Next morning, she woke up early and got ready again. She got her things together and left the tent, heading back into the bush. She lightly yawned and ran a hand through her hair, looking for certain tracks after him.

She lightly shook her head and softly called, "Wait." She pushed herself quietly onto her feet and shook her head to keep herself awake. She looked through the pelts and meat, taking them with her. She stepped outside, lightly shivering in the downpour. She listened carefully, trying to separate something from the rain. A small inner voice told her to wait, rest until tomorrow and maybe then she'd have a better chance to follow his tracks. Sitting out in the rain, she just looked up at the clouds, thinking until she turned around and headed back inside the tent.

She lied back into the pelt, settling her things down again and tightly biting her lip. She didn't want to see him go already, despite having known him for such a short time. Now, she just couldn't sleep anymore, looking up at the ceiling and listening to the rain again. She didn't know when, but she later fell into a more secure sleep, getting through the rest of the evening.

He looked down at her almost sadly before standing up, "I wish not to drag you into a life you don't deserve" he whispered before starting to pack his weapons and items leaving the tent standing making sure to keep the map from getting wet from the downpour, "Tonight you will have shelter and food to eat but I'm, not the man you need nor the man you want" marking off her name in a book of people he put his rucksack on walking over to the bodies of the bandits.

While searching the bandits bodies he found a few pieces of silver and notes suggesting areas of the forest and the world he could find clues on his brothers where abouts, he threw the clues into the dying fire watching it slowly burn into embers as he took one last glimpse of the sleeping elf next to a large pack of pelts and meat for the next day he took off into the bushes making sure not to stand on any branches that could halt his retreat into the rain.

She lightly smiled and nodded. "I feel the same. I really don't want this to end." She settled down on the pelt and later got comfy. She looked around the tent, letting out a small sigh of happiness. She looked over at their hands, gently squeezing his hand. "You're cold." She said softly as she looked over at him. She was thinking to herself about everything that was happening and the kiss. Although she knew him for a short time, it somehow seemed right.

She smiled as she looked over and lightly chuckled. "I'll stay, don't worry." She said softly, taking his hand and gently squeezing his hand again. "I think I'm addicted as well, this somehow feels right." She lightly closed her eyes and listened to the rain outside. She couldn't help but think how relaxing it seemed right now, the rain acting as a lullaby and just a little bit warm, regardless of the fact there was no fire.

He squeezed her hand lightly brushing her hair back behind her ear before saying "I… don't want this moment to end" he chuckled quietly while going back to look her once over with a childish grin on his face watching the rain fall down from the clouds, the knot still there and growing tighter but not as a bad feeling he never wanted the tightness to stop running his thumb across the top of her hand he settled down on the pelt opening his arm offering her space.

He looked at his palm almost investigating it deep in thought thinking about everything he wanted to do with his life before finally settling on the here and now he glanced at her as his heart almost skipped a beat before saying with a heavy breath "Stay with me" whispering it almost at her "Now that I have had the shortest of moments with you I think I'm addicted" he chuckled softly looking up at the roof of the tent.

She felt her breath catch a bit and her heart seem to beat faster. She listened to him, looking at him a little bit and softly whispered, "Really? Cause I feel my heart beginning to flutter a bit." She lightly chuckled and continued to look down. As he lifted her chin and she looked into his eyes, not saying a word and just looking into his eyes to find an answer. When he finally kissed her, she felt her cheeks getting warmer and felt absolute surprise. She had a million thoughts racing through her, but for now, she didn't want the moment to end. Everything else just seemed unimportant right now.

