[In this thread, I will not roleplay as Silanus, instead I'll be using 7 soldiers from my Men at Arms unit. 5 men, 1 female orc and a male orc. Their names are Arcturus, Gaius, Julius, Septimus and Marcus (Men), Arhoka (Female orc) And Brogrosh (Male orc)]

Tacitus Silanus sent 7 of his trusted soldiers to the City of Adeluna with a single purpose: Kill as many people as possible. This was to strike fear in the heart of the citizens.

Hundreds of armed adventurers enter and leave the city daily, thanks to this there are no laws against entering the capital with weapons, so the 7 agents of Silanus had no trouble with the guards when they entered the city, making everything easier. Some of them knew they would most likely die, as this place has a lot of guards, but deep in their heart they knew they were doing the right thing, or atleast they thought that, so this was considered as a noble sacrifice.

Before beggining the attack, the crew assembled in a corner. Septimus began reading a letter, speaking softly so his allies could hear him, but just them. The letter said:

"You have been choosed to strike terror in the heart of the Empire. You know the rules: kill anyone excep children under the age of 15 years. If a guard or any fool tries to stop you, kill it as soon as possible. I believe that you will do this work like nobody else. All Hail the Fratis.

-Tacitus Silanus"

Julius looked at all his companions; he knew they had better possibilities if they attacked wisely instead of charging mindlessly into chaos, so he spoke to them: "Very well, Marcus, you are an excellent marksman. You see that tower over there? The guards of the city are usually using it, most likely two guards are in it right now. Take them down, grab a crossbow and support us. Arhoka and Brogrosh, you are formidable warriors. Kill any guard that approach us, you Septimus help them. The rest of us will kill the wandering citizens in the district, understood?" The soldiers answered: "Understood" And prepared to begin.

Marcus, a light armored swordman, began to sneak through the poorly protected watchtower. He silently killed one guard without anyone realising, then charged to murder the second one. The guard had no time to protect herself and nobody was able to hear her death. Now Marcus had an excellent position. He poured a lethal poison in the point of his bolts and prepared to shoot with a heavy crossbow the guard had.

The crew settled themselves in the market place, where lots of citizens were wandering around. Arcturus yelled: "For the glory of the Fratis, die! DIE!" Then, everyone grabbed their weapon and killed 4 citizens, a merchant and a guard. 8 guards ran to the place, but Marcus shot 2 of them with his poisoned bolts. Chaos had begun!

The main marketplace was bustling with large droves of people coming and going under the strong midday sun. They stirred up dust with their carts and the movement of their animals made the noise level almost unbearable. Most of the residents were human or of an elvish descent, but some of the merchants, and die-hard adventurers, had made the travel from distant lands to sell their goods. A few goblins could be spotted selling their trinkets in heavy carts, dwarves made their dealings with customers and their weaponry, even the satyr stood with their families selling their woodland alcohol and farmed vegetables. It was a much more comfortable setting with the mixture of races and species of all sizes coexisting in peace, especially with the promise of a late summer festival right around the corner.

The further away from the circled center you got, the smaller the crowds that gathered in the streets behind buildings. X’yros was on such a street, in fact he could be spotted with a troll merchant closer to a more secluded area that was burdened with only a few groups of people versus the tightly cramped streets of the big vendors. It was shaded here, and although people can be heard in the distance, the voices that took place had a hushed feel to them. It wasn’t as sketchy as some of the parts, just people selling goods that were not all too common. The tall male was hunched over exchanging a small collection to purchase a midnight-blue robe for his daughter. The troll was accustomed to doing business with X’yros, but seeing him out in public was a little different. After the exchange, the garment was neatly folded and placed in the back of the cart for a personal delivery to be sure the pricier purchase would arrive safely. After a bow, they departed on their separate ways.

X’yros had to duck from beneath the low-hanging canvas that almost hung down like a tent to be able to make it back to the street. He almost stepped onto a small child that came sprinting past. A few larger families made their ways up and down the street, yet all felt at peace. The shade was cool and refreshing on his darker skin, now he felt like he could certainly have used a nap. He released a sigh and continued down the street where he was seeing less and less people. His heavy feet clanked against the ground, and his crimson cape swept peacefully behind him which signaled his presence. X’yros paused and removed a sheet of hide from his belt that he had used to jot a few items he needed down, then he made a mental checklist.

Not even a moment later came the sound of high-pitched screaming, most likely the children that had ran past him. His friend let out a hellish groan. X’yros’s keen senses detected the sound of swords moving through flesh, and weapons beating down bodies. He remained frozen while he continued to listen, they must of have charged right where he had been.

Suddenly enraged and frightened of what might remain of his business partner, X’yros pivoted around like a whirlwind on his left leg. Sure enough, a group of armed people were striking down anyone they came into contact with, and on the ground was the crippled figure of the troll.

