Inside the White Rose Manor, deep in her workshop were two young ladies. One was tending to her latest contraption while the other one was spotting her, handing her the tools needed while she sat upon the floor and was reading one of her books on the aspect of healing. If some stranger was to waltz in and look at the two, they would be hard-pressed to think of them as anything but blood sisters as they looked pretty relatable. While Tempest was gifted with sun-kissed skin and untamed chocolate locks, Keya was of a fairer complexion and carried hazelnut, straight hair. Time had flown for them ever since their parents met- one minute she and her father were trying to have ends meet and the next, they were whisked away to a paradise all so that he could protect Tempest's mother. And it all started when Tempest and her twin Kite screwed up a job that her father was in the middle of. But their intrusion was a blessing in more ways than one.

It had been years since and all three children had grown up together under this roof and she hadn't been treated any differently than they had with the other Roses and Wintercrests. They treated her and Daylor like family, something she hadn't understood until she got older. She was in the middle of her studies when she paused for a moment and handed Tempest another one of her instruments when asked. "You sure that you won't get getting into trouble this time with this? Heaven knows that Toya can't afford to put you through another wall." She smiled amongst herself and waited for her response. Her nimble fingers traced around the words of the book as she continued onward, refreshing her mind of today's lesson- mainly the commonmost plants to seek out and the healing properties they each hold. While her companion was an inventor by heart, Keya wanted to repay the kindness the Rosenites had given her little family and so when the time came, she wanted to go to the Sularia Academy and become a healer. It was the one discussion that her father didn't fight her on at all. 

"What thing are you making this time? You never told me that much, only asking for my help…" She wasn't too concerned- Tempest had a good heart and mind, but she could…go overboard at times with her eagerness. And that would lead to accidents that were commonplace by now. As was usually the result which was someone would come busting in and if it was Toya, she would do what she did best- punt her granddaughter and threaten to put her through a wall. Anyone else? They would scold her but that hardheadedness made it nigh impossible to get the message through. Then they would question her as too why she didn't stop her- to which Keya would give them words about how Tempest was Tempest. She would get scolded/threatened as well, depending on the person, but other than that, she would go unscathed.
