It never took long for the rumors to spread across the city. The moment one person noticed the strange rune circle, it took barely a day for everyone to gossip bustling about it. It was a message from one of the deity, inviting them to celebrate with him. Rhea knew well of the god from her aunt and was curious what he was planning. He was a magic man, to say the least, and she could only assume all the tricks he was planning in his home. She had heard that the way to accept the invitation was to step through the strange gate but she had yet to hear what exactly occurred on the other side. It only helped to grow her curiosity. She had to know.

The siren made sure to shower and tie up her mess of curls in a high ponytail. She picked out one of her comfortable dresses and hide a pair of boots underneath. No one would notice that she was not wearing slippers with a dress, or even a corset, and if they did she would not care. They could be astonished all they wanted. The dresses wrapped tightly around her torso in fabric but loosened at hips, showing off the mixture of fabric. Her dress almost looked like the aurora itself with a beautiful dance of pinks, blues, and yellows. The combination making a sea of other shades dance around her.

The woman had always been very big on strange materials and the shifting of color. It would be simple to say that she spent a lot of coins on her clothing if it had not been her love for weaving and tailoring. It came with her skills of other forms of weaving that part of her training she had weaved cloth. When she found herself with too much cloth, it turned into her tailoring clothing. It was obviously a downslope from there.

A smiled drifted on her lips as her fingers touched against the runes of the gate. Rhea was ready to take on the challenge. Before taking a step through the gate, she whispered a small prayer to her aunt. She had a feeling that she would need it. Out of instinct she held her breath and stepped through the gate letting the world behind her disappeared. She had never been to her uncle’s temple. She had traveled to see her aunt many times but never taken the time to really explore what his home had to offer. The idea of calling him uncle was already strange enough that she wanted to take it one step at a time.

A new world took shape in front of her and she turned to find nothing but a wall behind her. There was no turning back and it made her heart flutter. She was growing more excited by the moment. It was far darker here than the city she had just been in. Thick hedges followed her wherever and there was no way to see through the dark shade of black and purple. She was not about to try to find out what happened if she teleported or flew. She would just need to continue forward and follow her gut.

Vinsue had learned of the mysterious magic circle at a bar. She was all for it now that she had her kids back. Vinsue was in her simple light brown robes as she came to the gate. Her hood up over her cloud white hair. Two foot long dragons sit on her shoulders. A white one with a black mane sat on the right shoulder and a black one with white striped wings sat on the other shoulder.

She stepped through the portal against the squeaks of the hatchlings, which went quiet on the other side. She looked at the walls quickly realizing that it was a maze. She decided to go state. soon she took a right, then a right, then stopped as she looked at a very colorful dress a woman was wearing. the lack of light was no problem for her sight. the white on the dragons were glowing ever since they walked into the maze. She decided not to say anything about the dress as she chose to take a left and kept walking.

The further that the siren traveled into the maze the darker it became. There was a simple trick that her father had taught her growing up to allow her eyes to see clearer in the dark. It was a simple enough spell that she could channel it without a single glimmer that she was casting a spell. It worked almost the same way as her siren’s tune. Her never shimmered or changed colors when she cast certain types of spells. She wondered if the more she trained the easier it would become to cast spell ‘simply’. The green shift to her hazel eyes normally was a large give away that she was casting a spell. It was a unique but curious trait that made her special. It was also a small hint that her siren blood was not exactly pure. Sadly, that same blood still kept her from being able to use some abilities that her dad used.

Rhea would never reach the scale of her father but she did want to make her uncle proud. She wanted them all to see that she could be strong in her own way. Her mother was a powerful woman and she grew into one too. She was no longer the girl they knew. This was her chance and she was going to make all of them proud. She just needed to find herself out of the labyrinth. Sadly, she was not sure where to even begin. What short time she was running after the turns, she found herself back where she had begun. It appeared that she had gone in a circle. A grumble escapes her lips, it was obviously not that way.

