Mirannda nodded.
”That is correct.” She got an insight of the past as Celeste mentioned “the other world”. With a nod, she accepted the wine glass as she allowed her mind to travel with the knowledge. The phoenix remembered the fall out of the gods, or rather the vague stories of them. To realize that even the gods were from her own world was more heartwarming than she thought it would be.
”Smart tactic to take out the one who keeps everyone else alive first and foremost.”She settled into the seat as she soaked in all the information the women were giving her. Lucian, king of the Red court of Sularia is Nemesis and Angela’s son, twin to Nerezza. They had a grandchild through Nerezza, the sight of mother and child clenched her heart. It was becoming clear that Miranda was actually searching for a mate, in a rather promiscuous manner. She smiled softly and gave a respectful remark on the kisses pressed into the adults’ foreheads.
”For as many as she has, she loves them all, doesn’t she?”The wine glass was set down as Mirannda scooted closer to get a look at the child.
”Of course, who doesn’t want to see the amazing movement of color? You’re adorable, Emry. May I?” Mirannda asked to hold the infant. When she was given permission, the phoenix settled into a comforting position while carefully supporting the neck as she held Emry.
”Are you a sassy patootie?” She gave a playful wiggle of the nose at the child, randomly changing her hair to blue with a feigned surprise gasp.
”Mira, Mira, Mira! Is that a tiny human?” Calcifer, who had been jumping from candle to candle above, came speeding down to hover over her head to get a look at Emry. Mirannda laughed.
”I suppose you could call babies that, Cal.” The fire sprite, who sometimes had an attention disorder, took to hovering in circles around Celeste and Angela’s heads.
”Pretty women, lovely music, handsome men! World at peace, now dance!” She rolled her eyes as she looked down at Emry.
”Silly Calcifer can’t sit still.”

“Ah, yes you were Dalanesca’s champion correct?” She knew from Serci once upon a time. Her eyes looked her over and she was sad about her good friend but she too let it go. This wasn’t the time for sadness. “Sounds like something Nemesis wouldn’t plan for. He has always been that way. His way or no way… Well unless you were certain people.” Angela chuckled now as she looked at Celeste.
Celeste nodded a bit. “Angela has known Nemesis for a long time. They have children together from the other world. Though it was much more on a whim to sleep together.”
“My agenda for Nemesis was rather flawed but I don’t regret my twins.” Angela waved her hand a bit and got a wine glass for Mirannda. “Here you go,” she handed it off to the phoenix. “I wouldn’t worry too much about me asking for you. My religion is vast and I do have a champion of my own. You would be much more useful to Celeste who doesn’t have that many resources.” Angela thought about the attack and shrugged. “A lot of things have happened that hurt a lot more than that attack I promise you. Plus according to Kiba I apparently get attacked a lot more than most deities. Though that might be because I am the group’s healer. I’ve had worse though so I’m not overly too worried… Plus I think Nemesis would rip anyone’s throat out who tried now.”
“I agree,” Celeste nodded as she found them a few seats not far from the music. “Sularia is Angela’s home. It is nice here and not overly hot but I can sense the enchantments in the air.”
“Aye, normally it is much too hot for cold dwellers like yourself.” Angela sat down and sipped more on her wine. “My offspring are all about though. However, mine and Nemesis’s son Lucian is working his ass off making sure everything goes alright. He is the current king of the Red Court since I stepped down. His twin helps him but I fear she hinders him more than anything…” Angela chuckled more and pointed towards the two snow haired adults. “That’s Lucian and Nerezza. The baby she has is mine and Nemesis’s first grandchild Emry.” Once Nerezza turned she had a baby in a wrap on her chest. Tuffs of white hair were sticking out. “Maybe I should steal her. I’ll be right back.”
Angela put her wine glass down and swooped into the other side. She kissed the twins’ foreheads before thieving the wrap, the baby, and leaving Nerezza in a state of confusion for a second. Angela brought Emry back over and sat down. Leaning the baby into her chest she watched as the infant looked around with her blue eyes.
“Good afternoon Little Emry,” Celeste seemed happier once the baby was there. The baby cooed at them all and Angela chuckled.
“She wanted to see everything. She didn’t want to be stuck in a wrap…” Angela let Mirannda see her as well. “Emry is a curious little thing but she already has an attitude like her mother. Sass runs deep.”

