While already miffed from Man's earlier comments his poor attempt at faking an apology along with his "warnings" merely stoke Lixue already burning anger towards her accuser. "Your silver tongue is rather dull for a noble. I would suggest that you polish it if we are exchanging warnings". The Undead would return to a neutral stance as her eyes lost their moonstone hue as it was clear that the Noble had enough sense to know when he was drastically overmatched.

Wrapping one of her hands over a closed fist as she gave the man a curt bow, "Since you introduced yourself I shall return the favor. I am Cao Lixue though you may call me by my given name as my family name Cao has long since been lost to the world along with my charges". As she mentioned the past a slight moment of pain could be seen behind the Former Priestess' stern expression as what she has lost and become still weighs heavily on her soul. "However, I refuse your apology as it lacks sincerity as it's clear that you still think I am guilty".

Leaning back up and returning her hands to her side. "Now that the introductions are out of the way I am curious about the person who apparently shares my appearance. While I do try to keep as much attention off of myself as possible, I am known to some as a wandering healer both in healer the body or the land if need be to secure a future for those that lack the power to do so…. Albeit it with middling success as power only does so much in the hands of the few". Breaking eye contact with Maximellian for a moment as the Undead continues to mutter about how to go about spreading the power to the world before focusing back on the Adonis. "So with that said it would be safe to say that I have garnered a bit of trust throughout my travels and I do not want others' trust in me to be used to endanger them. So if you can tell me everything about this Woman down to the smallest detail I will make sure that whoever is using my image will be swiftly dealt with".

Anger harboured in the steely grey eyes of the stranger with the face of the perpetrator that led him on his dangerous quest to Kavala. Though her words Implied that he had inflicted blame upon her, the noble knew that no matter how straight he tried to be, that it was unlikely she would fess up to her sin. He studied her more closely. A shimmer of magic shrouded the stranger’s true, grotesque looking form and for a moment it startled him. Maximellian had never encountered such a thing. What was worse, he had no idea what kind of power she held. He paused to consider the ‘woman’ for a moment. She could have easily been some ancient, dark entity out to test him from the underworld or some conspirator with the spirits of the island. Whatever the case, the Island had taught him caution and he knew those forces were powerful. If he were to face this woman, it was entirely likely that he would die.

“Alright,” the paladin offered with a firm nod. He decided it would be better to leave it alone. Causing a scene as a lone male against a female, in the middle of an art gallery, in a city that would condemn men at the drop of a hate, Maximellian thought better of it. He simply wished to admire the art.

As rude as she was, he chose to pay very little mind to her barbed comments. He had no interest in her thoughts, only who and what she really was. “If what you say is true. You may wish to be careful. You have bigger problems than me,” he turned to her and offered a bow with the half-hearted hint of a smile “I apologise for miss judging you. My name is Maximellian Rosa Chinesis the Third, Heir to the House of the Thorned Rose. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.”

"I would have used a more sturdy and less extravagant material as the gems' size alone are a natural wonder". Plucking her fingers off of the statue as her focus turned to the owner of the voice. Studying the man as he approached gave her almost nothing to go on as both his clothing and looks were not out of the ordinary within Sularia. Looking past the physical it was clear that his build was not simply for show as a larger than normal quantity of Qi ran through him. "However it seems as if I have found something far rarer in Sularia; a lone man".

Returning her arm back to her side as she kept up her guard as to her, a friendly smile usually hid the knife at her back. Once the Man had finished his advance his pause at her appearance only raised her defenses as anyone with basic magical or worldly knowledge could see that she was no longer a human. She expected a question or an outright claim of her being followed by no doubt violence. With a spell at the ready the Man's next move shocked and confused her; other half? I know that some refer to their wives and husbands as their other half or is her being literal? No..no he does not have the magical ability to do such a thing. As she thought her head unconsciously tilted as both her mind and body were confused by the Man's words. Snapping herself out of her ifs and buts as she refocused her attention on the Man as she straightened her hat. "I do not know why you are thanking me for your life as I did nothing to save or sustain it".

With her words said and done she was sure that simply explaining his mistake would put an end to the odd and uncomfortable interaction. Unfortunately, nothing is ever so simple as an apology or perhaps an acknowledgment of the woman he thought she is true nature? If she was not confused before the Undead was certainly now. Me no the other person who looks like me is sending others to a dangerous island? Why would they do that and more importantly why have they used my appearance to do so?

