Cedric rode through the desert, wondering where he could find shelter for the night, his horse was extremely exhausted and thristy and so was he. Cedric jumped down from the horse, spotting a cactus field, he climbed back on his horse and charged towards the cactus field, upon reaching the field, he took a large one and stabbed it, cupping the dripping water with his hand, and then drinking the water.

Soon, Cedric's horse would've been hydrated as well and they went on, a few hours later, Cedric finally reached a desert town, but it seems as if everyone was already locked up, it was sunset, why were they already locked in? Cedric knocked on a door and heard a reply "Go away! We already gave you all we have!"

That's odd, as he was walking towards the well for a quick drink, several bandits appeared, silently stalking Cedric.
"Well, if you're gonna ambush me, at least do it right." Cedric sarcastically said, pulling the pail out of the well.

The bandits quickly attacked all at once, Cedric was overwhelmed, he pushed the pail onto the other side of the well, drenching the bandit on the other side. A bandit slashed at Cedric's heels, but he quickly hopped up and trapped the scimitar beneath his feet, he kicked the bandit in the face, jumping down and throwing it at a bandit, piercing the bandit in the chest.

Cedric wasn't expecting more to arrive, this was too much for a bucket of water and he decided to pail bail, the bandits leaped down, surrounding Cedric, he drew his two rapiers,
he slashed at the bandits, but there were quite figuratively infinite number of them! Cedric had to somehow escape this onslaught, just then, the locals came out, armed with axes and other such weapons.

This was a chance for Cedric to hightail it, Cedric leaped onto his horse, and sped off, towards Adeluna, he appeared in the cactus field from earlier, but, the cacti were all gone, strange. Cedric looked around. Then, they sprouted out of the ground, attacking Cedric. He was VERY outnumbered, and his rapiers wouldn't do good against this much cactus monsters.

Cedric is surrounded, trying to fight off as much as he can, hoping to find an opportunity to quickly mow down this much cacti in a 8 minutes or so. 

Kriv was almost at the next village, where he was expected to deliver a message of sorts to their leader. He hated being the messenger, truly he despised them. Those who were true messengers were shifty, and were almost always willing to sell their information or got themselves jobs as spies. His message was simple, warn the villagers of a nearby band of bandits, but seeing as to how he had gotten held up within the desert, it did not matter much to Kriv whether he would deliver the message or not, as it might be too late. 

He had been stalled by a group of bandits, and a bunch of snakes that scurried out of a hole near his foot and started to attack him. It turned out that he had accidentally stepped on one of them. As for the bandits, they did what they always do. In the cool and quiet of the night, Kriv was woken by the sound of breathing nearby. Normally the desert was devoid of sound during the night, but not this time. That night it had been filled with the sound of men being hacked to pieces and of steel crashing through steel. What fun…

As he neared the village, as he could see the buildings in the distance, he saw a well armored human surrounded by cacti and losing. Probably because of the rapiers, Kriv muttered. Rushing into the fray, he swung with all of his might, decapitating two and breaking one. “Rryahh!!!”
