A surprise did sound good night now, seeing as Darkhor was acting as if on the verge of breakdown again. Synthesis grinned and flased Alistar an encouraging smile of gratitude. He was a weird individual but she now reconised that he was a good and hard worker. She scooped another load of food up and moved it towards Darkhor's mouth while similtaniously daring to feed herself another forkful with her other hand. Raukaas looked happy enough despite the grim topic, muching on the hot dish and grinning at the sight of his father being fed by a multitasking girl many years younger than him.

"Well, the time to start with this is now! Once you gain confidence you can do anything! So, I guess I'll put that upon myself as well. I'm a great teacher. At least that's what all the prisoners said." He smiles innocently before picking himself up with his plate. "I'll be back, is there a dish that needs to be taken back to the kitchen? I'll be perfectly willing to take it. And, I'm making something else! Don't ask because it's a surprise." Alistar exclaims cheerfully, smiling so widely he looked insane.

The Drakkollis got smacked in the back his head suddenly and was told to swallow his pride. Darkhor started to whine and whimper almost going to start crying again then Synthesis took his and tried feeding him, he tilted his head looking at everyone else awkwardly then sighed taking his first bite.

It was spicy just like he expected it to be and went in for a second bite., "
I'm sorry… I… I sometimes don't know when to ask… It is all my fault I let my son's illness continue because I couldn't bring myself to ask for help until it was almost too late… He could've had died…"

Alistar smacked the back of Darkhor's head. "Have some manners! And don't be afraid to swallow your pride and ask for help! Now, I hope you all enjoy it. And if you want anymore you just need to ask!" Alistar smiled, taking a bite of his food. "I forget what it's like sometimes to have a cooked meal. My traveling mostly made sure of that." Alistar sighs. "But, every once in awhile it is great to have. Especially when it is spicy, those are the best!" He says cheerfully, his face red from heat.

Author: Illusory Angel, Posted: Sun Jun 18, 2017 3:55 PM, Post Subject: A Cure For a Child (O)

Synthesis nodded. "Yes, Alistar, it is very good. I've just got quite a low tolerance to spicy food." She promptly took another large gulp of water to sooth the burning in her throat. She bad probably drunk just as much as she had eaten of this meal and was beginnig to fill up with it. Unpon hearing the fallen angel's suggestion, the girl turned and took Darkhor's fork. She got a large shovel of food on it and carefully raised it up. "Here Darkhor, open wide."

This would give Alistar a chance to eat and her a chance to let her food and water go down while her mouth recovered. When Alistar was done, he could take over from her. She smiled faintly as she thought that it was the farther, not the son, who needed feeding.

Darkhor just grumbled, "No…" That was the only word he muttered and lowered his head. His long tongue snaked out and started to lick his food.

The next moment he had head down lower and chomped bites out of the food like an animal refusing to use the cutlery. Darkhor didn't say anything at all.

Raukaas immediately turned his head sniffing the air and yelled, "FOOD!!!" The young Drakkollis took his pets and Son a to the table sitting down.

He quickly started digging into the food and eating not bothered by the heat, "It's DELICIOUS! THANK YOU thank you!"

He was very excited then stopped noticing his father looked down and then talked very quietly, "Is dad ok?" The little Drakkollis reached over and poked him in the shoulder.

Alistar sighs, staring at the Drakkollis with a hopeless look on his face. "Do you need some help? Cause I could, after I get Raukaas and Sona." Alistar looks around for the two. After a fruitless search, he just decides to yell. "RAUKAAS! SONA! FOOD'S READY!" He yells, getting back to the two eating. "So Synthie? How is it? If it's spicy that's what I was going for. Now, what was I doing?"

Author: Darkhor Saurguse, Posted: Sun Jun 18, 2017 2:14 PM, Post Subject: A Cure For a Child (O)

Darkhor sniffed the food but first used the water given to him rinsed his mouth out before he got up and sat himself down at the table. Picking up a fork and a knife he struggled the same manner of how the Drakkollis ended up nicking his finger.

He made another attempt then at the third try Darkhor gave up almost immediately and hung his head down in frustration. The Drakkollis didn't look up and grumbled thinking about how he wished the other Drakkollis where there with him.

Synthesis nodded and moved to take her own plate. The food genuinly looked quite nice. She went to flop down in her chair and placed her meal on the table ready to eat. She noticed with pleasure that there was already cutlery there. "Thank you, Alistar." She said and began eating slowly. The spices in the food were quite strong and soon her eyes and nose were watering while her mouth was on fire. She went to get herself a drink and sat back down again. This was going to take a while to eat if she had to down half a glass of water after every few mouthfuls. But if that's how it had to be, then that's how it had to be. Synthesis was not going to turn down a good meal… she hoped.

"I'll clean it up, he'll be fine after he has this." He dangles the vial in the air. He pulls out a rag and starts wiping up the vomit. After that, he checks on the food and smiles. "It's done! I'll bring it out in a second!" Alistar pulls the cork off the vial and holds it there as he puts the food onto some plates he magically found. He pours the vial into Darkhor's food and happily brought it out. "Here we go! Mr. Saurguse, yours may taste different because of the elixir in it. But, it shouldn't be drastically different. So, eat up!"

Synthesis sat down, subdued and tired. She had almost run around like a headless chicken in her haste to find water. It was only because Darkhor had got there first that she hadn't done so. She took the bucket of water from Darkhor that she had been offering up and emtied it out before giving it back to him as a sick bowl. She then moved to find a cloth and, upon finding it, she whiped Darkhor's mouth uncerimoniously and threw it onto the side, out of the way. Next she filled a cup with water and passed it to the Drakkollis so he could wash out his mouth and spit into the bucket.

"So Alistar…"
She sighed, "Do you want to clean the vomit whilst keeping an eye on the food or put the Drakkollis to bed?"

"Guys! As I said, this doesn't have any food in it. I just love seeing people's reactions. The food is cooking right now, it'll take a couple minutes to complete. Now, I'll just get you something for that nice little sickness you have there." Alistar shoved the pot into the bucket of water and rummaged around in his bag before pulling out a little vial full of a red liquid. "I'll mix this in with your food and it should get rid of your strain and give you some more energy. So, try not to die before it is finished. And SIT YOURSELF DOWN!" Alistar says loudly, walking back to where the food was cooking.

Darkhor's eyes widened and shot up from his seat running out the door grabbing a bucket on his way out. Running to the well he tried to get the water as quickly as possible and was far too worried to pay attention to anything else.

The Drakkollis then pulled up the bucket filled with water and ran back inside tripping and falling down and had somehow managed to not spill it. He began crying and whimpering pushing it forwards for Alistar to take it and use the water to save the food that was going to be ruined which Darkhor hated ruined food.

He looked up and then said, "I I'm sorry I really don't feel good at all… *BELCH!* When feeling very hungry I want to vomit… I should've told you guys earlier… Also I have not had any sleep for and entire day…" He sat up slowly really not feeling well and then puked on the floor.

"Alistar!" Synthesis frowned, "Are you seriously asking me, who has a broken nose and recently collapsed from exhaustian, or Darkhor, who is having phantom auditory halluninations, to go and fetch a bucket of water!?" But despite her annoyance, she guessed a fire was as reasonable an excuse as any for her to get up and she heaved herself to her feet. "Now Darkhor, hold that thought of what we were just saying… And don't you dare get up unless the house really is burning down. You shouldn't be doing anything in your current condition."

She made her way as quickly as she could to the bedroom where she picked up the bucket Alistar had used to make Raukaas's herbal remedy. She brought it unsteadily back to the kitchen and set about filling it from the tap. She felt dizzy but kept going until the bucket was half full. Then she turned and doused whatever it was that Alistar was cooking before dropping the bucket and stumbling She had to grab the fallen angel to stop herself from falling over and leaned against him while she regained herself. "Sorry." She muttered.

"Umm guys? I hate to break this touching moment but I have a bit of an issue." Alistar says quietly as smoke starts billowing from the pot in his hand. "Get some water or something! If not then I guess we could have some charred meat!" Alistar started fanning the smoke away as the fire continues burning. He giggles mischievously and smiles. "Funny thing, I'm completely joking. About the burning meat. This thing is still on fire. And could possibly burn down this house." His eyes shine with a mischevious glint.

The Drakkollis was clearly not quite with it, having hit his head quite hard. The nonsense he babbled almost compelled the girl to laugh. However, he looked too fragile for it to be funny and she instead found herself frowning and worrying about him. Why did she have to be so weak? She wanted to heal people so badly and yet she couldn't even heal herself at this point.

Then, to make matters morse, Darkor began to talk about his diseased wife. It was heartbreaking to see him fall apart at the recollection and Synthesis felt terrible at seeing Darkhor in such distress. She shuffled her chair a little closer to his and reached out to wrap an arm gently around his shoulder. Today seemed to be a day of sadness for this poor creature, with one unfortunate thing happening after another.

"Well, you've certainly done very well to do this on your own so far. You've been very brave and done your son proud. But now I think you can start relying on people again. You have Alistar and Raukaas. I will come back to this area often on my travels to visit you, if you like. Do you have anyone else?"

