She took a sip of her tea and smiled. "This is quite good." She said and fell into silence for a while. After a few more sips she set her cup down softly and said, "Look, I want to apologise for my behavior last night. I was a bit out of line and really am sorry if I made things uncomfortable for you. I don't normally act that way." Her cheeks reddened slightly at the thought of her having kissed him. 

A while later the food arrived and she gave her thanks to the kenku. The food was amazing and her thoughts showed on her face as she looked to be in a blissful state with every mouth full.  When she had finished she smiled at Douken. "My treat." She said and pulled out some money. Once the bill was paid they exited the building. "I really should get going. I'm sorry to cut our little adventure a bit short but there are some things I need to do. It's really been a pleasure getting to know you Douken. Perhaps we'll meet again some day." She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek then teleported away.

It seemed that medicine was full of caffeine, considering how much she perked up from it, as she was quick to leave to see what was in the city (so much so that she nearly forgot to lock up her room). Still, her eagerness and joy was radiating from her, as if the shyness from what happened the previous night was washed away in her sleep. The window shopping was simple, yet exciting, as they explored the new culture before them. However, once one of their stomachs rumbled, the other answered back with its own, telling the two to seek out a meal.

Her entry was certainly… dynamic, as it drew in the attention of the others inside as if something crazy happened… though once they say the tourists, they went back business as it was. However, it did not take long for a server to greet them (a male kenku) guided them over. "I will be but a moment. May I get some drinks in the meantime?" he asked. Lily got herself set up with a hot sweet tea, while Douken took the more opposite route with iced and unsweetened. "Very well," he said, giving them a quick bow before heading off to let them decide. By the time he came back with them, they were ready to order…

Or at least Lily was willing to get what he was after.

"How about… two omurice, please," Douken replied, the kenku giving another quick bow, taking their order and menus before heading off to relay the information.

"Morning."She replied and rubbed at her temples. Her head hurt and she wasn't quite sure why. She suspected it had to do with the alcohol though. She nodded as he left and waited patiently for his knock. She opened the door and accepted the medicine bag. "Ah, my head hurts a bit. It's called a hangover then? I take it that it's from the alcohol." She opened the bag and sniffed the contents. She murmered something and prepared the medicine. It didn't take long for the medicine to take effect. "Thank you. You're very kind." She said quietly. She then burst into a smile and said, "Time for breakfast and exploring though!" She grabbed him by the hand and ran out of the room pulling him along, pausing only to shut and lock her door.  "Let's go let's go." She said excitedly and continued pulling him until they got to the street. "Hmmm, what's over here?" She asked then ran off to the left, not letting go of his hand. After looking in the Windows of a few shops she found a place selling food. "Ooh. How about here? What's this place?" She asked and burst inside. Several people looked up from their food. It looked pretty good so when a server came to seat them she followed. She sat at the table and it was o my then that she let go of his hand. She was given a menu and after looking for a moment said, "Oh I've never had any of these things before. What do you recommend?" She looked to Douken for guidance.

Her rustling did bring Douken to a bit of a murmur, but it was not until she stripped down her night down for her actual dress did he yawn, calling it a good time to push himself out of bed. Rubbing his eyes, he watched Lily cover herself in an eye-drawing flowing dress before picking up his key. There, she admired it for a bit before setting it on the counter, not even registering to her that he was awake… At least not until she turned her attention to him. "Morning, sleeping beauty," he chuckled before standing up in his boxers, taking key in hand before working the runes just like last night. "I think i will enter your room the normal way," he commented as he melded the key into the wall. "Be sure to answer when I knock, okay?" before pushing it open and walking through, this time closing it behind him. Once the wall became solid again, the key seemed to have fully melted into the wall.

It took Douken a moment to get dressed and fetch what he wanted before leaving his room normally and knocking on his neighbor's door, Lily quick to open it up. "HOw's your head?" he asked as he walked inside before handing over the medicine back. "That should help with the hang over."

The light filtering through the window as the sun rose woke her. She had slept so peacefully. No strange dreams, no darkness and conflict, only peace and joy. She was so comfortable she didn't know if she even felt like getting up. She nuzzled her cheek against Douken's chest, forgetting that it was him and thinking he was a pillow for a moment. But the rhythmic breathing and calm beat of his heart made last night's events crash back into her mind. She remembered kissing him… oh god what had she done? Kissing a stranger? Then she had pulled him into bed with her. Her memory was quite hazy here but it was the most important part, had they…done anything…. She let out a small sigh of relief as her memory cleared enough for her to realize nothing had happened. She lifted her head from his chest and looked around sleepily. One of her legs had been draped over his and she withdrew it. She sat up carefully, hoping not to disturb him too much. Her throat was parched and there was a dull ache in her head. Without even really thinking about it she conjured up a pitcher of water and a few glasses on her bedside table. She slid out of bed and got a glass of water, drinking it greedily. Her head was still a bit hazy and seemed to go onto auto pilot as she rummaged quietly through her bag and withdrew a dress of teal and gold. She got dressed on auto pilot, not even thinking about the fact that there was someone else in the room with her. She packed away her nightgown then brushed through her hair. As she did so she saw the key on the floor. For a while it didn't register in her mind what it was. When she finally realized she walked over and picked it up. She turned it over in her hand a few times, admiring it before she placed it o  the side table next to the water. She grabbed another glass before turned her hazy brain's attention towards Douken once again to see if he was awake or not.