The thought of someone actively using her likeness to harm others when she has been going around doing her best to help and show others that her Undeath did not turn her into a monster like the others enraged the Priestess. "Forget me? as I said before I've never met you. I do not know who you are and I do not know of this trick someone clearly played on you. All I know is that I know that I would never knowingly endanger someone". Leering at the man now as not only is this mysterious person ruining her attempts to show others that she is not just an undead, but the man's accusations that she would do something so petty had her boiling. "Frankly the only thing that I know is true is that a man who looks as if he came straight from an Adelunian fairy tale is accusing me of acts I am keenly aware that I have not committed"! Lixue's once dull steel eyes showed a spark of shimmering moonstone within them as her near endly reliquary of magic began to boil along with her anger.

Adorned in a beautiful tunic of dark navy blue embroidered elegant patterns of gold, Maximellian marvelled at the magnificence of the vibrant, rich culture that Sularia had to offer. Attracted to this great city for the promise of its unique style of architecture and art, he had spent little time in the company of the locals in fear that the rumours of the feminine aggression toward men in these parts were true. Infidelity was a sin that he would not tolerate whether a woman desired him or not, Maximellian had no interest in anyone but Aurelia.

Wandering alone at the heart of a world of endless creativity and imagination, Maximellian stepped through the door that lead from the east wing to the main entrance hall where five exquisitely carved statues stood in a unified circle, carefully adorned with gems that glimmered soft petals of rainbow light across the dark, marbled floors, reflected in the sunlight that beamed through the stained glass windows. Breathlessly the paladin slowly wandered in, thanking Sirona for giving him this moment to see the wonders and love of life that the creatures of this world had worked hard to create. His eyes wandered across the floors until finally they spotted another figure in the room who too had been admiring the cut of the gems.

“Magnificent isn’t it? To view the work of great artists envisioning a moment of history perfectly carved in gem and stone,”
he began slowly wandering toward the stranger with a warm smile. He noticed her appearance. Smaller than he was with odd turquoise tinted hair, dull grey eyes and pigtails, she was unmistakable. This woman was the same who had given him the quest to adventure to Kavala to find “Metaya Doum,” or so he thought. “It is my other half I have to thank for my life,” the rich, deep tones of his voice echoed throughout the vast expanse of the chamber. “I am sorry that I did not find your friend on that island, though I was glad to find out that he didn’t exist. I do not know what game you wish to play, but I hope that it brings you some solace that I was put through a peril that would bring many nightmares. I do not know your reason, or your name…” he stood in front of the neighbouring statue to the one Lixue inspected and watched her from the corner of his eye “but I will never forget you.”

The Desert Rose of known as Sularia seemed to be more of a diamond in the rough as the sheer amount of wealth that lined the street is obscene, even to the Kairthian Undead. While the roads are not paved with gold, gemstone embedded brickwork with crafts lining the streets is certainly giving what use to my country a run for their money.

As Lixue ventured further into the craft district her purple clothing seemed to suit the area as few took notice of the ghostly pale women wandering through the district taking note of the crafts of not only Sularia but other cultures as well. Honestly, with all of the wealth, the Priestess was surprised that the whole city was not overrun with thieves and opportunists. Perhaps I will have to speak with some of the guards more as I doubt any city is completely free of crime.

Doing her best to keep out of the way of others' work as carts leaden with goods and materials rushed through the area either to be sold or turned into new works to further Sularia's beauty as it seems as if beauty is highly praised and sought after within Sularia. Perhaps if vanity and material wealth mattered to Lixue the Undead may have stuck around more, but she was more than aware that everything fades away with time.

Venturing deeper and deeper into the heart of the Purple District began to irritate her more and more as she has been to the small towns and villages fraught with danger, starvation, and sickness. The fact that such disgusting displays of wealth existed while others live in inhuman conditions ate away at her being for simply visiting such a place as she was well aware that every waking moment someone is no doubt in need of even a speck of wealth or help. I promised to help those below Kairth, but here I am wandering around such a place clearly lacking for nothing. Noticing that her brooding had halted her and gained the attention of others she rushed into a large building as to not draw too much attention to herself.

Shutting the door caused an echo throughout the large entryway that held a magnificent statue of five women holding each other's hand as the other looked to support the ceiling. Craftsmanship aside the fact that one was able to find such large specimen of diamond, amethyst, onyx, cistern, and ruby but to form it into such a shape would be an impossibility if she had not seen it with her own eyes. Almost as if Lixue was entranced by her curiosity she moved towards the statue while lightly tracing her finger along the cut gems as she looked all around the statue still in disbelief.
