The Purple district was relatively lively today. The weather outside wasn't too hot and a cool breeze had blown through Sularia. The artists were out and about, trying to get their muses working to get creative but more importantly, to get paid. Meanwhile a group of three kids were hanging out near one of the statues. The group of kids were two girls and one boy named Kian. The boy was about twelve and had red fiery hair but unlike the two girls with him, he wasn't a Rosenite. It made his life a little strange, being the only half-elf in his friend group but he didn't seem to mind. The three had been chasing each other through the town when they decided to relax at the base of the statue. 

"Hey, I have an idea!" The girl named Sarah exclaimed. 

"Please tell me it doesn't involve running." Leah, the other girl, whined. 

"Don't worry. It's just a little game of truth or dare." Sarah said. 

"Lets do it!" Kian all but shouted. 

He was always up for something fun. The boy didn't have much to hide but he enjoyed the dare parts the most. The truth parts were boring while the dares let him try stuff he would never try on his own. 

"Okay. I'll go first. Leah, truth or dare?" Sarah asked. 

The game went on for a while until it was finally Kian's turn. He was practically bouncing up and down in anticipation. 

"Let me guess. You're gonna chose dare?" Leah said sarcastically to Kian. 

"As if I would chose anything else. In fact, I bet I can handle TWO dares." Kian retorted back. 

"Alright. I dare you to get to the roof of that house and drink this bottle of hot sauce." Leah handed him the bottle that she'd stolen yesterday. 

"Ha! You think that's a scary dare? I'll do you one better!" Kian said, "I'll drink the bottle of hot sauce and do a backflip on top of the roof at the same time!"

The other girls looked concerned at this idea. It seemed significantly more dangerous than the original plan. Before they could stop him, he'd snatched the bottle of hot sauce and started climbing up the building to get to the roof. The house was a two story building but it had windows and was made out of bricks. He used the first window and pulled himself upwards, getting his feet on the bottom rim of the window. The bottle of hot sauce was being held in his mouth as he used the cracks in the wall to pull himself upwards. Meanwhile the two other girls were shouting at him to stop and about how dumb it was, but Kian wasn't listening. His eyes shined with determination.

Finally, he managed to climb to the roof. He took a small break since his arms were tired but didn't take too long or else his friends would get an adult to stop him. Then Kian got to the top of the roof, right were it was straight before bending down on the left and the right. He put his feet on that straight part and opened the bottle of hot sauce. Just when the bottle was to his lips, he jumped up into the air, and performed a backflip while drinking the hot sauce. Well, it was more of the hot sauce fell into his mouth and throat. Kian landed safely on the roof but he dropped the bottle. It shattered the second it hit the hard roof and sent some of the glass flying into his arms and legs. Kian's throat was burning and his eyes were tearing up. But he had done it! He gave a thumbs up to his friends down below. 

"I did it." He croaked as loudly as possible. 

Then he had to cough a few times. Without water, the hot sauce was really taking a toll on his mouth. And there was hot sauce getting into his glass injuries.