His eyes widened when she fell backwards, keeping her grip on him to pull him in and on top of her. His face was now as red as hers as his instinct was to roll off and get out. However, the quick kiss she sneaked in along with her arms wrapping around… He could not easily move away from that. His only real answer to it was an accepting sigh before replying back, "Good night," petting her head lightly as she nuzzled near his chest before wrapping her his arm around her back, holding her  close as the two slept.

The night was a quiet one for sure, though the breathing of the other so close was a new addition he ever really had. Sure, it was broken a bit by the sound of the wall working to reshape itself by closing on its own, the key that made it slipping out on their side as it seemed magnetized to its user's energy. However, it was not enough for it to wake the two until daybreak…

He had held her hand to guide her to the inn but this time, as he grabbed her arm to stop her from leaving she felt uneasy. She was used to knowing what she was feeling but he confused her to the point where she didn't know, and that made her uneasy. He was about to suggest she slept there, and in her mind she thought she would probably have to knock the wall down in order to prevent that, but then there would be questions by the inn keeper and she'd have to pay for repairs. He seemed to think of something as he started going through his bag. She took that moment to take in her surroundings better, or well, him. He wasn't wearing much, though she had seen him with less. She watched him work and as he used his magic she let out a soft sigh. His magic felt comforting. The aura it was giving off was a pleasant one. 

She was a bit surprised to suddenly see a door open between their rooms. Her mind was hazy, and so tired from the day. He offered his hand to lead her to her room. She accepted his hand and let him lead her to her bed. She could feel the residual effects of his magic in his hand, and just as it had felt before, it was comforting. There was something soothing about it. She sat down on the bed, not letting go of his hand. She knew he was going to leave now, and take this comfort with him, she couldn't allow that. Her heart pounded with anticipation as she pulled him towards her and planted a light kiss on his lips before pulling him with a strength unnatural for her size so that he rolled over her and onto her bed. She then curled up next to him with her head on his chest and yawned before saying, "good night." She wrapped an arm over him and listened to his heart beat as she fell asleep.

"Sure. IN fact, I am resting there myself, so its two birds with one stone," he commented, offering her a hand to help guide her to where they needed to go. After all, she was still a light weight in drinks, and she had a lot in her system now. At the very least he could enjoy a peaceful stroll with her over to the hotel. It was not until the pair found themselves in the lobby did he let go, telling her, "Now be sure to get some sleep…" before making a quick detour to purchase some meds. She will definitely need them in the morning. Luckily, a chemist was working there as well, and sold him exactly what he needed.

Once the purchase was done, he headed back up the stairs, quick to see Lily in the hallway turning to face him before heading into her room. He was short to follow, though shy one door. It seemed she rented a room right next to his. "The world is a small one, after all," he told himself before opening his and heading inside. The hour was late and he was feeling pretty drained from it all. The hot spring was great to relax in, but the last moment was still quite a moment to be had. Still, he sighed it off, figure the best move would be to sleep it off, and thus worked himself out of his gear. resting the leather works next to his spear.

He was in his boxers when the space around him began to warp as a new entity forced its way through. Turning around, he blinked at the sight: Lily. In hear revealing sleepwear. NOt at all phased by what happened. Was the alcohol too much now, or was she too tired to think otherwise? Maybe both… She tried to jump again, but to no avail, and when she thought to head for the door, Douken was quick to respond, "I think not…" taking her arm and moving her towards his bed. "If you walked out there like that, others may think of you like a prostitute. At this rate you would have to slee–" He was interrupted with the flash of what happened earlier, causing him to shake the idea awake. Then it hit him.

"If your room is next to mine…" Thinking for a bit, he headed for his bad, digging around before pulling out an old, dusty tomb. "Let's see… I think I want this…" Flipping through the pages, his eyes skimmed the contents, looking for what he desired before stopping, examining the four runes on the pages. Scanning it over, he headed to the wall that neighbored hers before sparking mana into his fingertips, creating a jade green glow, before touching the wall itself. It resonated with it, mana sparking between the two like a welding torch as he moved his hand about, crafting a symbol before drawing a line down and working on another. Then another to the left of that, and a forth above that, connecting the last with the first. When he stopped its flow from his fingers, the wall pulsed, signifying it worked. "Alright."

Reaching to the back of his neck, he undid the link that held it together before taking the key in hand. Charging it with mana, the small relic reacted, overlaying itself with numberous runes of its own, extending even outwards of the metal. With it resonating, he brought the key to his drawing before bringing the key in close, the item melting into the wall before turning it and pulling. It was a tough pull, but enough for it to budge and pull open as if there had been a door between their two rooms.

"There we go," he told himself before heading to Lily and offering her a hand. "Now then, let's get you back into your bed."

The buzz from the alcohol had left her the moment things had gotten so embarrassing, but the moment she made eye contact with Douken again at the entrance he averted her gaze and her cheeks became red again. She nodded and said, "I agree. I wouldn't mind exploring the town with you in the morning." She took a few steps outside, looked one way then the other. She was completely lost bit now that he was around her again, she was hesitant to ask for directions for some reason. Sighing in defeat as she didn't recognise anything around them she turned her attention to Douken once more. She then asked a bit shyly, "You wouldn't happen to know where the Dancing Dragon Inn is by any chance would you?" 

