Vinsue said something about the ice element being different from her element, and then spoke louder to ask if anyone was hungry. Coiv nodded and replied, "Now that I think about it, I am hungry. I don't mind what it is to eat. Where are you going to get the food?" She asked, curious about what type of food she would get. She stood up and stretched her legs. Maybe it would be the same as how she got food, maybe it would be different. Coivaqile was curious.

"Just waight that will change as instinct takes over you will get a hord." she said.
"Being of the Ice element i guess you may not shed as I have." she said then washed as the other two did their things. than realised that she was hungry. "
im a bit hungry so i was wondering if i was the only one and if not what you all prefer to eat." she said a bit louder so everyone could hear.
She two was wondering what the others called themselves but she decided against asking and presenting her own tell it became important or was brought up.

"There are so few of us out there now that it can be a long time between seeing another of our type. Only the wise and strong survive and even than we get hunted. I have learned it best to keep the fact of our species secrete near two leggeds or they may panic and try to hunt you. Anyways I am 200 years of age and my breath types are fire and electricity." She paused and asked some odd questions. "So have you started hoarding yet or shedding your scale? Also if you have any questions just ask. I may not know everything but i can do my best."
"Hoarding, no. I have few belongings," she answered Vinsue's first question. "But shedding my scales? I don;t know what that is, so I don't think so."
Coivaqile looked up as the centaur entered ducking her head and was followed by the other girl. The centaur propped herself down on some smooth stone. She watched as the other one prepared some sort of liquid and applied it to the centaurs injured leg. Coivaqile realized that she didn't know their names. She decided to ask sometime soon once they were all settled.
((I messaged you Vinsue, but just to tell everyone. SOLs (the big end of the year exams in my state) and language exams have started and are scheduled for about a month from now. I also am unfortunately sick, so I will probably post less, bu I will try.))

Liselotte was pleased at the mare's reply, and beamed with a smile. "Wonderful, simply wonderful! I'll take care to add some soothing herbs so it'll sting less." She followed the centaur into the cave, stepping carefully when crossing areas with gravel. Her boots were sturdy and made for hiking, but she wouldn't count on using them to climb a cliff. There was not enough traction, and they were far too worn for that. Setting her bag down, she produced an alchemist's kit from her carrying case. Inside said case was lined with various glass and metal bottles, all labelled with symbols or some kind of shorthand. Some of the bottles were transparent, while others were darkly colored and opaque.
Selecting a few of the clear glass vials filled with dried and crushed remains of leaves and flowers, the alchemist nimbly set some water to boil to soften the herbs. There were other more specialized and odd looking glassware in her kit too, but those were not needed for something as simple as this. Taking out a clean set of bandages, she dipped them in the boiling water with a pair of metal tongs she had held over a flame, wrung out the extra water, and then used it to strain the reconstituted herbs into a paste. The smell given off by the heating of the herbal powders was strong and floral, more like medicine and less like a strong tea. She then allowed the water to cool while she prepared the poultice until it was lukewarm, then used it to rinse the centaur's wound to remove any dried blood and dirt. Satisfied that all debris and foreign irritants were gone, she applied the poultice and tied it around the leg to cover the wound. Knotting the bandage so it fit snugly, Liselotte stepped back to admire her work.
"There, that should do it. I took care to counterbalance the disinfecting herbs astringency with cooling balm. Though it won't make the wound close up in a day, it should keep it from getting infected and quicken the healing process." Putting away her bottles and cleaning her glassware she asked the mare: "How does it feel now? If you're feeling uncomfortable, let me know straight away." She saw that the other two seemed to be getting along quite well, bonding through sharing life experiences. She saw the younger one use fire magic to set the kindling ablaze, and smiled. She herself had a stronger affinity with the earth than fire due to her heritage, and didn't show much magical talent until her early adolescence. Perhaps it was fate that she came to learn the field that complemented her own capabilities best.

