It had been ages since Cerberus was out on an adventure. Spending time as a temple cat can get boring after awhile. So he packed up his stuff, and head out into the world. He was hiding out in the Haza Savanna. Naturally being a shapeshifter himself, he got along naturally with the locals. They but him up for the night, and he had some drinks while they talked over some maps of the region. One pointed out an old ruin to the west of this tiny village. They said the ancients abandoned it long ago because of the vicious wild life that dwell within. Though they can't say much for now, because nobody has gone in. Those who approach it say they hear strange noises, this intrigued him.

Later that night he arrived in the ruins. The walls were green, as they were covered by a very dense moss. He scrapped a piece off, and examined it. There was decades of plant growth that had seized the ruins. He was used to seeing these scenes. Ancient ruins reclaimed by nature, after centuries of no one tending to them. Trees would appear around the perimeter on soft ground, sometime within the grounds, and the gardens would be over grown with weeds. On the lower levels he had to take side passages, because of random roots from trees growing through the wall.

This section was harder to traverse. He squeezed through a vine, and arrived at an open chamber. Inside the chamber was an open chest. The stone chest was opened recently he could tell, looks like it was forced open. The lid was halfway across the room, smashed into pieces. He approached, and looked into the chest. There was nothing but a small piece of paper left inside. In a flash someone picked Cerberus up, and threw him across the room. Out of the shadows stepped one of the Bor Seta, he wore the clothing of the bear tribe, and had the strength to match. Cerberus looked up to see the blurry figure approaching him slowly. Blood dripped onto the floor from a small wound on his head. The blood mixed with his orange hair as he stood up, but stumbled back over.

Aqua had been in the inn when the people were talking over the map. Technically she was hired to find the location of the old ruin and had completed her job without being noticed and reported to her employers. 

Two men met her at the entrance of there tent not far from the town. But she had decided to go to the ruins and did not want company. "Well i got the info now where is the captain." She said before being directed inside the tent. On the table was a map and some coins. In the end the map had a mark that was supposed to show where the ruins were but led to a dead end and she had the coin sacks in her bag. 

She than switched to her dragon form and headed towards the ruins untell she spoted the orange haired boy from the inn and followed without a sound. At the ruins she only fallowed his sent but noticed that his was not the only one. Sinceing the trap she walked faster. She stopped as she saw the guy be tossed across the room. In a split second her reasoning shut off.

She ran straight for the Bor Seta and pounced to land on his back. Her claws dug deep as her fangs ripped at his collarbone untell he fell over and stopped moving. She than stepped off much of her mouth and calws dropped with crimson as she turned to find his buddies and repeated the attack before being tossed across the room. Quickly landing on her feet and pounced never makeing a sound as she took the guy down. She only stopped and looked a the three once they were dead. Realizing what she did she backed up than turned to hide as she composed herself and attempted to clean the blood off her scales.

Cerberus heard the sounds of battle as something tore through his assailants. He stood steady, and saw blurs move around the chamber. His eyes still had a small amount of blood in them. Blinking he tried to clear them out but it was no good. He stumbled forwards towards the noise of battle as he head the first one fall. Several more voices filled the chamber as the battle continued.

Using a cloth Cerberus had wiped enough blood out of his eyes to get a clear vision. Amidst the chaos and fighting was something that astounded him. Even more he was curious. It was a dragon, it had pure white scales, and a beautiful black mane of fur. It moved with grace and ferocity as it tore out the Bor Seta's throats and clawed them to death.

As the battle drew to a close the dragon darted out of the room. Cerberus was stunned, a random dragon showed up, killed his attackers but left him be. Maybe he had a guardian angel. But then again he never usually had such good luck, as was made evident by the situation. He carefully went through the belongings of his attackers. They didn't have much, and there wasn't much left behind. However he did find a very fancy looking collar in one of their pockets. He shrugged, and put it in his bag. “Hey I want to thank you!,” Cerberus called, “I won't harm you, you don't have to hide.” His ears flicked as he tried to detect the faintest sound of anyone breathing.

Aqua was stunned at what she had done. Being an earth dragon she respected life and the fact she took it was enough to frighten her but the fact she did it without thinking or choice scared her more. But at the moment she decided not to think on it as she attempted to lick off the blood and would quickly spit the salty red liquid out of her mouth not liking the taist. Those sounds could be hurd if someone was listening.

At the human like voice and language she stepped. She halfway feared that she would do the attack again without thinking but after a minute of not doing it she relaxed. She did not know that she sparred one or why he was grateful of what she did before she started to here his voice.

She did not move or talk at hin but remained hidden. After a while she started to try and clean herself again. To no prevail.

Whom ever it was, they were definitely trying their best to stay quiet, and hidden. He was confused as to why a dragon was here to begin with. Dragons aren't uncommon, but he never heard of any residing in this area, or the ruins themselves. Though it was not out of the question for a ruin guardian not showing themselves until they were sure no one could escape, and tell the story. Maybe the wild creatures they said inhabited the ruins were actually this dragon. But then again, any local dragons would have brown or sand colored skin, not white. They generally also don't hang out is ruins so cramped as this one. He had to squeeze through he could only imagine what the dragon had to do to get in here.

