To Rhea’s relief, Eden took notice to her words enough to stand down from the bear. The bear could care less about them and with the fact of how close they were, it was clear the bear was interested in water, not food. She could not be sure exactly what she understood from her words but it was enough to make Eden turn around and start walking back to the tree they had rested in moments before. Rhea gave a soft smile as she followed along with her. They remained in silence as they walked back. For once, she felt no need for words because they would just break the comfortable feeling that rested between them. The silent communication was simple and beautiful in its own way.

Their clothes had been left forgotten at the tree, but thankfully nothing was interested in them and they still rested there when they returned. Eden began to cloth and Rhea knew that she probably should as well. She noticed before that Eden was shivering from the wind, but for Rhea, the breeze felt wonderfully cold against her skin. She was more excited by the cold environments over the hot ones, which was interesting since she spent a lot of her childhood in a city near a desert and jungle. It always had a layer of heat to it that she had grown to enjoy, but it was the cold, watery environments she loved.

She slid her dress back on adjusting the fabric to sit comfortably on her body. It was one thing that she actually enjoyed about dresses or at least the ones she crafted, they were easy to get off and on quickly. She was slightly sad to be dressing again. If it was up to her, she probably would never wear clothes but there was an odd rule to the world that you should be clothed. She was not sure who came up with the rule but she really did not like them, but she also didn’t like the people who were angered by her not wearing clothes. She had a beautiful body, so why not show it off?

Once she had her dress and slippers back on, she gave a soft smile to her companion. She knew that she could have made her leave now and continue to the city but her body ached to spend a little more time with Eden. She softly sat down beside Eden and pulled her cloak over the both of them. Hopefully, it would be enough warmth to keep the shivers from returning to her friend. Rhea gave a soft smile and rested her head on the shoulder of the Eden and cuddled up to her. She was going to have a good sleep she could feel it. It was too bad that when they woke they would need to return to civilization. She was slightly amazed the comfort that they were able to find in this terrifying forest. She just hoped their luck would continue for their few more hours of rest.

With a quick blink, Eden looked down to the touch on her hand before up to the hands owner, seeing Rhea's smile and comfort right nearby. Her words felt once again foreign, as if able to translate a  bit from her dream, but was able to make read of what was offered… At least the simple terms of it. A simple breeze blew by, covering Eden in a quick shudder as the night air was much cooler than it was in the evening. Maybe it was time to call it a rest.

With Rhea by her side, Eden was quick to follow the path back to the tree before resting the weapon in the earth again and picking up the cloth pieces that rested upon the ground. It had only taken Eden a few minutes to work the pieces of clothes back together on her (even if it was a bit sloppy with the bands holding things together) as she finished putting on the final piece, throwing her mess of hair out of her clothes and down her back. Still, a yawn escaped her as she once again looked up at the night sky. It was quite late. A proper rest would do her good.

However, it felt like she was in more control of her sleep now than last time. Giving one final look at Rhea, Eden seated herself upon the grassy floor, weapon resting on the floor and her shoulder as her head drooped down, possibly showing Rhea how she had slept since her escape: always on alert. However, a second flow of wind once more sent a shiver down her spine.

Everything began to relax around them as the moment passed. Eden relaxed in her arms and rested against her silently. Rhea was unsure what else she could ask her new friend, but she was enjoying just having her close. It was a strange thought to just be comfortable curled up with someone outside the normal situations. Maybe this was the idea of having a friend and the comfort that came with it. She was learning a lot about the way her heart worked and new things that she never fully understood before. It made her want to spend all the time in the world lost in the dream with Eden but, sadly, the moment passed as a soft rumbling sound echoed into the realm.

They were no longer alone. Rhea knew almost instantly that the sound had not come from the dream. She was unsure how she had not detected a creature moving closer to him but it was enough to break the meditation instantly. It was enough to wake up Eden as well as she shifted out of Rhea’s grasp. Rhea had to blink a couple of times as the world became solid around her. She had been in the meditation for so long that she had almost fallen asleep herself. Maybe that was the reason something had gotten so close to them?

The lack of Eden in her arms brought the cold breeze against her skin. She softly shivered as she slowly pushed herself out of the hole in the tree. Eden had already disappeared from sight by the time she was up and without grabbing anything she followed quickly behind her. Her magic would be enough to protect her if anything bad were to happen. She pushed through the brush and found the creature that let out the noise. Eden was standing there silently watching the bear. Rhea's hand reached out and softly touched against Eden’s weaponed hand.

“Leave it be. It does not seem to care about us. We have no reason to fight something that does not want to fight. Let us get dressed and move on. I think this is a sign that we should move on.”Rhea's voice came out as a soft whisper. She wanted the voice quiet enough to not scare the bear. It continued to drink away from the lake uncaring about the shuffles in the trees. It probably knew it did not completely care because it knew its own strength. She could only hope that Eden would understand her words and touch. She knew a lot of her language was not understandable for Eden.

Eden could feel Rhea's arms wrap around Eden as she recovered from her panic, her breathing feeling really heavy as she tried to catch her breath once more. It seemed whatever Eden went through threw Rhea into a panic, causing her to try and do whatever she could to relax the tigerkin. In her head, she would have probably found a solid object to wail upon to relieve the stress and pain she was feeling, but for her partner, it seemed holding and… eating her forehead was the way to do it? Well, not really eating… sucking? She could feel Rhea's lips on her forehead and not her teeth… was she trying to suck away all the bad thoughts in her head? While she could understand why it was supposed to help, it did not stop her from smiling to her friend's acts of comforting her.

As the two were placed closed together, a strange echo suddenly filled the dreamscape. Something very out of place. A loud grumble…. a bit of a roar… sounds of… a bear? Yeah, it would have been bear echoes that found themselves into her realm for a strange reason. Intermixed with it was a strange sound, but it was hardly noticeable, let alone legible. However, it was enough to cause Eden's ears to perk up and break away from Rhea's head as she looked around, the realm about warping around them, signs of white closing in on the pair. It was as if a wave that washed away all the color started to flood around them on an island that was about to be consumed, taking everything and everyone it touched with them until the realm itself disappeared.

Eden's eyes darted open in the real world, finding her head resting upon the breast of a sleeping Rhea, whose arms had been placed around her waist. Slipping free of her grasp, the naked tigerkin stood up, taking hold of her weapon before heading to see where the sounds of the bear came from, her eyes adjusting to the night sky, only to find it casually drinking from the lake they once bathed in…

Rhea could not help but note the confusion that dashed over Eden’s face when Rhea talked about comfort. The words came out soft enough that she could have missed them if she had not seen her companion’s lips move. Her gaze never left Eden as she studied the emotions that passed over her features. You could see the emotion that came with each of her thoughts. Rhea could not help be let a small smirk tug at her lips for a moment. She could see when one thought ended and another began. It made her curious to know if Eden even realized that she wore her feelings on her sleeve, especially when it came to confusion and her process of trying to figure out what someone meant it.

Her brow furrowed as Eden answered the next question that she had asked. She had never heard of a shackle that had not a single weak point. They had to have been bonded at a point, so she could only assume that there was some form of magic that was holding it all in place. She did not want to imagine what it had been like to have the shackle placed around her neck. For them to form two pieces into one around someone's neck must have been painful for the subject. The fingernails of her lose hand pressed into the skin of her thigh. If it had not been them being in a dreamscape, it could have cut her skin and caused bleeding. The idea of what her new friend could have gone through angered her. It angered her in a way that she had not realized she even still owned.

