Hello everyone, and welcome! Revaliir will now be holding weekly writing prompt contests with changing weekly prizes! Each person that enters will get that week’s participation prize, but the top spot for that week will get something extra :3

Please be aware that all first place writers will have their piece featured on Revaliir’s Tumblr, so if this makes you uncomfortable then this may not be the contest for you. Original content like this is a fun way to show people the talents of our site’s users!

The weekly prompt will be posted at the start of each new week, as well as Revaliir’s Tumbrl and Twitter, so if you follow those then keep an eye out!

Entries can be entered for the first five days of that contest’s week, with the sixth day for judging, and the seventh day for the awards and posting! So be sure to get your entries in within those days :3

Rules:
  • Entries rated R are allowed, but try to keep it as tame as possible as the winners will be displayed on one of our social media sites
  • There will be a word cap of 500 unless otherwise specified
  • These entries do not have to be Revaliir based, or time period based, these are completely independent writing pieces. Though of course if you want to write within the confines of Revaliir that’s fine, just not required - freedom is yours right now!
  • Please PM your entries to my main account (Naota), do not post them up on the thread. If you post your entry onto the thread directly, it will be disqualified.
  • Limit one entry per user (not account) each week
  • Please do not PM me asking for a judging update. If you are worried that your entry may not have submitted through due to any computer errors on your side, do PM me, just do not make it a habit every time :3

All righty everyone, on to the next writing prompt!  This one's going to be a bit different than the last, with a back and forth of dialogue.  You can use this in your short piece if you'd like, or have it pick up from the dialogue, whatever your preference!  Heck, you can write it without putting the dialogue in at all if you like, so long as it's what prompts and motivates your piece lol