'Sister wives, huh?' She mused to herself as Celeste introduced the goddess. Despite her short time with Dalanesca, Mirannda felt like she did not have much of a chance as a champion to call upon social visits with other deities. Angela, it was known, was her goddess's dear friend, and the stories of Dalanesca's death did not fall on deaf ears. However, even the phoenix knew this was not the time to dwell on such sad thoughts.
Mirannda chuckled softly, returning the bow in turn.
"No need for such formalities to a fallen champion, m'lady." She blinked at the response to her presence.
"To be fair, we were both out hunting. Death is never on my agenda, he just didn't expect me to wake back up." She gave a confident smile and nodded.
"Of course."Nemesis had a lot to deal with due to his new responsibilities, which explained why his wives were building bonds and relationships together. Since they share the man, it only made sense that they share a special bond, lest things fall into chaos.
"With the merging of things, am I safe in assuming my services reach to Angela as well? Things promise to be intriguing in the days to come. I would be happy to assist you, Angela, as most phoenixes would contest that you are our patron goddess. Though, I do regret not taking the time to meet you properly before. How are you faring since the attack?"

At some point or another Celeste got bored and decided to come to Sularia after all. While Nemesis was busy doing Nemesis things Celeste hung around with Angela as they watched the party-goers. Celeste wasn’t dressed her absolute best like Angela was but she did choose to wear an off-shoulder black dress. It complimented her pale pink hair that had been thrown up into an updo carefully.
Celeste held onto a glass of wine as she sipped it. Her eyes reached Mirannda’s as the phoenix came up. “Indeed, it would seem that my sister wife to be has chosen now to announce it.” Celeste chuckled a bit and waved her hand to Angela who was sipping her wine patiently.
“This is the Goddess Angela and I chose her to be with Nemesis as well… Not that I am sure I could have kept them apart.” Celeste chuckled a bit and Angela snorted with laughter.
“No, Nemesis wouldn’t have moved without your say so. He puts an awful lot onto your shoulders. Ever since the incident you told me about,” Angela greeted Mirannda with a little bow. “Hello,” Angela looked to Celeste for a name and Celeste took her sweet time.
“This is Mirannda, she is the phoenix I told you about.”
“Oh my!” Angela chuckled and looked her over. “I can see why Nemesis would have done something like he did. Your presence can be intoxicating to some when in a rage.” The goddess was attempting to be humble and kind before looking at Celeste. “You are too cruel. You should have told me this is who she was from the start.”
Celeste shrugged and bit and watched over Mirannda. “I think she can handle it… Can’t you Mirannda? I know I haven’t called on you in a while but things have been mighty busy with Nemesis becoming a god and now our newfound family.”
"Nemesis is busy doing whatever it is Nemesis does when he isn't with the two of us. Will you join us for the evening? My children are about and so things aren't dull as we appear to be right now." Things had gone into a lull since they had mostly been talking alchemy and other things. This also gave Angela the chance to see what Mirannda was like since more than likely she would be around her own children eventually when the goddess could not be there.

Mirannda had chosen a dress that was less bright than her previous outfits to past balls. It was a strapless black dress that sparkled like the night sky with diamonds. Her hair was pulled back into a bun, which was allowed to stay the natural black color she was born with. This was not a ploy to make herself unrecognizable, for she no longer felt the need to hide for the first time in a long time.
As she happily greeted the few who called the phoenix out, making small pleasantries with them, Mirannda managed to steal over to the bar to grab a glass of her favorite mulled wine while she contemplated the past year. A goddess died, her goddess, yet there was so much to look forward to. Kohaku found someone to finally find peace with, leaving the mercenary a choice. She could either move forward or wallow in self-pity. She decided she must not allow herself to fall in any negativity which stemmed from within, so she must make the most of each gifted day.
When her eye caught a familiar pink-haired woman, Mirannda smiled warmly. Their meeting had not been the smoothest, as she had been paraded through town stark naked, up the steps tethered like a dangerous animal. Nemesis then gifted her to Celeste, yet they had grown a bond of familiarity since then. There were two things the little woman could trust. Mirannda would do whatever it takes to carry out any given task, even if faced with death, and she would never, ever, be found in Nemesis's arms again. It was not hard to imagine the reasonings behind Celeste's attendance, for many travel long distances each year for this celebration. The mercenary walked up to Celeste with a polite greeting.
"Good evening, Mistress. Do my ears deceive me, or is Nem truly getting married again?"