She slowly relaxed and later pulled away. She lightly smiled as she looked back at him and gently took his hand. "I…I don't know what to say." She said with a small chuckle. She leaned back and shyly brushed her hair away from her face. "I just know that….that felt pretty nice." She looked down as she felt her cheeks get warm again,

The way she shook her head made his smile widen as he ran his thumb across her cheek the warmth of it making the knot in his chest tighter he looked down at her hands taking one lightly like she was as fragile as glass before saying in almost a whisper "Since I've met you there's been a pain in my chest growing ever tighter" he paid attention to her reaction with most importance watching her eyes flicked around looking at her feet, the heat in her cheeks getting warmer against his cold hand all he wanted to do was stay in this position for as long as possible even if he didn't get any sleep the whole night.

he doesn't know what caused his next move but he started to lean closer to the young elf, his breathing picking up as he tore his hand away from his cheek almost missing the warmth but returning it to her chin lifting it up to face him, looking into her eyes letting himself have a nervous smile before closing the gap and kissing her lightly.

She looked over at him and said, "Its just a small cut on my shoulder. One of the bandits got a lucky shot when I wasn't looking." She began to slowly clean it up a bit more, before properly wrapping it up and sighing in relief. "This is gonna have to do." She lightly chuckled and looked outside at the rain again. "Yeah, its always so nice and beautiful after it rains. And hopefully those bandits had something worth taking." She turned to him and started to help him clean up the cuts on his arms.

She looked up at him and smiled. "After this, you should rest. You look absolutely exhausted and its been a pretty long day for the both of us." She looked down,  continuing to help him up. "She could notice him looking at her, and was silently thinking. She brushed her hair away from her face, shaking her head to keep herself awake until they both went to sleep. She tilted her head in confusion as he reached out for her, but she didn't say much. She could feel her heart begin to flutter and she lightly smiled at him again before she looked down at her feet, feeling shy and quiet, unsure what to say next.

He sat down on the pelt looking at her wince slightly "If you're injured I can take a look at it, but only if you check mine out" he said sliding his shirt off checking his cuts on his arms before starting to clean them, he glanced up at the rain smiling "I really wasn't expecting Bandits and Rain today but if they are anyone important at least we can get the bounty in on them and get something good out of this storm".

He looked at her with his tired eyes looking at her face noticing how red it was from the rain, the ears that stuck ever so slightly out from her messy long hair even her small nose, for some strange reason Vis had an urge to protect her and make sure no major harm was done to her, the tight knotted feeling in his chest made him hold in slightly everyone talked about elves being a source of corruption and evil but all he saw in the face of this woman was a wanderer someone who was bored of being see as someone different. taking a deep breath he started to reach out towards her cheek.

She  lightly nodded before turning back to the bush. She allowed the men with bows to come out, immediately firing at them. She ducked and dodged the few arrows that were fired at her. She ducked into cover and fired. She injured a few of them first try, making her silently scold herself. She fired again, got her targets perfectly. However, she soon felt a jolt of pain spread through her, choosing to ignore it and look at it later. Besides, the added pressure of an injury made her more careful and determined to get through. She carefully got through the last few men quickly, smiling to herself as she finished up. She lowered her bow and lightly sighed in relief, looking over at him. "Well, that was…certainly interesting." She said with a small chuckle.

She walked over and nodded at the bodies. "You got done fairly quickly."  She said. "You hurt?" She crossed her arms and looked him over. "I think a good storm and a fight with bandits is a pretty interesting evening." She gently pushed him back towards the tent and said with a small smirk, "We can catch a cold this way after all." She headed back inside the tent, lightly wincing as another jolt of pain passed through her. She looked down at her shoulder and muttered, "Dang it, he got me pretty good." She instead chose to cover it up, she could take care of it and have a better look at it tomorrow.

"Lets see your moves in action then Robin hood, Ill take care of the guys with the swords" With a smirk he ran at the others elegantly avoiding a stab to the stomach before slamming his blade down upon the bandit's scimitar as sparks flew and shattered metal flew everywhere showing that Vis had managed to break through his sword with a single swipe however the aura dulled slightly allowing the leader to slash his leg, in pain Vis swiped up taking another bandit hand off, seemingly fighting with more fury the more Vis got hurt.

