I would say it isn't hard to get a thread started. Heading over to the roleplay request forum and posting a thread there asking for an rp is the fastest way to get going. I would also suggest posting in the Greenhorn Corner since it's a good opportunity to break into the site style while getting extra silver. You don't have to be a newbie to rping just to use it. Being new to the site qualifies you.