"That sounds tough. I would have no idea about that because of my……..incident. But, if I could experience the wonders of a lover then I doubt it would change anything. Angels, a majority of the time, have to be trained to have no emotions. So when we come down here and collect others to become angels, we don't get emotional if it is someone we knew before. So, I just naturally shut myself out to others." Alistar continues on, jabbering about random things. He also continues to make the meal with a smile.

Darkhor looked around in confusion, "Uh… really? I don't recall doing that…" Then as he thought about it he shook his head, "Uh do I remember being upside down? Oh EW! Gross! Was I drooling?! Oh for the love of the gods no! That's just disgusting…"

The Drakkollis then turned around and sat down taking a cloth napkin and wiping his face off looking disgusted. As he bent over to sit his were clearly wobbly and unstable but he managed to sit down.

Darkhor looked right at Synthesis and sighed, "Yes and I am well glad of it. Funny thing we both got hurt… But oh… yeah… I do need to listen. Drakkollis who have children are never independent. We need each other and ever since my wife has died things have been more difficult… Other Drakkollis like I if were to be separated would act like I. We are dependent on one another. One parent cannot care well for a child." He looked like he was about to cry and covered his face with both hands.

Synthesis frowned and wobbled over to a chair in the corner of the kitchen by a little wooden table. Darkhor would be dangerous if he had a brain, poor thing: always on edge, always with two left feat. But thankfully Alistar seemed to be taking things very seriously for once so the girl felt happy enough to leave the Drakkollis to him. In the meantime, she gingerly reached her fingers to prod her nose and immediately flicked as a spike of pain shot through her. It was definitely broken. However, she was too weak to heal it now and forced herself to sit on her hands to stop herself touching her face again. She must look quite a state.

"Thank you Darkhor." She smiled weakly, "I am so glad Raukaas is well again. Hopefully my contribution helped towards his recovery. But now it's all over you should definitely listen to Alistar and come and sit down. We can talk casually to take my mind of my nose and yours off your finger." She have a faint little laugh at their misfortune as she made the suggestion.

"You knocked your head and started acting funny. You also started stumbling around and got yourself hurt. So, I banned you from the kitchen so you don't hurt yourself anymore. Now, go sit down or am I gonna have to force you." Alistar threatened, cutting the meat up. "Honestly, I wonder how you have even survived this long with your clumsiness. You should really get someone to help you. Like, what was it you called it? A mate? Cause whoever they are could actually move around without knocking into things." Alistar teased slightly, a mischevious glint in his eyes.

Darkhor shook his head in confusion, "I fine! No I fine! I can do it!" He reached down and picked up the knife then looked to see Synthesis was up, "Ah I no… WHAT?!" He suddenly fell backwards knocking his head against the wall, "GAH! OUCH Flurble Kin!"

Then he suddenly fell forwards and flopped all over the kitchen floor and the next thing the Drakkollis started to snore lying in a very uncomfortable looking position. It seemed as though he seized and he foamed at the mouth, within moments he was unconscious or at least for what it had seemed.

Darkhor opened his eyes looking up at the ceiling and stood up, "Uhm yes I'm fine and why am I banned from the kitchen? Ah Synthesis my son is completely fine! He's currently playing with an enchanted bunny plush named Sona!"

He looked happy and then began to walk out to the living room, "Alos I am glad you are OK." Taking one hand he put it over his left side of face, "Ow… My head hurts. Can some-someone uh what happened here?" He looked once more confused.

Synthsis's eyes bagan to flicker as Alistar's energy transfer replenished her and gave her body the strength it needed to begin proper repairs. She shifted a little and over the course of several minutes began to wake up. Her nose ached and she tasted something both sweet and metallic on her lips. She licked them and realised her mouth was smeared in something thick in consistency.

She pushed herself to sit up. Her head throbbed a little. She needed water. Luckily, she still had her bag tied to her waste with a canteen half full of water. She emptied it quickly as to wet her lips. She then moved to sit over the edge of the bed she was on and take some deep breaths. Her vision was now beginning to stop swimming. She dared to stand up and make her way to lean against the kitchen doorway, where she saw Alistar cooking and Darkhor nursing a wound on his finger. It was only small, however, so the druid restrained herself from rushing to heal him.

At least no one looked as though they were fighting anymore. "Hello everybody." She croaked, "How are things? How is Raukaas?"

"What in the world are you doing!? Are you sure that you can do anything." Alistar sighs, grabbing a cloth from his bag and holds put his hand. "Give me your hand, I'll wrap it up with this. Jeez, you act as though you've been hit on the head with a pan multiple times. Do you need something for That? I have some never-melting ice." Alistar looked around and sighed. "I guess dinner is going to have to take a bit longer. You, I ban you from the kitchen until further notice. You are just going to get yourself hurt even worse. So, go sit down and do ABSOLUTELY nothing until it's ready."

Darkhor at first didn't listen to Alistar and continued to do his thing feeling a bit of a headache after bumping his head and then he said, "I am think I am f-fi-fine. Hey did you just say you want slippery fins? And I don't want any fish no thank you Leana."

Drakkollis where very sensitive and their senses were so sensitive that they will have them jarred and numbed. Then he started walking back up the stairs, suddenly he went back down and then came back up, the Drakkollis did this about 5 times before he went inside the kitchen. Darkhor grabbed a knife and accidentally cut himself just only a nick dropping the knife to the floor.

"Well, I'm pretty sure that it was picking up Raukaas's little animal friends and was gonna fling them at each other." Alistar watched peculiarly as the Drakkollis bumped his head after coming back up. "Mr. Saurguse, you don't have to do that. I am perfectly capable of doing it myself. All you needed to do is point the way. I doubt you should be doing all of this either. Causing more strain on your body after all that stuff could cause your body to go into shock." Alistar said suddenly, turning very serious. "Please, just sit down and let me do this. Causing strain to your body isn't something I want." He peeps down through the trapdoor to look at Darkhor. A worried expression in his eyes.

Then Alistar suddenly started to yell at Sona which alarmed Darkhor, "Oh dear what is. What is Sona doing?! And and yes What Drakkollis household doesn't have any meat nor vegetables?" He then opened up a trapdoor on the floor and walked down the steps to go retrieve what it was they needed.

Darkhor was searching around then picked up some wrapped meats. The Drakkollis then walked back up and bumped his head along the way back up. He set it down rolling his eyes realizing he forgot the vegetables. Turning back he walked back down searching though the selection he had sitting down there.

"UHa yes sure! And well to answer your question no we are not susceptible to heat." Darkhor chuckled as he came and took a loaf of bread out from the bread box and set it down. He turned his head and nodded, "Of course getting it done faster would be good. Ah I don't want to feel like I'm being rushed but yes it would be nice. Good thing that you found out how to not… cause whatever you said you can cause to the mind."

He pulled out a bunch of other cooking utensils and sighed when he realized he was called Mr. Darkhor instead of Mr. Saurguse, "Ah you do know my last name is Saurguse? Correct? But don't worry I'm fine with that."

"Sona! I know what you're doing! Don't do that!" Alistar suddenly yells, stopping from cutting up the spices. He turns around and continues yelling. "I swear if you hurt a hair on that child's head I will turn you into a pile of enchanted thread!" He continues cutting and smiles to himself. 'It wouldn't dare, I swear it loves that child dearly.' Alistar finished up and brushed it all into a bowl. "Okay, everything is done here, do you have any meat? And any vegetables as well?" Alistar turned toward Darkhor with a questioning look.

Alistar grabbed the kettle and poured a cup. He walks back to Synthesis and stares at her pale face. "I don't think that's good." He places the cup down and places his hand on her forehead. "Life Scan." A wave of light passed around her body. "You have a large depletion of magic power. I'm going to risk a magic transfer. But, I apologize for anything that happens." Alistar keeps his hand on her forehead and closes his eyes, channeling his magic into his hand. "Magic Transfer!" His hand glows brighter and suddenly disperses. "There! You should wake up any time now and can have your tea." Alistar clapped his hands together and went back to the kitchen. "Hey Mr. Darkhor? I found out how to help Synthie with out destroying her mind. She should wake up soon. So, could we hurry up with dinner a bit faster? I don't want to rush anything but if we had it when she woke up her energy could come back easier. And with two of us it could get done quicker." Alistar smiled, pulling his favorite knife out of his bag.

Author: Illusory Angel, Posted: Fri Jun 16, 2017 12:19 PM, Post Subject: A Cure For a Child (O)

Synthesis was still deeply unconcious, the gentle rise and fall of her chest the only sign that she was alive. Her face was scraped up badly across her forehead and right cheek and blood was pouring from her nose to stain her lips and chin crimson. Her nose was clearly broken with a cut on the bridge, although it was only slightly bent out of shape. All the red of her wounds and oozing blood contrasted starkly with her bone white skin. However, apart from all that destruction on her face, she looked surprisingly well.

