Race: Lycan
Gender: Male

Sitting by his lonesome, Krystopher felt as though he was a shell of his former self. It hadn’t been too long ago since he had awoken in the middle of nowhere instead of in the realm that Moliira had ruled. Once ruled, as he would painfully become aware of when he started to look for her. A letter had been left for him and once he read it, the lycan put the context clues together and came to the conclusion that like many before her, she had stepped down. It pained his recovering heart to yet lose another person near and dear to him. His first love had been long gone yet he still felt hurt by the severing of their connection. Their child had yet to resurface since he came here, and he had felt hopeless at ever finding his daughter again. His sister was no longer among them and now Moliira was gone.

Such continuous pain would have drove any other man into madness, but he had been there before and had no in intention of ever doing it again. He had embraced the darkness when he had lost his family the first time and it would take years and severe consequences to break the habit for him. Krys would not put himself or the remains of his family through it once more. But that didn’t mean that he wouldn’t grieve in his own fashion. For a the better half of a week, he had occupied himself in the Winking Mermaid, spending his time sleeping or drinking downstairs. Company was not welcome by any means as he shunned any friendly men or women that came his way. Streetwalkers would come along every once and awhile and he practically ignored them or scared them off with wolf like growls. Krys just wanted to be left alone until he could start coming to terms with his life.

As he remained, he had saved the long hair he normally kept on his head. Krys felt like changes were in order, and if there was one thing that he was slowly getting accustomed to was that of adjusting, for better or worse. Today was just another step towards it as he sat alone in the corner table, far from the other patrons. A couple of bottles were around it, empty and cleaned out and he was working on the latest one. The heavy stench of alcohol covered both him and the trench coat he wore.

Vinsue may not have her powers at the moment do to the shiny neckless around her throat but that in no ways meant that she was helpless or harmless. it cost her a lot to get the new robe that matched the old brown one that had been destroyed in resent fights. She had its hood up to hide her hair and some of her face.

she had was mad at the moment and was looking for a good bar that many of her old 'friends' would not be at but so far she was having no luck. she noticed the man and how pathetic he looked. she just kept walking as to keep from being stopped. she may have lost all her magic and heritage but she still had pride and dignity. seeing a bar that she had not been in in mouths she decided to go in and ordered an ale. she just hoped it would be worth the two coins she payed for it.

Krystopher didn’t care who came into the tavern; day in and day out people came and went bearing no importance to him in any regard. They would do their business and leave him be and in return they went largely ignored by the lycanthrope. The only ones he actually paid some attention towards was that of the barkeep and the barmaids. One of the latter came his direction, careful to maneuver over some of the empty bottles that were. Dull eyes barely lifted themselves up to look at her. “Two bottles of Black Pearl Whiskey.” The words slipped out from his mouth before handing her some coin. Though they were all aware that he had been consuming plenty of alcohol in the last few days, he was still a paying customer. She nodded and went on her way while Krys leaned himself back against the chair and hazily watched a woman come into tavern. Just like the rest, his attention easily drew away from her and onto the collection of bottles around him, picking them up one by one to see if there was anything left in them to drink.

“Eh, lookie here boys!”

He recognized the voice but paid it little heed. It belonged to the leader of the local troublemakers. He came over with three brutes as they surrounded his table and the leader he came to know as Naze turned a chair over and sat next to him. “It’s that drunk fella. What’s on today’s menu, friend?” Krys didn’t answer him and when the fresh bottles arrived, Naze took them before he could. “Oh…Black Pearl…that’s a lovely little quencher. A bit lovely for you anyway.” His boys laughed and he gave a snide chuckle. “Think we’ll be enjoying it on your behalf then.”

He chuckled some more until he heard Krys say something in a low voice. “Sorry, didn’t hear ya. What you say?” Krystopher had his eyes on him; no longer were they dull as they had been. Instead there was a seething rage behind them, almost feral like. “Give it back.” Naze leaped up and backed off while his boys were getting ready for a fight. “Give it back!” Rising up, he kept repeating the words over and over as his form started to shift. Within time, a large black wolf stood where the man had once been and all four of his terrorizers looked on with horror as it growled dangerously at them. “Okay mate, he…he…here…” Naze went to placed the bottles back when they accidentally slipped and landed onto the ground, shattering into pieces and alcohol. The wolf looked down at his drinks and then back at the leader with eyes that whispered hatred onto him. Climbing up onto the table, Krys’ hairs stood on the back of his neck demanding payment or blood.

By now, Naze’s men were tripping over themselves in trying to get away and he did so as well before the lupine leaped onto his back and lowered his maw at him. “Please! Let’s be rational about this, friend”. Krystopher was beyond reason at this point now; he didn’t feel like being human and having compassion- he wanted to be a beast and indulge in the pain.

She watched as the man turned and jumped. she was ready to smell the blood and see some pore bully be put in his place but it was against what she stood fore to let someone else fight when she could not. "miss will you bring me what ever the wolf previously ordered."  the weightier had shown she herd but turned back to see what was about to happen. "Hurry I will handle it just I need you to do what I asked."

Vinsue got up and walked over to the wolf. "off him now" She ordered and crossed her arms. she was more than ready to face him if he turned. power radiated off her even if she could not access it. her eyes narrowed almost to slits. She was not looking for a fight and at this moment hoped not to see how well she faired without being able to use magic. "Your order had been replaced. now calm down. and get off him. " Her voice was firm and unchanging. She was Dragon blooded after all and a mar wolf would not change her passion or heritage.
