Fingers gripped tightly at the thin fabric of a scarf as the tempestuous wind tried to knock the figure down. An experienced traveler would have found shelter before the environment had gotten dangerous, yet there she was. Her head shifted down against the wind with charcoal strands blowing wildly across her face. From beneath the tattered cloak, it was easy to see the rest of her ruined clothing. The girl was curious what her parents would say if they saw her now. They probably would ridicule her about how she let herself fall into a fool's situation. She could never do right by them.

Lara grunted lowly as she continued to fight the rough wind. She still held hope. There was still the chance that the desert storm would calm before her legs could no longer hold up her own weight. How much longer would it be, though, before her legs finally gave up? There was a moment of regret and fear that transpired before a rock seemed to almost appear in front of her. It could have easily been just a mirage but it did not stop the girl from changing her direction towards it. This was her only hope.

In mire moments, though it felt like eternity to the girl, Lara had finally reached the rock. Her body fell against it in pure happiness. It was real. The palm of her hand pressed against the rock as she let her body finally relax. Eyes the color of rust glanced over towards the ground below her to see a lonely flower. Its purple color left her almost breathless as she let her fingers slide against its petal. With a single flower, she felt as if she could breathe once again.

She was unsure what to do now. The storm still raged around her and she had not real plan on how to continue towards the city she was traveling to. She had only heard the rumors of the beautiful city in the desert. She was a creature of fire and so the feeling of heat made her feel at ease, however the wind did nothing but bring annoyance. She did not know how to handle such weather, she was still trying to control her own abilities over fire.

Maybe, just maybe, her parents had been right.

Blue pulled the hood of his coat down to cover his face. He looked down towards his legs. He almost couldnt see his lower body because of the sand flying through the air. His view was limited to two spearlengths infront of him.

He was far from what he had begun calling his home. It felt like it was only yesterday he fell from the sky, into ocean between Adeluna and Duchy of Egjora. Blue had been picked up by a fisherfamily. The mage had since lived with them, becoming a part of their family. However, not too long ago, he had left to scout this new, mysterius world for clues to what could have caused these portals apearing in the sky. So far, he had learned nothing of interest, but he had heard of a powerful wizzard living in the the golden city of Mamlak. What he had not heard, was how bloody difficult it was to get there with all these sandstorms. The sea of sand seemed endless, and Blue had started loosing hope of ever finding Mamlak.

Suddenly he saw a big rock infront of him, and kneeling infront of it, a young girl. She was tan and had hair black as charcoal. Blue drew his staff. He knew this world was treacherous and filled with dangerous people. "Who are you", he shouted towards the girl. He hoped It wouldn't come to a fight, as he was inexperienced, but he was prepeared for the worst.