After a walk to the Inn she smiled and said, "thank you.  I appreciate it." She entered the inn and walked up to her room. Once at her door she turned to see Douken still there. She looked at him questioningly before unlocking her door and entering. She quietly closed the door and locked it. She let out a sigh and closed her eyes as she leaned against the door. Today was an insane day, so much happened. It was like the gods were throwing them at eachother and she was so tired. She recalled the bottle of sake that had not been finished. She didn't know where she had left it but at the moment she could really use a drink. She summoned the bottle and it appeared before her. She disnt bother with a cup but drank straight from the bottle. Relishing the burn that scorched down her throat as she took large mouthfulls. It wasn't long before she was tipsy beyond belief. She took off her dress with clumsy fingers and grabbed her night dress from her bag. A white comfortable dress that was a bit on the thon side, perfect for sleeping. After getting dressed she grabbed the sake bottle and took another drink. She wondered what Douken was doing at that moment
 Was he already asleep or were his thoughts as consumed by the days events as hers were. She was drunk to the point where she didn't even notice her magic activate without her meaning to. She had been standing there with sake bottle in hand when zap, she blinked as her surroundings seemed different, yet familiar. They were almost identical to her room's things. She stumbled a bit as she looked around. Her eyes widened as she saw Douken. "Wha… how did I get here?" She asked, unable to believe that once again they seemed to have been brought together.  "The gods sure have a bad sense of humor. Muat have accidently teleported. Sorry." She said slurring her words slightly. She set the sake bottle down on a side table and tried activating her magic to teleport back to her own room. All she got for a response was a sharp zap of electricity. "Ow." She said and put her hurt finger in her mouth. "Can't make it work. My door is locked. Think they have a spare key down at the desk?" She seemed almost oblivious to the fact that her thin nightgown left little to the imagination as it cling nicely to her every curve.

It was nice to get up and stretch those legs and the company was pretty enjoyable as well. Not only that, but the walk also allowed Lily to return the mole back into the wild to hopefully find her way back to her family. It was a simple peace the two had.

which always meant calamity had to soon follow afterwards.

With the two distracted from returning the mole home, the girls from before sneaked up on the pair, eager to steal away what little they had covering themselves before Lily was shoved towards him, the slippery surface making it easy for the two to fall over. However, the watchful nymphs were quick to act, manipulating the water below to help comfort the short fall while Lily's groin region was covered, to prevent any accidental incident. from occurring. Whatever kind of water they used was working, as even though she sat on him bare, he could not feel her down there at all. Still, the view each other had definitely made the two go red, Douken unable to do anything as she fought to get off.  Unfortunately, that only made her fall in closer, able to feel her chest against his and smell the liquor in her breath. All the while, in the back, the workers were more concerned with catching the pranksters into their grasps, whispering their songs before placing them asleep, taking them away after they had fallen.

Once the mess was taken care of and the pair had separated, the water had settled back to the floor, each one handed new towels before advising to finish up their business. Maybe a rude way to put it, but they were in their long enough. Lily did not turn to look at him, but did, at least, suggest that she would wait for him outside. "Got it," he told her before thanking the nymphs on duty and heading back to his side, drying off and changing back into his clothes before returning back into the main lobby, where he watched Lily pay off her tab from the bar.

"I don't know about you," he said when she finished up, "but all that steam does make me feel tired. Why don't we call it a night here and explore more of the town in the morning?"

She shrugged and stood up, stepping out of the water to follow Douken. "A walk would be nice." She walked with him around the area, the steam was still pretty thick even when not in the water. She was silent for a while before the mole on her shoulder made some almost chirping noises. She nodded and said, "Oh, alright, I completely understand." She picked up the mole and gave her a little kiss on the head before walking over to the genre and setting her down next to it. "Stay safe." She said as she straightened up and walked back to Douken.  She glanced at him and said, "She has to get back to her children." The silence that fell wasn't around for long. From behind them two of the ladies from earlier suddenly appeared. One of them wrapped her arms around Lily and whispered in her ear, "Surprise beautiful." Before she can say anything back the woman rips the towel off of Lily, the second woman dping similar to Douken's towel. Then Lily could feel magic in the air as she suddenly was thrust at Douken and falling to the ground with her on top of him. As they fell she could feel more, stronger magic in the air and a water barrier slid between their …parts… as she fell on top of him. She sat up and for a moment was dazed. She was straddling him with her hands on his chest as she looked around not knowing what was going on. She finally seemed to notice him neither her and that they were both naked. She covered herself with her hands and tried to get up quickly only to slip on some water from the nymphs magic and fall right back onto him. Seeing as her hands were covering herself when she fell again she was face to face with him, their lips almost touching, but not quite. Her eyes went wider and her face looked like a tomato it was so red. For a moment she was frozen in place but quickly snapped out of it. "S-s-sorry!" She managed to squeak as she finally just rolled off of him and got up. A nymph had appeared and was handing her a towel. She quickly took it and wrapped it around herself. The three women were nowhere to be seen, they had been kicked out. The nymph explained the situation and suggested that they may want to leave for the night because of all the commotion they had created. She nodded, not saying anything and she didn't look at Douken just in case he wasn't decent. She said, "I'll um, be out front." She quickly flitted off to the woman's changing room. Once inside she leaned against the wall and took a deep breath. Everything was so confusing and embarrassing right now. The alcohol wasn't helping at all either. She shook her head and quickly dried off and got back in her clothes, feeling much safer and secure with her pretty dress hugging her closely. She headed out to the front desk and gave the lady a smile before settling her tab at the bar. She then bit her lip lightly as she waited for Douken, wondering if he still wanted to spend time with her or had he had enough? She herself wasn't quite sure how she felt about everything but he seemed like a nice guy…. and in all honestly she had no idea how to get back to the inn so she would have to at least ask him to help her find it.