However, she was going to need additional medical or magical assistance if she was going to wake up any time soon. It was the magical drain on her energy that really posed the danger to her health, although she seemed to be reletively stable now. A simple donation of energy would probably do the trick, although other methods and cures would undoubtably help.

"Great! I could always use an extra hand with this meal. Do you have any bread? It would also be super helpful if you cut it up. Please?" Alistar walked back into the kitchen and had a few spices he had collected from his bag. "I also wanted to know if you or Raukaas were susceptible to heat? Cause these spices are quite on the hot side. If not then I could go get some others."

"I uh yes I should go ahead and check on them… Sona… Oh dear that bunny plush loves to get into trouble? Mmmm I think you should make tea" Then going around to the other room he saw that the two were playing around with the animals and there didn't seem to be any problem and walked back into the living room.

He heard Alistar sigh and say that he was acting like a mother and being worried about young children. Darkhor smirked thinking that he felt the same way and saw Alistar pop back in, "Uh surely you could. I would appreciate that though I might go ahead and help. Ahem… I love cooking food." He looked at his belly and rubbed it grumbling, "Er yes I am hungry." He walked into the kitchen and waited for the angel to come back inside the kitchen as he started to prepare to start cooking.

"Jeez, should I go make some tea? It would help her after she wakes up. And, it kinda helps soothe the mind too. So, she won't freak out after she wakes up. Oh, and I wanted to know if you could check on Raukaas and Sona? Not that they would get into trouble, but Sona would want to get in trouble. It is one lively plush." Alistar giggles, walking out to grab some tea leaves from his bag. "I'm mostly just afraid of Raukaas getting dragged into Sona's rebelliousness. Jeez, I'm acting like a mother now. I'm just so worried about young children." Alistar sighs, putting the leaves and water into a kettle. "Oh, and I could make something to eat as well. I think rampaging around town and throwing him and around could make quite an appetite." Alistar has a slight mocking tone in his voice, popping back in to get Darkhor's answer.

Darkhor felt happiness, "It's OK. We all have our own troubles that… hopefully one day are lifted from us. Hugging is indeed a strange thing that we do." He was glad to see that Alistar was now very happy and it was a good feeling.

The Drakkollis's stress had left him once that was done and over with, "Caring and understanding is something that I give when I am given caring and understanding by another. I hope that you will find more of this happiness Alistar." Then he realized there was someone they had forgotten about then he reminded Alistar about the girl lying in the bed, "I believe we forgot someone here." He first looked at the angel then to Synthesis.

Alistar froze as Darkhor hugged him. This was quite new to him, it was an odd, but warm feeling. Alistar slowly started to hug him back, lift his arms and wrapping them lightly around his torso. "I know, I'm sorry for troubling you with my problems. I usually don't break down like this. But, I feel as though I don't need to have a barrier around when I'm with you. You understand, you care. It is probably the only thing that I have ever wanted." Tears of happiness fall from Alistar's eyes. "I've never understood why people hug, but I love the warmth from it." Alistar smiles happily.

Darkhor understood everything Alistar told him thinking about how awfully similar that story was from what Danihg had told him before then got very serious, "Alistar you should meet Danihg Bagoon. He may not be an angel or have come from heaven but he has met a very similar fate you have had brought down upon you. He can never stay in one place and must move because of his curse. A curse that has permanently become a part of him, bound to his very soul that even in death he will still be forced to walk upon the lands in suffering. Right now he suffers from the curse that cannot be lifted all because he helped… my kind…"
He began to become teary eyed once more but continued, "He has had other lovers… which they ended up suffering because they did not heed his warnings of his curse. I have seen it happen once but I am not going to go there. Danihg is actually afraid of himself, he's afraid of losing control of himself." Then he went quiet and listened to the rest of things the angel told him, "I will be happy if my son is happy and… I do very much hope so myself that we will good lives. I do not like to see others saddened or troubled by something. I like to see them thrive an be happy." Then Darkhor wrapped his arms around Alistar. He was hugging him gently and made a soft trill. Drakkollis only made these sounds towards others they cared about, who they consider a part of the family and or very close friend.

"Well." Alistar looks down at his feet. "I travel because I want to see something. Something that reminds me of my home. As you know, I'm an angel. And, almost all angels live in Heaven. But, a select few of us, me included, were banished from Heaven for certain reasons. In my case, I may or may not have helped a demon that was innocent of the charges against him. And, I was banished, but I remember about the beautiful gardens that littered Heaven. So, now I am traveling to find a garden similar to the ones there." Alistar smiles sadly, his head down, remembering the gardens. "And, there was another Angel that I had loved. But, our love was forbidden and he had rejected me." Tears pricked at his eyes as he stood up. "I'm happy I was able to help. If you need me, I will be staying in town for a bit longer before heading out again. Sona can stay with Raukaas if he wants. It will return to me when he doesn't want it anymore. So, I hope you two enjoy your lives for as long as you can." Alistar turned to Darkhor and smiled genuinely. "Thank you for dealing with me too. I can be a bit, extreme, at times."

Darkhor caught Alistar was trying to change the subject, "What is wrong? Are you OK Alistar? Why do you travel?" Then he muttered under his breath as he thought that maybe it wasn't the best thing to ask, "Oh great Danihg behaves just like this whenever I bring something like this up…"

The Drakkollis then looked back at him, "Yes yes he is an interesting man who holds many of my interests. He and I both play musical instruments and we dance. We share even a very similar story of our lives." But even the sudden change in the subject started to stress Darkhor out especially hearing Alistar's voice strain.

He stood up and knelt by his side looking and carefully reading his facial expression. He gave a look that he clearly knew something was up and was bothered by it. Drakkollis were known to understand and relate to others feelings. Their emotions.

"Sounds like a merry time! I would love to go! But, a mate? Is it necessary? Cause if it is then I'm just not gonna. I try not to get too attached to people. You know, cause I'm always traveling. If I get too attached to someone then my travels will have to be disrupted." Alistar smiles, though sadness can be seen behind his eyes. "So, this Symphr must be very generous. And a dragonian? Sounds so cool! I would be absolutely love to meet him!" Alistar exclaims, a strain in his voice as he tries to change the subject.

"Hope you don't and… What?! That's… uh… reassuring…" Darkhor squinted one eye at Alistar, "Your healing can cause hallucinations and loss of memory… and you could've hurt my son?" Then Alistar seemed to have his attention caught and replied quickly, "Yes and it just so happens to be so sudden. I am in love with this man and he is my consort"

He seemed to be lost in the thoughts and then snapped out of it and continued to speak, "Uhm yes oh yes he is so adorable. AH! Reminds me of another thing. There will be the Yakzerrassa festival where all of the Drakkollis come to gather for entertainment and to find or dance with their mates. There will be music, dancing, singing, food and games! Anyone is welcome though they are expected to respect our goddess." The Drakkollis seemed to be quite excited and made another series of chirps.

Raukaas was still hugging onto his father up until he saw the bunny plush which Alistar said it's name is Sona. He jumped up out of bed completely forgetting the fear of Alistar, "I want to play with Sona!" The young Drakkollis immediately grabbed and was running around the house playing with Sona.

"Hey you wanna see my pets?! Come on out Chiraa! Come on out Harris!" Then a red squirrel and a grey rat came popping their heads out from a hole in the wall. Raukaas lowered himself to the floor and began petting them and playing with them, "Dad! Can you get me a rabbit? I want a rabbit now."

"Absolutely! I understand completely. I will try my hardest not to destroy anything. Oh, and I could help her, though my healing sometimes has affects on the brain. Causing hallucinations and loss of memory. I'm honestly surprised I didn't hurt Raukaas, though I would never do it on purpose." Alistar popped up when Darkhor said that he was moving. "Really? Sounds like this was really sudden, if you want I could help. I mean, I do seem to get bored a lot and could use something to do." Alistar smiled,a glint in his eyes. "And, if anything, I could help with Raukaas while all this is happening. He is such an adorable little boy! I feel as though that was you when you were young. But, I'm free to help whenever you need."

Darkhor saw the bunny plush that had come to life and whispered into Raukaas's ear, "Raukaas look! He's got you a toy bunny you can play with!" He looked at Alistar with a smirk which would be difficult to see on a Drakkollis, "I know he wants outside quite badly. Don't you Raukaas?"

He nudged the little Drakkollis before he stood back up and goes to the entrance of the house but it looked as though people have seemed to have calmed down. Turning around he came to the bed where he had set Synthesis at and sat by her, "It looks like Synthesis had her face busted. I feel bad for not having paid much attention to her and I give much thanks for all who helped."

Then Darkhor looked at Alistar with a serious look on his face, "I would appreciate it if you wouldn't break anything the next time you come over. Let me tell you… I wont be living in this house anymore but I am not quite certain when I will be moving. I will be moving to the Lestange-Carrow's home. A manor. His name is Symphr, a dragonian." He now was staring at the ceiling thinking about it then put his iron claws away.