With a low, careful growl he tensed up and coiled his massive muscles while he gathered himself. As soon as his cape settled and rested upon his back, X’yros pushed off with an intense force. His ascend back up the street could easily be detected as the torrent beast made its way through through the streaming people. A woman fell victim beneath a foot of his mountainous body, and she was crushed beneath his weight. It was a quick death for her.

Madder than ever, X’yros charged like a bull, nothing could now help the group ahead of him. Only a few massive strides and he reached the armored people, of course his rage raining down upon them would certainly come as a surprise.

X’yros unhitched his spiked chain when he was only a stride away, and braked. His speed carried him a stride more. One, two… then one leg stayed put, while the other traveled with momentum  to stop the rest of his body from sliding forwards. However along with his leg, swung out his arm releasing the long, dagger-like chain. When it came around it immediately collided into the stone wall closest to him which sent a spray of debris and sparks, but then straightened out to equal the force of a full-swung sword. It tore into the tarps and smashed the material that held it and past the stand to reach a few of the armed members who had just attacked the vendors, hopefully they would of have spotted him heartbeats earlier and had already been on their way to duck beneath the razor-edge weapon that breathed of death.

X’yros prioritised making their life and whatever task they had, absolutely miserable. To him this was now personal. Mercy was not on his list for the day.

The guards did not know where the marksman was hiding, a huge advantage for Marcus. He shot another bolt to a guard, this one pierced the guard's knee, of course making him fall in pain. One guard sheated his weapon and went to help him, so the guard slowly took him to a safe place.

Reinforcements were coming, 9 more guards ran towards the gruesome place. Marcus shot two of them down, so only 7 troopers arrived. However, the guards were not the only problem, there was a… Human… Beast… Lizard? A halfling, part human and part… Something, something that the Fratis attackers did not know about, it looked like it was from another planet!

Gaius was the unlucky man who got hit by the spined chain in the back. His armor protected him from all damage, but Gaius still got strongly staggered by the surprise attack. Septimus and Arhoka saw how Gaius got attacked. Julius had just finished stabbing an armed adventurer who tried to fight back when he got warned by his comrades about the beasty man. The three of them were going to attack, while Brogrosh and Arcturus killed more citizens who tried to run away.

"HALT! You blood-thirsty bastards, stop right there or we'll KILL you!" Shouted the captain of the guards. They 7 of them surrounded the market area, ready to arrest them. Sadly, they misjudged the attackers, as the captain thought that the beast-like man was part of the gang of murderers, and attemped to arrest him too.

Brogrosh laughted and answered: 'You puny weakling, you will really challenge an orc tribal warrior? That's suicide, ha-ha!" The steel armored orc, with his spiked shield, buffalo horned helmet and orichalcum 2 handed war axe, charged towards the captain. With a brutal movement, he slashed his skull with the axe; the captain died. SHOT! Marcus shot one more guard, the soldiers charged to battle and began to fight. They attacked everyone, this included X-yros.

Annoyed that the building had taken most of the force out of his own, Xyros simply stepped back and attempted to get his rage under control. Of course he could kill them, but what's the point. Let them be destroyed and overcome by the guards. After a few heavy breathes, he was better.

The large towering creature exhaled an enormous snort of annoyance and replaced his knotched whip back to his thigh. He was about to turn and simply retrieve his belongings when something tinged against the metal plating on his lower back. He needn't turn, for his neck was long enough to cast his skull almost fully backwards over his shoulder. A small guard had struck him with a sword. X'yros simply stared at it and made no attempt to throw any effort into discipline. He yanked his crimson cape away grom the mans sword and watched the human simply retreated to the fight. His lack of action eliminated his threat level, he was of mo concern to any guard by now. The large dark-grey beast himself retreated from the scenes partially, but only to join the ranks of the guards in their circle. In fact, if you really wanted to be technical, he stood a step behind them. His highest paying client claimed guards that patrolled this city, though he didn't know if it were these ones specifically , and he had a feeling that she would be willing to pay a pretty penny for the heads of those orcs delivered to her on a silver platter if they cut her guards down. Seeing as the men mounted on horses were absent, these men probably didn't belong to her. There went his motivation for killing anything in hopes of riches.

Now he drew out his claymore from its sheath and planted the tip of the finely crafted weapon into the stones directly between his feet. The sword itself stood almost the height of a nearby guard, it came to X'yros' lower abdomen. He crossed his hands on the butt end of the sword and tucked his chin into his curving neck. This position resembled the enormous stone statues to the entrance of large civilizations, a symbol of guarding. Should any of the members break out of the ranks and attempt to flee, they would be cut down. Should they actually overtake the guards by some miracle, they would be cut down. Overall, their lives would most likely come to a brutal end by either the guard, or a very angry hunter revenging the death of a troll.