While he did see a bit more show up in his peripheral vision, his eyes were still looking up at Lily's face when her towel went fully undone, and quick enough to fixed it before he could really have time to, in her eyes it seemed, stare at what showed up. It didn't stop her from giving him a smack to the back of the head, though and the accusations.

"You really thing I said nothing because I wanted to stare?" he asked, rubbing his head. "If I wanted to be a pervert, I could easy look anywhere else, or did you forget what kind of place this is?" He even pointed at a random direction to emphasize… It just so happened to point at the direction of the girls who cupped a feel earlier who all seemed to have abandoned their towels long ago. "Remember, they left it up to us if we want to be covered or displayed to the world. If another we chose to lounge here without our towels, nothing would have been done to stop us."

Taking another drink himself, he commented, "You can't exactly blame me for pushing your chest into my face, now can we?" With a small sigh, Douken suddenly pushed himself up to his feet, stretching his arms into the air before stretching out his waist. "That feels like enough sitting. Care to join me for a walk around the region, or should we call this spot done?"

She nodded and said, "Ah, so it's not technically a wrong way just a different way. So it's like a skill level type thing. I see now. Thank you for explaining, you're so smart. You are right though, I actually never drank before a few weeks ago." She let out a little laugh at her comment and took another small sip of her drink. Now that it was explained she could see the appeal of taking sips. She really could taste all the different flavors if she slowed down and really just savored every drink.

She set the mole down and looked at Douken, he seemed a bit out of it compared to how he had been moments before. She hadn't noticed her towel slipping down a bit, instead her focus was on Douken. "Hu? Are you ok?" His reddened face and how he practically chugged his drink seemed odd. She got a bit closer to him, not noticing her towel slip a little more. Just then some younger men ran out and jumped over then yelling as they splashed into the water right in front of this. Startled by their actions Lily let out a little yelp and clung to Douken.   She was pressed up against him as she looked at the two men acting like children as they splashed off deeper into the pool. She looked at Douken's face, it was still red and asked, "Do you have a fever or something?" She reached her hand out to feel his forehead. With her arm no longer against the towel it slipped off her chest completely and for a moment she froze, her face going redder than she ever thought possible. She quickly fixed her towel and looked almost annoyed as she returned to sitting normally once again. "So thats what it was. You noticed it falling and didn't say anything disnt you." She gave him a slap to the back of the head and continued, "you should have said something. Unless it was your plan all along to get a little peak….. pervert." The mole climbed up her back onto her shoulder and perched there, giving Douken the evil eye as Lily sipped her drink.

"Its not exactly the 'wrong way' to do it," Douken told her, taking a quick drink for himself, "Just not a way a beginner should start. Then again, you said you were asleep for a couple thousand years, so I guess enjoying such a beverage would be a bit of a rarity if at all…" However, the sudden appearance of the platypus drew his eyes towards him, before back at Lily, who seemed perfectly content with what happened. She even called it by name and gave it a few of the drinks she bought. Was she that familiar with the random platypus? He was not there when they met… Or was she so drunk that she thought he was familiar?

However, before he could even make a comment about it, there as a sudden bonk upon his head. "What the–" He was ready to reach up to grab whatever fell on his head, but it seemed Lily was quicker to respond… even if it meant getting up, crawling on top of him, her chest into his face as she worked to soothe the frightened critter, only to crawl off once it was calmed down. At that point, the explorer's face was a bit red not from the alcohol, but more of what Lily gave him… It seemed at that moment she was also sharing more cleavage, as the chest plant loosened her towel some…

"D-Delores… hi…" he said before taking a rushed drink himself, doing a bit more of a chug than before.

For a few moments she looked confused at his laughter and patting of her head. Things started to become clear as he explained though. She put her hand to the cheek that he had poked and nodded thoughtfully as he finished speaking. "Ah, I see. That's how you're supposed to do it. I've been imitating how I see others do it but apparently it was the wrong way. I do apologise deeply for my behavior." She said and then it seemed that out of no where a platypus popped up out of the water wearing a miniature top hat and monocle. It made some platypus noises and Lily nodded as her attention was completely taken by the animal. "I really appreciate it Jeeves. You really are one of a kind. Here, would you mind?" She said and places several of the drinks on the animal's back. He nodded his head and swam off into the steam with the drinks. She had two drinks remaining now and picked up one of them to take only a small sip. "This is the correct way, yes?" She asked as she then looked up with a surprised look. A moment later something landed on Douken's head. It started moving. Lily calmly set down her drink then jumped at him,  if he wasn't fast enough she'd probably give him a face full as she lunged to grab the creature on his head. There was a high pitched noise for a few moments as she grabbed the animal. She murmered some soft words to it and it seemed to calm down. A small ball of fuzz was in her hands now as she returned to sitting as she had been. She looked at the animal closely, it was a small mole. It had scratches on its sides. Without a word she quickly healed the small creature. "What happened little dear?" She asked. The animal made some quiet chattering noises and Lily looked up. "Ah, some big Bird got you? I see. I'm Lily and the one you landed on is Douken. What's your name?" More chattering and nodding from Lily "Well it's a pleasure to meet you." She looked at Douken and said, "This is Delores, Dolly for short. She says thank you for having a head for her to land on. She's also wondering if it's ok if she hangs out for a while, until she's sure the big bird is really gone."