"Hey! I'm not scary! At least not all the time. Why am I always being called scaryyyyyyy!" Alistar cries, big silly tears falling from his face. "Oh! Hey Raukaas, I have a little friend I wanna show you. Come on out Sona!" Alistar's attitude goes back to normal as a bunny plush pops out of his bag, falling to the ground and standing up. It walks over and looks up at Raukaas, it's eyes have a glint of curiosity in them. "That is Sona! It is my enchanted bunny plush, it loves when people play with it. And, it can grow to different sizes if you wanna play a game for two! It also kinda has a mind of it's own." Alistar smiles brightly at Raukaas. "If you want, you can go outside and play with it. Just be careful, and if anything happens, Sona will protect you."

Raukaas practically leaped out of bed at the sight of his father and hugged him tightly, "Dad! Dad! I'm sorry! I'll never run out of the house like that again!" He had his head against Darkhor's chest then looking up at him he said, "That scary guy Alistar is still here? I don't want to be along with him father…"

He still was hugging him but he continues to cry and snivel. The young Drakkollis reached where his plush toy would be but found it wasn't there and suddenly started to wail. The way he cried was that he was wanting something he didn't have and it worried his father a little.

"You're very playful from what I can tell and well yes… I really do not think anything else could possibly happen… right?" He peered into the room and saw Raukaas was awake, "Raukaas you're awake! Come here how are you feeling?"

He came up to him and hugged his son gently before he called in Alistar, "Alistar he is awake! Raukaas seems to be OK. You feeling OK?" Darkhor truly did hope that it actually did work and that Raukaas was much better now. He did however seem to be better which made him very happy and his tail thumped on the floor and made a series of chirps and trilling.

"Hey! I get bored sometimes too! But, at least it didn't destroy completely. So, let's just see if Raukaas is okay. He should be awake right now." Alistar stated cheerfully, walking into the house. "He should be okay, unless something drastic happened. So, I guess you may be able to take him outside and let him wander for a bit! At least let me see if my elixir had worked." Alistar said quietly, analyzing the possibilities of what would happen to the boy.

Raukaas had been asleep for a little while then he finally started to wake. His voice croaked, "Synthesis… Dad?" Those were the only two words that he would speak at the moment and he didn't feel ready to be getting back up anytime soon. He thought he heard something but he couldn't really focus on much.

The young Drakkollis sighed and grumbled tossing and turning feeling very uncomfortable. Then he saw Synthesis wasn't there with him and suddenly felt so lonely again and started to snivel and cry. He hated being so along or the feeling of loneliness but what else was there to do now?

Get up and go outside and end up getting in trouble once more? No. No it was not an option to go back outside after that so he just stayed and lied in bed.

Author: Darkhor Saurguse, Posted: Wed Jun 14, 2017 11:45 AM, Post Subject: A Cure For a Child (O)

Darkhor shook his head spitting and then replied, "Goddamn it Alistar! I thought you had something to say!" He then started to laugh as he had walked up to his house. The Drakkollis looked up to him, "You certainly are very much like Danihg at this point!"

He was a little mad but thought it was funny afterwards after that it was just a simple thing turned serious just to get a reaction out of him, "You're bored aren't you? My friend acts like this because he's oftenly bored practically to death!"

He then turned around walking inside he found a place for Synthesis to rest and laid her down on an unused bed. Darkhor looked towards his son's room but instead popped his head back outside for only a few seconds before observing the door. Sighing and throwing his arms down by his sides, "Yep you loosened it…"

"Well." Alistar turned around with dark eyes. "I may, or may not, have broke your door while trying to get out here." Alistar giggled childishly, looking up with bright, mischevious eyes. "But, I guess I could just fix it, that was all." Alistar laughed as he floated up into the sky, looking down. "I wanted to see the look on your face when I became all serious. And let me tell ya, it was priceless! It was so confused." Alistar giggled again, spinning around in the air.

Darkhor nodded understanding, "Not much has been done from what I can tell?" Then as soon as he mentioned Synthesis the Drakkollis walked over and picked her up in his arms and flew up using his sharp iron claws to cut the plant growth freeing the woman. He caught her and let her down though she panicked and kicked, the moment he let go off her she ran off screaming.

The Drakkollis turned around and began walking back his own house, "Lets hope that this remedy did help and what is it that you must tell me?" Darkhor was curious about this since it had became suddenly serious and he wanted to know what it was.

Alistar smiled. "Oh really? Well I'm glad that I remind you of him. And don't worry, nothing should be too bad. I just think that getting you out of here would be better. You made many people angry with your little rampage." Alistar giggles a bit, think about the damage. "Oh, and we should probably help Synthie too. Both of us have used a lot of magic to help you and others. So, why don't we just get back and see your son? With my remedy it should have helped him tremendously." Alistar stood up, not even knowing that he was on the ground. He started walking back to Darkhor's house. "There is something I need to tell you as well, something very important." Alistar said, suddenly getting very serious.

With Darkhor on the rampage and at his attempt to devour Alistar from instinct he suddenly felt more calm when the spell. From hearing the tune he snapped out of what he been doing and saw the chaos from all around him. Staring at the angel his eyes returned to his normal glowing blue eyes.

From there as he backed off from Alistar, "What have I done? What kind of a monster am I?" Then staring at his own hands then back to him, "It is the shadow devil blood that plagues me, as it shall plague my son but it was my fault for losing though… I still blame father for some of my behavior which I struggle against!"

The Drakkollis reached a hand out as to offer a hand then spoke again noticing that Synthesis was unconscious, "I must take what I have to fix what damage I have caused and… I have to see my son." Darkhor had hoped that Alistar would trust him still and was still willing to help even with what he had just done.

"Alistar… You remind of someone I know. An ordriey named Danihg, a friend of mine. I think it may have to do with how you behave?" He waited thought he was beginning to become impatient thinking that Synthesis may need help.

Synthesis watched in horror as neither male took any heed of her at all. Darkhor lunged at the younger looking individual while making the most savage noises. His claws glinted in the light of the sun so that Synthesis could see them even from all the way on the ground. That is, until a black mist obscured her view. She gasped and wanted more than ever to help. Alistar looked like he was in a lot of trouble.

But even in the same instant, an even more pressing issue gripped her attention. Darkhor had been holding a woman by the ankle like a rag doll up until now. Synthesis almost hadn't noticed because the Drakkollis's large wings and loud roaring had commandeered her attention while the woman seemed so small in comparison to him. Also, her screams were downed out by the sounds of other people crying and lamenting in the street around her.

But then, as the Drakkollis dropped her in order to attack Alistar, Synthesis's eyes grew wide and her own mouth opened in a silent shriek at the realisation that this woman was going to die! The girl would have run over if she had been able to stand but she wasn't. So instead, completely without thinking, she reached forth a weak arm and commanded all the life currently dormant in the earth to rise up and catch her. It obeyed, sapping every last morsel of the girl's strength in the process. Much venetation and verdure sprang up, ripping through the neat stonework of the street and thwacking people nearby with vines and leaves it it's haste to get to the falling woman.

Synthesis was already much diminished from everything else, so the effort involved in this was too much. The girl's vision blurred and faded to black, allowing her to hear the screams and chaos for a few seconds longer before she passed out where she sat. She fell forward, her face crashing into the cobbles, and yet she was too far gone to feel a thing. She would be lucky to wake up from this without medical assisance.

So she didn't get to witness the woman's look of shock as she realised that several vines, bushes and a half formed tree had all coiled around her to prevent her fall onto roadside bellow. She wiggled to try and break free but they held her firm. Without the druid conscious to let her go, she would have to wait until someone fetched an axe to cut her down. Similarly, people would have to remove the venegation by hand or call in another caster if they wanted the assistence of magic. They would get nothing from Synthesis, who seemed halfway dead.

"Hey! I didn't know I look like a great meal, but I am not ready to die!" Alistar spat, struggling to get away. "I did not live for three hundred years just to be killed by a rampaging Drakkollis. Now, why don't we calm down." Alistar put his hand gently on Darkhor's forehead. "Calming Song" Alistar pumped waves from his hand to make a calming tune. Hoping it would stop the Drakkollis.

Darkhor had been trapped within his instincts still holding the woman. He heard Alistar and then Synthesis's voices.

When seeing them he did not recognize them which he hissed and roared leaping at Alistar like a savage monstrous beast.

It was so sudden when he went after Alistar and black mist surrounded the Drakkollis's fists and the iron claws appeared slashing. The Drakkollis missed and instead leaped on him and snapped his jaws attempting to try to eat him.

Synthesis watched with wide eyes as Alistar left the room without even waiting for a reply. How rude! Fair enough; people were screaming outside… but, all the same, the girl really didn't think it was necessary to leave her to deal with Raukkaas all alone without so much as a work of thanks of guidance. She had expended a lot of energy to help the Drakkollis child, had trouble walking she was so tired and no one seemed to care. She had fallen over and no one seemed to care. She had no idea what she should do now and no one seemed to care!