It was then that a strange light drifted down the path. Rhea’s eyes squinted at the light whispering something under her breath to rid the night eyesight. It appeared that she was actually not alone in the maze. She had no idea that her uncle was allowing multiple people in the labyrinth at once. The woman with two small dragons on her shoulder stared at her for a moment before continuing down the path. It was actually the same path that she had just gone down. There was a moment where she just watched the woman. She was unsure how the maze functioned but it was probably a bad idea to go the same way that caused Rhea to walk in a circle.

” You may wish to choose a different course. I was just down that way and look at where I am now. There is a chance that it will maze will open up something different for you, but the same it may be fated for us to meet in this maze. For me… to warn you…” Rhea gave a sweet smile as she watched the other woman. She was unsure if they would even listen to her or react at all to her words. In the end, it was the stranger’s path to take.

Vinsue stopped and turned. "That pathway leads back hear. Well guess its time to turn back and try again." She said as she simply stood there. She could let some treasure at the end call but she had learned better not long ago.

Vinsue looked around than at the woman and started talking. "So what do you know of the maze were in." She said after a wile the mostly blue Dragon jumped off her shoulder and started messing with the vins between the paths.

The otjere turned and did the same than both yeaped at the same time. Vinsue turned and saw the round medal they uncovered. "Good job." She said as they returned to there perch on her shoulder. "Perhaps you went in a circle do to the lack of salving the puzzle."  She said looking over the pictures.

Rhea’s sweet smile never left her lips as she watched the stranger stop and turn to her. It appeared that she was going to take her advice on the road ahead. She found it interesting that the stranger was actually going to take her advice. She trusted her enough to not believe that she was speaking lies. How did either of them know that the other was not an actual puzzle to solve? Her head tilted a little as the woman began to talk to her about what she knew of the maze.

“I know that there will be puzzles to solve to make to the other side,” Rhea answered. She had no reason to lie to the woman. It held no interest to lie to someone when there was no conclusion to the outcome of the lie. There was no telling if she was lying because the maze had messed with her. “The god loves magic and seeing how someone thinks to get through the challenges. He also loves to see the wits of someone.” There was a soft giggle that left her lips.

Rhea was not about to tell the strange everything she knew about the said god. She really found no need to mention the fact that he was her uncle. It held no merit in this labyrinth. It would most likely make someone believe he was easily going harder or easier on her. The two dragons that rested on the stranger’s shoulder turned and hopped off one after the other. Her body shifted as she glanced at them, keeping an eye on what they were doing. Maybe there was something that she missed?

They began to start making noise as they messed with something in the veins. Her head tilted a little as the stranger turned to look at what her companions were doing. It appeared that they had found something and when she spoke out to Rhea, she moved closer to take a closer look. They found a medal laying in the vines. “That could be very possible. I would never put it past him to hide something just to let someone walk in a circle. I guess it was a good idea when I stopped you, you could have continued to walk right past it yourself.” She let out a soft laugh and held her hands behind her back. ”Question is, what is that for? I would assume, you do something with it.”

Her eyes shifted to the area before noticing that there was suddenly a new opening behind them. A grin crossed her lips and she exclaimed, “Now, that seems like a perfect clue. There is a new path behind us now.” She was absolutely loving this labyrinth so far. It reminded her of something her father would make.

Vinsue picked up the medal peace cautiously. She had robed enough graves to be wary of booby traps. A path opened up witch was a great clue that answered the woman's question. Vinsue looked at the path, the now obvious choice. "Well, you're right I would have missed it had you not stopped me. You would have never seen the path either." Aqua squawked at Vinsue for a moment. She noded than looked back at the woman. "Want to team up?"

"You said the god behind the maze loved to test people. may I ask which god is behind this?" At this point, she figured it was one of two gods. one she would love to see and show her kids, the other she would gladly scratch up. But that was not the point of coming.

Vinsue walked into the new opening and kept an eye out for some other clue or puzzle.