Maybe there were people that she could grow close to? The idea was almost bizarre. She had spent so much time around her family that she had begun to think that the only people close to her would be that family. She could only recall her friends growing up being the children of her Aunt and there had been so many of them through the years that sometimes she lost track of who she had met and hadn’t. She had never been the best with names, but she always remembered a face. There was something about someone’s face that always ran out in her mind. There was a pure uniqueness to each person that made them special and made it easier to catalog in her mind. Even twins held a similarity, but a difference that could be kept to recognize them. She knew a few twins who had tried to trick her when she was little but it never worked unless they resorted to magic to make themselves perfectly identical.

It appeared that Eden was not taking well to the answer either. She grew silent after she spoke the simple words but soon her breath grew labor and pulled Rhea from her own thoughts. ”Eden?” She whispered, her eyes worriedly watching the smaller girl. Her hand softly rubbed against her bare back, trying to calm as she struggled to breathe but it did not seem to help. Eden had gotten trapped in her own mind and Rhea was forced to sit and wait for her to return. Rhea jumped slightly in her spot when Eden suddenly screamed. The simple word was enough to take Rhea’s breath for a moment as let Eden slam at the ground. The moment passed almost instantly as Eden spoke out again in the same broken words. What did she mean about ‘taking peace’?

Rhea let all thoughts be abandoned the moment she saw the tears that began to roll down her companion’s cheeks. ”Eden, what is wrong? Did I say something wrong? Forgive me.” Her words came out quickly as a slight panic. Her arms wrapped around her and her mind raced for a moment on what she was supposed to do? She was not completely sure what would be the best action in a situation like this. She could only think of one other thing to do in a moment like this, outside of the hold she already had around Eden. Diverting from the main idea, she did follow through with something close to her idea. She leaned down and softly pressed her lips to the top of Eden’s head. The kiss was soft and sweet, something that was not normal from the siren. ” I am not going anywhere. It is okay.” She let her head softly rest on Eden’s, keeping her arms wrapped tightly around her. This was probably one of the first time she was innocently holding someone naked.

"Comfort… in naked?" Eden could not help but mutter in return, tilting her head in confusion more, ears drooping down as she tried to get things clicking in her head. She had yet to find a moment outside of her cage that she could call comfort. Hell, even the idea of being free was not as comforting as it should have been thanks to slave hunters wanting to bring her back on a leash and into the ownership of another man. Why could she not be granted such a simple peace?

Rhea's next question snapped her back a bit, ears perking back up and eyes looking into hers before drooping back down again. "Shackle… not remove… No weak spot…" Yes. Unlike those that held her up against the wall like her "opponents" before, the shackle that strangled her was not a simple one. There was no hinge to tear off. No joint. It was forced onto her as if to be a permanent fixture…

Eden was soon finding herself struggling to breathe as she thought about it, sweat forming upon her brow and body. Why… why did it feel so hot? Why was her head suddenly feeling stiff as her neck felt like it was being nearly engulfed in flames? The skin itself began to change, too, as if getting a sudden skin burn as he air soon echoed with a gagged cry. A younger Eden's muffled voice, trying to declare a voice as she panicked… and the orc's voice muffled on top of it. Words worn out by age, but still enough to hold her still as the repressed memory tried to force her into yet another nightmarish state…

"NO!" she found herself screaming, slamming the ground hard to break away the sound back into the voice zone. "No… take… peace…" In her sweaty state, kneeling over, she could feel the tears roll down her cheek as she tried to cling to her latest comfort. Not being naked, but being with Rhea.

“Mhm, dream.” Rhea could not help but let out a soft giggle at her companion’s confusion at her words. She was very curious about why she seemed so confused at the idea of dreaming. She softly explained but it still made Rhea confused but curious. She never thought of the idea of not dreaming. She wondered what it would be like to have no dreams. She thrived off of them, herself because it was one of the easiest ways to enjoy her deepest desires when she was unable to do them. She had a lot of dreams about her family when she went into hiding after her fall. She felt a need to be completely alone and escape the world around her. She partly had wanted to world to forget about her, but part of her still clung to the wish to be remembered. Her dreams always revolved around what she felt she was lacking in her life. She wouldn’t admit that to Eden, but the idea of no dreams felt almost refreshing while being a completely weird concept.

She could not escape the feeling in her stomach as Eden looked at her with the titled head and asked her if naked was bad. Rhea hand quickly came up to her mouth as the laughter escaped her lips. Her body went a little as she tried to control the almost hysterical laughter. She had never met a woman like her and she wanted nothing more to spend forever in this dream with her. The more she started talking, the more she wanted to know more about her. ”No, no…” Rhea breathed out through more soft laughter, ”There is nothing wrong with naked. If it were up to me, I would never dress. My mother always frowned upon the idea, however, she told me it was not proper to run around in the nude.” A large rested on her lips as she watched Eden, even her eyes seemed to glimmer with the happiness she was feeling.

The real smile. Her smile was far different from that normal sweet smirk that was normally plastered against her lips. It was a bad influence that she had gotten from her father. They hid their emotions behind a grin, sometimes until it was too late to let someone see what was actually within. The last time she had felt so free and comfortable was when she was young and running loose in her aunt’s temple. There was always something about her territory that created a feeling of childhood freedom that was almost impossible to find now. She almost could see that little girl in Eden’s eyes. Rhea could almost feel the envy in the pit of her stomach.

“I guess we are starting to see what is similar between us. We both find comfort in just being naked.” Rhea let off another laugh before finally calming herself. Her eyes watched Eden curiously as she finally leaned forward closer. “Why have you not removed your shackle in the awake world? Her eyes shifted to where the man once fell to the ground before back to Eden. “Does he still have a hold over the shackle?”

"… Dream?" she repeated, as if seeing if that triggered anything in her head. Unfortunately, it did not, leaving her state of mind floating in a bit more confusion until she stated they were still where they were while still being here. Were dreams always linked to sleep? She could hardly think about it. After all, while she was shackled, sleep was a privilege, and since she escaped, she had still yet to fully enjoy it.

"Eden rarely dream," she finally stated, shaking her head after the comment of them being naked still before pointing at herself. "Sleep alert. Like prey." Her hand went to touch her collar instinctively before her fingers waved through the air, blinking at the sudden difference and touching her "neck" as if in a bit of shock. Still, it did not take her long to shake off the feeling and gaze back at Rhea. "Even after what did, I still not relax enough to enjoy sleep.

Why?
" she finally came to ask, tilting her head over to Rhea. "Is naked… bad?" Was she missing something here? After all, there was no question about it while they were awake. Why would there be issue within sleep?

Rhea curiously watched Eden as she let out a chuckle before letting confusion take over. Eden had finally taken notice of everything that had just happened. She had wondered what her companion actually understood when they were in the awake world. As the words slowly left Eden’s lips, Rhea could not suppress the soft giggles. The poor girl had no idea what was actually going on. She let out words slowly and Rhea tried to give her a moment to figure it out herself. She found it interesting that she had lived through the nightmare to start being confused where she was.

Rhea could assume that the woman normally did not have dreams where she knew that she was in a dream. Rhea used to have them a lot when she was a child. It had been one of the things that caused her to beg her mother to teach her all she knew. She had always wanted to be like her parents. More her father than her mother. He always made magic appear unique in a way that she was always left breathless. Her mother was more down to earth and taught her how to wield her innate abilities as well the basic of survival. It was all lessons that would one day help her, but the thrill of the unknown always called to her. The treasure and adventures that would come from new discovery were far more fun than sitting around growing herbal plants.

As her companion tried to pinpoint what had actually occurred, the world continued to shift around them. The newest event was the shackle around her neck cracked away until there was nothing left but a strange shadow. Rhea’s attention was quickly adverted to the current event, starting with pure excitement at the strange skin colored haze. The color did not exactly help distract from the strange gap between the solid skin. It was fascinating what strange ways Eden’s mind worked.

