Banging awoke Vinsue. The dragon, now agitated and cranky, got up and stretched. She growled as she did so and soon yawned. Noteising it only got faster she crawled towards the opening and stopped still hidden in the shadow. She let out a roar and slapped her tail against the wall. She then went back to a growl as the metallic smell of blood filled her nostrals. 

Her brown eyes finally adjusting to see a human in armor with a sword drawn and shield up. She snorted at the site and laid down as she let her skin spark with electricity strong enough to form an armor like barrier. Her wings folded but head held up ready to bite or spit flame. It had been years since anyone had tried to do what the man was wanting to do and she was more than happy to teach the man not to mess with her kind. especially not her.

Hyde walked out of Vilpamolan, his sword sheathed and at his side, he wandered through the Virens forest, looking for some place to sit down and have a rest, then, he stumbled upon a cave, the cave had a very foul odor, rotting flesh. Hyde drew his sword and banged it onto a tree, this was a dragon's nest, if he were to collect the dragon's head, he would be rewarded dearly, he banged harder, louder and faster.

He heard rumbling coming from inside the cave, he drew his sword and shield, drinking a strange potion, his leather armor, stained with blood from fighting in the pirate paradise, he was tired, but he needed to slay this dragon, or else he wouldn't have a place to stay in the night.

Hyde waited calmly, patiently and quietly.
