Caitriona

Character Info
Name: Caitriona
Age: Unknown
Alignment: TE
Race: Faerie
Gender: Female
Class: Sorceress
Silver: 31
Often the world of man forgets the dangers of what is lurking in the night, hubris being the main downfall of mortals, short-lived and even shorter sighted. It was what made it the spice of life for the fae, self-important mortals wandering where none should tread. A feral smile illuminated the dark, bright emerald eyes twinkling as a twig snapped in the distance. Someone had come to call upon the inhabitants of the forest. Someone that did not know, or did not care, about the danger that dwelled here.

Fools, as a general rule, decided to walk into the depths of the forest of the night, inviting those that hunted in the light of the moon to prey upon them. After a hundred or more winters, one began to get bored with the easy kills. After all, what fun was the prey that walked into the trap? Ennui was an all-consuming state of being these days for the fae, at least this one, while the rest frolicked in the shadows and enjoyed the ease.

Honestly, where does one find intelligence in these parts… she thought, a delicate step finding purchase in the autumn slicked leaves of the undergrowth. It was the Autumn moon this night, bright and full as the light filtered green through the canopy of the forest.

Caitriona, Cait to those that knew her well, was born of the ice and cold and embraced the coming chill in the air as she did a languid turn to an unheard tune. This, this here was a peace that she had not known in some time. For prey was afoot, and she was bound to find them when the gods deemed it.
Raul

Character Info
Name: Raul D'Angelo
Age: About 600
Alignment: LN
Race: Werewolf
Gender: Unspecified
Class: Lord
Silver: 223
These parts of the woods weren't his forte. To be honest, Raul would very much rather avoid these woods in particular. It wasn't that he had anything to fear from this place; it was more so that there were too many distractions in this lawless jungle. Whether it was the fae and their particular sense of humor or, the witches here that would see out a hand or eye out of some unsuspecting fool or anything in between. One could just simply pick a reason and he'd be satisfied. But no, he was requested to seek out something that could only be found here. Some sort of fruit that was said to have mystical properties. It sounded like rubbish to him, but the reward was the only thing that convinced him to accept it.

But he wouldn't be stupid to seemly go here ill-prepared. If he was to head there, he would make damn sure that nothing would want to interfere with his search.

And that's what he did.

A bulky jet colored wolf prowled the grounds, moving with slight arrogance with each stride he took. His amber eyes illuminated in the moon lite forest as he prowled about, searching for a tree containing said fruit. Perhaps he should have taken much more care in drawing attention to himself, but at the time, he was positive that he would go on undisturbed by the inhabitants. That was until he encountered a beast that made him stop in his tracks.

A creature that seemed to be crafted of different, various animals, the likes of which he had never met before. But even so, the wolf could tell that it was dangerous. While Raul would have turned away and avoided confrontation, the beast would spare him no such blessing. It launched itself at him and the two became to tussle. Fangs and claws flew about and found their marks as the two became entangled in and deadly ball. The beast was slightly bigger and stronger, much to his dismay, but Raul was faster on his feet and used it to his advantage. Before too long, the wolf managed to slip to his adversary's back and buried his maw into the back of its neck. The beast wailed and tried to throw him off, but the lupine would remain until he was able to crush the neck and cause the beast to fall onto the ground.

Releasing it, he licked at his bloody mouth and carried on with his search.