He was pushed back in the clearing taking heavy blows from the remaining three men, sword clattering and heavy Axe swipes nearly catching him but one in a dozen grazed him leaving shallow cuts knowing he had to win Vis allowed his Mana to be expended and it to glow brighter as his agility increased ten fold dodging blows and dealing them back with precision before long Three more bodies were added to ground as he walked over to log slumping down letting the rain run off his face, knowing he had used all his Mana until the next day breathing heavily he waited for the Elf to finish off hers.

She tilted her head and said, "Still, very interesting, and good to have. " She tilted her head and lightly smirked before the arrow fly by. She narrowed her eyes and lightly grumbled under her breath before grabbed her bow and quiver. She immediately followed him out, ready to fight. She narrowed her eyes at the man, and was ready to help him out if he needed it. She looked at him in interest, watching as the sword began to glow in the area. She shook her head and told herself not to get distracted, instead be ready in case a fight broke out here and he would need some help.     

She looked around the bushes, listening carefully. She could tell that there were others waiting nearby, she briefly looked over at him and said, "There are more in the bushes. They aren't exactly being quiet." She was waited for the fight to start, remaining tense and ready to help in any way.

"Learning magic wasn't really my choice," he said looking at the palm of his hand "It's a tool I used to fight in the Arenas when I was younger, but due to my restricted Mana I really can only use it all at once or for a short amount of time" he breathed heavily "But that hasn't stopped me from learning a few spells that could help me in life or death" he looked around the tent making sure there were no holes that water could penetrate, before looking down and smirking at her "If I didn't drag you in I wouldn't have gotten to share a tent with such a cute-"

The arrow flew past him through the fabric of the tent resulting to him drawing his sword pointing it at the bushes looking at the glints of metal through the rain "We'll finish this after we deal with them" he muttered before glaring at the bushes "Show your faces before I come in there myself!" the chuckled that followed made him nervous as he watched the man with the sickly scarred face and red eyes walk out, "Your money or your life kid" with that Vis's sword hand glowed lighting up the small radius as he felt his strength boosted.

She lightly chuckled and said, "You remind me of an old friend of mine. She would say the same." She looked up as it began to rain and immediately grabbed her bow and quiver, placing them under cover. She tilted her head curiously and said, "Its not often when  I hear people trying to learn magic. In my experience, people have either become frustrated or afraid of it, overall choosing to quit instead of keep learning." She gasped in surprise as he pulled her in the tent. "Really?" She laughed. "You could have told me instead of dragging me in here." She ran a hand through her hair and looked around the tent. "I guess everything looks good here, seems comfy enough." She looked around the tent and lightly nodded as she looked back at him.

She lightly yawned and said, "Its definitely different from being out there. I mean usually, if it rained or got rough out there and I was travelling, you just had to climb up a tree and hope you don't fall out. Besides, I haven't gotten sick yet, and I haven't fallen out." She sat down on the pelt and said, "It'll be alright.  Not much we can do about the fire, we certainly can't cover up the fire." She lightly nodded and said, "And about space, I've slept in smaller conditions. Just don't crush me in the middle of the night."

He watched her facial features carefully, paying attention to how she bit her lip or smiled he snapped himself out of the trance looking to the fire and smiling "Fighting is always easier when there's someone else to push you along" as he said this a spitting of rain started, he laughed "Guess even this far away from home my luck doesn't change" cracking his back dragging his items under the shelter and turning back looking into the sky "And sometimes the stupid ass Deities are making us suffer for something, Well that was what this old Gladiator taught me when teaching me how to use magic".

He turned looking at her with a smile as the rain rolled down his face and he reached out taking her hand dragging her undercover "You'll catch a cold out there you know?" he chuckled "and don't even suggest using a tree since this should be big enough if we squeezed in, or something" he said with a thumbs up before laying out a pelt to protect them from the damp exterior "Shame about the fire though".