The woman had let a comforting landscape materialize around them and tried to make herself a neck. Rhea was unsure why Eden did not just look at Rhea’s neck to help her know exactly what would most likely beneath the collar. She could only assume from the lack of a seam on the collar in reality that Eden had spent most her life with it on and not off. The idea of it being off was completely foreign to her and thus the strange occurrence now. Rhea would need to remember to write this experience down once she was awake again. She would not want to forget this strange encounter.

Rhea remained excitedly waiting for Eden to come to some form of conclusion when Eden turned to ask her the words she had been secretly dreading. A frown crossed the siren’s lips for a moment before letting off another soft giggle at the situation. She could not stay upset at a moment like this. It was too bizarre and amazing to not be having the time of her life. ”You are simply asleep. We are in your dream!” Rhea raised her hands up to try to motion to everything around them. She was hoping she was proving her point. ”I weaved my way into your dream with your help. You let me in is the easier way to say it. We are actually sit resting in the tree.”

Rhea head softly titled as she watched her new interest. She did not exactly know if she was explaining everything perfectly but she only could hope that she could understand what she was trying to say. It was a strange concept to get around if you were not used to it. Magic causes a lot of concepts that did not completely make sense when spoken out loud. Her eyes shifted down at her lack of clothing before finally deciding to bring it up. She did not actually care if she was wearing clothes or not, but she was curious on the why of it all. ”Do you always dream of people naked?” A smirk crossed her lips.

Another chuckle came from Eden after Rhea's comment before finding herself pausing and looking around the area, her face showing major signs of confusion. "Where water?" Eden pondered out loud as the dreamscape continued to shape into the realm of comfort Eden was in, even if it was very simplistic. "You sing… then I tired… then here?" She scratched head in confusion as she tried to understand what was even happening. Did Rhea move her after she fell asleep? And what of her weapon? Her clothes? After all, now that things calmed down, the dream did begin to lean into their current situation as the trees started to form around them while dressing them as they were before they fell asleep.

As she kept getting lost in her thoughts, the shackle around her neck began to crack, bits falling off and disappearing into dust after hitting the floor, as if the collar itself was more dirt than steel until her neck was completely free. However, her neck was still hidden in shadow mostly because she had never really seen her neck before, though slowly adapting her skin color, as if adapting itself to be more comfortable than a floating head.

Being sure to look at Rhea, she asked, "What happen?" hoping she knew what was going on. After all, Rhea told Eden to trust her before she found herself tired.

Rhea let her hands rest softly on Eden’s shoulder trying to help steady her as she spoke out softly to her. She lowered to the grass below and let her rest her body into her own if she wanted. While Rhea was on the smaller side, Eden still fit her like a glove. The words she had been able to let out was that her body ached, which Rhea could easily understand. She had gone through a lot and it had to have been very taxing on her body even in her dreams.

The awkwardness sank in at that moment as they both rested softly on the grass below. Hazel eyes glanced around the area, only finally taking notice to how different the area not appeared. She silently wondered when the scenery had changed but she was rather happier with the certain area over the previous one. This was far more calming for her, but it also reminded her that they would not need to try to talk. It was a good that Eden was making a couple of words but they were not exactly what she had wished for. Nothing good came easy. Her mother had taught her that.

Eden let out a small chuckle as her eyes stared up at the blue skies. Rhea reminded at first but with the laughter became infectious as she let her body rest in the grass beside her. Her head stared up at the sky but her eyes remained glued to her companion. She was still very worried about her, however, it did not seem like her worry was affecting Eden at all. The girl laughed, cried, then shrugged it off like it was nothing. It helped bring a little comfort but, also, made Rhea even more curious about what she was thinking. What was going on in her head now?

She had so many questions that she was unsure which one, to begin with. This experience had actually been new to her. She had been in many dreams and seen a lot from the minds of others but nothing like this. Everyone’s minds worked differently that it made each situation completely different. Rhea had become very used to thinking on her feet. Rhea was instantly pulled from her thoughts as Eden reached for the glass of water that she still held in her hands. She had completely forgotten she had held it. She was amazed that none had poured the whole time. Maybe the water was so important to Eden that it would have been impossible to spill? Or maybe it had fallen in the other scenery and Eden had made it reappear with her own mind? Dreams were a strange place to be.

Eden downed the drink like it was nothing and Rhea found herself giggling once again. There was something about this girl who kept Rhea guess and she loved it. After everything that happened, she drank a glass of water like it was a fine glass of wine. ”I am glad it is good. You took me for the adventure there, Eden. I guess I should have known your dreamscape would be just as unique as you have already shown us.” She let out a soft giggle after her words and the famous smirk covered her lips as she watched her companion. She wondered what would happen next. What would be the next strange adventure in this dream?

It took a while for everything to calm down as Eden heaved heavily, fighting for breath as the shackles around her began to crack and fall off, piece by piece along with almost everything else surrounding them. Every puppet, on-watcher… even the walls themselves slowly cracked and turned to dust  before the wind blowing the fragments away until the pair were left in a barren stretch of desert. However, as soon as Eden fall over, the land itself began to shift, turning more into more of a meadow of grass with the sky clearing away its calamity into a more peaceful state.

"Body… ache…" Eden soon found herself answering after Rhea asked the question so long ago… before finding herself to be… chuckling? She could not even understand why, but she suddenly found herself laying in the grass, chuckling about what just happened, eyes watering up as she looked at a peaceful sky. Once she got that out of her system, though, she pulled herself back up into a sitting position before spotting and taking the glass of water out of Rhea's hands and downing the drink. "Good," she stated, holding up the glass.

Everything was slowly becoming unraveled. The arena grew silent after Rhea let the last of her words out. The world was beginning to change as Eden let her will take over the nightmare. Rhea could feel her heart thundering in her chest as she watched the world crumble. ”I think… I did something…” Rhea spoke out in a soft whisper. Who knew if Eden would be able to hear her, but she never was good about using her inner monologue correctly. She was well known for talking to herself.

Hazel eyes watched her friend eagerly. Standing and waiting was the only thing that she could do now. The chain began to rust and Eden was fighting against them but it did not appear to be enough. Her eyes darted between everything worried. She did not know what else to say. She knew nothing about the tigerfolk’s past to help with the situation. She wished she knew what had caused her to break free before. She was currently free, at least that is what it appeared like in the living world, so there must have been something she had done to break free.

The mire thought along with Eden’s thoughts cause something to appear in Rhea’s grasp. Her eyes widened as she stared down at her hand. A glass of water? What did a glass of water have to do with the current situation? She knew that it had to be Eden’s doing. The silence was eerie was the sound of mental drowned out the last of the noise. A voice rang out finally that was not the sound of the orc. Her eyes quickly shifted towards to see that it was her talking.

”Eden…” Her words wavered as she moved closer to her. She pulled the orc to the ground and he appeared before them smaller than before. He barely was the size of the two of them. He was rather tiny now that he was on solid ground. With one simple word from Eden’s lips, he disappeared into dust with the shattering of the chain.

All Rhea knew was this was going to be quite the story one day. People’s dreams were always very interesting and made the best stories. The way they made the world around them work off of the thoughts in their mind. To take a horrible nightmare to this, now, oddly calm scene.

”Are you okay?” Rhea spoke out softly now. She was ready for a rest with an enjoyable conversation. She had not expected the dreamscape to be what it had been. She could only hope that she would be able to speak to Eden. She was speaking out words but they had been very few and jumbled through the dream.