She didn't know if he was taking a turn for the worse or sleeping. He could be on the verge of death for all she could tell! She had no idea how she was supposed to administer a herbal drink to an unconcious person. Did she simply tip it in their mouth and hope they swallowed automatically? Did she rub their throat? Did she give it a little at a time? She was most peeved at their lack of consideration for her and, even more importantly, for Raukaas.

For now she moved to take up the cup and tip a few drops into the mouth of the younger Drakkollis, then a little more and finally a little more until she saw his throat flex of its own accord. So she kept this up, careful not to choke him. He did cough twice regardless, which scared the life out of the girl, but he recovered and she gingerly continued. A couple times she dared to press at his neck in order to stimulate it. She didn't think the action helped or hindered her progress. It took several long minutes before the drink was gone.

When it was, she put the cup down and moved to follow the other two males outside. The street was in chaos. There was a smashed cart and everyone looked fightened out of their wits. Quite a few people also looked to be nursing injuries. One man who looked like he had a broken leg was crying and the druid rushed over. If only she weren't so tired.

"Please, sir, hold still and I'll do what I can." She said as soothinly as she could. He nodded while she straightened out his legs before him and set about focusing her enegy into it. There was a muted glow and Synthesis swayed. His leg wasn't healed but it was better than before, the pain more barable. "I hope that helped. I'll come back to you if I can, though I cannot make any promises."

With that, the girl rose unsteadily to her feet and staggered towards where she had spotted two winged beings on the rooftops. Completely unable to fly at this time because she was so tired, she hollared up at them as loudly as she could.

"Would you two GET DOWN HERE THIS INSTANT!!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs so that they might hear, "Do you really think this behaviour is befitting of a father, Darkhor? Or a healer, for that matter Alistar, even though Darkhor clearly drove you to this? So get a grip of yourselves and help me tend to the child. I can't do this on my own! I'm struggling to stand, what with cleaning up after your mess!"

And then the last of her strength seemed to leave her, and she had to sit down in the middle of the road to stop herself falling down. But she still managed to glare unshakingly up at the two most irresponsible men she'd ever met with complete, unflinching scorn.

"Oh jeez, that can't be good. Synthie, could you just have the boy drink this while I take care of his bumbling father? Thanks!" Alistar placed the cup on the ground and quickly walks out, trying to find the Drakkollis. When he finds him he dodges the fly people coming his way and walks slowly towards him. "Heyyyyyyyy Darkie! Please don't kill me, with those arms you could probably crush me like a pea. But why don't we just calm it down. Look, do you think Raukaas would want to see you like this? As we speak he could be waking up and noticed that his father was rampaging like a madman through the town. So, why don't we channel that anger elsewhere? If not then I might have to get physical. So, sorry in advance if I hurt you at all." Alistar sighed, pulling out his battle fan and preping for a tough battle. 'If I just keep him busy he will get tired on his own and it will be easier to get him back.' Alistar thought, channeling his emotions till he had a blank face on.

Author: Darkhor Saurguse, Posted: Thu Jun 8, 2017 4:27 PM, Post Subject: A Cure For a Child (O)

Darkhor wasn't listening at first then walking inside past Alistar and Synthesis he spoke in his native tongue, "Egder Erumhd Raukaas…" He turned and looked to the two understandingly, "I don't know if that should be good or not but the sudden scream does not make me feel comfort. Alistar this I shall hope will make my son well."

Afterwards he turned his back to everyone and touched Raukaas gently and then suddenly howled and yelled backing off, "RAUKAAS! SAHN SUHLSAHG NULSAN!" He then tossed and pulled things onto the floor before disappearing in a puff of black mist. The room was more of a wreck than it was from earlier before.

Outside there was roaring and then people running and screaming in fear, "RAAAAAAAOOOOOOOR! OOOORRRG!" Then he had a newfound strength which he suddenly was able to lift a full cart which he threw across the street. The Drakkollis pounded his chest and grabbed two people which he threw with all of his strength.

For the first time he revealed his wings fully spreading them far and wide. Black bat like wings with patches of feathers were seen, feathers that seemed to be molting, most of which were gone. With strong thrusts, beating his heavy massive wings in no time he was in the air having have picked a random unfortunate woman off of the streets.

He only held her by one leg as he landed on one of the rooftops of a tall building. Darkhor was not in control of himself and went completely wild his strong instincts telling him to do. The Drakkollis made a long screech which was unsettling. What happened to the one man who was Darkhor?

It seemed like the good side of him had gone, disappeared from him and what was left for this moment was rage and carelessness. Even what was more that had seemed to have changed about him was the color of his eyes which had turned into a red that seethed in anger, making him appear demonic.

Author: Illusory Angel, Posted: Thu Jun 8, 2017 1:22 PM, Post Subject: A Cure For a Child (O)

Synthesis wasn't sure weather the boy was simply going to sleep or his condition was getting significantly worse. Perhaps she ought to go get help. As much as she loathed to admit it, Alistar was much better at healing than she was. So she stood and stumbled as quickly as she could towards the door, only to run directly into Darkhor who was coming in. The girl fell backwards and landed painfully on the ground but pushed herself to her feet as quickly as she could.

"Ah! Darkhor!" she exclaimed, "Your son cried out as if in pain and then fell asleep. I don't know if that's a bad sign or if he is getting some much needed rest. I was just coming to get a second opinion; maybe see if Alistar had any ideas."

She had wanted to ask Alistar about it first as she didn't want to worry the rather temperamental Drakkollis. However, she didn't see any other option. It was his son, after all, and there was no way she could lie or withold that kind of information. It would be a breach of trust.

Then she spotted Alistar was right behind Darkhor with a herb mixture of some sort and felt a little relieved. She might not approve of his immaturity and she might be envious of his skill but the truth was that he seemed to know what he was doing. She gave him a nod of acknowlegement and scooted to the side to let the two males past her. They would rightly want to check on the boy immediatly and make sure he was okay. She looked on anxiously. She hoped wholeheartedly that he was just sleeping.

Alistar nodded silently and made his way into the kitchen. He looks for the bucket and when he finds it he pulls it into his tiny arms and walks back through to get outside. As he does he feels waves of emotion pour off of Darkhor. 'Oh jeez, what did I do? Something isn't right. But I have to worry about that later. Right now, the boy is the most important patient. Once I take care of him, then I can help Mr. Darkhor.' Alistar thought as he pulled the bucket up from the well. He walks back and quietly places it down, grabbing the tools he needed to crush the herbs from his bag. He finishes crushing them and mixes them with the water. He stands up and walks over to  the door to the bedroom. Staring up at Darkhor he quietly speaks, averting his eyes. "I-I made it, I just need to give it to the boy. Then he should be much better."

Darkhor stared down at Alistar taking in a deep breath and answered him, "Ye-yes……. in… the kitchen…. there's a bucket… you can use." Pausing multiple times in the sentence he then kneeled down on the floor which he began trying to fix up the floor.

He was very quiet then answered, "I… am… fine… just… too… much… stress to deal with…" The Drakkollis suddenly clutched his chest and slumped against the wall and shut his eyes tightly. He then felt as if something bad had happened, a strong sense of dread fell over him, "I must… see to my son……."

Unlike the other times he seemed more sluggish in all of his movements not seeming to be as alarmed and worried as he was earlier, getting back up to his feet and walked towards the bedroom stopping at the door.

It took Raukaas a little while before he finally responded, no words came from his mouth. He reached taking the canteen with shaking hands almost dropping it. Putting it to his mouth he began drinking but he hardly drank a thing and he made a raspy sounding whine.

The little Drakkollis just laid there and slowly closed his eyes and just from looking at him he turned paler in color. His black and dark grey skin now a much lighter grey and he seemed to have fallen asleep. Raukaas was very still and the canteen that he took dropped.

Synthesis nodded at the words of the little Drakkollis. It was quite understandable that he would be bored, especially at his young age. What was he, about nine? Ten? She decided that while she was in the area, she could stop in every now and again to take him out on some supervised excursions, provided that his father approved. She was about to suggest as much and offer the usual comforting reassurements but then, with no warning, the child screamed. Synthesis sat up again hurridly, unsure what was wrong.

"Raukaas! Raukaas, what's the matter? Does it hurt somewhere?" She asked urgently, scanning his body for any sign of a wound or source of pain. Seeing nothing, she reached to place a palm on his forehead. She could tell he was jumpy and perhaps a little nervous of her so she was careful so make her movements slow and deliberate so the child could see what she was going to do, "Now, don't you worry Raukaas. I might be a stranger but I am not going to hurt you. Your dad wouldn't have left me with you if there was any chance of that."

The boy was quite warm and Synthesis turned to pull her canteen out of her bag, intending to offer him a drink. In her mind, she didn't want to have to perform any more magic but if she had to she would find the energy somehow. It might mean she couldn't walk for a while, though.

"H-hey! I didn't mean to. At least, not technically. But at least nothing horrible happened right? I could have destroyed the entire house." Alistar said sheepishly, a blush splattered acrossed his face. "Anyways, do you have a bucket? Or a bowl or something? It would really be helpful." Alistar bounced on his toes, itching to leave the awkward situation. He looked at his feet from embarrassment and just kinda sat there, staring at his feet. He looked up and saw tears falling from the Drakkolllis's face. "W-what happened!? Are you okay!?" He took a step forward but froze, not wanting to cause anymore trouble. He just stood there and watched as they fell from the male's face. "If this was because of me then I'm sorry." He said quietly, hoping not to be heard.