He heard something liquid hit the ground. His sharp sense of hearing picked up the direction easy. He glanced toward the dark corner of the room. “Now now, no need to hide,” he said in a sweet voice, as he tried to focus into the darkness. Nothing, it must be hiding behind a wall or something. As skittish as it was he could only guess that it wasn't a fighter. Sometimes you would come upon dragons that won't really attack anyone, and they make great companions. He relished the thought of having his own pet dragon. The cat part of him was a bit greedy, and wanted a pet dragon more. He just wouldn't mention that part to it yet.

He started slowly approached the corner, and switched to his cat from. The fur matched the orange hair hair, and flowed freely. It was long hair but neat;y groomed. He was prideful of his beautiful coat, and was almost kept in a few places because of it, but doesn't like to sit around for to long in one place. His steppes were much more quiet as he hurried across the dark room toward the location of the sound. He rounded the corner, and saw the dragon attempting to clean itself. He put on the charm of his cat form, and mewed at her softly.

Hearing the cat she stopped cleaning her leg and looked at it. She was unaware of cats being in the rains but as many of them as there was in the town it did not surprise her. But where did the twolegged go? She got up and walked to the corner and looked around surprised to not see him although his smell was still strong.

Well that ment that only a cat was there to see her and the mess. She walked by the cat and to the chest. She jumped to sit on the edge as she reached in to inspect the letter left behind. Some of the blood dropped onto the paper luckily on the blank side of the paper. She managed to flip the paper despite the fact she can repet and redraw maps she could not read and could only guess what it said.

She tossed it out of the chest and hopped into it where she laid down. Her white scales glowed a light blue except were the blood was. The color were the blood was was a slight red so to the mix of blood and glow. Her skin would start to heat as she tryed to dry thr blood so it would flake off. She had ignored the cat like many do bugs and lizards as they go about.

The cat made the meow equivalent of a sigh as the dragon left to the other side of the room. It was playing hard to get. Cerberus decided to meow very loudly in it's direction. The dragon had twice chose to avoid him, and he was slowly getting irritated. What is this dragon up to? It seemed to be acting very skittish, yet not 10 minutes ago it was slaughtering a room full of people. He himself was use to seeing death, and has had to defend himself a few times.

The cat darted across the room, and approached the chest. The dragon was just climbing into the chest, and laying down. He approached the letter that the dragon had discarded. It stood over it, and slowly skimmed the letter. It was some kind of order for the removal of whatever valuables were in this ruin for a decent amount of silver. He flipped it over, and saw the blood. This must mean it had still not gotten clean.

He hopped up onto the ledge, and glanced into the chest. The dragons scales were glowing blue. The sight astounded him as he continued to watch. The wave of heat caused him to step back a little bit. He continued to watch the blood dry on it's scales for a bit. His quiet presence was announced by a sneeze that came out quite suddenly. “Excuse me,” he said out loud instead of meowing. In a quick try to rectify the situation he smiled widely, and meowed, he knew that wouldn't work, and became nervous.

The sneeze startled her and she immediately looked up. Here glowing scales and heat immediately stopped as a way of hidding. And she saw it talk human language. She narrowed her eyes at its atempt to hide the fact it talked.

She was not going to talk but keep to her animal like sounds. She sniffed the cat than sneezed between her feet. It was the guy she had tracked here. Her stomach rumbled which in turn caused her to do a quick whine. 

She was hungry but wanted to get clean before trying to eat. She kept watching the cat but hoped out of the chest and started rubbing on the chest in attempt to get the dryed blood of. Luckily it was working.

Cerberus watched in silence as the dragon stared up at him. If he was in human form this would've been the time a sweat drop comically slid down his face. The heat had stopped radiating off it's body and the scales themselves stopped glowing. It was clearly annoyed he thought. He knew bothering a resting dragon was a bad idea but really he didn't care at this point.

The dragon leaped out of the chest, and landed on the floor next to it. It's gaze stayed upon the cat as it began to rub against the chest. The cat tilted it's head amused at what the dragon was doing. It watched as blood flaked off, and landed on the floor. It was still covered in blood, which is why it was probably trying to just relax, and most likely burn it off. But Cerberus had just bothered it twice during it's cleaning process.

Cerberus shifted to face the dragon. Then in a few seconds he was sitting on the edge of the chest in his human form. He ran his hand through his orange hair then smiled at the dragon. He reached into his bag, and retrieved a grooming kit. It contained various implements for grooming oneself, but he was after on item in particular, a brush. On the brush was a porous stone. “Come here,” he said in a soft voice, he motioned with the brush, “It's called pumice, it should help rub off the blood without being rough on your scales.” He smiled widely, he was hoping this would work.

Her suspension was confirmed when the cat switched forms. She stopped immediately and watched as he fooled with the bag and pulled out the brush.  Aqua was slow to walk over and smell the brush. Like most wild animals she was ready to dash away if any danger was to show. 

She understand his words and was more than ready to get the annoying stuff off. She stepped her front legs onto the cheat next to him and watched. She would let him help with most of it.