Everything flowed with its normal pacing, Eden's dull eyes staring down her blank-faced competitor. However, every word Rhea spoke seemed to had resonated within her, her eyes righting between the dull and bright state as she fended herself off. Lightning cracked within the sky, and within that moment, the orc's head became whole as he grinned with wide-toothy grin. After all, he was playing with his toys… playing with her.

But he is not in control, is he? echoed through the dream, giving a pause to the crowd and the nightmare, letting Eden perform the final hit, breaking the shackles off yet another doll, leaving it lying there, lifeless. After all, was that work all for nothing? Lightning flashed again, Eden's eyes drawn to this flash as the image of his whole head was replaced with her weapon… the instance of her assault upon him that took his life. However, that was not all.

Those chains are rusted and old.It was Rhea's voice being repeated, shaking the foundation of the realm itself. Within an instant, the smooth iron chains became dulled and rusted. After all, she had been under him so many years, there would not have been any signs of rebellion. Rebellion that was stirred by a simple item…

It was then an item found its way into Rhea's hand: a simple glass of water. It may be nothing to her, but to Eden, it was the trigger to her mutiny and revolt against the massive being. The aid of another that granted her such quenching that she drove herself nearly feral to hunt down and remove that which hindered her, and it was here, yet again, did she find herself bound.

"ROUND 13…" the orc's voice echoed once he brought himself back from the echoes from the sky, moving to take yet puppet from the wall. However, before he could make the links, something stopped him. A tug on Eden's chains! His puppet… pulling back on what held her up! It was not long before a scream bellowed from the tigerkin's throat before yanking so hard that the echo of splitting metal drowned out everything.

"Not… toy…" Eden muttered, her voice still in that massive blend. "Eden not toy! Eden… EDEN IS FREE!" With her hands freed, he could do nothing to stop her from grasping the chain around her neck and pulling hard on it, causing a notable reaction from it. He tried to trip her up by pulling on her legs, but those chains shattered like glass from the attempt itself. It was only a short moment after that Eden was able to finally break through, hurling the massive body over her shoulder and into the ring, where he laid even smaller than the two. Even as she heaved, she stared down the small figure, watching it shake in its boots, just as before when she cornered him and took his life. "Away," she stated simple, turning the orc into dust before shattering the chain that lingered on her neck.

Nothing ever seemed to work out exactly how she wanted it. Dreams were finicky and the only one who could completely have control over it was the owner. Rhea could not interact with anything in this world. No one would see her because she was merely a guest watching the show. She missed the strength she had once had. There was so much that she had once been able to do but no longer could manage. It infuriated her and it was one of the few times anyone would most likely see actually angry.

Rhea wanted nothing more but to help Eden. She knew that she could not intervene physically but there had to be something she could do. Eden had called out to her when she had jumped into the arena with her but the voice was almost completely canceled by all the noises around them. She could barely make out a thing Eden said but by the motions of the lips, she had to presume it was her name.

Above them, something shifted and Eden was brought to a choke hold being lifted a little from the ground. Rhea screamed as her eyes rose to the sky seeing something that she completely missed the first time. She had been so focused on trying to find a way into the arena that she completely missed the current ruler of the dreams. A voice boomed out again over the area and she began to realize what possible was the history behind her strange new friend. It made Rhea sick.

” I will help you. I promise…” Rhea yelled out but her voice lost its strength towards the end. She was making empty promises that she may not be able to keep. She never liked to promise something that should not follow through. She normally had a thing against making promises and yet she felt like that was all she was doing. She wanted to use her powers to stop if all but all she could do was watch. It would be up to Eden to break through her dream. She must have done it before because there was no one holding the other line of the rein in the living world.

Rhea tried to move closer to her as she avoided the fighting that was beginning to start again. The only thing that she could do was break through the haze and somehow help Eden break free from the chains that were binding her, literally. ” Eden, do not speak. Give me a nod if you must, I am here. This is your dream, not his. He actually controls nothing if you do not want him too.”

Her eyes shifted between the woman and the puppeteer. There had to be something to help Eden breakthrough the dream and take control. She knew it had to be fear that was keeping her in chains in her own dreams. She was cursing many deities at the moment as she tried to think of anything. Then, a smirk grew on her face and she yelled out to Eden, “Have you ever actually looked at that man up there Eden? Those chains are rusted and old. I do not think they could bear against your strength. Take them and pull them, they will break at your strength. I know strength.”

Her eyes shifted up at the man. She wanted to help so bad but she could only hope this would do. ” This is not your worst nightmare. This is your biggest moment of strength. You break through those rusted chains and make him powerless. He is nothing compared to your will and strength.” For a moment her heart ached as the words left her lips. This had once been the very thing she held.

There was a small pulse that went over Eden when the voice had called out to her. An… abnormality to the dream. Her eyes shined to life hearing it and seeing a familiar figure run towards her in such a dangerous ground! "Rhea!" She found herself calling out, her voice masked by the echoes of screams, yells, and snarls she had used herself along with Orcish tones to try and connect the pieces together. However, before she even had a chance to react, the chains rattled as her collar rose, catching the tiger-kin off guard as the massive figure above moved the puppeteering tool to choke her.

"NOW, NOW," the Orcish voice boomed from above, "I THOUGHT WE HAD A TALK ABOUT THIS. NO TALKING ALLOWED!" As if punishment, he moved the other humanoid puppet to strike the defenseless Eden, lowering the tool enough to let her fall into the dirt and curl in pain. "YOU HAVE NO NEED FOR A VOICE! ALL YOU NEED IS TO FIGHT. FIGHT AND WIN FOR ME! OR DO YOU WANT TO BE DRILLED IN ANOTHER WAY?" His laughter echoed through the dream realm, enough so that it became contagious to the crowd. However, Eden did not understand the joke nor the implication. All she thought was that it was a face worse than this, and thus got back up, the light from her eyes dulled again once more as a doll before being brought to fight off the figure once more.

However, it more or less seemed that Rhea was still unrecognized from this sudden action. It was not like she was a ghost, as she could not pass through anything. It was more like she was not being recognized by the rest of the figmented figures that she was even there.

There was only so much that Rhea could do when she was in a dream. She had forgotten how different it was to walk a dream as a mortal. Everything functioned differently when you no longer had the power behind it that a deity did. At least there was one normal position, she was an outsider of the dream no matter her power. It was always a strange feeling but this time it was even stranger. The world filled in around her. The once silence was replaced with a screaming crowd. The beautiful forest was no more but she was in a place that made her want to sweat.

All around her was faceless creatures cheering at something that was happening down below. From what she could figure, which some of it was pretty obvious, she was in a colosseum watching a fight down below. From where she stood she could barely see what was happening in the circle below. She could only pray Eden was not down there, however she knew her luck well and assumed that was exactly where she was. She still did not know a lot about Eden but she was beginning to start to pick up on pieces of it. The collar was beginning to make sense now that she was seeing this strange dream.

She pushes through the crowd until she was able to get herself to the lower levels of the Colosseum and she finally was able to catch sight of the people fighting below. It was the moment she had been regretting the whole way down. It was just as she had feared, Eden was in the arena fighting. She had just finished killing the person but another round began right after. Rhea was unsure what to do. This was the first real fight she had encountered since everything that happened. She could feel her body shake as she watched the scene take place. What the hell could she do?

"Eden! I am here." She yelled out and without thinking she pushed herself over the small barrier and dropped to the sand below. It was Eden, some weird being, and herself. "I already regret jumping down here." Rhea sighed loudly and gave a big smile to Eden, "Hello!"

