Through the door stepped a young looking woman. Her hair covered by the hood of her simple brown robe. On her shoulders sat two whelps. one white with some black and the other black with blue striped wings. She made her way to the bar and ordered an ale. course her presence in the place did not go unnoticed by a group of pirates near the door.

The group, of course, got up and surrounded her as she stood there. The two dragons leaped onto the counter turned and hissed at them.

Ranlith had been waiting in this tavern for the better part of three days now. Every day he had got up walked into the bar ordered a spicy cider and sat in darkest corner. He would nurse that cider till the bar closed. Ranlith was waiting for someone. He was waiting for someone with information for him. The man in the town over had told him, his friend would meet him in 2 days time, about how long it would take for the friend to travel to the famous winking mermaid where he now sat. Ranlith grimaced, not for the first time, as he thought of the fact that the man had simply taken him for his money, but he was rather impulsive when it came to the information that he sought. The man had provided no imframation on the informats apperance, simply stating that they were a person of magical power.

His head snapped up as the door creaked open, and his eyes narrowed as he took in the person who had entered. the door addmitted another pirate through and Ranlith shook his head in disgust. Groaning, he stood up finally acepting that he had simply lost the money to buy that nice magic book in the shop down the street. As he depostited the emplty glass onto the bar counter and tossed the serving girl a coin though his head snapped up again. He felt in his mind the soft presense of magic power slowly making its way up the street torwards the bar. slowly he melded back into the shadows of the corner and waited.

the presence stopped infront of the door, hesitated as if nervous, then opened the door.
