Always moving, always being forced from whatever scraps he was forced to call home. It had happened far too many times since his arrival in this land and Logan was growing desperately sick of this nonsense. That, in turn, fueled his cruelty in his hunts even further, not that it ever sated him when reality settled and the rush died down from the kill. It often left him dissatisfied and pissed off. But it mattered not in the end; he would have to abandon his little home near the lake when the locals were being scared off and those traveling took more scenic routes, avoiding his path entirely.

Pains of hunger drove him to make this radical decision, which only added fuel to the flames of hatred he had buried deep in his dead heart. The long, tedious trek often left Logan exhausted and his thirst worsened. Only when he had managed to find Jayou, a city that he only loose stories about back in Adeluna, did he manage to pull himself through and get himself onto one of those gaming ships. One attendee made the misfortune of crossing paths with him, mistaking him as someone in distress, and offered to help him back into his room. Logan eagerly accepted and they went below the deck and into a room he claimed to have reserved. Good fortune greeted him with the room being empty and he thrusted the confused man into the room and slammed it shut before pouncing on him and a struggle ensued. Despite his weakened state, Logan greedily plunged his fangs into him and fed as if he never did before.

By the end, he stripped the dead man of his clothing and donned it himself. A little tight for his liking, and there was blood around the collar, but the crafty vampire would find a quick explanation should the occasion arise as he resurfaced. At least now he was disguised and could stake out those with both riches and vulnerabilities among them.