Following Rhea, she took her steps over to where she wanted to help, telling her everything was alright before touching her cheek. Of course, her natural reaction was to take a step back, but paused before having to remind herself it was for the better, taking a moment to rest her weapon and clothes back on the floor before returning to the other's front, staying still now as she cupped her cheek again. What was it she wanted to do to help, anyways? It was not long before the other began to sing. While she did find the method odd, it was a very sweet melody. Very… relaxing… soothing…

Her stance shook a bit as she felt her knees fight to stay up. Was it… her doing? It was hard to tell… her eyes… they did not change… like before… Maybe… she was simple tired out from the… incident… She did spend… a lot… of energy… and she was… trustwor…

Her knees were quick to give out as her body slid forward into Rhea, her limbs loose like a doll. It was the deepest sleep she had ever fallen into, considering she often slept with her guard up, but the spell worked its magic very effectively, causing her her breathe lightly into Rhea's shoulder as she was shifted around with absolutely no fuss. After all, to her, everything had vanished into a deep black void.

The next thing she knew, the sounds of chains echoed through the entire field as sand brushed against her spin. "Hryaaah!" she bellowed as if on auto-pilot, the peaceful waterfalls now replaced with a desert Colosseum, the Tigerkin pitted against another man that had no face upon him. In fact, attached to the walls were more humanoid beings of varying genders and races all sharing the faceless trait, along with shackles upon their necks, wrists, and ankles holding them onto the wall. These items were also attached to the two fighters inside as they clashed, but their attachments were much different. Instead, they were chains raising into the sky before linking them to marionette control bars, guided by a massive figure looming over them: a massive orc within a suit, even though half of head head was missing.

The figure grinned as he played the two like toys, having the two fight each other senselessly before controlling Eden to perform the finishing blow, knocking the other off his shackles, the body now laying like a motionless doll. However, before she could even get a breath in, the massive figure moved the control bar to another person on the wall, linking them together before pulling it off, saying, "Round 12," before chuckling and forcing the two to fight more.

It was Eden's nightmare: the thought of being controlled by this figure still lingering even from beyond the grave…

The communication remained strained between the two women. Rhea had begun to really realize how much Eden was probably not understanding. There remained a constant look of confusion with minor moments of clarity. She worried that if the dream world would help her. Could she really be able to communicate further with her if Eden did not seem to comprehend half of the language? There was a lot of doubt that was beginning to collect in the back of her mind. She just had to hope that Eden being about to respond would start a line of communication that was lost to them. The doubt etched on her nerve, however, she had always been too stubborn for her own good. She could find a way to have a real conversation with Eden.

Hazel eyes watched Eden calmly, a nearly perfect facade to the doubt she felt, as she picked up all her things and back to her. Rhea made sure to grab her own things but motioned for her companion to follow her. She could remember clearly where the tree she had seen before was. It would allow enough privacy for the two of them. She could only hope that no one would find them. She most likely would take notice if someone tried to mess with their bodies. Dream weaving functioned much like normal sleep. She would be able to feel if someone touched her like she would if she were naturally asleep. Thankfully, she was not too heavy of a sleeper. She was a very soft sleeper but would play dead awaiting the moment she had to eventually wake. Obviously, she loved napping.

The memory of where the tree rested was not wrong. It only took the siren a moment to find the hollow try to point it out to her companion. She shifted a little in her steps as she slowed to a stop in front of it. Now came the harder part, the easiest way to bring sleep to Eden was to use her voice. She hoped that she would not scare her with it. It would hard for her to break away from the voice with them so close and with Rhea in the control of the situation as it was. She let a small breath out and gave Eden a soft smile. Here went nothing.

“Now, trust me. This will not hurt you. You are safe with me” She laid her hand out to Eden, glancing down for a moment to signal she wanted her to come to her. Once Eden was close, she let her one of her hands softly touch against her cheek. It was a soft and gentle touch and when Eden did not pull away, Rhea began to sing softly. Her eyes did not alter colors, however, they remember their vibrant hazel as the siren’s song enchanted Eden’s ears. It did not take long for the control to completely take effect and Eden to fall limp in her arms. Rhea quickly cradled her, resting her down in the hollow of the tree on her lap. She would hold her close in her arms. If anyone dared to mess with either of them, she would feel it and wake.

Rhea got settled and let her mind begin to meander. It did not take long for her mind to drift and her form projected into the plane of dreams. It would only work on the dreams near her, so hopefully, there were no other willing participants outside of Eden. She also had to hope that Eden would allow her into her mind. There was a moment where the world was dark and everything felt strange but then she could feel the ground beneath her feet. It was almost as if she was standing again even though a moment before she was sitting. It was then she knew it worked and her eyes open to find herself in the land of dreams. Now, what would Eden be dreaming of?

Eden's eyes blinked at the sounds that came from Rhea's mouth, trying to take in what she had said. While she had never known what some of them were supposed to mean, some did sound familiar. Words like "help" and "safety" were ones that came to mind, but the one was much softer… She thought for a moment on where she heard them, before the image of the arena came back into mind. They were noises spoken by her enemies. Ones her owner told her to assault mercilessly, though never in the way that actually killed… In fact, he was the first one she ever did…

Her head shook a bit, as if to shake out the ideas from her head once more. Her voice was soft and comforting, offering her aid, not the rash and pleadful ones that begged for their lives. She was here to assist her. To… help… her.

Shifting herself to her knees, she moved herself moving back onto her feet, stumbling a bit as she worked on her balance a quick moment. However, once it was gotten, she briefly brushed off the sand and dirt that had stuck to her side and butt before walking over to her items. She curled the kimono items underneath her arm while taking the handle of her weapon with the other, lifting it a bit before it impacted the ground once more. It seemed the incident still made her feel weak, allowing her to carry it for quick moments before rest. It was no matter, really. As long as she could still move it, it did not matter.

Slowly taking the sword and clothes with her, she returned back to Rhea's side, tilting her head, as if to try and signal what she wanted to do to help.

There was denying the strange fear that was coming from Eden. Rhea’s eyes curiously watched her softly grasp at her collar. Now that she was so close she began to take notice that it oddly did not seem to have any way to remove it. She was curious why the woman had not had it removed from around her neck, but she knew well that she would not get any answers to any of her questions the way things were currently. She wanted to know of a way to work with this woman and help her. There was something obviously wrong and there was nothing that she could do. It was frustrating to Rhea.

As her companion shook, Rhea let her arms wrap more securely around her while keeping one hand still lost in the tangles of hair. She was worried about Eden but still unsure what to do to help them at this point. She was breathing normally and did not appear to be physically harmed from the drowning, but she not mentally well at the moment. Hazel eyes watch her softly and she spoke out again.

”It may be better for us to move away from the waterside. I could acquire your clothes for you. I am happy to help you.” There was a soft smile that covered her lips as she watched Eden curiously. It was then that an idea came to her mind. While the woman did not seem to speak verbally, maybe she spoke mentally. She did not know how to go about trying to use telepathy with the woman, but there was an easier method that could allow them to speak. The only problem was where they could do it because it required safety on both their parts.

”If you wish to speak to me more. I have an idea. You must trust me for it to work. I can take us someone close that will be safe. I saw a tree not far from the water that was hollow in the center. It would give us the safety of cover for now. It will be a slight squeeze, however.” Her eyes watched the woman waiting for her response. She tried to not ask too much at once to allow her to respond to movements as needed. There was no way for her to verbally answer them easily, after all.

She felt Rhea's hand rest upon Eden's deep blue hair, which laid on the sand as a loose tangle. There was not even a single moment of effort to undo the braid she had throughout the entire encounter, letting only the water alone to try and slowly undo the twists and turns. Her body was flooded with guilt now. She had never had to deal with such comforts in the past. When she lost, she was punished. When she won, she was rewarded with bare essentials. Everything else was a comfort never experienced before.