Arhoka the orc managed to kill one more guard, but one guard with a halberd struck her down. With three hits, he was able to break through her armor and deeply cut her stomach. She didn't die yet, but she fell to the ground unable to do anything, in some minutes, the lack of blood would be the orc's end.

Arcturus, Julius, Gaius and Septimus stepped back and with their long steel shields, made a barrier. This formation did not work perfectly with only 4 men, but it could be useful. Two guards tried to flank them, but one of them was taken down by Brogrosh, while the other was slashed by Gaius's sword.

Soon, more guards arrived to defend their city. Located in two different towers, 5 archers were ready to shoot down the attackers. They understood the big creature was not a threat, so they ignored him. Arcturus was shot by an archer in his neck, it was a quick and un-expected death for the swordman. One archer tried to shoot Julius too, but his large shield covered him.

Marcus quickly saw the archers and with his crossbow he killef one of them, then hid again to reload. Two archers ran to the towers Marcus was in, but they didn't know he was there. Marcus easily caught them by surprise; he stabbed one of them with a short sword then pushed the other from the large towers.

Brogrosh' huge body made it easy to kill one guard. When the guard tried to cut him with his sword, he blocked his attack and then killed him with the axe. One archer tried to shoot him down, but he used the corpse of the guard as a shield. Meanwhile, a soldier injuried Gaius's leg with a sword. He fell to the ground, but when the trooper was about to kill him, Gaius used a spell that made the guard weaker. So weak, that he dropped his sword and shield, for they were too heavy now. His armor was too heavy too, he fell to the ground unable to move due to the weight of the equipment.

Julius got shot by an archer in the back. The arrow could not pierce his thick chestplate, so he was not injuried. Marcus shot one swordman again, while Julius yelled to his companions: "There are too many of them and we are losing people! Use your magic and obliterate them!" He dropped his sword and shield and used a blessing spell, one spell that made gave him supernatural strenght, for 5 minutes. He grabbed a halberd from a dead body and threw it at a guard, killing him. The few remaining guards were routing now, running from battle. Brogrush stared at the big creature and said: "What about you, tough guy? Ready to die? Come on, your height is nothing against an orc!" The orc held his big axe, ready to attack the big warrior.

His position shifted slightly with discomfort when a few more dismembered bodies toppled upon the ground. The reeking stench of blood drifted upwards beneath the sun's heating beams. It tickled the thin slitted nostrils that immediately opened while X'yros drank in the scent with a growing hunger. His head was tilted to the side to gain closer access to the pooling crimson, but this opened the shadow up from his helmet and allowed the sun to blindingly strike his eyes. The golden muscles in his iris constricted his oval pupils to nothing more than thin black skits while his vision adjusted to watch the scene play out.

He squinted through the glaring sun to make out a figure that now approached him welding an axe. X'yros swung his massive head back around and remained unmoving with his feet already squared up. His grip on his sword tightened until his claws tapped the metal and he pushed himself into a taller more flexed position. The joints in his knees and heels popped audibly when they lofted his weight and strait energy his hunched pose. The leather straps that connected his armor began to groan while his muscles tightened and bulged beneath them, his armor quietly clicked together on the back of his neck as he raised his skull.

After a moment, the intimidating frame of the behemoth grew quiet, all except his deeper breathing. Another few seconds passed whole the orcs babbled on with words X'yros didn't understand. His animalistic behavior was beginning to take play and instead of focusing on language, his brain began to direct the orcs and humans. Visions of sinking his conical fangs into their squirming or lifeless bodies flashed in his mind. His cravings to tear into their soft pink fleshy organs quickly turned into urges. The orcs took another step closer.

Something gathered in his chest and began to steadily intensify in tone, it was the sound of a low forming growl that ripped through his throat and jiggled the hanging flap of deep purple flesh beneath his neck. The growl ripped out of his throat with the intensity of a motorcycle revving its engine. It was so deep at times that it had the sound of rolling thunder.
X'yros was giving the orc one of the simplest warnings known to history, one that was given from the smallest to largest animals on the planet that they were just moments from striking if one more step was taken.

Once this beast engaged in blood luster near dinner time, all bets were off.

Marcus shot down another archer with his crossbow, once again he was unseen. Meanwhile on the battlefield, the guards went low. The poorly trained city guards were barely a match for the elite Fratis warriors. 6 more spear armed troopers came to defend the city once more.

Brogrush smirked in an arrogant way when he saw the large creature's growl. "Think you can scare me? What do you think I am? A coward?! You dare to call an orc chieftain a coward?" The orc showed his lower fangs. They were very big and sharp. The red war paint on his face and his finely made armor were as intimidating as his huge orichalcum war axe. "You have guts…" Said Brogrush. 'Too bad you won't have a head after I'm done with you!" He yelled. Insulting an orc tribe chief is considered suicide… And they get easily offended.

