Feyres eyes focused outside and she could make out the faint blue glow.

"So youre telling me, that were just gonna go and kill some people. Three to two? One of them being a sorcerer??" She asks still trying to make sense of the situation.

Feyre unsheathed the small knife from her boot, clenching it between her teeth. In her right hand, she clutched two small throwing knives, and in her left a dagger. She refocused her energy to spread the magic shields between her and Pocket, giving them both some sort of protection. She knew it wouldn't last long against magic ambush, but it would keep daggers and swords away.

"Ready when you are" She grinned wildly, already bouncing on the balls of her feet with excitement.

It had become nightfall by now, and the forest around her seemed to be covered in a thick blackness. Having any hope in the moon and stars for guidance seemed in vain, for the sky itself was even nearly impossible to see. Ha Neul had in mind to travel to the Perditi Cemetery, and the Viren's Forest had seemed like the most obvious and quickest path there. What she didn't know of, however, were of the tales of what happened to those who dared to venture through the Viren forest. She'd entered this seemingly god forsaken forest every early this morning, at the fight sight of dawn, with an intention to have been out by nightfall. Yet the farther she had traveled through the forest, the deeper it had seemed to become. After the first few hours, everything had begun to look exactly the same; All the trees, the ground, the wildlife and strange creatures that creeped around these parts. Now that it was night, the forest had become exceedingly even more difficult to navigate through, and further attempts at travel were beginning to seem completely vain. "Perhaps I should begin building my house here." She jested to herself. For it didn't seem as if this would be a place she'd be leaving anytime soon. She had high mental and physical perseverance, through her experience of constant battle and struggles for survival in the past, in her previous world, yet even this place, was bringing a wear upon her patience. Just when all hope seemed lost, there, not far into the distance, was a light. A blue light. Not only that, but there were also voices. Not the sounds and voices of the multitude of mindless animals and creatures she'd encountered here and there during her travels in this forest, but what sounded like people. Had fate smiled upon her dilemma in this place of madness? Through the thickness of the trees, the consequences of a regretful misstep at any moment, and the blinding darkness of the night, she changed her destination towards the direction of this mysteries light. She treaded, albeit, with caution however. For through her experiences, she had learned very well that not every voice, was one of good intention, and a good soul. Oftentimes, human beings could be more threatening than mindless animals.

"Funny you would ask. And keep your voice down"
He said rubbing his neck,
"There are three bandits about two-hundred yards east west of here. They're casting some blue magic stuff. We should kill them."

Feyre lept out of her hammock. drew her dagger, and stood behind Pocket with it pressed against his throat in a matter of seconds. It took her a few seconds to blink the dreams away and realize what she was doing.

She quickly lept away from him and sheathed her dagger, remembering what he just said.

"What could possibly be fun about waking up in the middle of the night" Feyre groaned, running a hand through her hair.

Pocket took the meat and threw it into his mouth, still weaving the hammock. Once the hammock was done he let Feyre go to sleep while he sat on a boulder infront of the overhang.
They had set up camp underneath a rock face that jutted out over the campfire. The hammocks where in a Moon Willow that thrived in the shadow of the rock face.
Pocket saw a light passing through the trees, casting a blue hue across the forest floor. Pocket unsheathed he sword and jumped up a tree, walking slowly towards the light. As he got closer he saw three men, the biggest one had big armor with dirt and rust covering it, he had a big fur draped over his back and two flails resting on the ground next to him. The second man was very small and Pocket could never seem to catch a glimpse of his face, he had Abbie slung over his back and was dressed in a purple cape and black leather. The last man was dressed in very high looking clothes and seemed to be casting a spell.
The glowing blue came from a well in the ground that had the blue liquid flowing like a whirlpool. Something was in the well, a figure that seemed to be speaking, or grunting, Pocket did not know which. They where bandits.
Pocket leaped across the trees back to the campground. He went to Feyre's hammock and woke her up,
Hey, get up. You know that fun you where talking about having? I found it."

Feyre watched the boy weave his second hammock with surprising precision. Where a child learned such skills, she had no idea, but she was grateful for them.

"I'll take first watch, you sleep" Pocket said.

Feyre nodded at him, not even bothering to argue. She reached into her satchel and pulled out a small handful of dried meat and a fig and held both out to the boy.

"Eat, you'll need the energy"

They had been running for about four hours now. All the while saying nothing, making the occasional turn towards the mountains. Finally it started to get dark and they had to stop, "too dangerous at night" Pocket explained.
Pocket set up his hammock then started to weave a hammock for Feyre.

"I will take first watch, you sleep"

"It'd be boring if it was safe" Feyre said with a smirk as he concluded his sentence.

She pulled another scabbard and dagger from her satchel and attached it to her hip, in case she runs out of arrows or throwing knives.

"Lead the way grass boy"

So which way do we go?

He thought for a little bit.
"The fastest way to go would be south, straight through the ancient ruins, then out through the southern tip of The Plains of Bohar, then to Adeluna." He paused, "But we should try to do it quickly, those parts are very dangerous… especially at night."