Looking over, there was indeed a fight about to occur between a couple of over-intoxicated guests getting ready to brawl, but before anything could occur, a portion of the water started to flow from the spring itself before wrapping around both participants' arms and legs while two nymphs walked over, holding them close from behind, giving what looked to be a whisper before the two slumped over. With the men out, the water fell upon the floor once more as the two were dragged out. INdeed, these nymphs watching the scenes knew how to handle whatever situation that may occur.

Hearing Lily comment on how not-drunk he was made him blink before watching her grab nearly a half-dozen of them before coming back before handing him one of them. There was a brief pause from the simple shock of everything before laughing, giving her a pet of her own. "There are a few reasons I am not as red as you are. For one, you don't seem that tolerant to them," he told her, poking her red cheeks. "It takes time, but you need to let your body adapt to the intake. Secondly, I take my time with the drinks to enjoy what flavors they have to offer versus you, who seemed to have devoured multiple drinks in a short time span. I fear if I brought you to a tasting festival, you would be absolutely wasted. Third, I don't want to look like I have an addiction, unlike you and your multitude there… but most importantly, I would rather not be dragged back to my room like those rowdy men earlier." He topped off the last bit with a laugh before taking a slow drink of the flavored run he already had.

His explanation of the drink left her quite curious. "Ah I see. It is just different from the other ones I've tried. I accidentally tried something at that stupid pirate town, what did they call it? Ale? I didn't think very highly of it. Then that sake from earlier. That was good. This is good too!" She said counring rhe three off on her fingers. 

When he explained about the men she nodded, "hmm, interesting. I guess that's why men preceded robes or well something similar to a long skirt from now days. I guess they enjoyed the breeze." She laughed and continued to pet Douken's hair. "Hmm, I can see why we never embraced the practice of drinks like this. It leads to lower self awareness which would definitely make someone more likely to lose themselves to a sinful life. Like right now I want more, but that's just me being greedy." She pointed to a man who was talking angrily with other man. "Or him with his violence that has no true reason other than the amount he has drank. But knowing of the effects and actually experiencing them really make it come to light which will make things easier to reflect on in the long run wouldn't you say?"  

Her hand stopped petting his hair for a moment as she studied his expression, "You don't seem like you're feeling anything yet. It's no fun if I'm the only one." She got out of the water and walked over to the bar again. She got a few more drinks and brought them back over. She set them on the edge next to him then slipped back into the warmth. "You need more." She said with a nod as if stating some seriously important piece of information.

"I don't know," he said, sweating a bit nervously when she grabbed his chest to signify what she meant before curling back when called out from the same woman. "If I was to say anything, her persistence would probably be more her under influence or a simple attraction… Possibly both or one helping the other. Without the ability to read minds, it would be hard to say for sure."

While he did accept the glass with a "Thank you," he was more shocked to see her explode with shock from the drink itself. Sure, she said she was asleep for thousands of years, but did they not have such drinks back then? Apparently not, considering her excitement as she attacked it with no retaliation. And it seemed with it, she got more curious. The buzz from the sake not helping any. He took a drink himself too see, but could not see what she meant? "This is not exactly a wine… more of a rum dressed with blood orange juice. Certainly flavorful for an alcohol, but not one that can go unnoticed.

"As for the men going bare, I am sure you can tell what they are after by how they act. Those who are showing off can be thought as trying to impress, yes, but those who are not could more likely want to air out. After all, that does have to stay cramped up in a pair of pants all day," he chuckled before taking a drink again, though paused when he felt her hand pat his head as she commented on how pretty his hair was… "Uuh, thanks?" he replied, seeing how red she was getting. Was she not one who can really hold onto her liquor?

He seemed not to understand what she meant when she told him those women had touched her. From behind him she nodded and said, "Touching, like this." She proceeded to grab his chest from behind a few times. "See?" She finished and let her hand fall to her sides before she heard one of the ladies from before call out and she cling to his arm again. She didn't know if she liked this place. Those ladies were too handsy. He was right though, they came here to relax and she should. She let the tension out of her body and let him lead her to the water. She saw the bar and wondered what kind of drinks they served. She was hesitant but while Douken got into the water she quickly made her way to the bar and got two large drinks. She quickly made her way back to him and care fully got into the water. She sat next to him and held out one of the drinks for him. "This'll help me relax a bit, but I'm not drinking alone." She let the hot water seep into her skin as she relaxed more. She closed her eyes and took a sip of the drink only to have her eyes shoot open again. It was like a fruit filled explosion in her mouth. It was amazing. She hadn't tasted anything like it before.  She let out a little gasp, hardly able to believe this was an alcoholic drink. "This, this is amazing!" She exclaimed and took an invigorated drink. 