(Exams are over so I'm back! At least for the summer anyway)
Paradox made her way down the road, her limp making her gait rather uneven and jerky compared to her normal self. The woman quickened her pace and caught up to her as she walked. She seemed very bright and talkative and Paradox didn't mind her company. "You may accompany me," she said, giving her a flick of the ear and a downward glance. She continued to ask her questions and the centaur paid mind to them. "I am not sensitive to plants and flowers, at least not those of a natural origin. I should be fine with whatever remedy you can concoct."
She paused momentarily and watched as the two younger girls behind turned off the road and headed toward a small outcropping of rock. It was evidently a cave of some sort, set deep into the stone and shielded from the road by a grove of small bushes. It seemed safe and didn't appear to attract any unwanted attention from the roadside. It was rather low, but she thought she would be able to fit inside, even if she had to duck her head some. The more she stayed near human dwellings the more she was becoming accustomed to ducking her head, due to their low ceilings and even lower doorways. She had never met a human as tall as her, and she doubted she ever would.
She carefully turned and walked back to the entrance of the cave, being careful of her footing and ducking her head so as not to hit it on the rock. She tried to be quiet as she entered to avoid disrupting the two girls conversation. They were discussing their histories, and she figured it was best if she didn't pay attention so that their lives may be kept private. She went to the edge of the cave opposite the girls and found an area of smooth stone to lie on. She slowly folded her legs up underneath of her massive body and flopped carefully onto her side, allowing her wounded leg to stretch out behind her.
She took up a vast expanse of the cave, but not so much that the three women couldn't walk around and do other activities. She watched as the youngest girl grabbed a handful of sticks and then light them on fire with a wave of her hand. This intrigued her and she wondered about her magical abilities, whether as a blooming witch or mage, or some other form of magic. She caught the smell of a rather pungent metallic tang from the two girls, and couldn't decide which one emanated the scent more, or if they both did. It was a familiar and yet foreign smell all at once and a memory tugged at the back of her mind from where she smelled it before. As she thought, she turned her head to watch the mouth of the cave and wait for the young alchemist.

"Thought so. Thing is I'm am dragon too most of us know when another is around by a really strange feeling that we get at first." For some reason, Coivaqile wasn't surprised by Vinsue being a dragon too. It somehow made sense. A feeling of excitement rushed over her like a cold tingle. But then it was overcome by curiosity. She had never met another dragon. She pushed her curiosity down a little for now, she would find out more in time. "I't has been years since I have ran into one of my own kind. If I may ask how old are you. And what is your breath type?" She asked her. "Breath ty… Oh, I know what you mean. I breathe icy air, frozen. I've been alive for 96 years." She remembered the exact number. Then she wondered about what Vinsue had said about not running into other dragons for years. "What do you mean by not running into other dragons?"

"
Thought so." She said. it made more sense now that the filling had occurred.
"Thing is i'm am dragon too most of us know when another is around by a really strange feeling that we get at first." She said. Than looked threw her bag. after a second of fiddling with the things inside she pulled out a star sapphire and held it out so that the girl may take it and examine it further.
"I't has been years since i have ran into one of my own kind. if i may ask how old are you. and what is your breath type?" she asked.

Vinsue sat down next to her and took her pack off. "What species are you if you do not mind me asking? I only ask because you remind me of a friend from when I was little." She asked after watching her for a moment. Coivaqile hardly thought about it. She briefly was curious about the freind she reminded her of, but dismissed it.
She normally wouldn't have said anything, except she had been thinking about it before, so her asking barely tipped the scale into her answering. "I normally wouldn't have said…"
But I think I trust you she thought. "I'm a dragon." She watched her to see what she thought.

she watched as the girl played with the spoon. it was funny to say in the least but she did not laugh but sat down beside her than took the pack off her back. than it struck her that she had once been intrigued by similar things when he was small.
"What species are you if you do not mind me asking? I only ask because you remind me of a friend from when i was little." She hopped to know and would tell the girl hers if she first said hers.
It had been a long time since she had stumbled into one of her own. and she felt she could trust the girl.

