Here he was pacing his room waving around a cheese knife at a very fearful looking guard simply ranting at the man "I told you to get me something good, I've done Murders, I'm bored of murders" the guard went to bow and apoligise before Bishop ran a hand over his face and slamming the knife to lodge itself into the magohgy desk he was using as base of operation "Dont say sorry to me, If I ever want a half assed apoligy Ill come to you, but for now all I need is a target, so give me something good" he slipped his pipe between his lips taking a huge breath of smoke waiting for the guard to get his bearings and explain "M'lord, there seems to be a bounty set on a lady seems to bait people in and do unspeakly acts with them" that simple sentence alone peaked his intrest as the guard was about to say more Alec quickly intercepted "From the look of you your a high ranking guard most likely kept clean due to your role meaning your in an upperclass zone" he took a quick sniff "and from the smell of fish emitting from your clothes you've just come from the main airship transport, your excused" The Reeve whisked his leather jacket on before heading out with a smirk decorating his face due to leaving another messenger slack jawed.

The walk in itself was brief and in all fairness it gave him time to stew on the act he had just done, what he had said wasn't wrong just the wording of it, when Bishop got off the Airship himself that morning he had witnessed the same guard take a long look at him before being swatted by an obvious captain but of course to remember that fine detail he had simply connected the memory with the scent of salt and fish being sold at the stalls, however when he finally got the docks he was greeted with a sharp "Bishop" to break his concentration looking up at the man covered in chainmail and his only feature being a whispy silver moustache on his nose "If you must day dream, cant you simply solve the case first" Alec  rubbed the side of his head disintrested until he heard the cry of rhymitc tunes sing around him before a smirk grew onto his face "The Music" and just like that the young man was gone jogging round the corner to take a quick puff of his pipe before beckoning at the unknown figure at the end of the alley "Greetings, I was told its not safe this time of night" barely holding back the smug look etched onto mouth while his tired eyes still seemed cold.

"Inside my skin
There is this space
It twists and turns
it bleeds and aches
inside my heart.
There's an empty room
It's waiting for lightning,
it's waiting for you."

Tonight, there was no more real need to be out. The ever present burning need of thirst was sated, and manageable. Townsfolk had filled her belly with their warm blood as they listened to her music she so selflessly played while they ate. It was a serviceable contract everyone partook in. Lirin played her music, enchanting them with her voice. They tilted their necks and allowed her to drink. Never enough to injure or kill, only enough to sustain. Yet there was something else that she needed. Ever since she had met Tadgh, the rest of her life felt dull. There was nothing else to do, except fill the void with a bit of fun. Unfortunately, that fun she sought could land her in a mountain of trouble. Lirin always was shy of mischievous, and Celeste was helpful enough to tease her about it as she was dragged into whatever the older twin wanted.

To hell with the taverns! There was so much more in the city than just a dingy tavern where all smell and taste of booze. If she wanted alcohol, Lirin could just order it and have fresh from the bottle. Truly, alcohol ruins the flavor of pure, warm blood. Weaving her magic, Lirin enchanted her voice to carry over the wind, weaving and searching for any ear to listen.

"Muscle and sinew
Velvet and stone
This vessel is haunted.
It creaks and moans
My bones call to you
In a separate skin
I'll make myself translucent
to let you in."

At the end of the alley, someone called out to her. Lirin turned, with a smile. "Only for those who fear the dark."

"I am wanting and
I am needing you
To be here
Inside the absence
of fear."

Lirin chuckled softly. Could he provide the same kind of fun Tadgh could? Would this stranger prove to be worth the danger she has placed herself in? "Tell me, da'len, what you know of dangers in the night." A soft breeze blew past her, carrying her pheromones to dance around the stranger at the end of the alley, attempting to work similar to an aphrodisiac, allure him to her in any way, shape, or form. Make him attracted, and control the fun. The vampiress was slowly loosing her sense of morality the longer she stayed this far away from her goddess.

Her voice seemed dull in his ears, as his own heartbeat echoed through his ears the air wafting down the alleyway smelt strongly of perfume all he could do was smile waiting for the woman to stop singing allowing himself to light his pipe before speaking "Im sorry was I meant to enchanted I can try harder if thats eaiser for you?" and then sticking his fingers into his ears pulling out large blobs of yellow "I know, I know it really does look like I have alot of earwax in my ears but during my job Ive discovered Beeswax dulls out most sounds, your probably thinking to yourself two things right now. One, how did he know to not listen to my singing, and Two why take it out cant I just simply sing again" Bishop clapped his hands with a coy smirk on his face "Well, unlike most people here I read some witnesses reports and it turns out they heard a woman's singing before the target was gone, so I put one and one together" he then stuck two fingers up and contiued "And lasty, you did a rather stupid thing, its daytime out there and each direction of this path leads to deadend apart from the way I came in which has around three armed guards in hence why it no longer matters if I have these in, plus I wouldnt be able to hear myself gloat"

He took a quick puff of his pipe, "But alas to their unknown knowledge the guards that are waiting haven't realised that I've been paid to protect you for some offset reason" to which he stepped quickly over a cast iron plate on the ground which took a few too many seconds to lift off to cause a putrid smell of the sewers to burn his nostrils "So its rather simple, and if I accidentally gave you more credit you should have figured out, we go through the sewers and avoid detection till nightfall where you can either do your Elf Vampre thing" Bishop took one more quick puff of his pipe before throwing it on some broken crates and hay causing embers to float around the place "Off we go!" he almost cheered before jumping feet first into the sewers.

A single eyebrow rose in question to the first words out of the stranger's mouth. Lirin watched the wax be pulled out of his ears, listening intently. 'My, he certainly likes to talk, full of himself to boot. I wonder if he has a sense of smell.' He thought he had her figured out. The vampire crossed her arms across her chest, put all her weight on one leg, and had an amused smirk on her face as she allowed him to finish his monologue. Her eyes narrowed slightly, imperceptible at this distance as he called her actions stupid due to the time of day.

Internally, she created a list of things he needed to be educated on. First and foremost, Lirin was not a siren, luring people with the sound of her voice. That was merely the attraction, entertaining the crowd as she sought the one or two she needed to sustain herself. The secret was in her scent, her pheromones, the charm spell ingrained into it, the wind circulating it around. Second, her victims did not disappear. They would feel weak, woozy. The reason she chose taverns was the feeling of blood loss would be easily mistaken for drinking too much. Afterwards, they would stumble home, and be perfectly fine in the morning. Thirdly, most vampires were viscous and brutal, yet stuck to the night for easier hiding. Lirin did not require such, since much of the sensitivities the other vampires felt was decreased thanks to the gift her goddess had bestowed upon her. Fourth, and probably the most important, Lirin could disappear far easier than anyone knew, except maybe Tadgh.

She wrinkled her nose as he pulled the sewer grate off, knowing instantly what he intended. 'He can't have a sense of smell, if he's willing to jump into that! No wonder my charm didn't work.' Before she could say anything, he was down the hole. Lirin walked over to the source of the putrid smells and glared down at him. "Sir, for as informed as you are, I'm afraid you're mistaken on all accounts. And if you think I'll jump down this hole where the stench of dead, rotting corpses are laying, you'll find yourself sorely disappointed." Whether by divine intervention or unlucky turn of the weather, thunder rumbled overhead as a crack of lightning struck the ground close to the vampire. Deafened by the sound, blinded by the flash, Lirin fell with a hiss… Right into the sewer entrance.
