It was most likely just another day to the two women standing guard in front of the gates that led to the massive oasis city of Sularia. Burdened with boredom, they would go about their duties with a stoic resolve. And yet there was a casual air about the whole setting. As if they knew that nothing out of the ordinary would happen today. Oh how the tides do change. And, change they would. In a way that would put shock, and concern, on the faces of these two beautiful women.

It would start with a feeling of pin pricks. Imagine your leg falling asleep and then the sensation you get when it starts to come back from the numbness. Those tiny little pin pricks that leave the flesh in a myriad state of horripilation. The minute, fine hairs standing on end as the feeling washed over them. The itchiness and the shivers running down their spine. The spasm as they try tried to fight off the pseudo chill. Something was happening.

Something certainly was happening. As the air began to feel heavy, literally, like there was a weight to it. It made breathing hard. The pressure build up was near suffocating. The women, depending on how well trained they were for their positions, might possibly begin to feel dizzy. In the extreme, one may even feint. But, that was far fetched. Besides, it was almost over.

The last thing was the shimmering. The air its self looked as if it was wavering. As if there was some form of extreme heat in play. Only, nothing could be felt. Not physically, in any case. Mentally, there would be an abrasive onslaught of energy. Psionic energy. Radiating from the center of this anomaly. Whatever it was, it was big. Huge! So large that when it finally did end, the resounding POP that was the result of the atmosphere imploding on its self, the women both looked up in anticipating awe.

But there was nothing. No matter how hard they tried they could see no sign of a god like creature, or being, capable of giving off so much power. But, it was there! They felt it! Their senses, even if they were mentally linked, could not be lying to them. Could they? The power was real. So there must be something left.

About that time one of the ladies noticed a bit of movement. Her eyes trailed downward and, to her amazement, there stood the most perfect specimen of a male she had ever seen. He was remarkable. Beautiful. And, as he slowly brought himself to stand upright, he swung his face in her direction. His eyes locking onto hers. For that briefest of moments she was in heaven. She had met the man of her dreams. He was absolutely amazing.

Yes. He certainly was. Alan was, for all intents and purposes, perfect to look at. But, in all fairness, he was designed, and ultimately created to be just that. Incredibly attractive, and tantalizing. To any, and all. He was an Omni Demon. Not really a demon, but the lives that he, and his brethren, led had produced certain reputations. Over the eons, the names stuck. And, he did nothing to dissuade those callings. He rather liked them.

But here, in this strange new place, he was known to none. And that, to him was more pleasant than anything he had encountered in quite a long, long time. But something was missing. And he felt their absence almost immediately. He reached to his hip with his left hand and it fell to the hilt of a blade that was not his own. But, he new a rapier when he touched one. The man could make such a weapon an extension of his own body better than most. At the same time, his right hand moved to his chest where it fell on emptiness. There was no necklace, no charm, no psicrystal. The only two companions he trusted were now gone from him.Bath Kol, his intelligent rapier, and Tank. Tank was more than a psicrystal. He was a part of Alan.

The only sign that something was wrong with the man would come in the form of a quick exhaling through his nose and slight, barely noticeable squint of his eyes that was near immediate. He would say something in a low voice, almost inaudible. "Given a soul one day and kicked out the next. Thanks, Thesis." Who he was talking to was beyond anyone's guess. And that was information he would not willing give. His past was that. His. And he would keep it that way. For now, he had more pressing matters.

He took a step forward, noticed that he was no longer dressed in fine clothes but in cotton wools. Simple pants, a simple tunic, and some monstrosity of a head ornament. He pulled that thing off with haste and stuffed the edge of the bandanna along his waist line so it was secure. With a soft shake of his head, he bowed slightly and came back up with a look, and a posture, that could humble even a king.

"I seem to be blessed by the presence of two of this lands finest women. Might one of you lovely ladies indulge this lost soul? I find myself adrift in this realm. Where is it that I find myself this day accompanied by such beauty?"

.:~ This may need some editing later. I need to talk with Britt and find out if she NPC's her toons or if it is on me to do so. ~:.

The secret to life? That's easy. Enjoy it …

(:P no need I got you)

The days were floating on and she found herself drifting in the household of people. Her daughter was out doing gods know what. Her sisters were crazy. However, the kingdom was holding up on its own as the days went day by day. She looked into a mirror as she dressed herself. She pulled a dark blue dress over her body and pulled the strings so it was snug against her curves. The dress had silver along the edges of it. Her yellow rose pendant hung at her neck.

"I will be going out." She said to one of the few people who worked in the house. Running her hand down her golden curls she looked out her window towards her rose gardens. Soon it would be time for the trimming. They were gorgeous for this time of year. A smile came to her face before she slipped some slippers onto her feet.

Strolling out the door she made her way down to the start of town by the gate and noticed the guards charmed. Sighing lightly she made her entrance onto the scene and looked at the male who was trying to get information at least. "No, they have work to do but I wouldn't mind indulging." She interrupted him and strolled over by him.

"Will you accept my offer? I might be able to tell you what you need to know. There have been plenty of your kind about lately."
