I can sew. I make quilts and what not but I don't own a sewing machine anymore :(

I knit.  But I can only make scarves.  I'm a failure.

This is one of the only ones I haven't given away as a gift.

In my AMaA, I mentioned that I'm a knitter, and Moliira said in hers that she does cross-stitch, and I'm wondering who else in the Rev community enjoys fibrecrafts of some flavour. If so, this is your thread!

Right now, I'm working my way through this pattern for a blanket. My birthday was last week, and my sister gifted me an awesome set of interchangeable needles, along with a big ball of yarn, and a request for a blanket. Picture isn't the greatest, but here's what I've got done this week:

I'm looking at probably about a month's worth of knitting still ahead of me, maybe a bit more. Fun pattern, though I hate hate hate purl-front-and-back increases, which of course were kinda required here. Fortunately that's the only time I'll need to use that increase, though every other row involves some purling through the back loop, which I also dislike.

So, what have the rest of you got?