Vinsue answered that she hunts what calls to her. Coivaqile wasn't exactly sure what that meant, but she had an idea that it was whatever Vinsue was drawn towards. She also said that she she gets the things she needs from coins around the main prize. Then she talked about the dangers and a curse that was difficult to remove. Coiv was about to ask more about the curse when they turned off the road towards a cave.
As they walked away from the road, she glanced back at the other two still on the road. She wondered what they would do. Then they were at the cave. It was set in some rock jutting out of the ground and was moderately sized. Vinsue walked in and set some brush into a pile while Coiv walked in and looked around. It was a nice place, a cave yet different from those where she had come from. She found a flat-ish rock and sat down, a little tired. Vinsue arranged the sticks a little, then suddenly fire shot out of her hands and lit it ablaze. Coivaqile was a tiny bit surprised by the fire; she hadn't been expecting it. She could do small acts of magic though, so she didn't mind.
Coiv put her bag down and started shuffling through the contents. The bag itself was little more than a sack, though it had a few straps on the outside to hold it with. There was also a strap with her fighting staff attached to the side so she wouldn't have to carry it.
She pulled out the silver spoon, worn into a smooth, flowing shape. She tilted it in the light, watching the light bounce off.

"
I hunt whatever decides to call me. usually the thing i hunt is surrounded by coins and other things that i sell or trade. the thing im after usually ends up in my home the rest depends on things i need. but i must say that the jod has many dangers." she grabbed a few dry sticks as the walked.
"I have been attacked from the undead and great munsters. and even got a curse once. that was a bit difficult to remove."
Her main source of income was coins from those that tried to get her head but that was not going to be said. she walked into the cave and laid the sticks on the ground than shot fire from her hands to them.

"I have been just about everywhere. Even seen three temples and an Island of four seasons." She answered. Then she thought about her other questions. "A job. No I do not have a job. I do hunt though and I have been hunted but I get my money from treasures that call me. So I guess you can call me a treasure hunter."
A treasure hunter, that sounded interesting. She had never really been interested in treasure. Well that wasn't true. Once she had found silver silverware, washed up in some water. She had been quite intrigued by them. But at the time she had no use of such things, so she had left them by a nearby tree. However she had been drawn to it, kept coming back to it the next day. So in the end she had taken a silver spoon because she liked the way its silver had looked, even though it was worn down. But it still would be interesting to be a treasure hunter.
"What type of treasures do you hunt? Do you sell them?"

"Well as of tonight I'm going back to a cave I found and will look at the map. From there I'm not sure where I'll end up going, but you are more than welcome to join me." Vinsue turned and looked back at Coiv. "Coming?" Coivaqile nodded and followed her, heading away from the city. They stayed a little behind the other two, and she guessed that they were having their own conversation and didn't want to intrude.
After a moment, Vinsue asked her where she was from. "Oh, I'm from some mountains a distance from here. I decided to leave and travel around, that's how I got here. I actually haven't been anywhere else." She said as casually as she could muster. "Where have you been?"

She was more than happy to have a person to accompany her.
"Well as of tonight im going back to a cave i found and will look at the map. from there im not sure where i'll end up going but you are more than welcome to join me." she said and turned she was ready to get away from this town, not because she was sacred but because she would rather not half to fight and the longer she was hear the more likely that would happen.
"
coming?" she said then set off. she stayed a little ways behind the other two as to not cause a problem. she thought on where she last had that filling and who and what gave it to her last. she did not give up but she could not figure it out so she decided to ask a few questions.
"So Coivaqile where are you from?" she asked. Vinsue herself had no answer to that question but she knew most do.

"Im Vinsue and it's nice to meet a fellow traveler who seems to have the same goal of just wanting to see the world. I'm sorry for the random question it's just you seem to remind me of a old friend of mine is all. As of going in that city I think I have also changed my mind. If a simple misunderstanding gets one fed to the worms, and fleeing gets one that badly hurt, I would hate to see what they would do to those…" She paused for a moment letting Coiv wonder what she was going to say. Who did what? Then Vinsue continued: "Who are actually guilty."
Coiv paused for a moment then shrugged. It seemed like an odd thing to say, but what did she know? She had no social skills. Besides, she agreed. Punishments shouldn't be harsher than the crime.
And what if the people of this place had something against dragons? It wouldn't be good if they just didn't like dragons, someone found out, and she got punished- harshly. Coivaqile had nothing against her being a dragon, she was just cautious. She didn't want anyone else to have a problem with her being one. A thought occurred to her. She hopped she and Vinsue would become friends; maybe she should tell her. Coiv started, "I…" This time it was her turn to pause. "Wonder if you're headed anywhere? Could I come along if so? I don't really have a destination next." Ah, what did it matter that Coiv was a dragon?

