Things had gotten out of control on the other continent. Both Leilah and Kalina were commissioned by Arri to come back to fight the invading forces. They would be stationed in Endapano with their mother. Their mother who had no idea that the twins were not only sharing a man but that Leilah was in love with him. Their relationship was pretty steady and she didn’t mind sharing him with Kalina. Though Kalina didn’t really ask for him too often. She was busy with her work, a natural workaholic.

“We’re here!” The ship docked allowing those who were being transported to Endapano off for the encampment. Leilah and Kalina picked up their packs while Leilah held onto Raile’s arm. “Okay so when we meet her… You should be really formal. She is a noble after all.” It was probably a shock for him when they told him just who Angela was. Now he was going to meet her and have to explain their relationship to her. Kalina and Leilah didn’t seem like she would mind. After all Angela was rather laid back and at one point once had a harem all to herself.

There were lots of women like the twins around them now. Each of them with their own beauty and grace. “Hello, do you know where Angela is?” Leilah stopped a woman in full armor. She pointed towards a large green and gold tent and Kalina nodded.

“That looks about right for her… So go over it one more time Raile… Just how are you going to approach this situation with our mother?” Leilah was beaming with joy as she held onto Raile’s arm. She was absolutely sure that things would go well.

The concept of meeting a lover's parents was something that came natural with the progression of any natural relationship, so when the twins had made the decision that it was time, Raile was on board.


That was, of course, until it was made clear that Leilah and Kalina's mother was none other than the Goddess of Life and Love, Angela.  It was about that point that Raile found himself about to pass out from the shock.  Despite everything that was going on with the war, Kalina and Leilah had decided now was the perfect time to introduce him.

So when his dearest Leilah asked if he was ready and knew how to approach it all, he blanched.  The entire airship ride over he had  gone over multiple scenarios in his head to try and get the scene set just right for when he met Lady Angela. 

“Lei,” he said finally.  “Other than the bows and proper language….I haven't the slightest idea of how I'm going to handle any of this.”

Despite that, he had done a few things in preparation, though to be entirely fair he would have done much even had he not been meeting with a God or Goddess.  Being a merchant held many benefits, such as supply chains and contacts.  And he had used everything at his disposal to bring aid to Endapo.  Even now, supplies we're arriving and en route. 

“Just…lead the way.  I'll manage somehow.”