It may have been steamy but other people were still very visible. As she relaxed from her enthusiasm she noticed that about three fourths the occupants were men, and none of them seemed to opt to wear a towel. She was blatantly staring and you could almost see the question marks popping out of her head.  She turned her attention to Douken and asked, "Why is it the men don't like wearing their towels? Do they think if they show it all off any lady here will like, swoon over it or something? That's the message I'm getting from the looks in their eyes. I don't get it." She drank until her Sri k was gone. It really was too good. Her cheeks were rosy from the alcohol as she placed the cup on the edge of the pool. "Ah those drinks are dangerous I'll tell you. Can't even tell they're not just a fruity drink!" She looked over to Douken then as if noticing for the first time said, "Oh you have pretty hair." She then proceeded to softly pet his hair while giggling.

He did not expect ti find Lily to be dashing behind him like a scared puppy, holding onto his arm like a safety like. "Touching?" he repeated, not exactly sure what she meant. "Um, sorry to be rude, but whatever happened in there, I doubt I would have any power to help you. After all, even if this is a mixed spring, I am pretty sure there is a reason why the dressing rooms are separate…" Maybe there was some magic at play here between the two gender getting split before merging? He could not really tell. After all, its not like his eyes were being filtered on what was around them. "Come now, How about we not worry about it and enjoy ourselves here? We came to relax, not panic."

With her still on his arm, he decided to walk with her as if to tour the area out a bit. The place did seem pretty numerous with the nymph staff as life guards it seemed. Made sense enough, considering they were considered water spirits or guardians. However, the water did not really seem like it would be needed, until what looked to be a small island of drinks were being available for guests to purchase from. He watched them work, making water marks as if that was a payment tab, considering their wallets were inside, making him guess they would pay once they leave. That also meant the nymphs were there to stop any drunks from fighting or drowning. Now it made more sense.

After walking around a bit, Douken said, "Well, this seems like a very comfortable place. Why not we relax here?" before heading into the water himself, taking a seat along the edge before sloping down and relaxing.

She headed into the building with him and even at first glance she was enchanted with this place. It was beautiful to her. Then she noticed the person. Who seemed to be in charge. When the lady said the price Lily grabbed her money pouch but Douken was already paying. "You didn't have to pay for me. Fine then next adventure is on me then." She said and returned her pouch. She would make sure whatever was in store next, she would pay him back. She was extremely stubborn when it came to things like this and wouldn't take no for an answer. She listened to instructions and headed off to the woman's changing room. She looked around not quite knowing what to do. The multitude of baskets was interesting. Some had clothing in them others didnt. She must have looked as helpless as she felt because after a few moments a lady came up to her. "First time here?" She said. Lily nodded and the lady seemed to take pity on her. "Ah, ok well you put all your things in one of the baskets, here use the one next to mine. Then you can use one of these towels if you like for when you go in. If it's your first time, I recommend it." Two other woman were there as well and started chatting with the lady that had helped her. They didn't seem shy around eachother at all as they laughed while touching eachother. She quickly stripped down and wrapped herself in a towel before looking back at the woman like a lost dog. The lady and her friends giggled and one of them said, "Oh my you're quite blessed aren't you?" "Wh-what?"She replied and the ladies closed in on her and started what they probably thought was friendly touching. Lily's face was bright red when she managed to run out of the room into the steam filled area of the hotspring. She looked around in a slight panic as she could hear the women following her. Through the steam she saw Douken. She held her towel tight so it wouldn't fall off and ran over to him. She held onto his arm and hid behind him and said, "Help me, they keep touching." The other three women had emerged laughing and instead of approaching they waved and winked at her. "They're scary."

"Simple," Douken said, a bit of a jokey smirk on his face on him as he answered, "it opens doorways." An odd answer, yes, but it was no normal key the Ancients had left for them to find. Neither did it open gateways to other realms or dimensions. No, it was more that it made its own doors to unlock and open. "I think the main reason why no one has really discovered its secrets is because it involves a magical casting style that has nearly become lost in time thanks to the power of efficiency."

Then they were on the ledge just before the steaming building, Lily was the first to take a dive, holding her dress down so it down flutter so much on the descent. As for Douken, he glanced at his ankles to see if the runes he crafted were still in effect. Sure enough, they did have glow, but was staring to fade. Seemed they were at their last ounce of strength. With this in mind, he hopped wall to wall to ensure a safe descent down back to ground level, the light fading seconds before he landed on ground floor. Sure, that did mean he did stumble upon his landing, but at the very least his legs and ankles were unharmed. Meeting back up with Lily, he gave her a nod, telling her, "Let's go, shall we?" before heading her to the inside of the building.

The interior was of simple design (then again, its hard to challenge the flash Abed's had), but it was effective enough. A simple room hosting a nymph dressed in a simple, yet elegant kimono as a counterwoman and two doors behind her. "Greetings, my new guests," she told them, giving them a like bow, "and welcome to our hot springs. It is a mixed bath, if that is alright with the two of you." He turned over to Lily just to double check, who returned with a smile and a quick, "Sure," as a response. Turning back to the nymph, he nodded as well, as if to signify both parties were fine with it. "Very well. Two guest would be 40 silver then." Paying for the two of them, he handed over the coins, letting her count them before nodding. "The women's changing room is on the left while the men's is on the right. It is up to you whether you wish to keep your towel on or not. However, we would like to ask to keep all personal acts of affections outside of here. Thank you and please enjoy yourselves."