She smiled and lightly chuckled as she listened to his story. "Well, that's one way to win." She smiled and said, "To be fair to myself, I had not other way to get the artifact back, and I had a time limit. If I didn't get the artifact back in time, I was going to lose the money that was promised to me."  She leaned back and said, "But after a herd of animals and a good storm, I went to get it back." She rubbed her back and lightly winced. "Still sore from that good old fight." She softly sighed when she listened more to his story and lightly bit her lip. "You are certainly interesting. But from what I can tell, there's not much you could have done. Fighting was the best, but after time, you get tired. And either one, you get killed as well or two, you're taken either way." She shook her head and ran a hand through her hair as she looked back into the fire.

She looked over as she watched him build a tent. "I'd like the shelter, but I really don't want to bother you." She  got up and walked over and said, "Really, do you think the tent can hold up two people?  If you insist, I can rest here tonight." She looked up at sky and said, "You've got a point about the rain, it feels like a storm is nearby."

He took another swig chuckling at the story of the Orcs "True the last one I saw, wasn't very happy I beat them in an arm wrestle, I may have cheated and used some of my mana" he looked into the fire poking it with his sword watching the oil catch light and sharpen the already sharpened blade "I started looking for him a couple of weeks after I won my freedom in the Arena, I heard from a pirate inn that a guy barged through the door selling a pelt and talking about being a highway man of sorts, Of course, I had to search the library to find what that meant but as I read it I knew it was him" he threw the last of the dead wood onto the fire before continuing "I left my younger brother all alone in the world after our parents died in that attack, I should have fought against the slavers"

he stood up starting to put up a tent using a large piece of cloth and a couple of branches from the trees, "I know you would probably sleep in a tree but the air smells damp, suggesting rain, I can offer you some shelter?" he said the smile returning to his face "Its been nice venting my thoughts after weeks of being in this place, so I believe I at least owe you this?"

She took the flask and curiously took a drink. She coughed and lightly shook her head before handing the flask back to him. She lightly huffed and said, "Well, passing through a town isn't too much fun when everyone stares at you and mutters comments about elves. Its a long story, filled with stupid rumors and fights." She widened her eyes and frowned when she listened to his story, but didn't choose to comment anything about his past.  

She briefly looked over at him then glanced at the fire and said, "Quite some time. I'm just settling down for now from my last job. Let me just say, Orcs do not get happy when you sneak around to steal some artifact back." She lightly chuckled at the memory and shook her head. "What about you? How long have you been looking for this person of yours?" She asked, looking back at him.

He pulled open a flask taking a swig of a strong smelling liquid offering it to her, "You said you didn't like the town life? I guess you would prefer living in a tree then" He chuckled smiling at her as he went back to cleaning his sword taking care with sharpening and oiling the blade, before going back to the map and marking the areas, "When we were young slavers attacked our village dragging me off into the desert, the bond between my Brother and Father was bad enough and might have gotten worse when I was taken" he laughed painfully.

He looked over at the elf seeing her in the fire light then standing up and walking towards the fire to put more wood in, "So how long you been out in the forest?" he asked sitting down next to her on the log "Most people don't last more than a couple of weeks due to the bandits or beasts." going back to sorting out his belongings and putting the mask back and folding up the map into the rucksack.

She walked over and took the piece of meat from him. She ate quickly, listening to him talk. She lightly chuckled and finished eating before looking back to him again. She tilted her head when she notice him looking at her and thought for a while. "Maybe. I've travelled a lot before and seen a lot of people. But badlands is something new I've heard." She looked over as he opened the bag and tilted her head at the mask. "This person you're looking for, they're female?" She asked curiously.

She walked over a bit closer. She looked over the mask and said, "Can I see it a bit more? This reminds of something I've seen people sell before." She tilted her head as she looked back at him. "But I'm honestly afraid I'm not the person you're looking for. I'm just trying to get through things myself." She sighed and briefly looked towards the fire.