"That's because I own you!"

Her hand at the collar soon moved to the remaining links upon the thick steel, tightening her grip on the chain to stop any ring leak out from her grasp. She may have escaped his grasp on her body, but even if death did he still hold her mind. She got away from that area to be free of him. To be free of anyone. And yet… and yet their grasp on her still choked the air from her lungs.

She had never heard a voice so soft and sincere, though. Even the nurses after the brutal combat were full and lifeless. After all, they were not mothers or babysitters. They were men paid to make sure the people they took care of were passable in their conditioning and recovery.

Eden took a moment to try and shake away those thoughts before looking back up at Rhea, giving her a small nod. She had to not submit. Not here. Not anywhere. She fought for her freedom. She earned it. All she had to do now was to accept it.

Still, her body shook from the unconscious thoughts that she tried to drive out, her body lightly curling into Rhea's, as if to seek some sort of comfort from her. Whether it was because of the concern she gave or her simply being there to comfort her, who could say.

It was the first real noise that Rhea had ever heard come out of Eden’s lips. The lovely sound of gagging on water as she rolled over slightly. It normally would be a sound that made the other person gag or felt disgusted. Rhea had never felt so alive and excited in her life. She had done a lot of exciting things in her life, many of them really stupid, but never did she feel her heart almost skipping a beat. The fear and worry seemed to wash away as Eden’s eyes opened and slowly looked up at her. If Rhea was more of an emotional person, she probably would have started crying but a couple tears sliding down her cheek was the most she would show. It was a slight glimmer of what could be behind that façade of smirks and curious gazes. It let someone see what could be deep in her heart.

The siren rested her hand on the back of Eden’s head trying to give her support to breath and relax a little more after everything that happened. She could read the emotion that was running through Eden’s mind and even as she eyes broke away, she could easily read the body posture. She was sinking away from Rhea and she knew that it occurred to her that she should have rethought her actions. Rhea did not the extent that Eden had acted because the most she saw was the moment of Eden disappearing under the water away from her. It happened incredibly quickly and, now, seemed like a blur.

”Oh, thank the deities,” Rhea whispered out letting out a sigh of relief trying to calm herself again. ”You almost scared the spirit right out of me. I am sorry for scaring you. I had no idea you would react such a way. I am not even sure if you can even understand me right now.” Her eyes watched the other woman curiously, she was still looking away and staring at the floor. It would be no help for either of them if she shied away now. Slowly, she tilted her head to the side to shift her face more where she could look at Eden.

”Eden, right? Are you okay? Give me a nod if you are, okay?” She just hoped this time she could connect with the woman a little better. She had retracted the claws and seemed very apologetic for everything that happened but all that Rhea really cared about was the other’s safety. She just wanted to know that Eden was okay now. She hardly even remembered that they were both sitting there nude.

"This is fate, biting you back in the ass," echoed around her. "This is your punishment for defying me. For killing me!" She wanted to scream for help, but her mouth felt full. Nothing could come out. It was as if something had taken what little of a voice she had away. But then…. she felt something getting pushed into her. Sometime was being sent down her throat before pulses were sent through her chest. It shook up what was inside her, pushing it back up her throat before soon finding it back at her mouth.

"Blach," suddenly erupted from Eden's mouth as a rush of water flooded out and up from her lips like a small geyser before rolling herself over towards Rhea. Every cough that followed came with more mouthfuls of water being forced out of her lips before finding herself panting for air, as if it was a rare delicacy. Her hands moved on front of her: One between her breasts as if she was holding her heart steady while the other clinged to the metal collar, trying to pull it away from the front of her throat to let air in while more of the shock from her owner's voice.

It… It was only a dream. There was no way her old owner had any more control on her life. She… she was free…. Right?

it was only when she stopped gasping for air and her breathing calm down did she see the pair of legs in front of her, her head and eyes following them back up to Rhea's face.  Did… did she save her? Well, she was the only one there, so she must have been. What other possibility could there have been? That meant she acted wrongly when the water moved off the surface. Oh did she ever feel like a fool. Her claws shifted back to nails as she looked back downwards, more to the earth and away. Her instinct took over and placed her in danger, when there was no threat to begin with… and in doing so, it nearly costed her won life.

She felt like such a fool…

There was that fearful moment above water that all the thoughts seemed to flood into one. Rhea held the unconscious in her arms and not even with a soft shake did the woman react to her. She took no time at that moment to pull the woman to the shore once again. It was a slightly easy thing once she got the woman comfortably in her arm. She could only silent praise the water for making the girl more weightless than she would be on land. She knew the pain on carrying her would happen then. She was not a strong as she once had been when she was immortal. In a way, it caused her to lose some of the muscle she had once had before that time. She had trained some while she was gone to test her limits, but this was it all coming to action at once. In short, she was not prepared at all.

She used one hand to swim to shore as quickly as she could. The water around her shifted as she moved, her powers going crazy as she tried to use physical water to push her forwards. It was still difficult to get from one side to the other but it was enough to leave her on the shore of the lake, slightly out of breath. She let out a gasp as she tried to calm her breathing back to a normal rate. She could not help Eden if she was hyperventilating slightly herself. Once her feet could easily stand on the ground and Eden head could be above water, she shifted her into both her arms to carry her lifeless body to the shore.

Rhea could only wonder what people would say if they happened to see the two of them at this moment. She could barely imagine what they could say, but in the end, it was just her mind trying to calm itself by thinking about anything but the situation. Laying Eden down on the sandy dirt, she took a deep breath then pushed her lips against her trying to push her own air into the woman’s mouth. She was sad to find with the first breath that it was not useful that way. She could feel the air escaping out her noise and not exactly working how she wanted.

She quickly tried once more this time pressing two fingers on her nose and pushing her head back a little before blowing. There was a moment of angry as it at first seemed to do nothing as she pushed down on the woman’s chest in hopes to push the water out of her. The only other things she could do at this moment was use try to weave the water out of her, which was far from easy or safe.

It did not take too long for Eden's feet to reach the bottom, but at that point, she wasted away her energy to try and kick herself back up. In mere moments, her stamina was sapped, which felt so strange, considering her fighting experience. Maybe it was more because of the water itself. It felt so thick trying to move around, that she ate up a lot more of her energy to move within it. Add in the kicking and struggling… it was no wonder she found herself within that predicament.

As her vision slowly faded, bubbles of air falling from her mouth, she felt something curl around her waist, and while her claws still threatened with a dangerous sharpness, there was no effort to fight whatever grasped her. She was tired as it was, and moving in the water was too sluggish to even be a threat. She simply accepted fate as it was before things went dark…

"You thought you could get away with it…" she could hear within the midst of her own darkness. "You thought you could get away with killing me? Taking my blood for your freedom? Never forget that you are mine, even if it is here in the pits of hell!"

It was easy to say that this was not the reaction that she had been expecting. The whole show went on without a hitch, but the ending fell rather flat. Her eyes shifted back to her companion with a cheerful grin on her lips, however, was terrified to find that Eden slowly sinking into the water. There was a moment of confusion, as her eyes watched the struggling creature before she sprang into action. Why was the woman in the lake if she could not swim? It seemed like a really foolish thing to do if you could not swim. She could not help but wonder if her magic had been the cause of this predicament, but she let all thoughts disappear into the back of her mind. She would save Eden first and think more about everything later.