Liselotte was pleased when the centaur did not refuse her offer. She should still have enough water in her canteen to rinse away the dirt from the mare's deeper cuts. "Wonderful! You won't mind if I come along with you then? I've traveled on my own before arriving here and from what I've heard it certainly is safer with company. Oh, the other two back there? They must've come over to help when they saw you being hounded by the guards. They and I are strangers." The alchemist did so, to clarify and remove any misconceptions that might have arisen. Accidental association was a common mistake committed by all people, and there was no harm in dispelling it.
Keeping up with the centaur's strides, she casually asked a few questions as she checked the powders in her bottles. "I have some dried herbs here which I can apply to your wounds as a poultice. If you don't mind me asking, are you allergic to any particular leaves or flowers? Occasionally certain medicines do not agree with some individuals, and I wouldn't want to aggravate your current condition should you have such sensitivity." A quick look over the mare's wounds showed cuts deep enough to draw blood but shallow enough to allow natural healing, with minimal damage below the surface. At the moment there was no inflammation, though if the foreign debris were not removed promptly that could easily change. Many non-human races were known to have hardier constitutions in comparison to humans, however the basics of infection and healing should still apply.

Paradox stopped and cocked an ear behind her when she heard the blonde woman call out to her. She tilted her head and glanced back as the woman picked up her pace to keep up with her. She soon caught up with her and stood at her shoulder. She was a relatively tall woman, even so, she was still dwarfed in comparison to the centaur. She turned and looked at her, her ears forward as she listened to the woman talk to her. She responded to the young woman's question. "Centaurs are fairly resilient, miss. I should be okay for now."
She let the woman finish speaking and then glanced down at her again. She hesitated a while, turning to look at her bloodied haunch. Dipping her head slightly, she nodded slowly. "You may if you wish," she said quietly. She was used to tending to her own injuries, so it was odd for her to need assistance. She didn't really like asking for help. "I would like to find a place to stay for the night first." She continued walking forward, trying not to let her injury slow her down. "You companions may accompany us as well, it's not safe to be out in the place alone at night. The tribes here are not friendly to strangers."

"Im Vinsue and it's nice to meet a fellow traveler who seems to have the same goal of just wanting to see the world. "As of going in that city i think i have also changed my mind. if a simple misunderstanding gets one fed to the worms, and fleeing gets one that badly hurt, i would hate to see what they would do to those…" she stopped as she realised that she almost revealed a lot of negative stuff about herself.
"who are actually guilty." she had noticed they were in the middle of the path and stepped to the side so traffic could flow freely.

The men searched for themselves to determine that she was innocent. They rudely kicked the bag and left; apparently they deemed her innocent enough to leave. All the trouble they had caused (for goodness sake, they had injured their supposed 'thief' and caused her to bleed), and all they did was snort and leave! The half human/half horse, Coiv now figured out she was called a centaur, climbed up the hill to the road. She grabbed her bag saying thank you. There was still some blood dripping from her leg, yet she still turned and started limping away from the city. The sight was pitiful. It wasn't her fault; she really hadn't stolen the jewels.
Before Coivaqile could do anything though, the blond haired girl seemed to have the same thoughts. She walked after the centaur, asking if she would allow her to clean and bandage her wounds. Coiv hoped she would. It wouldn't seem right if she just left bleeding.
Coiv was about to follow them when the other girl spoke to her. "New to the aria?" She seemed to be looking at her oddly. Coiv glanced back at the other girls before deciding she could talk to them later. She did want to ask them some questions, nothing complicated, but maybe she would be able to later.
She turned back to the one asking her the question. "Yes, I'm travelling around." It was an odd question, she thought, and even odder that it was true. Something was curious. "I was heading for this city, but I don't think I will anymore. I'm not heading anywhere in specific, just wandering." She hoped she would say why she was asking. There was a small itch of curiosity at the back of her head. "Oh, I'm Coivaqile."

The mare told her not to even try to use the healing spell and left. The guards to had left which was odd but they had no proof and had other things to do. She watched the mare limp off and the blond fallow. She knew the mare would be safe with the girl and looked at the remaining one. She felt a connection but it was weird. She never met the girl before yet there was a familiar filling. one she had not had since the last time she met one of her own a 100 years ago and did not recognize the feeling as such.
"New to the aria?" She asked. now feeling weird about the whole thing.

