Aygul

Character Info
Name: Aygul Fusun
Age: Twenty four
Alignment: None
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Class: Ex solider
Silver: 0
So far Aygul had spent a few days in Adeluna. He had arrived and been instantly pointed in the direction of a decent tavern; The Winking Mermaid. Surprisingly he had avoiding attracting too much attention to himself. There where people of many colours and creeds in this huge city so his Mamlak heritage didn’t stand out as much as he had originally thought. The ex-solider had only ventured out into the city a few times, usually under the cover of darkness for a reckie.  A nobleman back in Mamlak had given him a contract on a slaver living here. It would be Aygul’s first contract assassination, and the young man was nervous.

He sat in his room at a small writing desk; there were no pens or parchment on it, just a dagger and a small glass of rum. His amber eyes watched the sun sink slowly into the sea through his window overlooking the harbour. As the last deep red slither disappeared he but a hand gently around the glass. “Tonight is the night.” He said to himself darkly before finishing his drink. Aygul stood up and checked himself in the mirror. He stood tall and strong, his dark blue robe wrapped around him and provided a hood. He raised it to hide his face and then picked up a black sash from the bed. He tied it around his waist and then fastened the leather belt of his scabbard on top. His sword was ready, but the weapon he planned to use was the dagger. Close and personal. He wanted to see the life leave the eyes of his prey.

Half an hour later Aygul found himself crouched low on top of a roof overlooking the main gate into the slavers mansion house. Climbing up here had been easy; there wasn’t a true child of Mamlak that couldn’t climb the Beacon here with his eyes closed. Slowly he pulled out his sword, careful not to make a sound. The gate was guarded by four men; he would need the element of surprise if he was to get anywhere.

There was a noise behind him, he froze like a statue for a moment.

Moliira

Character Info
Name: Moliira
Age: Old
Alignment: CN
Race: Drow/Lycan
Gender: Female
Class: Huntress
Silver: 1905
"Your form is terrible.  Where did you learn to stand like that?" a voice called out in a whisper, full of amusement.  This little human had caught her eye, and Moliira had followed him.  She was here on other business, but distractions were still allowed.  She studied him for a few long moments in silence, Moliira could see that he did have the build for fighting.  A former solider, perhaps.  Which meant there was a chance that he would be able to take on the four men below.  But they were alert, and they were guarding something or someone of interest.  Which made Moliira just a bit curious.

Turning her stormcloud eyes towards the man, she smiled just a little.  Perhaps he was teachable.  And he could serve well as eyes and ears for her in the world, given her own search.  "I could teach you, if you would like.  There is drive and ambition in you, I can see that.  But you need refinement," she said, her voice still low.  Holding up a hand before he could accept the offer, Moliira added one condition.  "That being said, I do have my price.  But if you wish to be a hunter of others, then you will find no better teacher," she said, a smile full of pride.  There was arrogance in her tone as well, but it was the self certainty that she was completely right in her statement.

Whether or not he accepted was of little relevance, she intended to offer him at least a first lesson for free.  But only the one.  "Look at the men below.  Study them.  Which one is the weakest?  And which is the one that you would take out first?" she asked.  This one answer would set the course of their lesson, assuming he accepted.  Though Moliira was fairly certain that he would.  Waiting for his answer, she turned away from him to look at the four men again herself.  She had already determined her own answer, though her senses were quite a bit better tuned that his.  There was likely nothing wrong with his eyes though.
