The Virens forest. It was a darker than usual place full of danger, but it was the place she had to go. It was nestled up against the mountains that held those ancient looking ruins and somewhere, hidden and even older than the ruins, was her place of waking. Lily had decided to go back to that dark cave and see if she could find any clues to what had happened to her people but before she could make it to the mountains she had been attacked. She didn't know who or what her attacker was, only that they were a powerful foe. She was breathing heavily as they had been battling for close to an hour now, neither one giving an inch. Her doe was dressed to conceal their identity, the only thing visible were glowing red eyes. It was impossible to tell if they were a man or woman. Lily on the other hand was wearing a dress like usual, only it had been ripped so the skirt ended at her knees and it was looking a bit tattered from the fight. In one hand she held a sword and the other glowed with magic. Her doe was also getting tired as they had labored breathing. They too held a sword in one hand with magic preped and ready on their free hand. In the blink of an eye the distance between them closed and their swords clashed, both had used spells that made the clash sound more like an explosion as both magical fought to overcome the other. Back and forth their blades clashed as they moved inhumanly fast around the clearing that had been made by an earlier explosion. Her opponent had refused to speak, to give her the reason behind the fight, but she refused to back down. It was like her foe was trying to keep her from returning to the place she had awoken from, but she refused to give up.

After about ten more minutes of this back and forth Lily seemed to get the upper hand and she disarmed her opponent and with her sword wrapped in lightning magic she slashed and made contact despite their efforts to evade. Their throat had been cut enough to ensure they would die. They stumbled back and fell to the found grasping at their neck making gurgling noises as blood seeped into their lungs. Lily fell to her hands and knees gasping for breath. She was utterly worn out after that fight and struggled to keep conscious afterwards to make sure she had won. Her sword vanished with a quiet noise like a windchime and she looked  up at her attacker with her mercury colored eyes. She let out a small yelp as she was not expecting what she saw. The near dead foe threw one last spell at her. In her mind she finally heard their voice, 'I curse you.'  She let out a gasp as she couldn't dodge the attack and was hit full force. Her opponent had used the last of their life to put a curse on her. She clutched her chest as it felt like a dark fire was growing inside of her. It was too much, especially after the fight. She would have to try and cleanse herself of the curse when she had the strength, if it didn't kill her first. She fell face first onto the ground and closed her eyes. Her body demanded rest even as the fire raged inside of her.

Whoever thought trying to get a job to this region was a smart idea? Sure, the wood was great quality, with many purposes, but he feared its worth was not exactly the same as death. "Only a mile in," he told them. That was his only deal, for his sake and those that employed him. At least with that, he can keep marks on his path through the woodlands and keep an easy way out.  Still, the thickness of the woods was quite surprising even for him, having him craft a light rune upon his spear to use as a torch.

It was during the search for a good tree when the sound of an explosion erupted through the trees. It was difficult to pin-point where, but he still sought out where the sound came from, making sure to mark his path along the way. Luckily, he was able to catch sign of the outcome. On the ground lied a cloaked person with blood seeping from their throat. From the design, he could say the person was a cultist of some sort, but to whom, it did not matter. They were dead, and the other person was alive.. .and familiar.

"Lily!" he called out, rushing over to her side. Planting the butt of the spear into the earth, he worked to turn her over to check up on her condition. She certainly seemed exhausted from her conflict, but his main goal was to look for any serious injuries.

She heard someone call her name and her eyes slowly opened. "Douken?" She asked reaching up to touch his face as if making sure he was real. She didnt seem to have any serious injuries, mainly cuts and bruises. She slowly sat up, feeling dizzy. "I, i think I'm alright." She said and looked around. She felt a bit too warm but really nothing seemed off at the moment. That's when it hit her. The dark burning heat of the curse. She held her stomach and moaned, remembering the curse. She didn't know if she had enough energy but she had to try to cleanse herself if it, whatever it was. With a bit of blood from one of her cuts she drew a symbol on her left arm and muttered something under her breath there was a flash of magic but it faded. "Damn." She said and was assaulted by another wave of fire from within her. She looked at Douken, planning to tell him that she was cursed, but the moment she laid eyes on him something else uncoiled from within her. A need she hadnt felt before. She needed him, now, and not in a decent way. "Douken…" she said and touched his face again. "I need…." she got a bit closer to him. "I need you." She closed the short distance and kissed him with a burning fire letting out a soft moan as she did so. The contact, the kiss, it just made her need him more. Douken watched her get up, watching to make sure she didn't fall over again. Her hand reached out towards his cheek as she pushed her face closer, drunk over something over than alcohol. However, he had no room to ask what she was doing as she pushed her lips against his, clinging eagerly at him. Can't control it? Did it have to do with the crest she tried to draw out? Whatever it was, it was probably from the aftermath from her bout. He never heard of magic that drew out the user's desires like this, so he can only guess it was a result from the cultist. Though through the effects of the curse she wondered if he really wanted it or was just doing as she wanted in order to get her to cooperate. She also couldn't help but wonder if this really was all just the curse. A little voice inside her doubted that it was all the curse, and that it just heightened to a ridiculous degree something she may have wanted to begin with.

All rational thoughts, no matter how small were soon taken from her as he finally stopped resisting. She let out a moan as he kissed her, shivering with pleasure at his touch against her bare skin.