Watching the men search the centaur's belongings, she was relieved that no jewels were discovered. Negotiations had been a success, and the storm had blown over. Liselotte was quite happy with herself, having managed to bring the men to reason. The poor mare was already badly injured as is, and didn't need any more added. She gave a polite curtsy when the centaur thanked her, but was still concerned about her wounds. Attempting to travel in this state would only make her a target for the unscrupulous savages and beasts in the wilderness.
Raising her voice she called out to the mare. "Excuse me, miss! You wouldn't happen to be thinking of travelling in that state, are you? If you don't mind, I would like to at least have your wounds cleaned and bandaged before you go." She had a few mixtures of herbs to make a poultice to disinfect the cuts and scrapes after washing the dirt and debris. Wounds always healed more quickly when they were properly treated. Should the centaur refuse, then she would relent. The alchemist quickened her pace to close the distance between her and the mare.

Paradox laid where she was, even after the ropes were cut and she was freed. She would be killed if she ran and she doubted her leg would let her put much distance between her and the guards. They would catch her easily. She saw the girl above her walk down the road and stand between her and the guards, holding her staff at the ready. She was willing to back her up. She perked her ears forward as the blonde woman began to talk to the guards, she couldn't hear what was being said, but the guards paused in their searching to listen to the woman talk as well.
After the woman finished speaking, they continued digging through her bag, eventually flipping it upside down and scattering her few belongings across the ground. She watched them nudge some of her things around with the toes of their boots. She pinned her ears slightly at their disrespect and gave a quiet snort but didn't say a word. It wasn't her place as the accused of speaking up at the present. She laid still and watched them until they gave her bag a final kick and walked back to the walls without a word. They evidently didn't find any of the jewels she was accused of stealing and didn't have further interest in pursuing her.
She listened to the young girl that had cut her ropes and cocked an ear in her direction as she tried working a spell. "It won't work," she said putting a hand up to stop her. "Centaurs aren't governed by the same spells as women and men. Thank you for trying." She put her dagger into the belt at her side and quickly threw off the remains of the ropes on her flanks. Gritting her teeth, she rose up to her feet and started to limp up the hill. She was still bleeding a little and the dried blood on her leg was starting to become stiff. She had a difficult time putting weight on her hindquarters, as the adrenaline had worn off from the immediate chase and she could now feel her pain in full.
She passed the two women as she went up to get her bag, saying a quick thank you to them before bending over and collecting her items. She flicked her tail and looked towards the gate to make sure the guards weren't returning. There was no longer any activity from the city, which made her feel better about her situation. They had no valid reason to continue looking for her as long as she didn't possess any gems. She stashed her belongings in her bag and slung it quickly over her shoulder. She turned and started walking away from the gated city, limping heavily.

The blond haired girl tried reasoning with the men. Coiv hoped it worked. "Well then, why don't you search her? No harm in confirming whether she has them or not. I'm sure you can ascertain the truth of this incident with greater clarity this way, and better yet–find the missing jewels." She paused and then spoke again. "Now if you were to feed her to the worms and it so happens that she was not guilty, then your problem would remain unsolved and justice would not be served.".
Coivaqile thought about how the girl was handling the problem. It was smart, persuading them with reason. She hoped one day she could learn to do that. She had never really dealt with a problem like this; why, she'd never dealt with other people before. She had no social skills. All she knew was how to choose her side and to fight for it.
Then the other girl, the nimble one, walked up and started talking to the guards while examining the bag.. "She had no gems on her person, and the bag has no gems either. So what proof do you have she stole your stuff?" Coiv realized that had been her thought earlier too. What evidence
did they have? She could have been far away from the site of the crime for all they knew. Either she hadn't stolen the jewels, or they were withholding some information. She decided to wait on the guards to come to a decision.

