Cedric was about to execute his infiltration of Adeluna, after everything he's done, he should've been kicked out long ago, but he wasn't, he still needed to get one of his belongings. Cedric sped towards the wall, climbing it quickly. He hid in the shadows, barely avoiding the searchlights. He pulled a guard from the shadows and threw him off the wall before swiftly shifting to the other side of the wall, unfortunately, he hit the wall too hard and it made a sound, a guard went to investigate but when he got there, Cedric was already gone, he had dropped to the other side a bit, but not too much so that he could hold onto the top of the wall and he successfully slid towards the back of the guard and he stabbed him in the spine.

Cedric pushed the guard onto the searchlight to stir up chaos, the guard fell face first onto the ground as the searchlight was closing in, guards rushed to his aid, but he was already dead, they rang the bell, alerting guards to stay alert and search for the intruder, Cedric climbed down the wall and dropped into a bush, the ruffling sound the bush made made nearby guards suspicious. Cedric crept out of the bush, trying his hardest not to make a sound, the guard had inspected the bush and no one was there. Cedric had made it down into the main city, but guards were still on high alert. Cedric sped through the city, the noise of the boots hitting the stone ground alerted guards and they soon knew where he was, but he continued on, he climbed on top of a roof and slashed at the guard, blood flew around like strings, he jumped off the falling corpse of the killed guard.

He landed on top of a guard, but didn't quite kill him, a searchlight reached Cedric and an arrow found its way towards Cedric's right arm, he yanked it out, causing blood to gush out. The intensity of the moment had made Cedric reckless and ignorant of his injuries. He eventually reached the place he was looking for, his old home. Cedric burst into the house, and then barricading the door with furniture, but he found the place ransacked with a note he hadn't seen nailed to his door it read "This establishment is to be demolished after searching and confiscating everything of value inside the property and around the property. -From the highest order" Cedric tore the note from the door and he stuffed it into his pocket. He checked his drawer, it was gone, the journal recording all the forbidden spells his father had discovered. Cedric swore to himself.

"Now, if this note did truly come from the highest order, then all they confiscated must be in the palace" Cedric thought to himself, he was about to infiltrate the palace, his stupidest, yet bravest action as of yet. Cedric snuck out of his own house and made his way towards the palace, the guards were still searching for him but this didn't discourage him, he eventually made it to the grand structure, it was heavily guarded, as expected. Cedric clenched his fist and he turned invisible, he hadn't been using invisibility because "it won't be as fun" but this time it was necessary. Cedric took a rock and he climbed the palace walls, he rested on a windowsill for a bit before reeling his hand back with the rock and smashing it, but he noticed a crease in the windows, they were open, he opened it slightly and he crept in. He had to find that journal before the secrets were revealed, problem was, Cedric didn't know where to start looking..
