A young elven man, dressed in all black walked through the crowded streets, a dark hood covering his face as he maneuvered his way through the crowd.  he was a master thief and assassin, armed to the teeth with blades, poison and other tools of subterfuge. his armor was black leather, with plates of steel integrated for extra protection.  holsters for throwing knives and poison bottles and smoke bombs were sewn into his cloak to provide easy access.  The people stared at him as he walked through the bustling market, It was mid-day and the market was full of people.  Humans selling everything from food to horses, Dwarves selling more practical items, including weapons, armor and tools.  Elves selling flowers and herbs of all the colors of the rainbow. The young man approached his target, a wealthy human selling elven girls into servitude. “Yes folks, step right up, I have some fine specimens this day! Girls of all shapes and sizes to fulfill all of your needs!” The young elven man, who looked to be about 2 decades old, scoffed at the remarks.  “Specimens?” What right did this human have to sell living, breathing elven girls into slavery.  the young man clenched his fist and stepped forward, walking with a purpose toward the heavyset human.  He drew his hand-crossbow from inside his cloak and drew it, firing a single bolt that penetrated the human's chest.  He dropped to his knees and collapsed in a pile on the ground in front of the girls. A shriek broke the murmur of the market and someone in the crowd called for the guards. Drawing a small knife from in his boot, the young elf freed the girls, just as the guards were arriving.  The elf took off in a flash, darting through the crowd like a shadow.  He had evaded capture many times and knew exactly where to hide to avoid detection.  he darted into a back alley and began removing his armor.  slipping into some old cotton garments that would disguise him as nothing more than a peasant farmer.  he threw his bag that held all his equipment over his shoulder and pinched a rake from a nearby shop and walked out of the alley. the guards and the people unaware that the simple elvish farmer that walked among them was the same assassin that had taken out a slaver minutes before. A bushel of red feathers lie where the human's body sat, a reminder of those responsible for the man's death