The siren quickly ducked under the water. The water was not too deep to cause her any issue and her hair still rested on the top of the water when her feet touched the bottom of the lake. It had just been deep enough that someone who did not know how to swim was stuck with a very difficult situation. Rhea was not about to try and communicate to the other woman. She could see the sharp claws draw on the woman’s fingers but that did not stop her from grabbing her about the waist. She could try to tear her limb from limb but she would not stop Rhea from getting her back to the surface quickly. She fairly doubted that she could hold her breath as long as Rhea could.

She quickly rushed to the surface, pushing the woman’s head above the water. There was a loud gasp for air as Rhea realized that she almost forgot to breathe herself. She could have switched to breathing underwater if it had been necessary, however, things were alright for now. She was above the water with a slightly deadly beast. Her eyes darted around the area to find that they were now resting deeper in the lake. Eden must have pushed herself further into the lake with her struggling to stay above the water.

”Are you awake?” Rhea spoke out her eyes looking at the woman in her arms. She was unsure what she would need to do next. The woman would both start coughing now and be slightly alright or Rhea would be pulling the dead weight to the beach as quickly as possible. She had not thought about pressing her lips on the stranger’s just yet but that may actually be in their future.

Eden's eyes watched Rhea close her eyes before lightly muttering to herself. Did it not work? Would… would it have been better if she kept the carvings on the collar itself? Her hands moved over to the warped area of the metal band as she thought about her request. She always had her weapon on hand… and yet, right now she didn't… and it made sharing that name harder. She couldn't simply show the carvings if her weapon was no where near them, and bringing it to the water would have been a terrible idea, even with her strength. Was… was it bad that she removed it from here?

She had little time to consider her thoughts anymore as Rhea's eyes opened once more, her hazel complexion taken over by an enchanting green light before the water between them stirred and lifted off of the surface. She had no mind to even pay attention to was was being formed. Her survival instincts once again awoken, leaping back to add distance as her nails sharpened into claws. She made to make sure she was ready fro any–

"Au–blr" Her gasp was quickly filled with water as the step back once again sent her deeper into the pool of water, arms flailing, as her feet kicked around, trying to find the bottom once again, but it seemed useless. The more she kicked, the more it seemed like the floor went away, as well as the image of Rhea pulled back before the struggle turned into exhaustion and everything around her fell into a blue hue… her body slowly sinking downwards…

There was a disconnection that slowly was becoming more and more obvious the longer Rhea tried to communicate with the silent strange. The strange had yet to speak a single word to her and the clear reaction to her recent words began to make clearer for her. She had the suspicion that her new companion could not or would not speak. She was not about to put a claim on why the other would not speak because the answer could be either very simple or very convoluted. Her mother had once spoken about when she was young. Her mother had been cursed by a God and could no longer use her voice to communicate or fight. She had to learn how useful her voice really was, but how important everything else was as well. Her mother was always a very silent individual so Rhea could barely understand why someone would want to make her mute. She could only assume there was still a lot to her mother that she just did not understand, but it taught her never to assume things of others. It was far more fun to let them show her who they really were deep inside. She wanted to know what made everyone tick.

The stranger began to take motions to try to answer Rhea. Her eyes drifted to the shore and back at her a couple times before a plan began to take shape. Rhea enjoyed watching the thoughts pass through her eyes. There was little tells that everyone had to show what they were thinking in the feature of their face. It told more than any words ever could. Rhea was beginning to suspect that her companion did not completely understand a lot that was being said to her but was being faced with the issue that she did seem to understand the idea of a name. She did a lot of pointing before giving up on that idea. Rhea was doing her best to hold back any laughter that was attempting to escape the woman’s display. She enjoyed the effort that was being taken to answer her back.

The next plan was a little easier for Rhea to follow. The stranger began to trace against the surface of the water with her fingers, writing out one letter at a time. Rhea could not help but softly smile because she knew that the woman was probably hoping she could make out what she was writing. Little did she know that she selected the perfect way to communicate with the siren. When the woman finished the last letter, Rhea closed her eyes softly muttering out something under her breath. When her eyes opened again, hazel iris were magically replaced with bright green and the water that she had just written upon took life around them. Before them the letters took shape out of water in the air, Rhea looked at the word curiously before finally looking at the stranger once again.

”Eden? So, your name is Eden? Beautiful name.” Rhea’s lips curled excitedly as she reached her hand up and ran it through the letters. The color of her irises faded away until they were back to the normal rich hazel and the water fell back into the lake below. She was probably showing off a little bit but she had always been more of a visual learner. There was a mysteriousness to Eden that Rhea was loving completely. The more they did not talk, the more she wanted to know about her.

“I am assuming you do not speak? Is that willing or unwilling, I wonder?” Her head tilted a little as she watched Eden. Only time would help her understand how she was going to communicate with her new companion. She would crack the case some way.

Outside the sound of the roaring falls, the region was quite somber and peaceful, holding back the threatful nature just a few more feet into the wilderness. As her head seeped deeper into the water backwards, the sounds of even the falls began to mull down, turning into a dull murr. There, she simply laid on the surface of the water, floating on as she look in the warm sunlight. This smooth feeling… How different would she had been if she was able to enjoy this feeling every day and not just when she had to prioritize her life?

As she laid there, though, her ears were able to pick up the sound of the water shifting and coming closer, though at no real rush. With her eyes opening up from her relaxed trance, she turned her head and eyes just enough to see the other from before making a careful move forward. Was she being careful because of Eden's defensive nature? Whatever it was, it seemed her curiousness had more power over her caution, seeing she did make her move closer. It was like the Rizka: this girl was curious about her as well.

Readjusting herself back to float upwards, she found her drifting had led her a bit deeper, causing her to hop a bit on her toes to stay upright as she struggled to move forward. With the distraction of staying afloat and the water in her ear fluffs (which began flicking, as if to naturally clear them up), nearly all the words the other tried to speak escaped her. it was only about when she was closer to her to get proper footing did she even have the attention to hear the last few words: "name is Rhea."

"Name." That was one word Rikza made sure she understood it. It was one used to create identity. Pointing to her underneath the water, she tried to make the connection to the sound she made to her person, before pointing at herself, though pausing for a moment before glancing back at her weapon.

It was there that her name was marked. Marked differently than the way it used to have been on her collar, the region now a bit melted and re-solidified to remove the Orcish etchings and ownership symbol, the warping of the area near the couple chain links that dangled at her neck. For a moment, she simply stared away at the weapon before turning over back to Rhea and lifting her hand out of the water, though touching it's surface.

From there, she drew on the surface a line towards her before making it take a sharp right, lifting her hand to about the middle and making another right line, and a third on the top. After that, she went back and made another line towards her, but then moved back to the top with a curved line on the right side. Then, another set of the three right lines with that downward line,  before doing that toward lines again, though this time making a diagonal line from the top to the right towards, and a final towards line to that diagonal's end… at least that was what she attempted. If things went well, she should have mimicked the name that was carved upon her blade that reflected her name…

The stranger acted in a way that was unusual for Rhea. The silence only caused her curiosity to grow but she found her eyes watched the woman's each step. She found it almost refreshing to see someone who did not seem the least bit phased by the fact that they were actually not alone. Most people would have gone with the normal set of emotions from blushing to curses. Se had some people blame her for being there at the wrong time and place. The more time that she was out in the world watching the stranger around her, the more interesting behaviors she began to know. Maybe she had missed too much spending most her time stuck away in her mother's or aunt's temples. She never did have the childhood that other mortal kids had.