Giving a nod to their hostess, he waved to Lily, telling her, "See you on the other side then," before taking to the men's section, where many baskets were set up to hold the guest's clothing. Stripping down all except for the key around his neck, he placed the items within one of the baskets, wrapping himself in the offered towel before stepping out to the actual hot spring area. "Guess that explains why there was so much steam," he muttered, now seeing it was an outdoor spring, using more or less natural cover to stop others from entering.

She was lost in his explanation. It seemed so scandalous! Bathing with others same gender or both. Though she could see how it would save space and the like not having separate rooms for everyone. The idea of bathing with others seemed outrageous yet her curiosity was peaked. She wondered if people actually interacted in there or if everyone kept to themselves. What kind of things went on there? It seemed almost like he had read her mind when he motioned for her to join him as he headed towards the bath house. 

His explanation of himself was just as interesting to her as his explanation of the bathhouse. It seemed an amazing way to go about life. Just getting lost and going on adventures, not worrying about the politics of one city and how they may change your life. His way to make money was an interesting one as well. Who knew people would pay for information like that. She was surprised since in her time information that was needed by one person was always freely given by the other. They had no use for money or anything of the sort. The fact that money was used now was a strange concept to grasp but she had quickly caught on to it. She had made some money by every now and then selling some small trinket or another that she had from back in her time. Apparently one of the items used in their creation was sought after in this time. It made her wonder why that was seeing as it was a common and plentiful item way back when. It's disappearance seemed to coincide with that of her pwople so it was just another thing to add to her ever growing list of things to find out.
When he explained about the key hanging from his neck she leaned in to take a close look. "Hmm, it's quite pretty. What's the purpose you found for It if you don't mind me asking?"  

They were almost to the bath house and she looked over to him. "So how does this work? I assume we have to go through the front entrance." She said then jumped down from the roof, the skirt of her dress fluttering about as she fell. Her hands held her skirts down as she fell and landed gracefully with only a small noise accompanying her landing. She had used a slight amount of magic to make it an easy landing. She hadn't wanted to hike up the skirts of her dress in order to climb down, that would be a bit embarrassing. She looked to Douken and said in an amused tone, "So what do we do now Sir Douken, you're in charge of this little adventure."

"Correct, but its more of a public space than private, so do not be shocked that you have others with you as you relax or clean… depending on which it actually it is. The other question is if it is gender split or a co-ed system. Most of the time it is all about who is running the place where all that is answered."It was always an experience to see which case each one offered, especially if there were multiple in the same town. After all, he had found cases where one would be mixed while the other would be more separated. Of course each type had their own challenges to deal with such as peepers or public expression of feelings…

With a bit of a chuckle, he remarked, "My, what an interesting adventure to wake up to," before making a small motion to join him and head towards the steam to investigate as he went to describe himself. "I guess you can say its my profession is to get lost while exploring. I seek out information, such as routes, mineral veins, or ruins and sell off the information. At least that is how I am able to afford myself inn rooms and meals." Sure, he did have an ulterior motive with his searching, but he didn't feel like it was worth explaining. Instead, he more distracted himself by moving his thumb to the key around his neck and holding it up.

"For a while, we had this small relic in our family, and its only been now that this career has led an answer to its purpose, so sometimes what I find can be personally useful."

Hearing that he was new here as well she smiled brightly, "Then it truly is an adventure! Exploring the unknown, even if it is just a city like this instead of some haunted mansion, dark forest or monster filled cave. Even the smallest of adventures have their worth and may turn out being the best of all."

After she pointed out the bath house and he told her what it was she looked at it curiously. "A bath house? I've never seen one before. From the name I take it people go there to get clean." She had never heard of this Abed that he had mentioned but she figured it was some other city on this continent. 

He made a valid point when he suggested they get to know eachother before saying they were friends. "Hehe, sorry I guess you're right." She accepted his cheers with a response, "I'm Lilith Aeron, you can call me Lily. Cheers to friendship" she filled her glass again and drank. 

"So as to getting to know each other better I'll tell you about me. I woke up from a sleep of I don't know how long, several thousand years is my guess from the state of things. I met a titan of a dragon as soon as I made it back into the light from where I was kept. It was an amazing experience. I somehow ended up in the place called Vilpamolan instead of Adeluna which is where I was told to go. After a few weeks in Vilpamolan I decided I needed a break from all the violence and murderous things there so just got on a boat and left. I ended up here just a few hours ago." She took another drink before asking, "ok, what's your story?"

He was not sure if it was the alcohol talking or if she was simply carefree enough to not worry about slipping and breaking her neck, but at the very least she stopped at the idea of his company and instead invited him to be a drinking buddy. It would certainly be rude to say no to such a kind offer, so he accepted the drink, raised it up to her as if a quick cheers, before finally taking a slow sip for himself. It certainly was not a drink he had before. Instead of a punch of hops or fruit given towards the alcohol's flavor. Maybe this was what locals called Sake: a simple, yet effective rice wine. It was always amazing to see how cultures adapted to what they had before seeing it evolve into a local staple of their society.

However, it seemed this alcohol was not enough to delude her energy levels as she was quick to to ask him about what this town had to offer. "I am sorry, my new friend, but just like you, I am a stranger to this land myself. Then again, the sense of exploring and discovery can give a sense of fun on its own. We can tour this town together and see what it has to offer." However, it seems her eyes has already locked onto a spot of interest to check out… which happened to be a place he wanted to see as well.