Vinsue approached the woman and started cutting the ropes with her dagger. once the ropes were off she put her dagger in her boots and whispered the words to the greater healing spell. As the Centaur threw her bag up the hill vinsue only shook her head. the men wanted blood innocent or not and if they thought she did it they would easily say she had eaten it or things similar.
"You likely just lost whatever was in that bag." She listened as the two women at the top talked to the men. Jewel thief and being fed to the worms.. something was wrong hear the worst case for thievery was a loss of hand or imprisonment for a bit. death was one saved for worse crimes or that's what she had concluded over her life. She looked back at the bank and then at the centaur.
"once i get to the top run to the west tell you find a cave i'll meet you there with your stuff." she said in a low voice. than started climbing back up the hill.
once up top she walked to join the two women standing there.
"She had no gems on her person." she than looked threw the bag.
"and the bag has no gems either." she said.
"So what proof do you have she stole your stuff."

Liselotte saw another person come barging in at the centaur's defense, doing something that could easily set the angry men off. This wouldn't do. With that haphazard act of charity it would only backfire like a poorly sealed container of volatile chemicals. The sensible solution was to carefully bring the furious men to reason, while proving the mare's innocence. Yet another supporter in favor of the accused came, this one acting more prudently than the last. Turning to the men Liselotte gestured with her hand. "Well then, why don't you search her? No harm in confirming whether she has them or not. I'm sure you can ascertain the truth of this incident with greater clarity this way, and better yet–find the missing jewels." Giving the men time to let the idea sink in, she continued. "Now if you were to feed her to the worms and it so happens that she was not guilty, then your problem would remain unsolved and justice would not be served."
She already had a counterargument and plan should by chance the mare's bag contain said jewels. Until there was clear proof, anything was fair game and she had no issue in playing the devil's advocate. Standing to the side as to not impede the men's investigation, she watched all who were gathered here. Liselotte had chosen her words carefully, leaning on the accusers' outrage at being stolen from. If she was successful, she would direct that anger to the accused's benefit by drawing their focus away from lynching her towards finding the gems. The important point was to avoid provoking them. Once a person is provoked, they will not listen to reason and the battle will have been lost. Now all she had to do was wait.

A girl came walking from the city. She had golden blond hair and was nicely dressed, clothes not worn down like Coiv's for sure. The girl called to the men, "Hello sirs? May I ask what is going on here? Different voices angrily answered.
"She took gems from the mines!"
"Jewel thief!"
"She's going to be fed to the worms for stealing from the mines!"She's going to be fed to the worms for stealing from the mines!"
Coivaqile considered what they were accusing her of. Would the worms mean death? If they were going to 'feed' her, it sounded like death. That seemed awful steep of a punishment for a thief, especially considering they had no proof.
Then the scene seemed to attract another visiter; another girl came running up. She seemed to know immediately which side to back. She slid down the hill and impressively came off at a run. A disturbance in the air around her and the horse-human spoke of some sort of magical shield.
The supposed thief then answered the men's accusations.
"I don't have your gems. Look for yourself. I have nothing that belongs to you. You have been lied to and tricked. I didn't take your jewels." She tossed her bag up the hill, but it started sliding down again.
That decided if for Coiv, at least for now. If she was willing to let them search her, showing she had nothing to hide, she was probably innocent. Coiv would back her unless she found evidence that she did steal gems.
Coivaqile knew she probably couldn't slide down the side of the road like the other girl, so she marched along the top of the road and placed herself in-between the accused and the accusers. She still had her staff in her hand incase of a fight. She decided to simply let them know of her decision. "I'll back her."

Paradox struggled to make herself upright, her limbs tangled in the net, hindering her ability to move freely. She pinned her ears as she gripped her knife, ready to lay waste on the guards pursuing her. A flash of movement at the corner of her vision distracted her as she watched a young girl appear along the road near her and held out a large staff. She appeared confused looking between her and the guards, her brown hair flying back and forth with indecision. She wore plain clothes, the dust that had collected around her feet implied she was a traveler.
A voice called out a short distance away that made Paradox turn back to the guards. Another woman was approaching her, this one dressed much more lavishly than the last. She was tall and blond, with a relatively fancy dress and boots. It surprised her that the woman was willing to walk out on the dirty road to intervene with such nice attire. She had called to the guards and was asking them what was going on. She could hear them from where she was. "She took gems from the mines!" "Jewel thief!" "She's to be fed to the worms for stealing from the mines!"
She heard a commotion from above her and watched as another girl came to her aid. She jumped without hesitation down the cliff and slid down, coming to a stop near her. She raised her hand and a dull crackle seemed to surround her and formed an electrical wall around her of sorts. She struggled to rise, fearing that the force field was a net for her capture. She calmed slightly when the girl spoke about cutting her bonds to help free her. She shifted her position slightly so her bulk shielded the girl from the view of the guards.
She let the girl approach her before turning her attention to the mass above them. The guards were still yelling at her and trying to get past the woman talking to them. "I don't have your gems." She yelled up to them. She struggled for a moment with her saddlebag, before grabbing it in her free hand. "Look for yourself. I have nothing that belongs to you. You have been lied to and tricked. I didn't take any of your jewels." With much effort, she tossed the bag up the hill. It landed near the blonde woman's feet and started to slide back down the edge.