Darkhor had been a little busy and when he heard something immediately the Drakkollis walked out to see what it was that was going on. Then seeing Alistar on his hands and knees trying to fix up the floor that he just broken. He felt his blood pressure rise and breathing harder, "ALISTAR! Look at what you just did to my floor! You better fix all of it!"

He was refraining from physically touching him keeping his distance. He stomped his hoof in frustration and anger then tapping it as if waiting for something else to happen then muttered under his breath, "Where is Ginhad or Froig when you need someone else to do deal with Stressssssss!"

His face was starting to turn red as he glared at the young looking man. Then putting his arms out in front of himself and slowly breathing in from the nose and out the mouth trying to calm himself down. He Darkhor felt tears start to stream down his face once more and he made sniffling sounds.

Raukaas stared blankly at Synthesis with big eyes being silent at the moment. His eyes were almost a turquoise colour and then narrowed his eyes after a little while of staring at her and being quiet, "Uh… I'm never left alone with strangers… I'm just bored! I've been sick for weeks! Sitting in a bed and not doing anything is so boring!" He whined irritated at all of this happening. He threw his head back whining more and kicking his feet wildly until he flopped back on the bed coughing and wheezing. The young Drakkollis just felt too dizzy to move now without the feeling of nausea which he hated. Raukaas spoke but it was rather mumbling almost nonsense, "I pickles cheese mom? DAD!" The little Drakkollis suddenly screamed out loud and curled up.

"Damn, I can't get any water. I can't find a bucket. I can't do anything! Why am I even here! Damn!" Alistar stamps his foot on the ground and accidentally broke the floor, causing huge cracks to spread. "Oops! Ummm, that wasn't expected. I guess I don't know my own strength." Alistar giggles like a child and kneels down. "I guess I should try to to fix this before Mr. Darkhor kills me." Alistar sighs, quietly going about trying to fix the floor.

Synthesis rolled her eyes. "I only promised I'm not scary! I know that's not a promise you can keep."  She jibed and made no move to get up. She supposed he had no idea how tired she was after what he would consider a small bit of magic. Instead she flopped back on the bed next to the child and closed her eyes. If she could just get a small nap in, she might feel better.
"Don't worry, Raukaas. He doesn't know what he's on about. I'm not scary at all." She was aware that maybe the pale man-child had been refering to her saying the boy could go outside but at the same time she saw no reason why they couldn't take him to sit on the pavement for a hit if it meant that much to the little chap.

"Ummm Synthie? I don't think we should go around making promises that might not be kept!" Alistar pulled her aside and whispered in her ear. "If we say something like that then we could just get someone's hopes up that is already fragile! If we break those hopes than we could just break him. Now, could you help me by crushing these herbs? I need to go get some water, I think I saw a well outside." Alistar made his way back out the door and took a deep breath. "Ahhhhh! It is good to have some fresh air after being in that room for so long!" Alistar looked around for the well. "Wait a sec, do I have a bucket? I should probably ask Mr. Darkhor." Alistar decides to go back inside and wait for Darkhor to come back.

Synthesis watched with tired interest and a slight glow of pride. She must be doing something right if she could collect all the herbs needed to cure a sick child. She wrapped up her herbs again and pushed them back into her bag. Then she turned to the child deposited beside her, blinking owlishly.

"Hi," she spoke softly, "As your father said, I'm Synthesis. I've been helping your father to find you and heal you with Alistar. I promise I'm not scary. And I hope you don't mind me sitting on your bed. I'm just a bit tired after helping to heal you. It was a lot of magic for me to expend." She hesitated, "So what's this about you wanting to go outside? You can go out with your dad, or on your own when you're better."

Darkhor never really paid anymore attention to what was going on around him or the others. His focus was on the payers to the shrine devoted to it until then, Raukaas had started talking which broke his attention almost instantaneously. His attention now divided he got up and grabbed his son trying to calm him down, "Raukaas I'm here it's OK these people are to help you. Please stop what you are doing and let them help heal you."

Pausing in his sentence and pulling away and giving direct eye contact with Raukaas and continued in a very serious tone of voice, "Also never ever ever run away from home like that again! You made me worried so sick. I came home to find you were gone and that you running off like that has scared me. You scared your father. I know you want to go back outside but why do you want to go out so badly? You're sick son. I need you to feel better. To get better. Listen to what everyone is saying Raukaas."

He picked him up and put him back on the bed, "Now… You stay here while I get some firewood. Behave yourself please. Make your father happy by listening and doing as he says. OK? These two are Alistar and Synthesis. You will understand that you do not need to be afraid of them please." Standing up he walks into the living room as he left to the other room, "My son is terrified of strangers if you excuse me while I get what's needed." He went to the kitchen as he started to set things up.

"Oh dear! What is wrong!? You just need to stay in bed. Please, if you move then the disease may spread!" Alistar urges, trying to get the child back in bed. "Oh, and it was called 'Search and Destroy' magic. In this case, I used it to search and destroy most of the disease that spread through his body, but some of it still is there. Oh, and thank you." Alistar took the cloth and opened it. He searches the cloth and picks out a few of them and wraps it back up. "Yep! All of the ones I needed are right here! You were very helpful! Now, little boy, I need you to sit on the bed and wait for a bit as I crush them up and make some tea for them. Sir, do you have a some firewood or something to start a fire?" Alistar turned towards Darkhor. Smiling a bit, he flicks his hands and they spark, causing flames to burn from his hands.

Raukaas had began to shift in his sleep then woke up after the spells were cast on him. Then trying to process what had just happened he found he had been taken back ho somehow and began to panic immediately. The young Drakkollis complained, "I never wanted to go back home! I want  to go back outside!"

He managed to have somehow sat up and gotten out of bed trying to make it back out of the door. But trying to attempt to run back outside he collapsed to his knees shakily and coughing hard. He then fell backwards and gripped the edge of the bed looking fairly panicked.

He started to freak out to see that there were strangers inside of their house and started to sniffle and cry both from falling over, aching body and the fear of sudden strangers inside the house at the same time.

"What sort of magic was that?" Synthesis said, startled into opening her eyes, "And are you some sort of herbalist? I've got quite a few herbs that I collect on my travels and I've dabbled a little in learning how to use them."
She couldn't help but feel a little dissapointed that Alistar was able to heal the boy with so much more confidense than herself, but at the same time grateful that the boy was going to be alright, with both their combined efforts. She opened upp her bag and pulled out several bundles of dried plants wrapped in cloth and offered them up for Alistar's inspection. She felt truely tired enough to fall asleep then and there and thought how nice it would be to lie down. Instead she swayed a little and closed her eyes again to rest them.

"I'll see what I can do." Alistar walks inside and quickly makes his way to the child. "Souron Sesiush!" A bright light surrounds the boy like a thin bubble. It stays for awhile, while Alistar stands there with his eyes closed, his hand still on the boy's forehead. After it disappears Alistar takes his hand from his forehead and places it on his hip. Sighing, he turns around. "He should be fine, at least for now. I haven't gotten rid of it, just delayed it to a certain part of the body. There are a few things I need to stop it. I'll write them down." Alistar pulls a journal out of his bag, along with a quill and ink. He writes some items down and placess the sheet on front of Darkhor. "That should be everything. Including some things to get his strength back."

Author: Illusory Angel, Posted: Sun May 28, 2017 1:15 PM, Post Subject: A Cure For a Child (O)

Synthesis made her way over to the boy and placed her hand on his forhead, ready to channel as much magic as she could into healing his broken body. She wasn't sure what exacctly was wrong with him but she didn't need to in order to give someone a general healing. But just as she was about to begin she heard the strangest chanting from behing her. She turned to see Darkhor speaking in a foreign tongue and bowing to a statue she hadn't noticed before. It was very strange, even though she could guess he was only praying. She nodded and wished that any god out there would smile upon them now. The poor boy didn't look in good condition at all.

She turned back and did her best to concentrate and focus on the boy, but it was diffucult. In the end she managed to get a flow of magic knitting his tissues back together and revitalising his immune system. She continued to pour as much strength as she could afford into the process, before disconnecting from him, breathless. Now all they could do was wait to see what happend. She closed her own eyes and listeneed to the chanting, which wasn't actually that offensive to the ear. She nedeed rest too now and sat down heavily on the bed beside the child.

Darkhor at first didn't listen but as soon as he heard that the condition would be worsened simply by doing what he just did he quickened his pace, "Just get inside my house…" Finally reaching the house he opened the door walking through and set Raukaas down on the bed.

He caressed the side of his head then his cheek before turning to look back at them, "If you are healers please… Please help him…" The Drakkollis offered for them to take a look at the young small Drakkollis and he just sat there looking at the two with desperation. He was wanting them to do at least something and he waited patiently for them. Darkhor began speaking in his native tongue which seemed like he was giving a prayer for something.