"If I would to guess, I would say it would be a large bathhouse or hot spring. Not as grand as the one that rests in Abed, but enough to provide comfort for travelers, guests, and locals after their hard work tending to the farmlands here."

Though he was shoved the bottle, he chuckled before taking it in hand, pouring himself another quick glass to drink from. "How about before we do that, we get to know each other a bit? After all, things would be awkward if we simply called each other 'friend,' don't you think?" Raising his glass to her, he offered another cheers as he said, "I am Douken Sota. This is to our friendship," before finishing what he had poured before filling again.

She kept dancing as the stranger made their way over to her. She was having fun and didn't want to stop. He spoke of the dangers of dancing o  the rooftops and let out a small laugh. "Ah the dangers of dancing, the dangers of the world below. No matter what you do there is always one danger or another, so why not take the route that gives the most joy." Her dance came to a stop and she smiled as she looked the man over. He didn't seem like he was all that dangerous. She picked up the bottle of sake and poured another drink, this time in both of the small cups that had been provided. She held one out to the stranger and said, "Here, have a drink. It's a fine night and some fine company would be pleasant, so please feel free to stay a while." She looked out over the city below and downed her drink. Her mercury eyes scanning over every detail. "It's a peaceful place here.  I like it." She said quietly before pouring another drink and downing that as well. She set the bottle and her glass down and clapped her hands together before turning and looking back to the stranger. "So, my new friend, are there more fun things to do here than dancing upon the rooftops? If so, you should show me!" Her cheeks had started to get a bit red as the alcohol took effect. She scanned over the town again as if looking for something fun. "Hmm, what's that building over there? It looks weird." She said pointing to a building with steam rising from behind it. It was the entrance building to the hot springs. "We should go exploring! Here, have some more to drink!" She said picking up the bottle and thrusting it I to his face.

Though he did look down at the town, he did catch some motion more at the top of the buildings. A small moving figure in the distance. Was it some type of rogue after a heist? No, the clothes the figure wore did not really scream "stealthy." In fact, he could almost call it flow-y, like a dress. Not only that, but it took a seat and stayed still, seemingly taking in drinks at a casual manner. No, he figured this person was taking leisure in the night sky just like he was. He wondered if the figure would mind any company? If not, well it moved him closer to the hot spring he wanted to investigate anyways.

His eyes traced the lengths and heights on each building, mentally drawing in a map as his fingers moved down to his ankles, sparking alive with mana before drawing the same rune on each one, each one glowing and resonating as he got up, moving about the rooftops and leaping across the maps, following the route he had given himself before reaching the other's location, who during the time found themselves dancing to the ambience of the city below? No, it was probably safer to say she was recalling a bard's tune in her mind and was playing that to dance to.

"I do hope I am not interrupting," the explorer stated, stepping into view of the dancer before him, "But I would think it would be a bit of a danger dancing up here on your own. It would be sad to see anyone fall and harm themselves…"

The city of Nisshoki. A much more peaceful and calm place than that vile pirate town she had left. She had sailed across the seas to get away from it. She hasn't liked what it had been doing to her. She felt like she had defended into a wrathful being of blood and violence there, no matter how hard she had tried fighting it. So she had to leave. She had given no word to the few friendly people she had met there, but just left. The cool night air whipped through her long silver hair as the ship prepared to make port. The city looked beautiful, and the peaceful aura surrounding the place wrapped around her like a salve on a wound, comforting her and healing her mind from the darkness that lay within. After she ship had docked she had made her way to an inn and paid for a room. She dropped her bag off in the room but could not bring herself to sit still. She needed to see more of this place. She ordered a bottle of the sake that the innkeeper said they are more renown for in this place. She headed out on the town with her bottle. The streets were wonderful and peaceful with happy people everywhere, but she felt the need to see more. She headed into a small alley and out of sight of those around her she climbed the wall of the nearest building and took to the rooftops. It was more beautiful up here, observing everyone. She sat on the roof of one of the taller buildings and hummed quietly to herself as she poured a small glass of the sake. She took a sip and to her surprise she liked it. She hasn't liked the alcohols she had tried before, but that was to be expected, they were made by vile men. And vile men make a vile product. She found herself drinking more until she was pleasantly buzzed before she giggled and couldn't help herself but start to twirl about on the roof, dancing to the music playing in her head, music that she was humming quietly.

The life of adventure…. mystery… new landscapes… new encounters… while exhilarating, it can be quite taxing on the person! Poisonous plants, man-eating beasts, rations for days and not many folks to stop by and commune with was something he did not expect to be apart of the job description… Okay, maybe he did, but not this bad! It was enough for him to find the closest form of society, grab some ale, and enjoy some society. Thus, Douken had found himself within Nisshoki, selling what information he came across as well as some collected good to afford himself an inn room and a simple drink…

And even heading into the city to be social, he found himself relaxing on the ceiling with his drink.

Who could blame him, though? It was long, so he was tired, but more importantly, the night sky had its own unique shine to it, being very relaxing to sit town and stretch. Then again, old habits on finding higher locations were hard to break, giving Douken a place to scout out the land and see what could peak a traveler's interests. "A dip in the hot springs does sound pretty comforting," he sound himself saying as he looked over the land.
