Beneath the canopy if the green foliage sat a slender figure. Her features were soft, feminine but striking.  A cloud of opaque white smoke escaped her red tinted lips, eyes closed, head tilted upward, back against a large tree trunk. A rolled mixture of herbs sat between her middle and index finger. She brought it to her lips for a second time and inhaled deeply, the soothing smell mixed with her natural floral scent to form an almost irresistible aroma.
 
She extinguishes the last of the herbs into their own ashes and opened her eyes to gaze around her. Nature was a beautiful thing, and she, she was as high as a bird could fly. "Mmm" she eased back, letting the sounds of the song bird that accompanied her, lull her into a world of imagination, of vision, of pure serenity. "Your voice is… beautiful my little Jazz" she said as the little bird landed on her shoulder to nestle in her hair.
 
His voice took her away. She ran deeper into the forest, her feet silent as they touched the soft soil of the earth. Her hair twisted and twirled in the wind, the sound of louder footsteps followed after her. The ground rumbled with every step. Clouds loomed over the once green canopy, covering the seeping rays of sun in grey darkness. Something was wrong and she could feel it. The trees behind her fell with loud 'crashes and then….
 
The noise around her fell silent as her eyes pried open. Her pupils were still dilated, her vision was hazy and she felt groggy from whatever vision that was supposed to be.  "Ugh, I need to stop sleeping after I get high" she couldn't shake it this time for one reason or another and she couldn't figure out why either. 

Turi watches silently from the trees above. "Jazz" he whispers. "What a nice name."
