The peace wouldn’t last for long. This stand still of life and death was growing boresome real quick for the ill tempered man as he furiously paced back and forth. With death becoming an impossible option now and being left without the ability to end lives, Steele couldn’t release his pent up frustration the only way he knew how. He could feel his rage scratching at him vigorously, wanting to be free and yet there was no way he could. “Damn Goddesses!”, he seethed through his clenched jaw as he kicked at a large tree. The force was enough to shake it a bit but keep it intact. Steele glared at it before kicking again, picturing that it was one of the deities that had wronged him in this matter. If only he could get his hands on them, he’d rip off their heads with glee. But he was told to stay back, that his temper was a liability by his father. The chosen children were all suppose to keep out of sight for the time being, that their enemies were doing all the work for them and all they needed to do for now was lay low until it was time to strike. Steele, however, took it upon himself to reach out to one of his brothers. Dante, for all his faults relating to his inability to think with the right head at times was indeed the smarter and more reliable than Colden. Not to mention that he wasn’t suppose to know about his non-Rosenite kin yet. None of the sisters held his interest either, each of them were too far into their own vices to care about the predicament the realm suffered through. Besides, there was plenty of information that the Rabbit had that he didn’t share with anyone other than Father. Clearly, the Wolf’s mission in this was to shake him of any of it for his own need. After kicking the tree a few more times, he went back to pacing, growling amongst himself as he waited for him to show up. For his sake, he had better not have been in a position where his pants was down, or else he was going to do the realm a favor and slice something off.