Meanwhile, Gaius sheated his sword. The spearmen were confused, but when they saw him raising his hand, they charged to kill him. Sadly for them, Gaius conjured a dagger storm spell, which summoned hundreds of magical daggers that dissapeares as soon as they hit a target. The 6 spearmen had no shields, so the summoned daggers easily ended their lives.

Brogrush raised his big war axe as he charged to the huge creature. If the creature did not at least block, his head would be chopped in two halves by the gigantic weapon. The orc's torso seemed and was nearly impenetrable. The orchish craftmen were able to do armor as strong as a stone wall. The only way of defeating this orc would be with magic, hitting the small un-covered areas or having siege artillery weapons, which would be very unlikely in this situation.

Septimus listened to something… suspicious. As if someone was hiding beneath a wooden container, used for the horses to drink water in. He grabbed a spear from a corpse and instantly pierced the container with it. Blood came from it with a last scream. Seemed like some citizen was hiding there. How unlucky… Julius looked at Septimus and asked: "Should we help Brogrush? That armored scumbag looks strong, maybe we could take him down in a four gainst one?" Septimus glared at the towers and answered: "There are archers in there, and there will be more of them. Let Brogrush have his duel, we'll take the marksmen… GAIUS! Follow me! You too, Julius!"

The air was heavy with action and the strong heat from the powerful noon sun. The smaller battle that was occurring was in the open beneath the unbearable heat. X'yros stood beneath the partial shade casted by a looming building, his radiant golden eyes were exposed to the light but he remained vigilant in his guarding pose, even when the shadow of a crazed orc charged towards him. X'yros mentally timed his movement, his body tensed and his muscles coiled for a more surprising attack as his opponent was a bit too predictable. Of course he'd be prepared for an axe swinging maniac with no sense of discipline.

X'yros was still in place when the orc began to raise his axe above his head, when it fully stretched back, that's when X'yros shifted his hips. As soon as the orc began to move the weapon forward with collecting power and speed, X'yros firmly planted his left foot while passing his sword to his left hand. The axe came bearing down upon him, and that's exactly when one simple motion came into play. X'yros pivoted on his left foot with perfected agility and opened his body up, stopping only when his right foot came in line with his left. He also straightened his arm in the movement so that the tip of his sword was brought upwards and aimed for the orc's tiny little eye in the gap of his helm where his grubby face stuck out. As X'yros' body cleared the path of the downward swinging weapon, he also used his own body's energy to glide slightly forwards before again firmly planting his feet, bringing his sword into contact with the orcs' face that was following the movement of his axe. He also used the momentum from the orc, letting the gravity continue to pull his opponent deeper into his sword while he practically fell into X'yros' weapon.

X'yros felt as if he was executing this entire scene in slow motion; he felt the wind of the weapon pass by his body, heard the slicing of material as the axe cut nothing but his cape, smelled the foul-carrion scent of the orc's roaring breath, felt the heat of the day, and the satisfaction that overcame him when the sound of flesh being ton into by his own weapon hit his ears.

A growl of pain came out from the orc's mouth. He was used to pain, but never a claymore in the face. The orc's thick skull made him survive the hit… But at what cost? One of his eyes was permanently damage; it seemed that Brogrush' right eye became blind. The big orc, bleeding a lot from his face, walked several steps back with his axe in one hand and the other hand covering his face.

"Argh! H-how dare you!? Do you know what have you done? Give up while you s-still can and I'll let you live..!" Outraged, Brogrush grabbed a tomahawk axe from his side and threw it as fast as he could. The throw was more accurate than expected, coming from a recently half blinded orc. If the beast didn't quickly dodge the axe, he'd be in trouble.

The orc, full of anger, held his axe with both his hands, ready to attack once more. His fresh injury wasn't a reason to stop fighting… It was a reason to fight harder and put this animal in it's place!

Meanwhile, 3 guards tried to defend the tower's stairs from the human warriors. Septimus' sword began to glow as a green fire came out of it. He was a skilled battlemage, so this battle was not as hard as expected. A green fire ball came out from his sword as it burned to death one soldier, then Julius stabbed the other soldier's side. The last soldier tried to hold the enemies back with his spear but Julius cut his hand off and murdered him.

Marcus poisoned more of his bolts, then he shot another archer down. The bolt hit his leg, but the venom would do the rest. However, this time the other soldiers saw the hidden crossbowman and ordered five soldiers to go to his tower. The whole city of Adeluna knew about the attack, and 25 troopers were approaching. In a few minutes, the place would be flooded with soldiers.