It did not take long for Rhea to follow suit, removing the rest of her clothing. She pants were already soaked at the tips and the water had been slowly creeping up the fabric. She wrung them out and laid them to try with the rest of her forgotten garments. There was no hint of hesitation or embarrassment with her own undressing, but it also did not take her long to return to the water. Her main focus, with the woman here or not, was to enjoy the water. It was her own personal energy charger. The siren was connected to water in a way some probably were not. She was a creature of the sea and could not help but be drawn to bodies of water. They made her feel comfortable and at home. The only thing that came close to that feeling was when she was singing. Sadly, it was harder for her to enjoy her own singing when it normally had a different effect on others. Her mother had taught her ways to control the power behind her voice, but there was no way to completely remove the enchanted quality of it.

Hazel eyes drifted over to look at the stranger. A single word had yet to be uttered between them. It only helped to make her more curious about what this woman was all about. Why did she not respond back? Was it on purpose or could she physically not answer back? She had knowledge of some that did not speak out loud and only in your head. She had met a few that did that very thing and she always found it rather strange. There were people in this world that choice to take a vow of silence but used their magic to go around it. Was this woman the same or different?

She swam a little closer to the woman but kept a safe distance. She could feel the tension between them enough to know that there could easily be a chance that she would attack. At first glance, most thought that Rhea was nothing but another human in this world. It was as if they sometimes forgot that just because they did not have point eyes, scales, or fangs it meant that they probably weren't special. The two types of blood that were combined to make her, made her appear no different than any other human unless something triggered her emotions.

"I have not met someone that did not mind to be in the eyes of others. You are rather refreshing to meet." The words came out with a soft purr and the smile on her lips grew as she watched the woman curiously. "If it eases any distrust, my name is Rhea." Maybe it was a good time to exchange names when they both happen to be bare to the world. Her curious nature wanted to ask about the strange collar that remained clasped around her neck but she would remain silent about it for now.

Even without her weapon in hand, hse could feel the itch to be ready for whatever action, her fingers ready to pull out her claw-like nails and tear into the stranger if needed be. However, she did not make any real defensive motion. It was that same feeling she got from Rizka: one without any form of malice.  There was something small she got from the other, but nothing that actually felt threatening. However, within the short moment, she found herself shaking her head, as if to move aside the thought of danger. These waters relaxed savage beasts, and she knew the feeling of malicious intent. She had to remind herself that if she did not feel threatened, she should relax. Take the time and simply enjoy herself.

Besides, if she ever did get malicious, she could still defend herself.

With a deep breath to calm herself more than anything, Eden turned back around, undoing the last few buttons from the garment before letting it fall off her shoulders and next to her weapon, soon to be followed by her underwear. All that had remained on her was the large metal collar that rested itself around her neck and the scars of combat that laid on top of her skin.

Laying herself bare in front of the other, without any real sense of shyness (or a need to be shy), Eden paced herself over to the water, stepping down into its depths slowly, the water slowly taking out her braid the further she went in and her tail seemingly wanting to stay away for as long as it could before it had no choice but to submerge, Eden finding a simple midpoint to stop before slowing dipping herself under to her neckline, her head falling back a bit before her knees broke the water's surface as she floating in the small pool.

The tranquil silence was interrupted. It was not suddenly or loudly, but the distant clang was enough to make her attentive ears tingle. Eyes drifted towards the sound as it became louder and clearer. A woman appeared across the way close enough for Rhea to turn her head in interest. It was almost instantly obvious that this strange had no idea the other was there as she began to strip the clothing from her skin. The view was enough to make the siren's lips curl into a curious smirk. She never turned her gaze or even blushed at the sudden encounter. Another woman's flesh, or even a man's at that, would cause her any fret. She had seen a lot in her time on this earth, while she was still a toddler in her race's eyes. She let her body shift to stand tall and turn to face the stranger more clearly.

There was a moment of sadness that hit the siren's heart when the strange finally began to turn towards the lake and took notice that she was actually not alone. There were still a few buttons left untouched as she stood there staring. Rhea stared back in response with eyes that read almost no emotion but her mind was shifting between what would be the more polite response to the situation. Sadly, she did not end up choosing the correct one as her grin became larger and a soft laughter began to echo from her lips.

"Do not fret on my account. There enough water for us both to share, but I am sorry to say I may be a little more dressed than thee." There was an obvious teasing tone in her voice but she smiled almost in a purely sincere way. She could not help but tease. It was not in her blood to be as grounded as her mouth. She had always been too much like her father. It was something her family loved to remind her, however where was the fun in being so polite and grounded that you had so little fun?

" I can turn if you wish? Her head tilted towards the other woman, curls of dark chocolate dancing around her with the quick motion.

It had almost become more of a routine for Eden to come visit this area ever since her meet with Rizka. Well, as long as her and her brother were still in the area that was. Still, it was not like she was on leash to stay with them, and often let her head out on her own to explore the area. After all, with her massive weapon in tow, she was perfectly fine fending off whatever beasts that tried to threaten her. The size alone also meant she never had to really worry about real care for the weapon: just hit stuff, and most of the time watch them break.

However, the near beginning of the evening had always been a good time for her to come over to these falls. While they roared loud, it was a peaceful spot. It helped her relax. In fact, it almost felt like a safe haven. There had even been an incident where she visited when a lioness was there, but casually let her be, despite her defensive reaction. It was as if the area around it simply had a signal against raising arms against anything and everything.

Pushing herself through the trees, she kept her ears and nose open, using her animal senses to follow the trail down through the thickness, the occasional clang of the collar against blade and the constant rattle of the couple chain links from the same collar. It did not take long for her to make her final push through into the more open region where the sun reflected on the falling water.

Not even paying attention to the surrounding area, Eden had already slammed her weapon down onto the earth, the flat end of the tip being able to have it stand upright without even needing to puncture the earth before she began to undo her kimono top, resting it upon the handle like a stand for it. it was not before she started to button down the undergarment did she turn around to see she was not alone, causing the tigerkin to pause…

Laeto Rainforest was well known to be quite the dangerous place. The forest thrived on that word of mouth because of its poisonous plants and wild beasts. Sadly, it was far from rumors. Each step could be a death trap if you did not understand what could be around the corner and it did not matter how knowledgeable you were ok the area. Rhea had traveled through the area many times to reach one of the favorite places to hide. Not many would have tried to find her past the deadly rainforest, so it became the perfect oasis when she had first been struck with immortality. This forest was probably one of the few times that someone could see the siren outside of her normal attire, which consisted of thin fabric and a lack of shoes.

The forest caused it hard to navigate but she owned the perfect little trick. Her hand held out before her a beautiful lantern crafted from the darkest wood. The light that flickered from it shined in an unnatural way. Instead of in a round circle around the frame, it shined in a single direction directing her towards what her heart currently desired most. The small grin on her lips never faltered as she took each collected steps through the forest until the worst began to disappear and the low creaking of the forest was lost behind the rush of water.

The forest seemed to become completely different when it reached the beautiful waterfalls. Whether it was because of the Goddess’s touch or the waterfall itself, there was a strange tranquility that filled the air. It was so peaceful that even the beasts came to drink from the river’s edge but did not attack upon sight. The sight of the water brought a smile, almost childlike, to her lips and the woman was quick to pull the boots from her feet to run to the clear liquid. She rushed into the shallow part of the water forgetting to pull up the bottom of her pants letting the water soak into the dark fabric. Her cloak that had once covered her body laid forgotten in the mossy dirt and nothing but a full corset covered her torso from view.

Rhea’s hazel eyes stared lost into the water below and her fingers reached out to trace the surface of the water, watching little fish trying to nibble at the tips. It brought a peace to her being here again but also aloneness. She had disappeared from the eyes of man for so long, but part of her still missed what she once had. It was not the power or immortality she missed, but being able to watch over and help anyone she saw. She still was unsure how she could continue to help the ones around her but she would find a way. She was not raised to give up so easily.