Vinsue was walking into the city one she was heard a commotion. one like that was usually directed at herself. she wore her simple brown robe as she walked towards the noise. She was almost trampled by a running centaur and if that was not enough those pursuing her had bad aim and almost hit her. She rooted for the woman to get away but she was tripped and rolled down the hill. she was not the first to watch but she was quick to react.
she ran to the cliff edge and jumped. She slid down on her feet with perfect balance. It was a long slide down but she new most would not attempt it and hit the bottom in a run. The horse was badly wounded and quite ready for a fight. She quickly formed a electric wall to keep any arrows they fired from hitting them. she stood a good bit from the centaur.
"Its ok Im on your side if you'll let me help we need to cut the ropes first." she said slowly approaching she dropped her hood.
"Im Vinsue Silvertail" She knew she would likely be seen as a threat for she knew that in a chase the prey thinks all will hurt them yet she hoped she could help.

Today had been a delightful day. The weather was lovely and temperate, and the view of the surrounding landscape was something her sister would have liked to have painted. Liselotte had began with a trip to the local market for reagents. She heard there were exotic goods here from the native animals you couldn't find at lower prices anywhere else. Her mineral powders were running low, and she wanted to try a few experiments with the horns of the antelopes. She had conducted prior testing using elk and deer antlers, and was curious to see if antelope horns yielded the same results. Browsing through the stalls she looked for souvenirs and trinkets her siblings would like on the side. The lady alchemist contemplated purchasing a few lynx skins to have them made into a stole for her mother. The jewelry here was exquisite, but a tad too expensive for a simple gift. She would save that for her parents' wedding anniversary.
After buying a few smaller pieces unfit for carving and other crafts, she tucked the horn fragments away into an empty container from her alchemy kit. Humming to herself, she was satisfied with the deal she had gotten at the price of half the silver she would have spent for a horn in pristine condition. With this much, she could run at least five trials before needing to restock. That was one of the perks of being an alchemist. Unlike a sorcerer, the requirements for the quality of reagents had more leeway than what was needed for magic rituals. A good alchemist knew how to make the best of their materials to distill what was important, even from items of sub-par quality. Finished with her shopping, it was time for her to move on to the next area. She wanted to pick up a few scales and clippings from various creatures, and the stables at Endapano were the perfect place for that.
On her way out of the market Liselotte heard a commotion. There were people shouting about theft, and it was apparently serious enough that they wanted to feed the accused to the worms. Ah yes, the great worms. Their enormous size and feeding habits made them a curiosity to naturalists, as they were only found to reach such lengths in this region. Although she would have loved to contemplate whether or not the locals here had domesticated them, she heard the pounding of hooves and what appeared to be a centaur making a mad dash out of the settlement. It almost looked like the centaur would make its escape when it lurched forward, and fell against the ground with a great thud. There was a large group of people waiting with weapons at the ready, with less than positive sentiment. Once the dust in the market settled down, she quickened her pace to run over towards the scene to see what was going on.
The situation could not have looked worse. There was a female centaur on the ground, snared and badly wounded. The men closing in did not look happy in the slightest, which might have been related to the cries of theft she heard earlier. So this was who they believed to have stolen from the mines. Not to jump to any conclusions, she approached cautiously and called out to them. "Hello, sirs? May I ask what is going on here?" From the look of her wounds, Liselotte saw that the mare would not be able to run away, even if she was guilty of theft. But first they needed to confirm if the belief was grounded in truth or fiction.