He offered her the freshly cooked meat simply saying "I caught a ton for the pelts the meat doesn't sell for a lot" he laughed "They actually attacked me in the badlands when I first left my ruined village, my brother and I always had bad luck when it came to animals" he went back to eating and looked at the girl inspecting her from head to toe raising an eyebrow at her "You haven't been to the badlands in the past have you?"

Reaching over he opened the rucksack "The person that I was told to find was last seen in this forest she knew my brother, well at least that's what the Inn said before I ran off" he tapped his chin pulling out a torn mask "I need to know? If your that person".

She straightened up and lowered her bow, putting it away after he lowered the sword. She watched him hesitantly before she finally hopped down from her perch and walked forward out of the bush and more towards the fire. "My name's Leodrisa. And I'm here for shelter. I don't trust towns too much." She leaned back against a nearby tree and lightly crossed her arms, looking over at him.  "Apologies, I don't like being out in the open too much either." She unconsciously looked back towards the bushes.

She later looked back at him and looked towards his bag and what he overall carried with him. She lightly nodded and said, "From what I can see, you look like you have a long journey ahead of you. Carrying a lot of weapons and things, can't be easy." She smirked at him and said, "Very different from other men who come through here." She later lowered her bow and quiver of arrows to be more comfy. She put them nearby in case he tried anything after he finished eating,

He kept the sword up pointing it at her slightly, tension was thick in the air, "I'm looking for someone whos important, and my name is Viserys" he paced to the side picking up his rucksack with care always keeping sight on the elf, the moonlight illuminating her eyes enough for Viserys to keep track of her movements, with a long sigh he sat down sheathing his sword while picking back up his rabbit and dusting the dirt off it before eating.

"Since I answered your questions can I ask my own?, Whats your name and why are you here?" he asked curiously where he came from Elves were rare and the only one he knew was easily over 100 years old and concentrated in the magic of healing, "And come out the bush your giving me a migraine when I have to stare into the dark for a pair of eyes" he smirked seemingly familiar why looking at the fire and placing another rabbit on to a stick.

Leodrisa brushed her hair away from her face with a small huff. She continued to walk until she saw the small glow of a fire. She instinctively pulled her bow out and pulled an arrow out. Ready to fight back or investigate, she slowly walked towards it, careful to remain hidden from whoever was there. As she got closer and could see a bit more, she accidently stepped on the branch, making it crack. She silently scolded herself, but looked back towards the voice. She stopped in thought, wondering if she should really reveal herself. She rarely trusted anybody out here, and made a habit of rarely talking to those who saw her.

She swung up into a larger tree and quietly approached. She narrowed her eyes when she saw the man and tilted her head. She still had an arrow ready to fire at him, just in case he attacked or tried anything. "Who are you?" She called, keeping herself mostly hidden. From her position, people could just get the peak of her face, one of her arms and her bow. "Not many people willingly choose to travel so late."  She called. She was curious to know his answer, she could see that he seemed different from those who travelled by this road.

Viserys sat down letting the bird calls echo through the clearings, he took off his boots with a groan letting the wind whisper through the grass. he had been on the road from the city for almost a week know tracking animals and collecting leather, of course, this was not his motive of being in the forest but earning a little gold on the way can't really hurt, starting the fire with sticks we're a difficult task and was swearing from the blisters in his hands from multiple attempts when the sparks of life shot through the dead wood watching the flickering flame grow larger.

Watching his bag the whole time of cooking or resting was just how he had grown up in a slave camp so items of personality were stolen a lot for a bit of gold and punishment, however he knew very little about his family since his family and brother being in the village at the time of the attack but he had finally found something that could change it all, give him more information on everything. he just had to find the thing he was searching for. he bit into the rabbit while reading a map heavily drawn on showing parts of the large sprawling forest marked off and other darker areas with crosses or lines dashed through, is mission was important but not as important as his life.

A sudden crack of a branch set his nerves off picking up his sword shouting into the bushes "Whoever is there, come out!" he paced backwards getting into a stance in case it was a hostile creature.
