part of her nature and something that was near impossible.

Belphegor let out a faint smile at the thought."Whats so special about treasures? I never understood it. I always thought that dragons kept gold because they were greedy but you don't seem so bad."Peeling off his soaked shoes, he laid down spread eagle and watched the dragon as he waited for a response.

she watched him with joy. "This collection has taken me just over a hundred years." she was also unaware of there watcher. she almost let a laugh escape as she herd him say it was a lot. truthfully it was a lot but it was nothing compared to what she hoped it to be. "It has less than i would like and much less than i want to die with." she pulled her tail to were it curved around the fire so that it would reflect the heat back on the kid.

Belphegor, unaware of their unexpected guest, all but threw himself into the fire. He had spent too many nights cold and in the dark to pass up this oppurtunity. He was attempted to take of the top layers of clothes so they could dry, but it couldn't hurt to keep it on a little longer. 

"Hold long did it take you to collect all of those?" He asked while glancing at them with awe. "It's a lot."

Shadow hides on the branch of a tree a couple of yards from the entrance of a cave. He knew not why he was here, just that he had felt an energy coming from this direction. An energy similar to his own. Upon getting a visual he saw two beings, one being a human, a child by his looks, and something completely different, white and tinged with blood. He decided to stay back and watch for a little bit.

It was amusing watching the boy play in the water. "I have been on my own for years though i do get guests every once in a wile." years was an understatement but she liked to think it was less time than it actually was. She again looked at the sky. they did not have long tell dark. She would be fine with that on her own but every thing in this aria at night loves to eat easy catches like the boy. "Come I have clean water in the cave. and I'll get a fire started once were there." She stood up and waited for the boy to get out than slowly walked to her cave. it was a short walk so they arrived rather quickly. She hacked up a spit ball than lit it on fire once they were a good ways in the cave. Her treasures sparkled in the light turning the hole cave golden with the reflections. she laid down a few feat from the fire on the entrance side of the cave.

Belphegor, excited at the sight of water, immediately immersed himself into the stream fully clothed. He had only just surfaced in enough time to hear her question. Pushing his now wet hair back, he knew he would regret it later with the tangles set in.

"About 2 weeks? I don't know. I lost track after about the 4th day." 

After wading through the water a few times,and drinking a few gulps uncaring of the cleanliness of the water, he floated on his back for a while.

"How long have you been alone?" He inquired, while looking upside down.

she slowed a bit to let the kid catch up. "Belphegor. nice name." it was not long before the stream appeared. it moved slow witch made it almost soundless. She walked in to the water and started cleaning the blood from her back and face. once clean she stepped out and flapped her wings to remove any of the water. Than shook off the rest. She than laid down and watched the kid. "So Belphegor how long have you been alone?" She survived a month before meeting any one and nearly starved in that time.

Clutching the bread firmly, Belphegor stumbled after her to keep up with her pace. He didn't want to lose the new stranger/acquaintance any time soon. The isolation was starting to make him crazy and he knew he wouldn't survive long by himself.

"My name is Belphegor. But some call me Belphie…."

It was funny the way he tossed the bread as if it were a spider than cault it. She smiled at his reaction. "I have had many names but the most resent is Vinsue. and what is yours?" A cool breeze cault her attention so she looked at the sky. it was getting late in the day. "Come." she said as she stood up. "Lets get you washed up than a place to sleep." She felt bad for the kid and wanted to help. she knew were a stream was and had a nice cave to sleep in. she turned and started walking towards the river.

Belphegor craned his neck to stare at the tall dragon as she approached. When she closed her eyes in concentration, he was contemplating asking her what she was doing when the bread of loaf appeared in his hands nearly giving him a heart attack. He  barely managed to catch the bread as he reflexively tossed it away from him.

"Th-Thanks…. What's your name?"

Vinsue got up and walked to him. She closed her eyes remembering an old spell. she than opened them and looked at the boys hands. A small loaf of bread now sat in his hands. "Eat." she said as she laid down beside him. "I'm sorry you mom left you hear." she thought that humans were more protective of there kids but he was prof that that was not the case. "I was kicked out of my home when I was around your age and I have survived. i could not fly much less fead my self at that age and almost died a few times." She watched the boy as she pushed back the memories of hunger and fear.

Belphegor had nothing to say to that statement and decided to sit. The dragon wasn't going to kill him,Andheri didn't have energy to waste standing. Laying his head against the tree he began to watch the dragon curiously.

Vinsue heard the boy was abandoned and felt bad. She was abandoned, well tossed out at 16. She was a hatchling at the time that did not know how to hunt, fly, or use her breath power, coarse that was around 184 years ago. In a few bites her kill was gone except for some bones blood and fur. She thought about his question for a bit. “I was in the aria cause this is my hunting grounds and I was hungry. I’m hear cause I heard a scream and got curious.” She laid down and half spread her wings so they would catch the sun and help her digest. She than cleaned her fount legs and face. “Talking of the scream, it almost sounded like you gave up on life. Trust me it is hard for a bit but it gets easier as time passes.”

Flicking his messy hair behind his shoulder he straightened up as if that could hide his fear. Clearing his throat he responded with a raspy, "My mother left me here….." He trailed off as the dragon bit into the dead carcass.

"W-what are you doing here?" He asked to fill the silent. The sound of torn flesh and cracking bones irked him.

She snorted at his comment. "That and the fact your starved and need a bath are obvious. my question was why cry." at the word bath she realized she needed one and started cleaning her face and limbs. she noticed the boy was staring. most two leggeds do that and she was use to it but still did not like it. "Well talk."  She walked over to her kill and started eating it before the wolves or some other animal did.

Belphegor flinched hard at the unexpected voice, nearly pulling out the matted strands of hair. He quickly wiped his tears and turned around to face his questioner, but when he realized it was a dragon he cut himself off with a squeak. 

He may have seen dragons before, but he never been this close to one, let alone speak with him. It was obvious the dragon meant no harm, but it's size and blood soaked scales made him uneasy.

"I-I…. I'm just lost." He said only telling the half truth.

Vinsue had been hunting all day and had just killed a dear when she herd a yell. She was curious to find the source but knew not to leave her kill. She grabbed it by its neck and slung it on to her back. Her wight scales were now red from its blood. She turned and started walking in the direction of the scream. 

after a little time had past she found a young boy with his head on a tree. She dropped her kill and walked up to him. he was sad and seamed ready to cry. "Whats wrong" she asked in her softest voice. she stood only a few feet away but gave him some room.

Belphegor was feeling many things; anger, sadness, betrayal, and hungry.

His mother always threatened to leave him, but the bitter feelings still hit hard.

She was his everything.

She took care of him, fed him clothed him, and taught him everything he knew (which wasn't much). She may have not been the best parent (many called her obsessed and insane), but she was the only person in the world that even vaguely cared about him. Without her, he was just a weak little boy with nowhere to call home. 

He lost track of how many days it has been since she left him here to follow him.

The one he would call father. As much as he wanted to blame him for his predicament, he knew his mother was to be blamed.

With a frustrated scream, Belphegor kicked a tree but only managed to hurt himself. Thumping his head against the innocent tree, tears began to well up in his eyes.

He hadn't seen any other people for a while and he had no clue as to where he was.

Is this where I'm supposed to die?

He thought to himself as he idly began to pass his hangs through his long hair.