He put his hands up into the air and put them down onto the floor kneeling on the down. He was giving bows as he was doing so, "Esi duath Terranean et un ot sahg saulsan Terraneandos em Terrazukos, Terasque, Terramoonua enda coas sunha Teleranis! Edga ehmsik Raukaas! Ami anmi Yakzerassa!" Ahead of the Drakkollis noticeable was a shrine of some strange creature that had the resemblance of a Drakkollis but with the features of a scorpion.

It was shown to have what it seemed to have was two heads and long bladed like structure coming out from the forearms. It however had no wings present and it possessed a scorpion tail. Dakhor got up and on one knee he touched his mouth with his hands then to the shrine.

Synthesis kept her distence from Darkhor as he agressively ploughed his way through the crowd. She followed a little way behind as he continued to cry and waited until they were more or less back to his place before she ran a little to catch up with him. She saw Alister was there too, flying and giving some helpful advice in the most unhelpful way imaginable. She pursed her lips and ignored him.
"Well, I'm a healer." Synthesis offered, "Not very good but a healer none the less. How about I take a look at him?"

"Umm sir? I hate to be a bother, but your son is in a bad condition. Doing something drastic could trigger something bad." Alistar yawned, floating above the child and his father. "Especially something like yelling, it could cause his heart rate to increase and cause the blood to pump faster, giving the disease he has a free ticket to find other places of the body. Causing it to expand and create something worse." Alistar stated, simply as to help the child and not to cause trouble. "You should also be careful about tossing other people aside like that. It really doesn't help anything, considering some of them must have been trying to help."

Darkhor felt reassured with what she had said to him as he walked away from her. Then later on he forced himself to halt the moment he heard her cry out his name. He whirled around and ran towards her voice until he eventually came to a small crowd. Looking above the people and finding it difficult to see and began to push with all his strength to get past the people.

Finally getting them he saw Senthesis but the drakkollis's attention quickly was turned to the little one and he cried out, "Raukaas!" Bending over Darkhor gently grabbed and picked up the unconscious drakkollis. He held his son close to his chest, "Raukaas what have you done? Why do you this? WHY?!"

He shook him at first but then squeezed lightly and when someone approached him he turned around growling and hissing, "NO! NO! GET AWAY!" Getting back up to his feet he began to head back home holding Raukaas close his body. Dakhor didn't know what to do, starting to cry once more he shoved people rudely from him.

Synthesis snapped to look up at Darkhor and forced a smile. She agreed wholeheartedly with being uncomfortable about Alistar but at the same time was determined to judge the other on their actions, which addmittedly weren't looking all that encouraging.
"Don't you worry. I'm still helping. I don't know about Alistar." She said to the Drakkollis before turning to the pale boy. "Why don't you do that flying you promised and report back when you've found something?"
With that she turned to follow Darkhor and scour the streets with him. After a couple minutes of walking, she spotted a gaggle of people clustered in a street perpendicular to theirs. They were muttering and pushing to see something, and the druid wondered weather this was the commotion that Alistar had mentioned. She made her way over briskly and used her small stature to worm her way inbetween the people to see what the fuss was about.
To her surprise, she was greeted with the sight of a small Drakkollis, sprawled on the soadside.
"Darkhor!" She hollared as loudly as she could, "He's over here! Your son!"

Raukaas had run for a good few miles before he bumped into a group of people. He didn't say excuse me not even a sorry. He knocked a whole bunch of equipment over. Then feeling faint and too dizzy he collapsed in the middle yelling out before he hit the cobble stones.

Now unconscious at this time the people who had ran into came over. It created a scene having citizens grouped around the young fainted drakkollis. They didn't know what to do exactly and just stared baffled talking, mumbling at what had just happened and what could have caused this or led to this situation right here.

Raukaas couldn't do a thing except lie there sprawled out in front of all these strangers. A few people did though recognise this was a drakkollis. Knowing that some where saying that this place must be crawling with these things if there is one laying right here.

Darkhor still searching for his son had come all the way back up after not finding him. Realizing he never introduced himself to the two he took a deep breath, "Mmm what's going on? Are you two still going to help out? Or am I now alone on this? Too introduce myself I am Darkhor Saurguse."

He then saw that smile and what he just said and without hiding his facial expression his eyes widened and his brows raised while his jaw dropped. Then he knelt by Senthesis and whispered into her ear, "I cannot trust someone like that looking for my son especially if he's sick."

He really didn't feel comfortable about it and it did indeed make him feel threatened and scared. His eyes shifting around as he thought of the possibilities of what could happen.

Standing up he started to walk back down and when that fear hit him he suddenly bolted down the streets more frantic in his search for Raukaas now. His spines had puffed up again. His black robes flowing as he ran. This would be the only he would do at the time.

"I see," Synthesis said grimly, "Where is this occurring, to the best of your knowledge?"
She stared with pure and genuine interest at his fickle transformations but had to look away from his smile after it turned a far too malicious for her liking. To make things worse, he would know how that made her feel and could take advantage of it, just like he could take advantage of any of her emotions. She hoped to heaven that he meant no harm but she didn't allow herself to discount the possibility that he might turn hostile, especially after seeing that look. She reached out and took the apple he had offered, smelling it briefly before taking a bite. It seemed an average version of the fruit and it was one less meal she was going to have to make or buy.

"Actually, it is the perfect time to eat, so our strength is up even more for the search. And, I'm not exactly a mind reader. I can feel the emotions off of people and can basically analyze it to figure out your thoughts. So kinda." Alistar looks at the female, eyes glazed over in a smug look. He twirls around and his bunny disappears, being replaced with a battle fan. His ordinary clothes get replaced with white robes, as though made of light. "I sense something, I can't tell at the moment but it feels like trouble. It is faint though so as long as it stays like that it should be fine!" Alistar smiles childishly, before smiling like a creepy  murderer.

To say she was shocked would have been an understatement. She had no idea how to deal with someone like this. He was just too strange. He adressed her so confidently and famillierly despiteonly having just met her. Plus, he seemed to know what she was thinking, though it could just have been a lucky guess or skilled reading of her body language. The thought that he mind be a mind reader was disturbing. As he enlarged his plush, lay down and began conjuring food, Synthesis did her best work out a suitable course of action.

"As much as I appreciate the offer, Alistar," she said, looking towards where the father was still getting further away, "Don't you think this might not be the most appropriate time to eat. Why don't we find that man's son quickly and then I'd be more than happy to sample your food?" She paused for only a second before she couldn't resist adding "And are you some sort of telepath or something?" She was loath to admit that he was right about her inner thoughts or emotions but she simply had to know.

"Awwwww! I'll try my hardest Synthie! But it may be really hard!" Alistar giggles as he follows her. "Though I wonder why you act like that when your true emotions mean otherwise." Alistar winks and sticks out his tougne. His little bunny plush enlarges into a huge bunny that Alistar lays on top of, quietly making an apple. He leans over the side and holds one out. "Want one? They are really delicious! I made them myself right now!"

Synthesis frowned at Alistar as they continued to walk quickly onwards after to the Drakkollis. A small part of her found him comical. He acted like a child trying to sound tough, despite looking physically older than her, so it was hard not to think of him as one and take the same level of stock in his words.
But for the most part she was confused. He looked around eighteen, said he was three hundred and acted around five; with the the same matter of fact carelessness and innocence. Yet nothing he said was innocent. He spoke of killing like it was a game of hide and seek and casually warned her that he might hurt her, like some thinly veiled threat. The druid didn't like the sound of that at all and had no idea whether to take what he said as truth or lies. Dispite all this, however, the girl worked to hide her true feelings, show respect to him and act as though she believed him. Everyone deserved a chance to prove themselves, she thought.
"Well, it's nice to make your aquaintence, Alistar," she said evenly, "I hope you'll forgive me for asking you not to kill anyone in my presence or - even better yet - ever."

"I'm Alistar! Alistar Evee! I'm not much, but I love adorable things and killing. Though helping people is a lot of fun too." Alistar smiles, tilting his head. He hugs the bunny plush that he is holding and twirls around. "I'm also very childish for being almost three hundred years old. Just be very careful when I get angry or on a killing spree. Cause you may just get caught up in the turmoil." Alistar smiles mischievously. Twirling his bunny on his finger.

Synthesis looked on with mild amusement. She didn't think any of them had noticed her wings yet and she didn't bother to reveal that all three of them were actually capable of flight. She certainly wasn't going to bother flying when she could search perfectly well on her feet. All the better if someone else was offering to provide an aeriel viewpoint. The new, young-looking male replied to the disressed Drakkollis extreamly vaguely, which seemed unnessesary to her, but she couldn't complain if he was making himself useful.
She and him seemed to be of the same mind and followed the large creature to make sure he didn't get himself worked up or into trouble as he went off calling for his son. It wass at this point that she realised she knew neither of their names and they didn't know hers.
"I'm Synthesis, by the way," she offered, "What about you two?"