"Fine. But if something happens to me, this knife will be lodged between your eyes" Feyre says with a grin, flipping her small flat blade between her fingers before tucking it back into the thigh holster under her dress.

"So which way do we go?" She asks looking at Pocket.

"Yes, well heading north does sound good in theory, except it is very hard to go out that way… alive, it gets dangerous up there," He said, then he smiled "All the more reason, let's get you out of here, and have some fun too"

Feyre eyes him warily, as he licks his wounds. Her lip curls in disgust as the smell of blood hit her nose. Despite her past as an assassin, she's always hated the iron tang of blood, which made her job very hard to do.

"I'm sure I'll get out of here if I keep going north" Feyre says, pointing into the distance with the dagger she withdrew from her boot. "And I hardly doubt any grizzly would stand a chance against us."

She smiles at the thought of a good fight. The Fae genes in her are always craving the adrenaline rush you get from killing but Feyre has learned to collect and control her aggressive nature and power.

How can she not have been to Virens yet? Pocket though to himself… if she really was lost then there is no way for her to retrace her steps… she'll never get out alive.
"You do realize, that once you're lost in Virens forest… not much hope trying to get out."
He said with a smirk,
"But… If you want to get out I can help you. Sure, it might take a bit but we'll manage"

He climbed up his tree, grabbed his pack and hammock, Jumping down he said,
"Well, if we stay here" licking the fresh claw wound on the arm "another grizzly might come to finish the job."

Feyre lets out a small laugh at the boys assumption, and shakes his hand once, with a firm grip.

"Who said the weird thoughts were about you Pocket" she says, testing out his name. "And as much as I would love to stay here and figure out why you're covered in blood, -grizzly right?- I best be going."

Feyre brushes her hands off on the skirt of her riding gown, and pulls her bow and quiver over her shoulder, ready to continue her journey.

Pocket glances at the girl, she was pretty… but rude.
"I'm not lost if that's what you mean, I live out here. I'm completely capable to fend for myself" he gestures to his body, which is freshly soaked in grizzly blood.
"And if you're having weird thoughts about a teenager soaked in blood, then you need help."

He starts scrambling through his pouch and finds a cloth, Pocket starts to clean his sword, an ugly thing, with it while continuing:
"Anyway, It's nice to meet you, never mind the setting. I'm Pocket"
He sheathes his still crimson sword and reaches out his hand.

Feyre swats his hand away and stands up on her own.

"Maybe I already have weird thoughts" She teases. "How do you know I'm not a centrod?"

Feyre bends over and picks up her satchel, checking to make sure everything was still in place before throwing it over her shoulder. Her hands traveled down to her hips and thigh to make sure all her daggers were still there.

"Say, what are you doing out here on your own anyways?" She asks the boy.

The girl woke up. not very gracefully granted,

"A what?" She asked.

"A Centrod, you would know them if you've ever slept on the ground, they climb into your brain through your ears and give you weird thoughts." Pocket said in a know-how manner.

He lends his hand for the girl.

"Hey Girl, Hey get up before a Centrod gets into your head!"

Feyre woke with a start as the voice pierced through her fitful sleep. She shot up, rather ungracefully, and yawned, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

"A what?" She asked what appeared to be a young boy, maybe 16 at the most.

She scowled in confusion, wondering why a young boy is traveling through the woods alone.

Pocket had been sleeping, sadly "had" was past tense. There was someone in the forest, he could tell.
He got up, yawned and began the run his daily activities, he practiced archery first. Pocket was not much good at archery, every time he loosed an arrow it flew with a screech into the woods. He sighed and slung his bow over his back, running off into the woods where it had flown. However, when he got to the tree he had managed to lodge his arrow in he found a girl napping on the floor at the base of the tree. Oh no, there are some terrible things that happen if you sleep on the forest floor, this is why Pocket always made sure to sleep up high, in a tree far away from any of the creatures that get into your head while you slumber.
Pocket knew he had to wake her up, she couldn't just stay here. Plus he could have sworn he had seen her in Adeluna yesterday when he traveled across the blood mountains.
He poked her softly and said
"Hey Girl, Hey get up before a Centrod gets into your head!"

Feyre stomps her foot on the ground letting out a growl of frustration, the motion loosening her already messy, pastel pink bun even more. She throws the useless, good for nothing map to the floor and kicks some leaves at it, muddying the toe of her leather riding boot. Running a hand down her face and dropping to the floor with a huff, Feyre wonders why she bothered to wander into the stupid forest anyways.

Maybe it's because she wanted to explore something new. Maybe it's because she felt more at peace surrounded by trees rather than buildings. But Feyre knew that in reality, she just wanted to escape the dull city routine.

She leans her head back against the tree and closes her eyes. Maybe if I take a small nap, I'll have more energy to travel later, she thinks to herself, before dozing off, completely oblivious to the figure walking up behind her.
