INTRO


Born to his father Lieutenant Jericho Agate and to an unknown mother, and raised on the sea, Obadiah Agate never got off his fathers ship, and gained an unnatural obsession with the land and its people. Upon docking for supplies one day, while Obe was still at the young age of 15, he snuck off the ship, unnoticed by his father or the crew. Amidst the shops, he found his way into the booth of a fortune teller. Among many mystical and inexplicable treasures, young Obe found a geode of such beauty he couldn't help taking it. And take it he did, but not unnoticed by the old hag of a fortune teller. Not one for compassion, she placed a curse on the lad, turning him into a horrifying creature made of rock and gem. In shock Obe ran back to his father, hoping his position as a naval officer would help him in forcing the sorceress to return him to his original state. But unfortunately for Obadiah, his father no longer recognised him, and had the "Monster" arrested and imprisoned. Obadiah grew resentful towards not only the people that wronged him, but the land they lived on, and upon breaking free from his cell, stole a ship for his own use, and left for sea, forcing the crew onboard to work as his band of misfit pirates. Years passed, and one day while fleeing from naval officers trying to retrieve his stolen booty, Obe made a brash choice. He sailed into forbidden territory, the Bermuda Triangle. Legends told that the place was mystical and magical, but Obe didn't care. That is not until he blacked out, only to awaken later in the land of Revaliir…