"I don't know, maybe you do know me and maybe you don't. But your son should be fine. There doesn't seem to be much of a disturbance anywhere so not much trouble has been caused." Alistar smiles inoccently. "Though if something bad did happen to him then it should pop up on my radar very brightly." He giggles excitedly, twirl the parasol even more. "Let's just hope that nothing goes wrong and your son doesn't get hurt!"

Raukaas had fallen asleep on the spot for only a short period before he woke up. The place suddenly was unrecognizable and then feeling nauseated he got up and moved to an open barrel vomiting in it. He started crying and spiting out trying to rid of the acidic stomach taste which was quite terrible. He though that this made him feel more miserable then heard his father call out his name. The young drakkollis almost went towards in the direction where he was but he ignored it purposefully.

Raukaas didn't want to go back home and ran further down the alleyway and turned in another direction further away from Darkhor. He had no plans for coming back anytime sooner then once again he found himself picking through the carts from a different person. This time he had no intentions of putting anything back like he did from earlier before and began stuffing his bag with different items. Another food item he sniffed and munched on it trying to not draw any attention to himself he was along the way again.

Darkhor had been hiding in the tight space but decided that he had to deflate upon hearing about the whereabouts of where his son may be at, "Please let it be my little Raukaas." Then as he started to go down to the general area of where his kid could be possibly at the man he had met from before had come jumping down with a parasol.

The drakkollis turned to face him, "Do I know you? Also my kind is quite capable of flight and we have heightened senses so I believe we are equal on that but surely you can help search for him since I am too weary to fly." Then scoffed, "My 10 year old son is such an idiot…"

The Drakkollis went off in search for Raukaas calling out his name, "Raukaas! Raukaas come back to me! I want you to come back home! Please…" Thinking to himself, "Why would he just outright steal? No… That's not right… No… He would never steal like that. Not with someone noticing him like this."

Alistar sita on top of a building, staring at the two. He giggles childishly. "Oh goodie! A chase for a sick son! This will sure be something I could help with!" He cheers, hugging his cute bunny plush. He twirls his parasol and jumps down from the building. He lands gracefully and makes his way to the two. "Hello! I overheard your little situation and I think I may be able to help. I can fly and have heightened senses." He smiles innocently, tilting his head a bit. "That is, if you are willing to accept my services!"

Synthesis would have been amused if the situation was not so sad. She had followed the Drakkollis down the streets until they came to the cart, where she had watched as the human drove appeard to scare the - what had the human said - "Drakkollis" into puffing up with spikes and diving into a narrow allyway. The girl didn't bother to try and coax the Drakkollis out oh his hiding place and instead approached the human.

"Did you say that another Drakkollis like him stole your stuff?" She asked.
"Yes!" The man half shouted at her in anger despite her being right in front of him, "Bloody disgraceful is what it is!"
"Could you tell me which way he went, then." She continued calmly.
"That way," He blustered and pointed down a slightly wider side street, "What do you want with him?"
"He's lost. He needs finding. Don't worry, sir. I'm sure his rather will speak to him about this incident."

And with that she turned back to the Drakkollis hiding in his narrow gap. "Did you hear that?" Your son is that way. Shall we go find him?"

Darkhor gingerly took the rag offered him and blew into the rag then said, "Thank you so much." He stood up to his full height standing at 10 feet and put a hand on her shoulder, "He is only 4 feet 6 inches tall and well he would usually hide behind the shops when he went out looking for something."

He pointed with his other hand where he would normally see Raukaas go to. Walking in the direction he looked back to see if the woman was following him. He walked past the cart and began calling out to Raukaas where a man looked angry about something and seemed to be looking for someone.

As soon as Darkhor walked by, the man threw a small stone at him hitting him in the back which the drakkollis yelped in pain, "Hey which one of your kind stole and threw my own merchandise back at me?!" The drakkollis had spines suddenly puffed up like a puffer fish and he hid in between two buildings.

He seemed to be stuck now and he didn't want to come out at all. The man spat, "God damn it you Drakkollis get back out of there! This is why I hate your kind!" Darkhor just whimpered cowardly at this point. It would be the only thing he would do at the time.

Synthesis was a little surprised by the response of the creature. It made quite a scene in its distress and seemed quite vulnurable considering its huge stature. However, the local area wasn't too busy and most of the passers by hurried on without getting involved which left the girl to make the best of the situation. She deliberately ignored the snot on the roadside and pulled a scrap of fabric out of her bag and offered it to him.

"Here. Keep it,"
she said gently, "Of course I'll help. We'll find your son in no time, just you see. We can start by looking together in the most likely places and if we don't find him by the time you've calmed down we can split up to cover more ground. How does that sound?"

The druid sensed a faint residue of magic surrounding the creature, which seemed just as eratic and brittle in nature as he was. She wondered weather he could do with a little healing, but decided the best thing for now was to get the search under way.

Darkhor slowly put his head down and looked directly at the woman Synthesis. Still crying tears and no longer was crying out loud, "My son… My son's missing… He's very sick but he's missing. I only left him for a day. A DAY!" His chest was heaving and the drakkollis just sat there still then clutched himself.

He was trying to force himself to stop crying to make himself more calm. He would up holding his breath then suddenly blew snot out in front of himself getting it all over the street and passerbys. After a few seconds of looking shocked he sniffed sucking the snot back up his nose.

Then he looked back to the woman then stared at the ground, "Please help me find him. He's just sick with pneumonia but I don't understand why my own child would run away like this. He's never done this ever before. His name is Raukaas Noogab-Saurguse." Darkhor was pleading for help but he had no idea what else to do. The only thing was to search for Raukaas and to find a cure for his ailment.

Synthesis wondered the streets of Adeluna, browsing through market's and admiring the local architecture. There was very normal bustling atmosphere and Synthsis appreciated the change after traveling for days and days through the wilderness. That said, she had about had her fills of the local ambiance and was about ready to search out a tavern to base herself in for a while. She wasn't a drinker by any means, but it was a nice place to while away the time; listening in on other people's conversations, the local gossip, the idle catter. She could nurse a nice drink of juice and lounge in a corner as the world went by.

But, alas, this was not to be. For she somehow found herself in a more obscure area of the city and was greeted by the stangest sight. A huge creature wtih hooves, a tail and great wings was kneeling on the streets and crying. Normally a person of such stature would have intimindated her but in the face of such obvious distress she couldn't turn away. So she approached cautiously, ready to spring back at a moment's notice.

"Excuse me," she said nervously when she was about a meter away, "Are you okay? If there any way I can help you?"

Darkhor had been up during the day instead of sleeping but he had been searching for something to help his own son. He was very worried and it stressed him to think about it but he had to find something. With the people who had given him the suggestions of getting any priest for helping in the cure for his own child. The drakkollis however had been avoiding talking to anyone for help wanting to do it all for himself. He wanted to feel good to have achieved something for himself and he thought if he were to get someone else to do it for him he would not feel that sense of actually having done something himself. "I just can't allow it. I just can't! I must find a way whether it were to be a peaceful solution or not to be." Then it struck him that where his thoughts were leading him. Death was going to happen once more at his own hands and if nobody was going to be there it will happen. Darkhor made a hideous cackle thinking about it as he walked back into the city after a long days travel. It was night now and the day had been spent entirely without rest or any sleep. He along the way eat whatever he could have up for the grabs. He was very tired not having have slept at all and he had to sleep at some point sooner or later. He was coming home to check on his son. He had finally reached home opening the door and walking inside. The drakkollis called to Raukaas, "Son I'm home!" When he heard no response a dreadful feeling and thought came over him. Immediately ran into the room only to discover he wasn't there after having searching the whole house he came back outside collapsing onto his knees and crying out loud like a lone wolf. Darkhor just sat there with tears streaming down his face looking up to the sky and wondered why his own son Raukaas would just run from home like this. Especially that he was sick and he thought it could be that he was bored but even all those years he had raised Raukaas had never done such a thing. Wander from home.

Raukaas had been sleeping for quite some time. When he woke and up at the edge of the bed he coughed up phlegm and wheezed. Pain in his chest he shut his eyes tightly and got up out of bed. The drakkollis child was tired of sitting in bed and his father Darkhor wasn't around to keep an eye on him at the very moment. He walked reaching the door opening it he wandered out, "I can still do whatever I want. I don't care what father told me. Even if I am sick I can still do things on my own."

Then out in the streets he walked around and outright stole from a cart an apple without anyone noticing. Raukaas sniffed it then along the way to an alleyway he tossed it to the ground. He didn't feel hungry and he didn't plan on eating. Then turning back he picked the apple back up walking back and threw the apple at the man trying to sell apples. Afterwards he found himself running back to the area and thought to himself, "Why did I just do that? That was so stupid!"

He stopped running and was gasping and coughing harder than he was had been in bed resting but the drakkollis child refused to go back home. This time he was just going to do whatever it was he wanted. The thought of going back home was just a no. He was bored and feeling too achy he sat down and lied against a wall resting and shivering. The young drakkollis after all was sick with pneumonia.
