Cha'Kwe'Tza stood at a rough stone wall that came to his waist. The ruined stonework was all that remained of the burned out human village aside from the odd scrap of charred timber here and there. Approximately a dozen houses had probably made up the village when it was still being lived in, but the couple caved in foundations marking old cellars that lost the battle against time made figuring out the exact number difficult. Off in the distance, Cha'Kwe'Tza looked out over the rolling hills that spread as far as he could see. Here and there the odd scraggly tree stood, but the few he could mark all looked weak enough to be up-rooted with one hand and a sharp tug. To his left, about one hundred feet away there was a lake that the villagers had most likely used as a fishing and recreational swimming hole. Having jumped in a few hours earlier, Cha'Kwe'Tza failed to spot any fish that he considered eating, but then he never gave a thorough search. He was a little pressed for time though, which made his swim a short one.We have 1767 registered users.