Coivaqile was traveling across the grassland for hours, occasionally seeing small rivers sparsely spreads across the area. She wasn't used to seeing so much grass at once, and she had expected for there to be more trees than the few there was. She liked seeing a different landscape than she was used to, but it wasn't her favorite. She still liked the mountains more. After a few hours of the same sore view, she started to get tired of looking at it. Coiv knew that she could've flown over it a lot quicker, but that defeated the purpose.
She wanted to blend in with the people so that she could see what their life is like. It would defeat the purpose to be in her dragon form. It was true that it was easier for her to fight in her true form. But if it came to fighting, she was OK using a hard wooden stick she had crafted. If she was over matched at that, she figured that she would have to find a way to flee away enough to change back into a dragon and finish fighting. All in all, Coiv wanted to try being a human for a bit.
It was a good thing she was in her human form too. Another traveler had crossed paths with her and they had spoken. Coiv had found out that the language she naturally spoke was a language other creatures spoke. The traveler also had pointed her in the direction of a nearby town. She presumed that was the direction he was coming from.
Finally, she was walking along a dirt road and could see what she thought was the town she was going to.
Suddenly, there was a commotion and some being was tangled up in rope, bleeding, and rolling head over heel down the side of the road. She jumped up holding a knife and turned to face the people chasing her.
Unsure of what to do, Coiv held her stick in ready, debating who to help. She was leaning more towards helping the odd half human-half horse? creature simply because of her being outnumbered and bleeding.

It was a simple matter really. Paradox had just been confused for another individual. That was all. She didn't steal any gems or stones from the surrounding mines. Everyone just thought she had and evidently didn't want to listen to her side of the story, which is why she was currently racing through the city to reach the outer walls. She didn't really have any desire to be fed to worms, regardless of their size. Once she reached the wall, she'd be home free.
Her heart pounded in her chest and her muscles ached, but she kept running. Her hooves occasionally shot up a spark from the rocky ground. She saw people standing by the buildings watch her go by, but they didn't actively try to stop her. She rounded a corner and saw a line of carts set up for the farmers market. She collected herself as she tried to leap over the first line of obstacles. She cut her jump low and her hind hooves got caught on the curtain that shielded the produce from the sun. She felt the fabric give and heard the wooden supports break as she landed back on the ground.
She dipped far to the side to avoid ramming another cart head on, clipping her flank in the process. She struggled to get through the maze of carts and heard several people yell at her for ruining their merchandise. She didn't have time to apologize. Once she was out of the market, she could see the doors to the gate only a few blocks away. She hurried towards the opening and tore out of the city. Only once she was out of sight of the wall did she stop and slow down to catch her breath.
She looked around and listened for the sound of anyone following her. It was quiet and peaceful. She didn't hear anyone in pursuit. She walked forward and stepped back onto the road. It was only a few moments later that she heard the snap of a string a short distance away. Suddenly she felt a sharp, burning pain in her haunch. She glanced at the arrow and caught the glimpse of several other archers down the road. She didn't wait for them to loose anymore arrows before galloping off. She could see several arrows fly past her on either side as she ran.
Her leg burned and she could feel the warm blood dripping down and collect around her hoof. She heard the people behind her yell and scream, making her run harder, even though her leg begged her to stop. She saw men jump at her from the brush along the road and she gave a wild shriek. Her eyes widened and she lashed her forelegs out at them before going into a panic. She ran blindly, the adrenaline clouding her mind and hindering her thinking. She didn't even see the tripwire the tribesmen had set up for her before she tripped over it.
Her cannons smacked into the rope and she felt herself roll forward, her hind legs flying over her forequarters. She rolled violently across the road and felt her side smack into a wooden fence that ran along the road. Stars flashed before her eyes as she felt herself start to fall down the steep incline on the other side of the barrier. She spun and kicked as she rolled down the sheer cliff. The rope twisted itself around her body and tangled in her legs.
It felt like eternity by the time she had reached the bottom. She laid still for several moments, she tasted blood and dirt in her mouth and spit out several small stones that had ended up in her teeth. She felt the pain coming from various cuts and scrapes she had gotten from falling down the hillside. Her back leg felt like it was on fire and the rope was biting into her other limbs. She couldn't move her bound legs and barely had the strength to sit upright. She dropped a hand down to her side and pulled out her dagger. If the men wanted her that badly, she'd wouldn't go easily.
