The morning sun was out and yet it was cold. He had not expected such weather. Sandawe Savannah was warm during the day and cold at night. Fortunately for him, a kindly tailor was able to make proper winter clothes for him. The price for these clothes were not too expensive. His chest now had a long sleeved shirt and he had some soft cotton trousers. On his feet were bandages wrapping up the center of his feet. The tailor had offered some large shoes but Kagiso refused. Shoes were difficult to walk in and his feet was built to be tougher than most other species’ feet. A cold wind blew his soft fur about as he continued walking through Adeluna.

Suspicious eyes were gazing at him. Hardly anybody here had seen a twa. Onnen had only been revealed to Canelux recently. The people here had not gotten the chance to see these new species. Kagiso had become accustomed to such strange looks over the years, although for different reasons. In his left arm was a pile of posters that a friend had made for him back home. To his left was a wooden wall that seemed to block off an old alleyway. He walked up to the wall and took out a nail out of his bag along with a hammer.

With a few strikes of the hammer, Kagiso was able to put up a poster on the wall. In the center of this poster had a cup of tea painted on it with some words written around the cup. -Do you need somebody to listen to you? Would you like some warm food and to talk to someone? If so, please consider taking up these therapy sessions. All of your information will be private and you will be in a safe place.- Below these words were the location that one would go to for these sessions.

Most twa would never bother with such a profession. And yet here Kagiso was, trying to get a few clients. He smiled softly. There were so many people who needed therapy and didn’t know it. Therapy was one of those things that everybody needed. They could live without it but with it, they could improve in vast different ways. Improvement wouldn’t be quick and might take many years to happen. And it would be up to the person to take the effort to change. But therapy would help. He continued on down the street. A pair of small hands suddenly snatched his tail. Pain ran through Kagiso’s body as he turned around to see a small child. The child’s mother realized what her child was doing.

“No Valia! Don’t do that.” The mother said, “You don’t know where that thing has been.”

Kagiso felt a bit of pain in his heart now. Before he could say anything, the mother pulled her child away and began walking as fast as possible. Did people here really consider him a thing? This type of behavior was expected, after all even in the tribes they had terrible names for each other. But the tribes and even the insectoids all had history together. This woman was a complete stranger. Would clients decide to leave because he wasn’t human? That was a possibility. However, those who didn’t mind his appearance, he could help. The ones who didn’t like his appearance mattered less.

Kagiso put up posters up on abandoned walls and asked storekeepers if he could put his posters up. Some of them liked the idea, some of them didn’t. Eventually Kagiso was almost done. He only had two left. Hopefully he would get clients soon. Adeluna seemed to be a lovely place, but having a home with an office was somewhat pricey. Kagiso could afford it at the moment but silver didn’t last forever. Cold weather was coming. Wood for the fireplace, bags of tea, blankets, pillows, and many other things would be required along with warm food for any of his hungry clients. Besides the money, Kagiso really wanted to help the people here. Money was just a tool to do that.

Character Info
Name: Raphael de Montefort
Age: 16
Alignment: TG
Race: Atavian
Gender: Male
Class: Winged Knight
Silver: 22
Raphael had taken to sneaking out of the noble district every now and then, when he had downtime between his duties as a squire. It pleased him to dress as a commoner and walk among them, to take in the sights and sounds of the city and experience it as they did. His father would surely disapprove, he knew, thinking it dangerous, but he was never truly alone. His companion and bodyguard Anguy was never far. Oftentimes Raphael would find a tavern or street corner and play his harp, singing along to the mournful tunes. He would leave a hat out that passers by might throw coins into as he played. It amused him to see how much he made after a session of play. Most times he would give it all to some beggar he'd find in the streets, though one time he brought Anguy to a winesink and got the both of them well and truly drunk.

This time as he strolled down a busy boulevard a poster on an old wall caught his eye. What it offered was unique and most interesting - someone who would simply listen to you. Raphael had never experienced such a thing before. He was always listening to others. To his father and his knights, his tutors… Always staying quiet and courteous at Court and in public. He was always listening, but never had a chance to speak. He wasn't even sure if he could put words to the things that bothered him inside. The thought made him somewhat anxious, but he couldn't quite shake the feeling that this was what he needed to do this time. In any case, it'd be a nice change of pace from singing on some corner.

So the young nobleman made his way to the location provided on the poster - a small home nestled in a residential district deep within the city. He hesitated a moment at the threshold, wondering if it was wise for him to be doing this. What was he doing here? What was the point? He nearly turned to go… But in the end, he decided that after coming all this way he had to see what was beyond.

So finally, hesitantly, he knocked on the door. "H-Hello?" he called as he knocked again. "Is this the place for the therapy sessions?" The lad waited at the doorstep, wondering if someone would even answer the door.

Kagiso headed home. He had put up all of his posters. Hopefully he would be able to get a client. Walking over to the closet, he took out a broom to sweep up his living room. The house was very small. It used to be a shop of some kind. The bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen were all upstairs while the downstairs was just a single room. When Kagiso first bought the house it looked like a shop. After taking out the counters and filling it up with furniture, it felt more homely. A red rug was spread on the floor. There was a warm fireplace with a couch a safe distance away. In front of the couch was a small wooden table and to the right of the couch was a comfy chair for a therapist to sit in.

A dark wooden desk was on the left of the room while the fireplace was on the right. At the back of the living room was a large bookcase filled to the brim. Colorful books ranging from history to biology to fairy tales sat upon the shelf. A chest sat next to the bookshelf that was locked. He finished sweeping his living room and put away the broom in the closet. The only doors were the entrance doors and the door to the stairs that led upwards. Someone knocked at his door. Kagiso calmly walked over to the door and opened it.

"Hello."
He said with a friendly attitude, "This is the place for therapy. Please come in."

Kagiso opened the door for Raphael then walked over to the desk. He picked up an empty book and a quill.

"Please, have a seat."

The Twa gestured to the comfy couch. He walked over to the door to close it.

"I will need to tell you some things before we begin." Kagiso explained as he walked, "I would like to inform you that all information spoken here will not leave this room. It is your privacy and I will not reveal any information unless you request me to do so. If you are concerned about my promise, I am willing to sign any contracts or use the Gaes spell if you feel the need."

"I would also like to make it clear that I am not here to judge you . I am here to listen to you and to help if you will allow me to do so."
He explained.
