Davik dived to the left, rolling just past the tree which would have given him cover from the blast. Now, instead of being shielded as he had hoped, Davik took the shockwave full-force into his chest. Purple fire flickered in fissures across his chest, reacting to the elemental energy he had been struck with. Davik was rolling again, this time much less voluntarily, and finally came to a stop when he slammed into a tree. Rising back to his feet, slack posture disguising any stiffness from wounds, he spotted his prey again. Perhaps many moons ago it had been a pure Thunder element, but the abomination that floated before him had been corrupted beyond recognition. It still crackled with witchfire, but the lightning that surged like blood through its body was dark and twisting.

Davik drew an arrow from his quiver, taking out the only one not enchanted elementally. With a curt strike he sliced down his own arm, dark blood quickly swelling from his wounded flesh. As the blood dropped off of his arm it swirled, not hitting the ground but instead congealing into a thick orb of life-power. Davik raised his right hand, having returned the arrow to it's quiver, and placed it just above the floating sphere. While the elemental drew in energy for another thunderous impact, he waved both hands around the ball, the dark matter that comprised it slowly thickening and glowing green. A matter of moments before the elemental reached its full charge, he made a hand sign that sent the sphere of earth energy blasting towards it. The attack struck the creature with a deafening crash, blasting a hole in it's center and cauterising the crackling energy that would have healed such a wound. Davik could feel the power of the elemental drop. He could only hope that the noise of this battle wouldn't draw any other, more dangerous attention.
